Walmart bans woman who rode cart while drinking wine from Pringles can
Police in Texas received a strange call on Friday that involved a woman drinking wine in the parking lot of a Walmart.
According to USA Today, employees at the store in Wichita Falls had asked officers to ban the woman after she had been drinking wine from a Pringles can for several hours as she rode around on an electric cart.
The incident reportedly began just after 9 a.m., when officers received a call about a suspicious person in the parking lot.
The woman was reportedly riding around on an electric shopping cart that’s generally used by people with physical limitations.
She was also drinking wine from a Pringles can, according to USA Today.
Police said they were told that the woman had been riding around the parking lot since 6:30 a.m. while drinking the wine.
When officers arrived, they found the woman at a nearby restaurant and notified her that she’d been banned from the Walmart.

Amazon drops $25 free shipping minimum for all US holiday shoppers
Amazon, Target, Walmart, and others are fighting hard for your holiday dollars.
Amazon’s latest perk will be available not just for its Prime members but for all holiday shoppers this year. The online retailer announced that starting today, November 5, all US-based Amazon customers can get free shipping with no minimum purchase amount. While the perk lasts only for a “limited time,” Amazon explains that the promotion will affect orders that arrive in time for the Christmas holiday.
Typically, Amazon imposes a $25 minimum order amount for non-Prime members to get free shipping. This promotion waives that minimum for the time being and puts Amazon in step with competitor Target, which waived its $35 order minimum and now offers free two-day shipping to all customers through December 22. Walmart, arguably Amazon’s biggest competitor in the US, has kept its $35 minimum threshold for free shipping for this holiday season (so far, at least).
Amazon is trying to capture as much of the holiday shopping market as possible as it faces growing competition from the likes of Target, Walmart, and other retailers. Amazon already offers free two-day shipping to its Prime members as a standard benefit, but those customers pay $120 annually for Prime. Amazon raised the price of a Prime membership by $20 earlier this year.
Removing the minimum order amount could convince non-Prime members to shop at Amazon more this holiday season than they might have previously. Amazon has the advantage of inventory, with millions of items eligible for free shipping, while Target and Walmart have thousands. Also, Amazon’s shipping and delivery infrastructure is much larger than that of any other US retailer (Target and Walmart have been expanding and striking up partnerships in order to better match Amazon’s delivery system).
However, Target and Walmart have many more brick-and-mortar locations than Amazon does, even with Whole Foods’ locations counting in Amazon’s favor. Both retailers use their thousands of locations to their advantage by offering services like curbside pickup for grocery orders and special in-store promotions.
Amazon instituted a number of promotions and discounts at Whole Foods after it purchased the specialty grocer for $13.7 billion last year, but most of those deals are for Prime members only. As far as other brick-and-mortar stores go, Amazon has a bookstore, top-rated items stores, and cashierless Amazon Go convenience stores across the country, but the number of physical locations pales in comparison to traditional retailers. Amazon likely hopes that offering free shipping with no strings attached to all will convince more people to do most of their holiday shopping online.

White woman calls cops on black man babysitting white kids
A white woman reportedly called the cops on a black man she saw babysitting two white children at a Georgia Walmart.
Corey Lewis, who runs a youth-mentoring program in Atlanta, used Facebook Live to film his interaction with a Cobb County police officer responding to the woman’s call about the girl and boy he was babysitting Sunday.
Lewis explained to the officer that he is the kids’ babysitter — that he’d taken them to eat dinner at the Subway in Walmart and then stopped to get some gas — which is when the woman, who’d been following them, approached.
The woman asked Lewis if she could speak to the girl, to see if she knew who he was — and he refused, Lewis recounted to the cop. That’s when she called the cops and then followed Lewis all the way home, he said.
“All because I got two kids in the back seat who do not look like me, this lady took it upon herself to say that she’s going to take my plate down and call the police,” Lewis said in another Facebook video. “It’s crazy … It’s 2018 and this is what I’ve got to deal with.”
The kids, a 10-year-old girl and a 6-year-old boy, confirmed to the officer that Lewis was their after-school teacher and babysitter.
Their parents, David Parker and Dana Mango, were shocked when they were called by the police to confirm the story, telling local outlet CBS46 that they believe Lewis was stalked and harassed for “babysitting while black.”
“I said, ‘Are you saying that because there’s an African American male driving my two white kids, that he was stopped and pulled over and questioned?’ and he said, ‘I’m sorry, ma’am, that’s exactly what I’m saying,’” the mother told the station.

Florida Woman Buys Computer, Other Electronics for $3.70 at Walmart After Allegedly Swapping Barcodes
A Florida woman is accused of paying only $3.70 for nearly $2,000 worth of electronics after she allegedly swapped barcodes at a local Walmart, according to KTLA sister station WPIX in New York. Cheyenne Amber West and another woman entered the store and began taking video game controllers, a computer and other items from the electronics department, a Walmart loss prevention officer said.
The two then allegedly went to the clearance section, where they took out the devices from their boxes and placed clearance price tags on them.
The pair then proceeded to a self-checkout counter, where they allegedly scanned the clearance barcodes and paid a total of $3.70. The electronics cost a total $1,825.20.
According to the arrest affidavit, the 25-year-old said, “I am just trying to get gifts for my son that I cannot afford. The computer is for my husband. Since he just got me a Coach purse, I figured he deserved something nice as well.”
West has been charged with felony grand theft and shoplifting, according to the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office.
She was released from jail after paying her $3,000 posted bond and is scheduled to appear in court Dec. 13.
Woman Pulls Gun During Fight in Michigan Walmart’s Back-to-School Aisle – Over a Notebook
NOVI, Mich. (WJBK) – Shoppers at a Walmart in Novi, Mich. were in for some frightening moments as they witnessed a woman pull out a loaded gun Monday afternoon. Police say the gun was pulled out during a fight over school supplies.
“It was in the back to school section over a notebook,” says Novi Police Det. Scott Baetens.
Novi officers say two Farmington Hills women, ages 32 and 46, were inside the Novi Towne Center Walmart, shopping for school supplies. Apparently, so was a 20-year-old South Lyon woman and her mother, 51.
“One girl was going to buy a notebook. There was one left, some pushing resulted,” Baetens says. “They began to argue who was the rightful purchaser of that notebook.”
Both duos of women were not backing down, as police and witnesses described the two women pulling the younger woman’s hair. That mother got shoved out of the way as the three continued to fight. That mother then pulled out a gun.
“She’s a valid CPL holder,” Baetens says. “She pulled out her firearm and tells them to stop attacking her daughter while pointing the gun at them.”
The fight quickly ended as customers were seen running away and police were called.
“It was a senseless act of violence all the way around,” Baetens says.
Novi police say they need more witnesses to come forward as they work to get surveillance video from the Walmart to get a closer look at what happened. Police spoke with prosecutors, who hope to determine who the aggressors were and if the woman, in fact, pulled the gun in self defense. Those four women are all facing possible charges.
“A simple assault could be just a local ordinance, a 90-day misdemeanor,” Baetens says. “All the way up to felonious assault with a firearm, which is a felony.”
Police say the gun was loaded but no round was in the chamber. No one was hurt.
In the end, Baetens says he’s unsure who got the notebook.
EBRSO: Woman left son at Walmart to have sex
If you can’t take care of you; yourself keep or find a job, can’t pay your bills then why? Just why would you get knocked up and have not one but seven children by seven different men?
Of course the family is blaming mental health issues well then if you knew this WHY didn’t you as her so called FAMILY intervene sooner? Why is it that no one stepped to protect her baby when they saw the police come to the home? I see that one family member stepped in and took the other six children there’s only so much you can do. What I really wanna know is why in the hell would you this supposedly mentally ill woman to petition the court to get her children back when clearly she is not in her right mind. I tell you the court system is fucked up backwards! I HATE Walmart I truly do!

Woman bites off Walmart worker’s finger after stealing condoms, police say
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) – Myrtle Beach police have arrested a woman who they say bit off part of a finger of a Wal-Mart worker during an altercation.
Local media outlets cite a police report which said store security tried to stop a woman who they say was concealing merchandise on Sunday, but an altercation ensued.
According to police, the woman punched one worker, then bit another worker’s finger. A customer tried to call 911 on her cell phone, but the woman took it and grabbed the customer by the hair.
The suspect fled the store and got into a van, but the van’s path was blocked, and police arrived soon after.
Police say 23-year-old Carolyn Wright faces assault and battery charges. She’s jailed on $51,000 bond. It’s not known if she has an attorney.
Walmart, Amazon stir controversy with Halloween Israeli soldier children’s costume
Racism; hate is thought so why would Walmart; Amazon agree to sell this RACIST Costume? I know because they support the prison industrial complex and they probably racist.
From CBS News– Some people are questioning what Walmart and Amazon were intending when they listed a child-sized Israeli Army soldier’s uniform as a Halloween costume, but it’s now inciting some strong social media controversy.
According to a report from CBS News, critics are claiming the retailers are sending the wrong message by selling the costume, which features olive-green pants and jacket with Hebrew writing, as well as red beret. Neither Walmart nor Amazon immediately returned a request for comment.
With Halloween only days away, the costume is stirring up strong feelings among critics on social media.
The retailers are selling the costume as a fun option for children just as violence between Palestinians and Israel’s government has been mounting. Despite an agreement brokered over the weekend by the U.S., violence between Israelis and Palestinians continued on Sunday and Monday, according to The Washington Post, which cited “lethal reprisals” from Israel in response to Palestinian attacks.
As of Tuesday morning, Amazon had more than 100 reviews of the costume, with most of them giving the item one star and highlighting their views of Israeli military….

Children of the cornbread UPDATE!! Bibb NAACP asking for release, reduced charges for Walmart suspects
I don’t feel bad for these kids they have been cussing me out on my video all weekend long,
if you’re grown enough to do the crime, then sit yo ass down and do the time, now with that being said they should get no more than 3-6mths in bootcamp
after all no one was killed or hurt thank God!
The Macon-Bibb County Branch of the NAACP says the charges against five people arrested for vandalism at a Macon Walmart are too severe.
Gwenette Westbrooks, president of the organization, said the parents of the suspects reached out to her asking for help.
The five are charged with felonies including rioting, damage to property, and street gang activity. They all remain in jail.
“Their bonds are too high,” Westbrooks said in a telephone interview with 13WMAZ. “We’re asking for their bonds to be reduced and we’re asking for them to be released … they’re not being treated fairly.
“It’s not gang related,” Westbrooks added. “Just because more than three people are together doesn’t mean they’re in a gang.”
The bond for Kharron Nathan Green, 17, is set at $11,200, according to the county jail website. Twenty-year-old Lekelvin Lamont Renfroe’s bond is set at $5,900. Bonds have not been set for Hajj-Malik Markaveli Renfrone, 18, Vashaun Chandler Rozier, 18, and a 16-year-old juvenile.
Dozens more are expected to be arrested in the case in which 40 to 50 teens stormed the Zebulon Road Walmart after midnight on June 28 running down aisles and pulling merchandise off of the shelves.
They caused more than $2,000 worth of damage, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.
