Florida teen arrested after posing as doctor, opening medical practice
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — A Florida teen was arrested on suspicion of practicing medicine without a license after he allegedly performed a physical exam on an undercover agent on Tuesday.
Malachi Love-Robinson, 18, was taken into custody after the undercover operation, during which he gave medical advice, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office announced.
Authorities had received a complaint earlier in the month about Love-Robinson, who had been cited by the state health department for practicing medicine without a license in October 2015.
Love-Robinson opened a medical office in West Palm Beach and was presenting himself as a doctor, the Sheriff’s Office said.
A Facebook page for Dr. Malachi A. Love listed a medical office at the same address — 4700 N. Congress Ave. — as the one given by the Sheriff’s Office, calling the business “New Birth New Life Holistic and Alternative Medical Center & Urgent Care.” A website and Facebook page were also set up for the center.
Photos on the center’s Facebook page showed “Dr. Love” posing with two older women described as the center’s “staff.” And on the website Healthgrades.com, a first-person description of Dr. Love-Robinson read:
“I am a well rounded proffessional that treats, and cares for patients, using a system of practice that bases treatment of physiological functions and abnormal conditions on natural laws governing the human body. I utilize physiological, psychological, and mechanical methods, such as air, water, light, heat, earth, phototherapy, food and herb therapy, psychotherapy, electrotherapy, physiotherapy, minor and orificial surgery, mechanotherapy, naturopathic corrections and manipulation, and natural methods or modalities, together with natural medicines, natural processed foods, and herbs and nature’s remedies.”
Love-Robinson was booked on suspicion of practicing medicine without a license, and the Florida Department of Health served him notice to cease and desist along with several other citations.
In January, West Palm Beach police stopped a juvenile for posing as a doctor in a lab coat at an area hospital, the Florida Sun-Sentinel reported. No charges were filed.
It’s not clear if the two incidents are linked.

8-year-old boy attempts to hold up grocery store in West Palm Beach – FL wont press charges
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – A store clerk at King Foods and Meat Bazaar was shaken up over what he saw Wednesday evening.
In the store’s surveillance video, you see an 8-year-old boy walk in.
“He went through the entry door and very quietly, very confidently,” the clerk says. “He was wearing like a motorcycle helmet, and he was wearing a sweater over his mouth. He was only showing his eyes.”
What happened next shocked everyone.
The boy walked up to the cashier – and pointed a gun hidden underneath a sweater.
“He told the cashier ‘give me the f-ing money.'”
The clerk and another employee quickly springing into action.
“All of a sudden I’m so shocked. I don’t know if it’s a real gun or if it’s a fake gun, but my priority is to take it away from him because I don’t know.”
“I just turned his wrist and took it out from his hand. At that point, another coworker of mine grabbed him.”
In the video, you can see the 8-year-old boy try to escape the grasp of the clerk.
Investigators tell us the boy stole the gun from his mother.
WPTV was that told the boy was hospitalized for his own well being.
Meanwhile the clerk is still wondering how this child is capable of such adult behavior.
“It’s so shocking. I feel like you have to be careful with everybody nowadays. You can never be too careful.”
West Palm Beach police spokesman Lori Colombino said Friday that the child was taken to the Juvenile Assessment Center. The boy was charged with attempted armed robbery with a firearm and aggravated assault. However, the state has decided not to press charges.
The child must attend a diversion program and has been ordered to stay away from the convenience store. If he doesn’t comply the state could reinstate the charges.
Florida man snatches 4 million pounds of citrus without paying, officials say
Perhaps he had an insatiable appetite for oranges. Or maybe he was just trying to squeeze a serious profit.
Whatever the reason, a Florida man allegedly stole 4 million pounds of citrus, the state department of agriculture said Friday. That’s more than $540,000 worth of produce.
Officials said Bradley D. Reiter, owner of Reiter Citrus Inc., entered into contracts with several grove companies and a resident to buy and remove citrus from their land — but he never paid for the fruit.
As it turned out, Reiter didn’t even have a license to deal citrus, the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services said.
He also entered a resident’s grove without permission and removed 180 boxes of citrus, the agriculture department said. Officials said Reiter Citrus Inc. gave the resident a check worth only half the actual value of the fruit.
Reiter was arrested and booked into the Polk County Jail and faces several charges, including scheme to defraud, grand theft and dealing citrus without a license, the agriculture department said.
It was not immediately clear what happened to the 4 million pounds of fruit.
Fla. deputy fatally shot from behind after serving domestic violence papers
A Florida deputy was shot from behind and killed after serving a domestic violence injunction Tuesday morning, the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office said.
Deputy Bill Myers, 64, was working in Shalimar when he was struck by multiple bullets, including in his head and back.
The suspect, Joel Dixon Smith, was later killed in a hotel shootout with a tactical team, officials said.
“Deputy Myers has been a treasured part of this agency’s family since 1989,” Sheriff Larry Ashley said of the deputy who had retired two years ago then came back to work part time earlier this year. He was loved, admired, and respected for his dedication to the law enforcement profession.
“He loved photography and he had an ability to make those around him smile, especially his young granddaughter who he adored and took to Disney World as often as he could.”
Myers had come back to work to earn a little money to take his granddaughter to the theme park, the sheriff said.
The sheriff told reporters he spoke to Myers’ wife and one of his sons.
“They are devastated,” Ashley said.
Myers had served the papers, which prohibited Smith from having contact with his spouse, at the office of the suspect’s lawyer and had talked to the suspect about surrendering his firearms, the sheriff said.
Smith told Myers that his guns were in his truck. As they walked to the parking lot, Smith shot Myers, according to Ashley. There were four shell casings found at the scene but it wasn’t immediately clear if Smith fired each round. Myers’ gun wasn’t in his holster, the sheriff said.
Because the event had been set up by Smith’s attorney, who called authorities to tell them where to meet his client, it appeared Smith wasn’t a threat.
“Certainly there was no indication … that there was violence to be expected,” Ashley said.
Myers died at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center.
The suspect fled and after being spotted by police raced to a hotel in Niceville where he barricaded the door of his room. The sheriff’s Special Response Team arrived and after more than 100 minutes of negotiations, they fired tear gas into the room, authorities said. Smith came out with a handgun and was shot several times, Ashley said. He died at the same hospital as the deputy.
Gov. Rick Scott said: “Our hearts are broken to learn of the death of Deputy Bill Myers. Florida’s law enforcement officers risk their lives daily to protect others, and any act of violence against these brave heroes is shameful and cowardly. My wife, Ann, and I send our sincerest condolences to Deputy Myers’ family and brothers and sisters in Florida’s law enforcement community.”
Ashley said Smith was arrested in a domestic violence case in Walton County in 2008.
According to the Officer Down Memorial Page, 27 officers have been killed by gunfire in the line of duty this year. Two others were fatally wounded during firearms training.
4 Florida Students Hack Up 17 year Old With Machete And Bury Him Alive
Four Florida Students have been in the murder of a 17 year old whom they hacked up with a machete and buried alive.
Kaheem Arbelo, 20, Jonathan Lucas, 18, and Christian Colon, 19, and Desiray Strickland, 18 have all been arrested as of Wednesday in the murder of Jose Amaya Guardado. This sick demented group plotted this murder for 2 weeks and even went as far as digging the grave and hiding the machete in the woods.
On June 28 these sick people lured Guardado in to the woods after he asked permission to leave campus. He was then ambushed by the group and was attacked with the machete. Guardado tried to fight back but was soon over powered. They then ordered the teen into the shallow grave and then buried him alive. They then burned their clothes and Guardado’s belongings. Jonathan Lucas and Christian Colon headed back to campus but Desiray Strickland and Kaheem Arbelo stayed behind to have sex.
Guardaso’s body was discovered three days later by his brothers after he was reported missing. Authorities think that the teen was killed because of a debt he owed to Arbelo who is also believed to be a drug dealer.
Since the four have been arrested them men have been cooperative while Strickland has been resisting. She has assaulted a detective, tried to unlock her handcuffs and carved “MPD Go To Hell” on a table.
Arbelo, Strickland and Lucas have been charged with first-degree murder and Colon faces a second-degree murder and conspiracy charges. Arbelo and Lucas face charges of first degree conspiracy and evidence tampering. Strickland also faces resisting an officer with violence, battery of an officer and criminal mischief. They are being held without bond.
This absolutely disgusting. I hope all of them get thrown under the jail. Five lives tossed away probably over something extremely petty.

A Florida man is facing charges of lewd and lascivious behavior after he urinated near a kids party, tired to lure them into his home and then masturbated at the end of his driveway.
39 year old Robert Seery was arrested this past Saturday day after he was reported on his actions. Witnesses say that they saw the man running down the driveway with his pants down.
Some of the children stated that they were helping him look for a stray dog in the bushes and he tried to get them to come in the house and say “thank you”.

Ritual Killings May Be Linked To Blue Moon
A triple murder in Florida is being investigated as a possible ritual killing linked to the recent blue moon.
The bodies of Richard Smith, 49, John Smith, 47, and their mother, Voncile Smith, 77, were found on July 31 inside their home in Pensacola. County Sheriff David Morgan has said these killings were believed to be ritualistic.
The causes of death were blunt force trauma and slit throats. Their bodies were also places in certain positions. The killer is believed to have ties with some sort of faith or religion.
There was no sign of forced entry which leaves police to believe that the killer is someone that the family knew.
My thoughts, this is some sick twisted mess. To make it worse the killer is possibly someone they knew. It’s a sad day when you can’t trust the people who you thought you were close to.

Ratchet FL~ Church Orders Single Mom to Pay $1,000 in Delinquent Tithes
Remember when church elders said tithing wasn’t mandatory; and to just give whatever you can? Well, those days are long gone.
As more and more churches face budget cuts and rising gas prices making it more costly for pastors to drive Cadillacs, church leaders are looking to their flock to foot the bills.
One Florida church demanded a female member pay $1,000 in delinquent tithes or be removed from the church’s roll.
Candace Patterson received the letter from Tampa’s Greater Mount Moriah Primitive Baptist Church. The letter reminded the single mom of the church’s mandatory “contribution” of $50 a month plus two special assessments.
The letter also demanded children pay $5 a month plus two special assessments.
It isn’t unusual for church’s to shame members into paying tithes, but some say Patterson’s church took it a step too far.
Patterson posted the letter on her Facebook page, where it sparked fiery debates on mandatory tithing and religious extortion.
Patterson wrote: “if I knew a church charged 50.00 a month I would have never joined…especially if I’m a single parent trying to make ends meet…”
But many of her followers saw no problem with a church forcing its members to pay what amounts to private club dues every month.
Others criticized the church for hiding behind its tax exempt status while fleecing its congregation.
Churches used to be sanctuaries where parishioners could go for spiritual guidance and a sense of belonging. But churches have become a business, and churches profit from tithing.
Patterson told ABC News, “It’s like you say to me, if you want to be a member of this church, you need to pay this. If you want to find God, it don’t say anything like that in the Bible.”
