Blac chyna donates to orphanage in Nigeria
America’s socialite and baby mama of Rob Kardashian has donated some items to an orphanage in Nigeria after the launch of her skin whitening products.
The mother of two paid a visit to the BAB-ES-SALAM orphanage in Lagos, Nigeria and donated some food items to them.
She posted a video on her Instagram page with the caption; “Visiting BAB-ES-SALAM orphanage was a fulfilling experience in Lagos, Nigeria. It was amazing to see the apparent open hearts and to hear about the children’s dreams. It left me filled with emotions, their excitement was an amazing feeling and a humbling experience. I can’t wait to visit again”.
However, some celebrities were against the launch of Blac Chyna’s skin whitening products and advised Nigerians to boycott the launch.
The celebrities included Ghanaian-British musician, Fuse ODG and Nigerian Singer Burna Boy.
They advised Africans to be proud of their dark skin and not apply any cosmetics to their body to make them lighter or bleach them with the primitive notion that it will make them more beautiful.
Well, it’s obvious this didn’t stop Blac Chyna from launching her products and also embarking on a charity project.

40 killed in armed bandit attack in northwest Nigeria
MAIDGURI, Nigeria — Armed bandits attacked a village in Nigeria’s northwest Kaduna state, killing at least 40 people, residents and officials said.
Police Inspector General Ibrahim Idris confirmed the bandits invaded the village of Gwaska Saturday, fighting local defense forces protecting the Birnin Gwari local government area, a community of about 3,000 people. He said 200 policemen and 10 patrol vehicles were deployed to the scene.
A resident who helped fight the bandits said at least 40 people were killed and the toll will likely climb. He spoke on condition of anonymity for security reasons. He said the attackers were from Zamfara state, and that they shot at children and torched houses as residents fled.
The attack came about a week after other unidentified gunmen attacked a nearby village.
The Kaduna State government confirmed the attack but didn’t give a casualty figure.
In a statement, the local government said it is concerned by the incessant banditry attacks in the region and has been engaging with the federal government on the matter.
“The Kaduna State Government has received with sadness reports of the murder of our citizens by armed bandits in Birnin Gwari,” it said, adding that it is committed to resolving the problem.
President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the establishment of a permanent battalion of the Nigerian Army in the Birnin Gwari area.
The State Emergency Management Agency is providing aid to those affected, it said.

Happy Independence Day Nigeria!
As My Nigerian Brothers And Sister Already Know
on October 1,1960, the flag of British Colonial Nigeria was lowered and a new flag was raised. After a century of British influence, the region we know today as Nigeria became a commonwealth realm. As a result, this solidified the new country a sovereign state, and granted it the same political status as all other countries.
Though 1960 is generally celebrated as the birth year of Nigeria, it wasn’t until 1963 that the rule of monarchy was abolished and the Federal Republic of Nigeria was born.
Today we celebrate this diverse nation and its glorious green and white flag. Happy Independence Day, Nigeria!
