Police Fatally Shoot Man Who Ignored Orders. He Was Deaf
Police fatally shot a 35-year-old deaf man Tuesday night in Oklahoma City while neighbors screamed at officers that the man couldn’t hear their commands, the New York Daily News reports.
Police say Magdiel Sanchez’s father was behind the wheel of a car that hit an object and didn’t stop. When officers arrived at his home to investigate, they found Sanchez—who had not been in the car with his father—on the porch.
Police say Sanchez was holding a metal pipe (officers originally called it a stick). According to NBC News, a neighbor says Sanchez, who was deaf and used notes to communicate, often carried the pipe to ward off stray dogs during nighttime walks.
Officers told Sanchez to drop the pipe and get on the ground. He couldn’t hear them.
As Sanchez walked toward officers, neighbors screamed that he “can’t hear you.” Capt.
Bo Mathews says it’s possible officers didn’t hear the neighbors. “When you have a weapon out, you can get what they call tunnel vision, or you can lock into just the person who has the weapon, the threat against you,” Mathews says.
Lt. Matthew Lindsey fired a Taser at Sanchez while Sgt. Christopher Barnes fired his gun, KOCO reports. The officers were about 15 feet away from Sanchez at the time.
Mathews says Barnes fired “more than one” shot at Sanchez. According to the Washington Post, it’s unclear why Barnes used his gun instead of a Taser.
Neither officer was wearing a body camera. Barnes has been placed on leave. Sanchez, who died at the scene, had no criminal history.
Cop accused of paying teen for sex, taking back money at gun point
GLEN BURNIE, Md. — A Washington police officer is facing a string of charges in Maryland after authorities say he paid a 15-year-old girl for sex and then took back the money at gunpoint.
Anne Arundel County police said 27-year-old Chukwuemeka Ekwonna of Glenn Dale was arrested Thursday and charged with armed robbery, assault, third-degree sex offense, reckless endangerment, prostitution and a weapon offense.
Court documents show the teen recently told officials that she was robbed by a man she met through social media and offered her $80 for sex. They met in January and after they had sex, she says the man, later identified as Ekwonna, pointed a gun at her and demanded his money back.
Police in Washington say Ekwonna was fired Friday. No attorney is listed in online court records.

Terence Clutcher and Keith Lamont Scott
It looks like a repeat of the week of the 4th of July again. Within the span of two days two black men have been shot and killed for nothing other than being black.
Let’s start with Terence Clutcher a man who had car trouble and called the police for assistance, no gun, no “resistance” and yet in still the man was shot and killed in cold blood. Then the media has the nerve to say “he looks like a bad guy” or “he’s a big dude”. Wow sorry the a person who’s big is down right intimidating to the point where you need a gun. If you’re that terrified as a police officer you need to change careers asap.
Now let’s move on to Keith Lamont Scott. Yet another black man who once again was doing nothing wrong, waiting on his daughter but was shot and killed and it was all because of mistaken identity. Once again the usual steps are taken, paid administrative leave and a possible acquittal. Seriously you know it’s bad when you can play stuff like this out to a T.
I also find it amazing how a lot of people have a problem with people not sing the national anthem or pledge but turn around and have the audacity to make excuses for these cop killings. If you want to turn and blind eye to the killings of unarmed black men the I’ll be glad to turn a blind eye to the national anthem and the pledge. Something has to give. This madness has to stop one way or another but until then the pledge and national anthem can kick rocks.
Man Killed By Police In Connecticut Dispute
A man in Fairfield, Connecticut was shot and killed by police this Tuesday morning after a call was received stating he was attacking his family.
The incident occurred at around 6:00 a.m. this morning after police were called about domestic dispute. A child in the home managed to escape the home and was able to call 911. Police soon arrived and found that the suspects wife and children had wounds on them that appeared to be from slicking and stabbing and blunt force trauma. The suspect was soon shot and killed by police.
Of the three victims, the man’s wife and one of his children are listed in critical condition and are now hospitalized. The family has not been identified.
Despite the loss of the this woman’s husband and the children’s father, it sounds relieving to hear that these people are out of harms way from this man. Hopefully they’ll make a full recovery and are able to move on from this situation.

Okay this Mr James who has an invisible disability parked his car in the disable section in front of Walgreens sooo what does officer Michelin black man do? He gets out his car confront this James who has an invisible disability remember now they both black. As I watched this YouTube video I found myself yelling at Officer Michelin black man. To make matters worse he done knocked the disabled veteran phone right out of his hand and cracks the phone LAWD wtf? So Isaiah calls the cops on his broke ass cell phone while the police are on their way these two fools continue arguing whether he’s disabled or not MAAAAAN this video could be an episode of The Boondocks!!! Thank GOD Mr. James wasn’t shot or killed for something as stupid as whether he was handicapped enough to parking in a handicapped parking spot. I agree Mr. James this was horse shit and a half! LOL Maybe officer Michelin man needs to quit his job and work at Krispy Kreme!
