Woman orders food, tells server ‘this one’s on God’ before fleeing
LAS CRUCES, N.M. — A New Mexico woman is facing charges after police say she ordered food from a Sonic and told a server, “This one’s on God,” before fleeing.
The Las Cruces Sun-News reports 30-year-old Delila Hernandez was arrested Monday in a felony robbery case.
Police say Hernandez rode her bicycle to a Sonic in Las Cruces and ordered a meal. When the server asked for payment, she allegedly told him, “This one’s on God.”
Police say the server told her, “That’s not how this works,” but gave her the meal after she came toward him.
Police later found Hernandez at a nearby park.
It was not known if Hernandez had an attorney who could comment on the allegations.
Authorities say her charges may be reduced.

Woman let bandits into home so they could rob her husband
A Brooklyn man’s estranged wife set him up to be robbed by three masked thieves in a violent home-invasion robbery, police and sources said.
The 41-year-old man was in his apartment on Livonia Avenue near Mother Gaston Boulevard in Brownsville at about 2:40 p.m. on Saturday when his wife stopped by to pick up a bag of her clothes, cops said.
The man went to the bathroom, and when he came out, he saw her holding the door open for three men with bandannas covering their faces, police sources said.
One of the men was holding a black handgun, the sources said. The trio of robbers then punched and kicked the man, while his estranged wife shouted: “Look under the bed!” police sources said.
The robbers grabbed a lockbox with about $550 in cash from underneath the bed, cops said.
“That’s what you get for f–king with me,” the woman shouted at her husband before she and the robbers ran out of the apartment, police sources said.
“Love hurts,” a police source said.
The woman has not been caught, but police are searching for her, authorities said.

Mother left naked toddler in bathroom during dollar store robbery
Ohio police arrested a mother on Tuesday after she allegedly tried to rob a dollar store while her 1-year-old daughter was left unattended in the bathroom, reports said.
According to Fox 8, Mary Waguespack was at a Dollar General in Alliance when she allegedly attempted to make off with nearly $100 worth of store merchandise while her daughter was alone. She tried to flee the scene through the fire exit but tripped an alarm, Cleveland 19 News reported.
The little girl eventually escaped from the bathroom and was running around the store naked during her mother’s alleged heist, according to a police report obtained by the outlet. The girl was eventually “corralled” by Waguespack, 36, Cleveland 19 News said.
Officers reportedly apprehended Waguespack and charged her with petty theft and endangering a child. The endangerment charge was raised to a fourth degree felony due to a previous child endangerment conviction in 2012, Fox 8 reported.
The little girl was reportedly picked up by Waguespack’s husband, whom she was divorcing, while the mother was brought to jail, the outlet said. Child services were notified of the incident, Fox 8 reported.
11-year-old getaway driver busted with 10 teens in violent crime spree
A group of 11 juveniles, including a suspected 11-year-old getaway driver, were arrested after three high-speed pursuits stemming from a series of violent robberies, carjackings and burglaries in California, police said.
San Jose police announced Wednesday that the male and female suspects — ranging in age from 11 to 17 years old — were booked into Santa Clara County Juvenile Hall on charges of armed robbery, carjacking, possession of a stolen vehicle, reckless driving and resisting arrest.
The suspects are accused of committing more than a dozen robberies, carjackings and burglaries, including some at gunpoint, over the weekend in San Jose. The alleged spree started at 11 p.m. Friday, when a woman was carjacked, and continued for the next six hours, the Mercury News reports.
At least 15 victims have been identified, according to the newspaper, and investigators believe there may be others who have yet to contact police.
“I have a lot of concern about the rise of juvenile crime in the city, and the violent crime that has been occurring,” San Jose Police Chief Eddie Garcia told the newspaper. “We’re not talking about graffiti or knocking down garbage cans or having loud parties. These are adult crimes. These are not kids crimes.”
Investigators are still working to piece the alleged crime spree together. The suspected drivers in the high-speed pursuits with cops were ages 11, 14 and 17, police said.
The rash of crime marked the second high-profile arrest of a group of teens in San Jose in as many months, according to the newspaper. Police in October arrested an 18-year-old man along with four minors after a 12-hour crime spree that allegedly included a homeowner shot during a botched burglary, several home invasions and a carjacking.
“This is happening almost every other week,” Lt. Paul Joseph told the newspaper. “It’s different groups and different kids each time. Another group springs up as soon as we arrest the last group.”
