Children of the cornbread UPDATE!! Bibb NAACP asking for release, reduced charges for Walmart suspects
I don’t feel bad for these kids they have been cussing me out on my video all weekend long,
if you’re grown enough to do the crime, then sit yo ass down and do the time, now with that being said they should get no more than 3-6mths in bootcamp
after all no one was killed or hurt thank God!
The Macon-Bibb County Branch of the NAACP says the charges against five people arrested for vandalism at a Macon Walmart are too severe.
Gwenette Westbrooks, president of the organization, said the parents of the suspects reached out to her asking for help.
The five are charged with felonies including rioting, damage to property, and street gang activity. They all remain in jail.
“Their bonds are too high,” Westbrooks said in a telephone interview with 13WMAZ. “We’re asking for their bonds to be reduced and we’re asking for them to be released … they’re not being treated fairly.
“It’s not gang related,” Westbrooks added. “Just because more than three people are together doesn’t mean they’re in a gang.”
The bond for Kharron Nathan Green, 17, is set at $11,200, according to the county jail website. Twenty-year-old Lekelvin Lamont Renfroe’s bond is set at $5,900. Bonds have not been set for Hajj-Malik Markaveli Renfrone, 18, Vashaun Chandler Rozier, 18, and a 16-year-old juvenile.
Dozens more are expected to be arrested in the case in which 40 to 50 teens stormed the Zebulon Road Walmart after midnight on June 28 running down aisles and pulling merchandise off of the shelves.
They caused more than $2,000 worth of damage, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

Rapper Rick Ross had to put up $2 Million & his 5.8 million mansion just to get Bail
Rick Ross has been released from jail one week after being arrested for kidnapping and aggravated assault. The rapper was initially being held without bail in a Fayette County jail until his court appearance, scheduled for July 1. It appears the judge has had a change of heart.
According to TMZ, Ross’ lawyer appeared alongside him in court early July 1 to argue that his client should be granted the option to pay his way out of jail. He also assured the judge that, should he be released, Ross would not intimidate any witnesses in the case. He promised that the Maybach Music Group founder would hand over his 109-room mansion, purchased for $5.8 million in February 2014, if it was found that he had. The judge agreed, setting the “War Ready” rapper’s bail at a hefty $2 million.
Ross borrowed $1 million in equity from his massive estate, $500,000 from a bail bondsman and handed over $500,000 of his own money. After the debt was paid he was released from police custody, but he’s not off the hook just yet. The 39-year-old will be wearing a GPS ankle monitoring device for an undisclosed amount of time. Both the kidnapping and aggravated assault charges still stand.
Ross is accused of having had an altercation with a grounds keeper, which turned violent. According to reports the rapper confronted the maintenance worker, who lives on the property, about guests he’d invited over the night before. Ross is said to have dragged the man into him home where he locked him in a spare bedroom and assaulted him. According to the Associated Press, he is accused of pistol whipping the grounds keeper, causing severe injury to both his neck and jaw and chipping two teeth.
Ross has not yet broken his social media silence following his release. It has not been announced when he will stand before the judge again to learn his fate.

L.A. district attorney’s office declines to charge Diddy for UCLA confrontation….#mustbenice
The Los Angeles County district attorney’s office declined to file felony charges against hip hop mogul
Sean “Diddy” Combs, it was announced on Thursday.
Combs was arrested June 20 at UCLA’s athletics facilities for a charge of assault with a deadly weapon, which was a kettlebell. He was also charged with one count of making terrorist threats and one count of battery. Diddy’s son, Justin Combs, is a defensive back on the Bruins’ football team.
DA spokesman Ricardo Santiago said his office has decided to turn the case over to the Los Angeles city attorney’s office, where lesser misdemeanor charges could be considered.
Combs, 45, said in a statement released June 24 that he was defending himself and his son.
“The various accounts of the event and charges that are being reported are wholly inaccurate,” a representatives for Combs Enterprises said. “What we can say now is that any actions taken by Mr. Combs were solely defensive in nature to protect himself and his son.”
The incident involved UCLA strength and conditioning coach and former New York Jets staffer Sal Alosi but details of the altercation were not made clear.
UCLA has denied a USA TODAY Sports request through the state’s public record laws for any video footage of the dispute.
“I’m thankful that our staff showed the level of professionalism that they did in handling this situation,” UCLA coach Jim Mora said in a statement issued through the school. “This is an unfortunate incident for all parties involved. While UCPD continues to review this matter, we will let the legal process run its course and refrain from further comment at this time.”
