An elderly woman got the last word after locking a police officer in her basement, and later suing the police.
Venus Green, who was 87 when she was handcuffed, roughed up and injured by police, will receive $95,000 as part of a settlement with Baltimore City. The city chose to settle the case instead of taking a chance in front of a jury.
“We thought we would have a difficult time in front of a city jury, or any jury,” Baltimore City solicitor George Nilson said.
Green was so put out by what police officers did, the city said she locked one of them in her basement…..

All-you-can-eat pancakes incite fight at Oak Lawn Denny’s
I don’t even like pancakes but this story caught my attention so baby girl 27 Natasha West took advantage of the all you can eat $4 pancakes at Denny’s and started sharing them at table with her friends (who probably I hope had some green eggs and ham to go wit them pancakes) well WTF (Why The Fuck) did she do that? Well the Waitress got all up in her feelings and said HEEEEEEL NAW; a fight broke out with Natasha they had syrup, butter; $4 pancakes flying everywhere as you may have already figured out the police was called; Natasha went to jail; was charged with assault and damage to property. Was it that big of a deal Waitress lady? BTW I like waffles.

Walmart, Amazon stir controversy with Halloween Israeli soldier children’s costume
Racism; hate is thought so why would Walmart; Amazon agree to sell this RACIST Costume? I know because they support the prison industrial complex and they probably racist.
From CBS News– Some people are questioning what Walmart and Amazon were intending when they listed a child-sized Israeli Army soldier’s uniform as a Halloween costume, but it’s now inciting some strong social media controversy.
According to a report from CBS News, critics are claiming the retailers are sending the wrong message by selling the costume, which features olive-green pants and jacket with Hebrew writing, as well as red beret. Neither Walmart nor Amazon immediately returned a request for comment.
With Halloween only days away, the costume is stirring up strong feelings among critics on social media.
The retailers are selling the costume as a fun option for children just as violence between Palestinians and Israel’s government has been mounting. Despite an agreement brokered over the weekend by the U.S., violence between Israelis and Palestinians continued on Sunday and Monday, according to The Washington Post, which cited “lethal reprisals” from Israel in response to Palestinian attacks.
As of Tuesday morning, Amazon had more than 100 reviews of the costume, with most of them giving the item one star and highlighting their views of Israeli military….

Assistant Principal Removed From Job After Appearing In Trey Songz’s ‘Best Friend’ Video

Assistant principal Esther Adler-O’Keefe has been removed from her position at Southampton High School in New York state, apparently due to her appearance in a J.R. and Trey Songz video.
In an email provided to The Huffington Post, Dr. Scott Farina, superintendent, addressed Adler-O’Keefe’s removal and reassignment in a districtwide email to parents on Oct. 13, 2015.
“Esther Adler-O’Keefe will take on new responsibilities with the district,” wrote Dr. Farina. “Ms. Adler-O’Keefe will oversee a variety of academic support services throughout the district.”
Farina added that Susan Wright, previously assistant principal at the district’s elementary school, would assume Adler-O’Keefe’s assistant principal…

“I misplaced $60,000,” 50-year-old Tony Harris wrote on his Facebook page Oct. 5, with a photo of his wife, Amber Crane, holding four large stacks of money. “I hope my wife didn’t go shopping with it.”

Umpqua Community College (OCC) 10 10 DEAD
BREAKING NEWS UMPQUA COUMMUNITY COLLEGE
Preliminary information indicates 10 people were killed and more than 20 others injured in a shooting at Oregon’s Umpqua Community College on Thursday, said Oregon State Police spokesman Bill Fugate.

Douglas County Commissioner Chris Boice told CNN that the shooter is in custody. It was not immediately clear whether the shooter was injured.
“We arrived to find multiple patients in multiple classrooms. Law enforcement was on scene and had the shooter neutralized,” Douglas County Fire Marshal Ray Shoufler told CNN.
He said that two patients died while being transported to a hospital……

Couple arrested for Ohio bank robbery after posting pictures to Facebook

ASHVILLE, Ohio — A couple was arrested in Ohio last week after they allegedly robbed a bank, then posted pictures of themselves with the wads of cash on Facebook.
John Mogan, 28, and Ashley Duboe, 24, are charged with the Aug. 24 robbery of Savings Bank in a town south of Columbus, Ohio.
Investigators said Mogan, a convicted felon who had just been released from prison a few months earlier for robbing another bank, walked into the bank and gave a note demanding money to a teller, who then handed over cash.
Mogan has numerous tattoos on his face and investigators said he put on makeup to cover them in an attempt to disguise himself.
