How to Watch Corey Feldman’s (My) Truth: The Rape of 2 Coreys Documentary

Actors, Documentary

(My) Truth: The Rape of 2 Coreys is finally coming out next month. However, it will not be a traditional release. Corey Feldman announced earlier this week that the long-awaited documentary is seeing the light of day after a series of roadblocks. Feldman has secured the backing he needs to release the documentary the way he sees fit and there are a lot of people waiting to see what he has to say. We have detailed below how you can watch the doc when it comes out next month.

First of all, (My) Truth: The Rape of 2 Coreys will have a live premiere in Hollywood on March 9th. The night marks the eve of the tenth anniversary of Corey Haim’s death. Potential viewers will have to go to Corey Feldman’s MyTruthDoc.com in order to stream the premiere and the movie. The site is currently under construction, but it will be up in time for the tickets to go on sale on February 22nd, 2020.

Tickets prices will be announced on February 18th by Corey Feldman. In his original announcement, the actor/musician says he wants to keep tickets in the $15 – $20 range like a normal movie. With that said, this will not be like a normal movie streaming event. It is, for now, a one night only event, that will take place March 9th at 8PM Pacific. That means East Coasters will have to watch at 11PM. Once the ticket is purchased, viewers will be given a registration code for Truthdoc.com, which will allow whole households to watch the movie for one low price.

Corey Feldman will not be allowing preview screenings or reviews, in order to let (My) Truth: The Rape of 2 Coreys speak for itself. He does not want the media or anyone else twisting his words before the world gets to see his side of the story. Feldman has been taken advantage of in the press in the past and this sadly still happens today. Whatever the case may be, Feldman is ready to get his story out and he’s not charging an arm and a leg to do it.

(My) Truth: The Rape of 2 Coreys was made in order to shed light on what still happens to young actors and actresses in the entertainment industry today. Corey Haim and Corey Feldman have heartbreaking stories, which nobody should ever have to go through. So, hopefully, the release of this documentary will help bring awareness to this issue.

As for whether or not he will be naming the names, that remains to be seen, but he does have 24-hour armed security for himself and his wife. To recap: (My) Truth: The Rape of 2 Coreys will premiere on March 9th at 8PM PTS and 11 EST for a one-night only streaming event that will go worldwide. Tickets will go on sale 2/22/20 on MyTruthdoc.com. You can check out the poster for the movie below, thanks to Corey Feldman’s Twitter account.

Bill Cosby’s Star Won’t Be Removed From Hollywood Walk Of Fame

Actors, Comedy, News & Info

HOLLYWOOD (CBSLA/AP) – Despite being sentenced to 3 to 10 years in prison for drugging and sexually assaulting a woman, Bill Cosby’s star will not be removed from the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

In a statement Tuesday to CBS2, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce said it “does not remove stars from the Walk of Fame” because they “are intended to be permanent.”

“The stars only commemorate the recipient’s professional accomplishments,” the chamber wrote. “It is regrettable when the personal lives of inductees do not measure up to public standards and expectations.”

This comes after a petition was submitted Monday demanding that Cosby’s star be pulled. The chamber has never removed a star from the Walk of Fame and turned down a 2015 request to remove Cosby’s star when the sexual assault allegations against him first began to surface.

Not everyone shared the Chamber of Commerce’s view after Cosby’s sentencing Tuesday.

A Pennsylvania judge Tuesday sentenced Bill Cosby to 3 to 10 years in prison for three felony counts of aggravated indecent assault. The judge also declared him a sexually violent predator.

In April, Cosby was found guilty of sexually assaulting Temple University women’s basketball administrator Andrea Constand at his estate near Philadelphia in 2004.

“It is time for justice. Mr. Cosby, this has all circled back to you. The time has come,” Montgomery County Judge Steven O’Neill said. He quoted from Constand’s own statement to the court, in which she said Cosby took her “beautiful, young spirit and crushed it.”

O’Neill also denied Bill Cosby bail, ordering him to be locked up immediately.

Asia Argento’s attorney says 17-year-old sexually ‘attacked’ her

Actors, News & Info

In a lengthy letter posted to his website on Wednesday, Asia Argento’s attorney disputes allegations from actor Jimmy Bennett that his client sexually assaulted Bennett in 2013.

“As revealed in the text messages published by TMZ, Asia stated, ‘The horny kid jumped me … I had sex with him it felt weird.’ She went on to relate that she became ‘frozen’ when he was on top of her and told her that she had been his sexual fantasy since he was 12 years old,” Argento’s attorney, Mark Heller, wrote in a statement Wednesday. “Asia chose at the time not to prosecute Bennett for sexually attacking her.”
Argento’s attorney claims that although Argento’s former boyfriend, Anthony Bourdain, paid Bennett $250,000 as part of the settlement, Argento would not be making further payments.
“It was inaccurately revealed that a $380,000 settlement had been paid by Asia to Bennett in an attempt to preclude Bennett form making any allegations against Asia which would certainly create the impression that Asia was responsible for the alleged incident,” the statement continued. “Bourdain chose to protect Asia’s and his reputation and to pay Bennett and allowed Bennett to extract payments from him … now that Mr. Bourdain has passed away and is not able to comment on his desire to avoid potential scandal which resulted in his facilitating payment to Bennett, Asia will not permit any portion of the balance of the $380,000 payment to be paid to Bennett who has already received $250,000 from Anthony Bourdain.”
Bourdain, whose series “Parts Unknown” airs on CNN, died by suicide in June.
Following the initial report by The New York Times last month, Argento denied having a sexual relationship with Bennett stating, “I am deeply shocked and hurt by having read news that is absolutely false. I have never had any sexual relationship with Bennett.”
Shortly after, TMZ published a “selfie” of Argento and Bennett that appeared to show them in bed together.

At the time, Bennett issued a statement to CNN through his attorney, Gordon K. Sattro.
“I did not initially speak out about my story because I chose to handle it in private with the person who wronged me. My trauma resurfaced as she came out as a victim herself,” Bennett’s statement read in part. “I was underage when the event took place, and I tried to seek justice in a way that made sense to me at the time because I was not ready to deal with the ramifications of my story becoming public. At the time I believed there was still a stigma to being in the situation as a male in our society.”
CNN has contacted the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department for comment. Last week, a spokesperson for the department told CNN that investigators are interested in speaking with Bennett about his allegations against Argento but had been unable to reach him.
Bennett’s attorney was not immediately available for comment.

Weinstein Co. Saga Comes to an End as $289 Million Sale to Lantern Closes

Actors, News & Info, TV Serials & Shows

Weinstein was a name the general public barely knew, but drove Hollywood – that is until last fall. The NY Times wrote an expose on Weinstein last fall detailing his sexual crimes against actresses, models and other women in the entertainment industry.

With its $289 million sale to Lantern Capital Partners having closed today, the Weinstein Co. saga comes to an end. Co-founded by brothers Harvey and Bob Weinstein in 2005 with plans to become a major multimedia company, TWC — despite back-to-back best picture Oscar wins for The King’s Speech and The Artist as well as several Emmy trophies for shows like Project Runway—  never lived up to all its grand ambitions. And, having struggled financially in recent years, it was forced into bankruptcy in the wake of the dozens of allegations surrounding Harvey Weinstein, who has since been charged with six counts of sexual assault and rape in Manhattan.

Even before he was enveloped by scandal, Harvey Weinstein’s golden touch when it came to courting Oscar had begun to lose its luster. Between their days at Miramax and TWC, the Weinsteins have claimed 341 Oscar nominations and 81 Academy Award wins. When the nominations for the 88th Oscars were announced in 2016, TWC collect 10 nominations for Carol and The Hateful Eight, but no best picture or director noms. And while the list of 2017 nominations saw Lion score six nominations, including best picture, the company’s other awards hopeful The Founder was shut out.

Now, it will be up to Lantern and the leadership it appoints to pick up the pieces. During the course of the bankruptcy proceedings, a deal was struck to move Project Runway from Lifetime back to Bravo, where it originally aired. And there are a number of unreleased films that have been stuck in limbo — period drama The Current War, starring Benedict Cumberbatch; biblical tale Mary Magdalene, starring Rooney Mara; and the odd-couple comedy The Upside, starring Kevin Hart and Bryan Cranston — that could be sold off to other distributors.
