Jilted wife reportedly made cheating hubby get her name tattooed over his crotch
The South Carolina woman on trial for allegedly abducting her husband’s lover reportedly forced her spouse to get her own name tattooed above his crotch as payback for cheating.
Testimony in the kidnapping trial against Tammy Moorer revealed Monday that the jilted wife was overheard explaining the bizarre “punishment” to her 38-year-old husband, Sidney Moorer.
Tammy is accused of conspiring to kidnap 20-year-old Heather Elvis, who mysteriously vanished in December 2013 from Myrtle Beach after having a sexual relationship with the defendant’s husband. Nearly five years later, the young hostess hasn’t been found and is presumed dead.
Prosecutors contend Tammy became vindictive after discovering the affair in October 2013 and hearing rumors about the possibility that Elvis was pregnant.
Jacob Melton, who was friends with one of the Moorers’ sons, testified Monday that Sidney got Tammy’s name tattooed on his lower waist when she learned about the extramarital affair.
“If you didn’t have that thing with that girl, this wouldn’t be happening,” Tammy allegedly told her husband, according to Melton’s testimony.
As the trial entered its seventh day Monday, Elvis’ former employer also provided testimony.
Dennis Clark, a former manager at the Tilted Kilt — the bar where Sidney performed maintenance work and met Elvis — said Tammy demanded on the phone that the hostess be fired or her husband wouldn’t continue to do repairs.
Clark claimed the conversation occurred sometime between October and December 2013.
“Tammy barged into the conversation and proceeded to tell me how Heather was causing problems for her family, spreading rumors that she was pregnant by her husband and [said] to fire her,” Clark told the court.
The defense team maintained Monday that the evidence in the trial shows there was an affair but doesn’t indicate that Tammy played any role in Elvis’ disappearance.
Both Tammy and Sidney have been charged in connection to Elvis’ case. The pair initially faced murder and kidnapping allegations in 2014, but two years later the murder charges were dropped.
Sidney was tried last year on the kidnapping charge, but the proceedings ended in a mistrial when the jurors couldn’t come to a unanimous decision. No future date has been set for his retrial.
In 2017, he was sentenced to 10 years in prison for obstruction of justice in the case.
Trio charged in killing of teen found sexually mutilated, burned
Three people have been charged in the murder of a Missouri teen whose body was found burned and sexually mutilated.
Police charged a man and two women Thursday in the killing of 17-year-old Joseph Steinfeld, the Houston Herald reported. The suspects were identified as Andrew Vrba, 18; Isis Schauer, 18; and Briana Calderas, 24.
All three were charged with first-degree murder and abandonment of a corpse. Vrba and his girlfriend, Isis Schauer, were also slapped with armed criminal action charges.
The break in the case came when police discovered the female suspects had messaged each other on Facebook about the murder.
Vrba confessed to officers that he stabbed the teen to death and burned his body with the help of the women.
The female suspects told police that Vrba had bragged about sexually mutilating the teen and gouging his eyes out, according to the Houston Herald.
“It is a grisly terrible series of heinous acts by the accused,” Texas County Prosecutor Parke Stevens Jr. told the Houston Herald.
All three suspects are being held without bail.

Body of pregnant teen found in suitcase on side of road
The body of a pregnant teen from the Dominican Republic was discovered in a suitcase on the side of the road.
Police have confirmed that the remains found Friday were of 16-year-old Emely Peguero, who was five months pregnant, according to People.
Further examination revealed that Peguero had suffered a blunt blow to the head and her uterus was punctured, according to the Dominican Republic Attorney General’s Office. The mutilation to her uterus indicated she had an abortion, which is illegal in the country.
Her boyfriend Marlon Martinez, a U.S. citizen, was arrested after he allegedly confessed to dumping her body in a landfill. He told authorities that he panicked when she died from an abortion.
Authorities searched the landfill and did not find her body.
His mom Marlyn Martinez has also been detained in connection to her death. Before the body was found, she allegedly offered information to police on Peguero’s whereabouts and was arrested.
Authorities took into custody a third person whose identity has not been released.
The Martinez family has reportedly received threats since the arrests.
“While I agree that this is a horrendous tragedy, and my heart breaks for Emely and her family, it also breaks for Marlon, Marlyn and their family,” Criminal Justice Reform Advocate Leyla Martinez told People. “It hurts to see how people are calling for them to be stoned or lynched.”
A GoFundMe page was created to raise money for Peguero’s funeral.

Mother in custody after boy’s body found encased in concrete
The body of a missing three-year-old boy found in a concrete structure over the weekend has been tentatively identified as Evan Brewer, whose grandfather served two terms as mayor of Wichita, Kan.
In a statement Tuesday, Carl Brewer said he and his family “are devastated by the death of our sweet and loving grandson. We can not begin to make sense of this tragedy but are thankful the suspects are in custody.”
Wichita police Lt. Jeff Gilmore said investigators were waiting on the results of DNA tests before positively identifying the body. He declined to comment on the nature or size of the concrete structure, which he said was found by the property’s landlord Friday after he had served an eviction order.
Evan Brewer’s mother, 36-year-old Miranda Miller, was arrested Wednesday last week on suspicion of aggravated interference with parental custody. Miller’s boyfriend, 40-year-old Stephen Bodine, was arrested the same day on suspicion of aggravated assault and aggravated interference with parental custody.
Gilmore added that Kansas welfare officials had investigated reports that Evan was being abused earlier this year. In July, a protection from abuse order was issued to Evan’s father, Carlo Brewer, on the boy’s behalf. However, Gilmore said, authorities were unable to find Miller to serve the order to her.
The police spokesman said Miller had been “actively eluding police” and was thought to have left the state at one point.
Miller and Bodine are each being held on $25,000 bond. No charges have yet been filed in Evan’s death.
