Cardi B Shares the Heartbreaking Reason She’s ‘Scared’ to Post Photos of Baby Kulture (Exclusive)
Cardi B is a protective mama bear!
On Wednesday night, the 26-year-old rapper opened up to ET’s Katie Krause at the launch of her Fashion Nova X Cardi B line at Boulevard3 in Los Angeles about motherhood and her continued reservations on sharing photos of her 4-month-old daughter, Kulture, with the world.
“One day, soon,” she assures ET of posting photos. “I’m scared of sharing her to the world. There are too many mean people out there.”
Cardi admits that the temptation is strong because of how in love she is with her little one.
“Sometimes I do want to show people how beautiful and how precious she is. She’s so precious,” she says. “There’s a lot of people that have crazy minds, you know. I want to protect her! She’s my little buggy.”
One person Cardi doesn’t have to worry about is her husband, Offset, who is a great dad to Kulture already.
“He is changing diapers, but I’ve been seeing Offset being a dad,” she explains. “He already has three kids, so I already fell in love with the way that he was a dad already. I’m like, ‘Oh my god, I can have a little one with this guy.’ He’s really good.”
Despite the Migos rapper’s skills in the daddy department, Cardi thinks Kulture is more of a mama’s girl.
“I think she’s more me. I think she loves me a little bit more, but I think she’s just loyal to whoever gives her the milk,” she teases.
So will Cardi and Offset be adding to their sweet family?
“I want two more,” she admits. “It could always be a hit or miss, but I don’t want nothing right now.”
This isn’t the first time Cardi has gotten candid about keeping baby Kulture out of the spotlight. Last month, she told her fans that she had turned down a seven-figure deal for the first photos of baby Kulture.

Fran Drescher dishes on ‘The Nanny’ reboot with Cardi B
Maybe they’ll call it “Nanny B.”
Fran Drescher says she’s still talking to rap superstar Cardi B about working together on a TV series: either a re-imagining of “The Nanny” — Drescher’s classic CBS sitcom turning 25 on Saturday — or possibly as a mother/daughter TV combo in some other show.
“Look, it probably isn’t going to be ‘The Nanny’ because, for whatever reason, the whole reboot genre is beginning to wane,” says Drescher, 61, who played “The Nanny’s” nasal, flirty Fran Fine, a fashion queen-turned-nanny to the children of Maxwell Sheffield (Charles Shaughnessy), a wealthy, high-society Broadway producer.
COZI TV will pay homage to “The Nanny” on Saturday with an all-day, 25-episode marathon (6:30 a.m.-7 p.m.) celebrating its silver anniversary (it ran from Nov. 3, 1993, to June 23, 1999).
Talk of a possible Drescher/Cardi B pairing began in September, when the Bronx-born rapper, 26, Instagrammed a photo of herself wearing a leopard-skin dress as an homage to Drescher. “She’s a fan of the show and we’re both style icons with funny voices,” Drescher says. “She did that homage to me and it kind of mushroomed because I happened to be doing press [for the animated movie ‘Hotel Transylvania 3’] and I was asked if I was aware that she had linked us together with photos suggesting our similarities.
“I’m actually developing a millennial-and-me baby boomer show [to star in] and I thought maybe this is fortuitous, maybe we would be good together,” Drescher says. “She would be good playing my daughter. I’m taking meetings with her representatives and you never know, maybe something will develop out of that. We’re in the talking stages right now and our fans have been supportive on social media. She’s a fan of mine and I would protect her and take good care of her.
“It could be a limited series; it doesn’t have to be something that goes for years on end — maybe 10 episodes on Netflix or Amazon or any of those streaming channels,” she says. “She’s a very popular singer so I don’t think she would be able to commit to a TV series in the way I have in the past. She’s riding her wave; maybe three months [of shooting] and 10 episodes. She might really enjoy that and it would be another notch in her belt.”
Drescher cautions that, if the two were to strike a deal, the show could differ from “The Nanny,” which ended with Fran and Maxwell marrying and having twins.
“[‘The Nanny’] was a classic kind of fairy tale that had its end. I was really thinking of an original, new concept with [Cardi B] and me,” Drescher says. “Not a reboot of ‘The Nanny,’ but maybe a scenario where she would be the nanny and I could play … not Fran Fine but another Fran who has a different attitude. I’m not sure I’m all that interested in going back.
“When ‘The Nanny’ ended they had babies and were married … Fran was very much [Maxwell’s] partner and equal; the nuances and humor would be the same. Even if we make believe the last season never happened, I feel like I’m a little long-in-the-tooth to still be playing a nanny. There’s something uncool about that. The show has a reverence to it and I wouldn’t want to soil that.”
Still, Drescher would need to find a home for the show before it becomes a reality.
“I think ‘The Nanny’ is still so popular with millennials and on social media and we’re actually much more current [than other reboots],” she says. “It’s so ironic that TV people don’t seem to be wise to that. I don’t have any bites from any networks, to tell you the truth, as unbelievable as it sounds.”

Barbra Streisand Upends the “Carpool Karaoke” Format, Just Because She Can
The singer took the driver’s seat for her trip around the block with James Corden.
There’s no “Carpool Karaoke” quite like a Barbra Streisand “Carpool Karaoke”—because for one thing, as Late Late Show viewers saw on Thursday night, when Babs carpools, she’s the one in the driver’s seat. Would you expect anything less?
That’s right—it was Streisand who picked Corden up this time. And although she was reluctant to listen to music on their journey at first, Streisand eventually relented. The two belted their way through “No More Tears,” “The Way We Were,” “Imagine/What a Wonderful World,” and her new Donald Trump-inspired tune, “Don’t Lie to Me.” Oh, and Corden also squeezed in a quick lesson in Cardi B—specifically, “Bodak Yellow.” The closing number? “Don’t Rain on My Parade.”
Streisand’s playful ribbing of Corden makes for a particularly fun entry into the ever-expanding library of “Carpool Karaoke.” In addition to her faux reluctance to listen to music, Streisand also critiqued his performance at one point, correcting him on a lyric in “The Way We Were.” And Corden responded in kind, teasing Streisand over that one time she called Tim Cook to ask him to correct how Siri pronounces her name. Streisand admitted that she also once called Steve Jobs when she couldn’t figure something out on her computer.
But perhaps the most amusing moment was when Streisand, still behind the wheel, admitted that she had failed the written test to renew her driver’s license three separate times. (“I was so nervous!”) Corden, newly aware of the risk he had taken getting in the car with his guest, quickly accepted his fate. “If this is how I go out,” he said, “I’ll take it. It’s a good way to go out.”

Cardi B turned down 7-figure deal for photos of baby Kulture
There’s not a check big enough to convince Cardi B and Offset to release photos of their new baby.
Talking with Apple Music host Ebro Darden on Wednesday, the “Bodak Yellow” rapper revealed she was offered an enormous sum for images of baby Kulture.
“Me and my husband … we just don’t wanna show our baby right now,” she said. “I got offered seven figures, but I’m just not ready yet … Over a million.”
Cardi B and Offset, both 26, welcomed Kulture on July 10.
Since then, they’ve only shown pictures of her hands or feet — never her face.
While Cardi B may not be sharing new photos of her kid, she’s talking nonstop about how her life has changed.
She quipped a few days ago that giving birth to Kulture “broke” her vagina.
Cardi B Shows Off Incredibly Flat Stomach While Asking Fans for This Piece of Post-Baby Advice
Cardi B is taking questions about her post-baby body to social media.
The 26-year-old rapper and new mom took to Instagram on Friday to share a pic of herself showing off her impressively flat stomach after giving birth. While she definitely looked proud of her hard work in the gym — flaunting her abs in a sports bra and track pants and striking a fierce pose with her hands on her hips — there’s still one aspect of her body that she’d like to work on.
“Ladies how do you guys get rid of the black line in the middle of your stomach after giving birth?? cause b**ch????,” Cardi wrote.
The line is called the pregnancy line, according to the American Pregnancy Association, and is usually caused by changing hormones. The line is pretty common and usually fades away on its own shortly after birth.
Fans were quick to jump in with their own advice, suggesting Cardi use cocoa butter and a variety of oils, while other celeb moms, like Tamar Braxton and Jessica Alba, told the rapper that it’s all about “time.”
Cardi has been candid about her experience with motherhood and everything that comes with it since she gave birth to daughter Kulture in July.
“She broke my vagina,” she hilariously claimed during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Wednesday.
“Why does nobody tell you about those things? Nobody told me they were gonna stitch my vagina!” she said. “People just be like, ‘Oh, when you give birth, it’s gonna hurt.’ But nobody tells you [the real truth].”

Fran Drescher wants Cardi B to join her in a reboot of The Nanny
Fran Drescher is ready to make money moves with Cardi B.
On Wednesday’s episode of PeopleTV’s Chatter, Drescher revealed that she’d love to reboot her ’90s sitcom The Nanny alongside the rapper behind “Bodak Yellow” and “I Like It.”
“I want to do a sitcom with Cardi B,” Drescher said. “Wouldn’t she be great as my daughter?”
Fans have been calling for Cardi and Drescher to link up since at least December, when the rapper gave off Nanny vibes during an appearance on The Tonight Show. Cardi also shared an Instagram post paying fashion homage to the actress last month, and Drescher, 61, said all the buzz got her thinking about teaming up for a potential revival.
After all, they do have a few similarities.
“I got my juices flowing and thought, ‘Wait a minute, she’s from New York, we both have funny voices, she could be my daughter!’” Drescher said.
Drescher noted that because her onscreen love interest, Maxwell Sheffield (Charles Shaughnessy), was white, Cardi’s character would have to have a different father. Despite the biological minutiae, however, fans have been all in on the idea on Twitter.
According to Drescher, networks have little interest in a reboot of The Nanny, but she has previously mentioned discussions with co-creator and real-life ex-husband Peter Marc Jacob about getting the adventures of Fran Fine, a sassy caretaker from Flushing, Queens, back on TV.
“We’re talking about it. Peter and I are talking about it,” Drescher said in June. “We’re working on a very big project. It’s going to be very exciting for the fans, but I’m not at liberty to announce it yet. But it’s going to be big.”

Bartender Sisters Allegedly Attacked By Cardi B Banned From Strip Club
A lawyer for the women alleges they cannot work for their previous employer because of the complaints they raised against Cardi B.
The siblings, named Rachel Wattley and Sarah Wattley go by Baddie Gi and Jade. The women are aged 21 and 23 respectively. They claim to have been victimized in an attack launched by Cardi B and her entourage which first began when Cardi threw a hookah pipe and drinking glasses at them. Cardi’s crew allegedly followed her actions by throwing chairs and bottles at the bartenders leaving them with significant injuries. The brawl is said to have been sparked by Cardi’s belief that one of the sisters slept with her husband, Offset.
A lawyer for the Wattleys, Joe Tacopina, said that the sisters have not been allowed to return the strip club where they used to work as a result of the incident. He told The Washington Post, “they were told they can’t work there because of the complaint they made against Cardi B.” He went on to reveal, “They have text messages [that] say that from the club.” Tacopina also denied the accusation that either one of the women slept with Offset.
Cardi B did turn herself earlier this week and was charged with one count of third-degree assault and two counts of reckless endangerment. The Bronx rapper will appear in criminal court on October 29.
