Rihanna said it: ‘This Is the Loudest Way to Make Your Voice Heard.’
If Rihanna said it, you know what time it is!
Although Rihanna seems like she’s on the fast track to world domination with her wildly popular (and very inclusive) beauty and fashion lines, philanthropy work, her forthcoming music project (at least, what fans hope is forthcoming), and her general slayage of us all, it appears that the bad girl has still found time to prioritize encouraging political engagement.
Rihanna took to her Instagram on Tuesday morning to urge her American followers to register to vote because October 9th is the last day in 14 states — Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, New Mexico, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Texas — for citizens to register to vote. In the caption of her post, Ri encouraged her followers to take initiative to make the kind of change they wanted to see in the world by voting.
“I don’t care what responsibilities you have today, there’s no greater responsibility than being in control of your future and your future starts now!” she wrote. “We don’t have time, no procrastinating, don’t let the discouragement take you off course, that’s not how my people or my generation will go down…this is the loudest way to make your voice heard!”
This isn’t the first time that Rihanna has made a statement about American politics despite being unable to vote in the U.S. herself, being from Barbados; she had previously spoken out against President Donald Trump immigration travel ban and seemingly threw her support behind Hillary Clinton by wearing a meta t-shirt with Clinton’s face on it on Election Day in 2016.

Rihanna appointed as ambassador by Barbados
Singer Rihanna has said she “couldn’t be more proud” after being given a new ambassadorial role by the government of Barbados.
The artist, whose full name is Robyn Rihanna Fenty, was named “Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary” for her home country on Thursday.
The role involves promoting education, tourism and investment.
Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley said she was honoured to confer the title.
“Rihanna has a deep love for this country and this is reflected in her philanthropy, especially in the areas of health and education. She also shows her patriotism in the way she gives back to this country and continues to treasure the island as her home,” the prime minister said in a statement.
“She has also demonstrated, beyond her success as a pop icon, significant creative acumen and shrewdness in business. It is therefore fitting that we engage and empower her to play a more definitive role as we work to transform Barbados.”
Rihanna is one of the best-selling singers of all time, with 250 million record sales globally. She has also enjoyed success as an actress and fashion designer, and launched a widely-praised makeup collection last year.
The singer was born in Saint Michael in Barbados, and grew up in the capital, Bridgetown.
She lived there until her teen years when she was discovered by an American record producer, who helped her break into the US charts.
Last year a street she used to live on was renamed Rihanna Drive in her honour.
In a statement accepting her new role, the singer (who is now described as Ambassador Fenty by the Barbados government) said she “couldn’t be more proud to take on such a prestigious title” in her home country.
“Every Barbadian is going to have to play their role in this current effort, and I’m ready and excited to take on the responsibility. I look forward to working with Prime Minister Mottley and her team to re-imagine Barbados.”

Rihanna’s sexy new lingerie line is here
Rih fans, rejoice: Rihanna’s much-awaited lingerie line, Savage x Fenty, has finally arrived.
The line, which Rihanna partnered with TechStyle Fashion Group to produce, dropped online late Thursday night at SavageX.com. Its 90 styles span a wide range of sizes intended to “[celebrate] all shades and shapes,” according to the brand’s website. (It’s similar to the mission of her popular Fenty Beauty line, which is heralded for its wide range of shades.) Prices start at $14.50 and cap at $99.
“We’ve been working on this for a few years now, believe it or not,” the singer told the crowd at her launch Thursday night, held at Villain in Williamsburg. As she stood on stage, a larger-than-life hologram in her likeness strutted around her, modeling various items from the collection. “Finally, after all this time, I cannot believe that everybody’s going to be able to have their hands all in it.”
The collection includes four categories: “On the Reg,” which features not-so-basic basics such as T-shirt bras and briefs; “U Cute,” which consists of feminine lace pieces; “Damn,” which ups the sexy ante with frisky garters and sheer corsets; and “Black Widow,” which gets naughty with the likes of cupless bras and sheer bodysuits.
In tune with the brand’s size-inclusive, shade-inclusive mission, the campaign is shown on models of different races and body types. “I think RiRi is, truly, starting a revolution,” one of the posers, Stella Duval, tells The Post in an email. “She is changing the way people view beauty. She is lighting the barrier between ‘plus-size’ and ‘straight-size’ — she is making us equals.”
Rihanna hopes her fans — all of them — love it just as much.
“Tell all your friends, your cousins, your sisters, your girlfriends and your ex-girlfriends, too,” she told the crowd Thursday. “Because Savage is for everybody, regardless.”

LeBron James, Kim Kardashian West, Rihanna and other Celebrities rally to free Cyntoia Brown, a former sex slave jailed for killing the man who bought her
Celebrities and people around the world are campaigning for the release of a Nashville woman who was convicted to life in prison for fatally shooting a man she was sold to for sex as a teenager.
Cyntoia Brown, 29, was sentenced to life in prison for killing a man who hired her for sex back in 2004, when she was 16 years old.
Brown claims that 43-year-old real estate agent Johnny Allen took her to his home for sex, but she felt threatened when she got there and fatally shot him, something she later admitted to.
Prosecutors claimed Brown shot Allen to steal from him. She was tried as an adult and found guilty of murder and prostitution with eligibility for parole after she turns 69.
While in prison, Brown earned her G.E.D, associates degree, and is said to be aiming for a bachelor’s degree.
Celebrities like LeBron James, Kim Kardashian West and Rihanna have taken to social media using the hashtag #FreeCyntoiaBrown hoping to raise awareness about her conviction.
“Did we somehow change the definition of #JUSTICE along the way?? Cause…..something is horribly wrong when the system enables these rapists and the victim is thrown away for life! To each of you responsible for this child’s sentence I hope to God you don’t have children, because this could be your daughter being punished for punishing already!” Rihanna wrote on Instagram.
Rihanna Blocks Fan who photoshopped an Image of Ri Ri as a white woman
Why would any white person in the right mind find it okay to Photoshop a BLACK celebrity making them white then post it to Twitter? I have come to the conclusion that (SOME) white folks REALLY do think LIGHT BRIGHT AND VERY WHITE IS RIGHT;the straighter our hair the better. Rihanna was very insulted by this white fans disrespect needless to say the fan was BLOCKED and she was left wondering what she had done to offend Rihanna.
If you ask me the white bitch doesn’t really care she just an social media attention whore I guess getting any type of attention good, bad and ugly gets you 15 secs of Internet fame. She really thinks she’s done nothing wrong can you blame her? This white woman ; others who look and think like her is just as whitewashed as the next Negro. For white (people of color) people to really except that people of color are in ALL shades of brown the mainstream media needs to start embracing DARK skin woman with are naturally kinky hair and styles that our unique to us in magazines, TV commercials, local News…. when white people see a DARK skin hand; feet models showing off the latest nail polish; showing a Diamond ring from Kay jeweler on the hand of a DARK skinned couple then things might be a little bit different.
