Audio found of Corey Feldman naming alleged sexual predators
California cops just found an audio recording of the 1993 interview in which Corey Feldman has said he identified alleged sexual predators — after police previously claimed the former child actor never named names, according to a report.
The revelation by the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office comes a month after the Los Angeles Police Department ended its probe into the “Stand By Me” star’s allegations of sexual abuse.
Feldman claimed in October that he had provided names of sexual predators in Hollywood to Santa Barbara County police in 1993 during their probe into Michael Jackson’s molestation charges.
The Sheriff’s Office at the time denied having any records of Feldman revealing such information — but now says it has unearthed recordings of the interview.
“In a container which included the original reports from the investigation, the Sheriff’s Office located some detective working copies of audio recordings made during the investigation,” spokeswoman Kelly Hoover told Fox News in a statement.
“A copy of Mr. Feldman’s interview was located. The recording is being turned over to the Los Angeles Police Department. Due to the fact that this case involves the alleged sexual abuse of a child, we are unable to comment further and any documentation or evidence related to this case is exempt from release.”
Feldman, 46, had claimed in a “Today” show interview that he “sat down and I gave them names. They’re on record. They have all this information.”
The actor has launched a campaign to raise $10 million in order to make a movie about sexual misconduct in the entertainment industry.
Feldman’s reps and the LAPD did not immediately respond to calls by Fox News for comment.
Feldman has said he filed a report with the LAPD alleging he was sexually abused as a child in the industry, but the department last month said his allegations are too old to be prosecuted.
“Los Angeles Police Department detectives are committed to protecting victims of sexual assault and will thoroughly investigate any report of a sex-related crime,” police told the LA Times in a statement.
“In the case of Corey Feldman, unfortunately, according to California law, the alleged occurrence is out of statute and robbery-homicide detectives have no other avenues to pursue this case.”
In a 2013 memoir, “Coreyography,” Feldman recounted abuse that he and late actor Corey Haim allegedly suffered as young performers — but he did not provide names.
During a recent appearance on “The Dr. Oz Show,” he identified one man he alleged had sexually molested him as Alphy Hoffman, owner of an underage club that was popular among Hollywood’s top teen stars.
During a prior appearance on the show, he named another of his alleged abusers as Jon Grissom, who had bit roles in some Feldman-Haim films, including “License To Drive” and “Dream a Little Dream.”

Melanie Martinez of “The Voice” responds to rape accusation
Are there any #Crybabies out there? Then you probably already heard the news.
If you are not familiar with Melanie you have probably heard her songs Pity Party (It’s my party and I’ll cry if I want to…) and, of course, Crybaby (They call you crybaby, crybaby, but you don’t f@#*ing care, crybaby, crybaby, so you laugh through your tears).
Former “Voice” contestant Melanie Martinez has responded after singer Timothy Heller accused her of rape. The two women were friends, and Heller recounted two nights during which she claims Martinez sexually assaulted her, but Martinez said Heller “never said no to what we chose to do together.”
On Monday, Heller tweeted a statement and said, “When I wrote this story about my assault, I initially wasn’t going to make the abuser. But I think it’s important for you all to know this is about Melanie Martinez.”
Heller detailed a time in her life when she stayed at Martinez’s home. She wrote that Martinez, who she says was her best friend at the time, repeatedly grilled her about her sexual preferences, then asked her several times if she would have sex with her. Heller said she refused and said she had a boyfriend, but Martinez kept pressing the issue.
Heller said Martinez plied her with marijuana and continued to ask Heller for sex. Heller wrote that she said no several times, but finally “allowed it to happen.” Heller said the same thing happened the next night.
“It’s hard to say someone you loved raped you,” wrote Heller. “Someone you STILL love. The thought of writing this and having the world see it terrifies me. Especially because of who this person is.”
In response, Martinez, who was on Season 3 of “The Voice,” tweeted, “I am horrified and saddened by the statements and story told tonight by Timothy Heller. What she and I shared was a close friendship for a period of time.”
She added, “She never said no to what we chose to do together. And although we parted ways, I am sending her love and light always.”
I wish I could say that I am surprised but it is the age of #RevealAllSexualMiscreants, and no one is spared. With that being said it is always interesting to hear the accused person’s response, “she never said no”? More important than that Melanie: did she ever say yes?
Netflix Fires Danny Masterson Amid Rape Allegations
In a statement, Mr. Masterson denied the accusations, which he described as “outrageous.”
“Law enforcement investigated these claims more than 15 years ago and determined them to be without merit,” he said. “I have never been charged with a crime, let alone convicted of one. In this country, you are presumed innocent until proven guilty. However, in the current climate, it seems as if you are presumed guilty the moment you are accused.”
At least three of the women claimed they were pressured to keep quiet by the Church of Scientology, to which they and Mr. Masterson belonged, according to Mr. Ortega, who wrote a book on Scientology.
The Church of Scientology “adamantly denied” that it had pressured victims. “What is being stated is utterly untrue,” it said in a statement. “This has nothing to do with religion. This story is being manipulated to push a bigoted agenda.”
In his statement, Mr. Masterson said he was “very disappointed” by Netflix’s decision. He thanked the cast, crew and fans of the show and said he wished it success.
Before the Tuesday announcement, a Netflix executive had reportedlyunwittingly told one of Mr. Masterson’s alleged victims that the company did not believe the accusations.
The exchange occurred at a children’s soccer game on Sunday when the victim approached the executive, Andy Yeatman, the director of global kids content for Netflix, HuffPost reported.
After Mr. Yeatman acknowledged to the woman that he worked at Netflix, she asked why the company had done nothing about Mr. Masterson, according to the report.
Mr. Yeatman reportedly said that the company generally takes such allegations seriously, but did not believe Mr. Masterson’s accusers.
“I’m one of them,” the woman, whom HuffPost did not name, told him.
Netflix said in a statement that Mr. Yeatman’s comments “were careless, uninformed and do not represent the views of the company.”
The news of Mr. Masterson’s firing comes one day after Netflix announced that the sixth and final season of “House of Cards” would star Robin Wright, who had shared the spotlight with Kevin Spacey until he was fired this fall following a slew of reports of sexual misconduct.

Matt Lauer fired from NBC for ‘inappropriate sexual behavior in the workplace’
Matt Lauer has been terminated for “inappropriate workplace behavior,” NBC News chairman Andrew Lack wrote in a memo to staff that was read at the top of the Today show Wednesday.
Lauer has served as co-anchor of NBC’s morning news program since 1997. He joined Today in 1994.
Joined by Hoda Kotb, Savannah Guthrie announced that her former co-anchor had been terminated, reading a memo sent to NBC staff, which USA TODAY also obtained.
“On Monday night, we received a detailed complaint from a colleague about inappropriate sexual behavior in the workplace by Matt Lauer. It represented, after serious review, a clear violation of our company’s standards. As a result, we’ve decided to terminate his employment,” Lack said in the memo.
It continued, “While it is the first complaint about his behavior in the over twenty years he’s been at NBC News, we were also presented with reason to believe this may not have been an isolated incident.”

British Actress Accuses Harvey Weinstein of Sex Trafficking in Lawsuit
Kadian Noble revealed her encounter with the disgraced mogul to CBS News, alleging he sexually assaulted her in a bathroom.
Another layer into the Harvey Weinstein scandal continues to unfold. British actress Kadian Noble has filed a civil suit alleging that the mogul sexually assaulted her during the 2014 Cannes Film Festival in France.
Sharing similar sentiments as other Weinstein accusers, Noble told CBS News that Weinstein lured her into his hotel room, promising a movie role, and also claimed in her suit that the mogul “recruits, solicits and entices young female actresses.”
“I still can hear the rattle from his belt, like him undoing his belt while he had grip of me,” Noble recalled, revealing that she was forced into a hotel bathroom, where Weinstein sexually assaulted her.
Noble said Weinstein approached her during the film festival and invited her to his room to watch her audition reel, only to begin allegedly assaulting her. “It seemed like it went on forever and he basically took, just completely touched me inappropriately and got me to put — force my hand in places,” she recalled.
The actress is now suing The Weinstein Co. for damages from the assault, with Noble alleging that Weinstein told her, “Everything will be taken care of for you if you relax,” after attempting to fight back against the mogul. The federal lawsuit, filed in U.S. District Court in Manhattan, also claims that Weinstein took part in sex-trafficking, as he traveled between the U.S., London and France, where the assault occurred.
“Harvey was a legend. He was someone that I thought was going to make my dream a reality,” Noble said of her former thoughts of the mogul. The actress explained that she still harbors dark remnants from the attack and now feels like a different person.
“I’m not the same person, you know. I’ve had to have counseling. Just so much. But I’ve had to keep it to myself. I’ve kept it to myself,” Noble said, visibly emotional.
“Harvey wasn’t acting alone,” said Noble’s attorney Jeff Herman. “Harvey wasn’t allowed and enabled to do what he did to Kadian and other women without help.” A day prior, Herman told NBC’s Today he filed the suit under the federal sex trafficking law because he believes the alleged act falls within the statute. “The benefit of filing under this federal law is that it allows us to bring a claim in the United States for an assault that occurred overseas and it has a 10-year statute of limitations,” he said.
Weinstein has denied all allegations from the multiple accusers alleging the mogul sexually assaulted them, and a spokesman denied Noble’s claims.
Herman, a Florida-based attorney, also represents Weinstein accuser Dominique Huett, who accused the mogul of forcibly performing oral sex on her and is suing TWC for negligence for allegedly enabling his behavior.
Weinstein is currently under investigation by the Los Angeles, New York, London and Park City, Utah, police.

Terry Crew’s Groper Is Revealed
Hollywood’s cover is finally being blown. May actors, and even adults who were child actors are coming out with allegations of sexual abuse.
A few weeks back Terry Crews revealed that he had also been a victim of sexual harassment at the hands of a powerful Hollywood man.
Variety is now reporting that Adam Venit, the longtime head of WME’s motion picture group, is on leave from the agency as it probes an allegation of sexual harassment involving actor Terry Crews.
Crews disclosed via social media on Oct. 10 that he was groped last year at a “Hollywood function” by a “high-level Hollywood executive.” Sources close to the situation said Crews in recent days has been preparing to cite Venit as the unnamed executive. Crews is a client of WME.
Reps for WME and Venit declined to comment, as did a spokeswoman for Crews.
Details about the incident, including the setting of the event, remain sketchy. It’s unclear if Venit’s alleged intent was overtly sexual or if it was aggressive horseplay that crossed a line. Crews said the groping occurred in full view of his wife.
