Shea Moisture has  come under fire for a lack of diversity in their hair product ad.

Although I do believe that Shea did miss the mark on the commercial. To get this light bright and almost white ambiguous black woman. and showing a Red head and blond who NEVER in they white woman life has been turned away from a job or sent home from school or looked down upon because of their straight hair texture. It seems Shea Moisture forgets we black and brown folks are the biggest spenders on hair products. We DARK and Brown skin woman with type 4 a,b and C are under represented. Shea Moisture did issue an apology see below.

   Sometimes it’s good to WAIT and see. BEFORE we go on a selective outrage tantrum. And calling everyone who disagrees with you a name. BEFORE you troll the company responsible for the lack of representation. Do your own research. Shea Moisture can do better! It makes you wonder if they’re anyone of dark complexion working in the media department. As for me I don’t use Sha Moisture products.
