Florida teacher allegedly used 1-year-old son to make child porn
A Florida elementary school teacher has been arrested for allegedly using her own 1-year-old son in sexually explicit videos shared with her ex-boyfriend — who is himself accused of molesting his own daughter, according to reports.
US Marshals arrested Audra Mabel, 34, Thursday for distributing child pornography to her ex Justin Ritchie, 36.
Police arrested Ritchie on March 8 after his 4-year-old daughter reported he had inappropriately touched her “vulva” several times — including with an electric toothbrush — and performed oral sex on her, Newsweek reported.
On his phone, investigators found 10 sexually explicit videos, including ones allegedly depicting Mabel and her 1-year-old son. One clip focused on the child’s genitals, and another included Mabel masturbating while breastfeeding, the outlet reported.
Another reportedly depicts Mabel shoving a camera up her skirt only to later turn the camera around and reveal a classroom full of children.
Investigators say Mabel shot the illicit videos while working as a first-grade teacher in Lansing, Michigan, but sent them to Ritchie in Florida.
She admitted to producing the videos, according to Newsweek.
“Mabel and [Ritchie] also read stories to each other about sex between children and adults,” a criminal complaint states.
She later moved to Florida, but the pair broke up last year after Ritchie refused to leave his wife.
She was hit with federal charges of creating child pornography and sexual exploitation of a child, while state officials are charging Ritchie with sexual assault of a child, according to the Orlando Sentinel.
FL Cop suspended for letting suspects smoke and perform sex acts in patrol cruiser (small video clip here)
A Florida cop was suspended for nearly three weeks for letting two shoplifting suspects smoke and perform sex acts in the back of a police cruiser, shocking video shows.
Fort Pierce Police Officer Doug McNeal apparently set the mood with Barry White’s “Can’t Get Enough of Your Love, Babe” playing inside his patrol car when he took suspects Zachary Moellendick, 23, and Krista Leigh, 24, to the St. Lucie County Jail last July, according to an internal affairs report obtained by Treasure Coast Newspapers.
Footage from the officer’s body camera — which was fixed beneath his cruiser’s rearview mirror — shows Moellendick without handcuffs while sipping a beverage in the back seat. He also had a lighter in his pants and a cigarette tucked behind his ear, according to the report.
Moellendick is later recorded cuddling with Leigh after she was placed in the back of the police vehicle without handcuffs, a violation of department policy. The amorous couple is then seen kissing before later fondling each other as White’s 1974 classic blares in the background, video shows.
McNeal then gave the amorous couple permission to smoke in the sally port of the jail.
“We didn’t think we were allowed to smoke in here,” Leigh said.
“Uh, you’re really not, but it’s fine,” McNeal replied.
Moellendick then lit a cigarette without hesitation, according to the footage, which apparently left an impression on another officer in real time.
“I think they’re making babies back there,” the female officer said.
McNeal later told an internal affairs detective that he saw the couple kissing and said he was “fine with it,” according to the report. McNeal, however, denied seeing the couple engaged in any sexual activity.
Moellendick, of Palm Bay, and Leigh, of Melbourne, were taken into custody after allegedly shoplifting at a Walmart in Fort Pierce. Moellendick later pleaded guilty to petty theft and trespassing before being released from jail on Thursday.
Leigh, who pleaded no contest to petty theft, has also been released from custody after being sentenced to time served, according to Treasure Coast Newspapers.
McNeal, who has been employed by the department since 2014, was also disciplined for neglecting to tell dispatchers about his location and failing to report his mileage, WPTV reports.
“Officer McNeal has accepted full responsibility for his actions and understands the seriousness of the policy violations,” Police Chief Diane Hobley-Burney said in a statement to the station. “The conduct of this officer does not represent the values of this department or the dedicated men and women who serve our community with honor every day.”
McNeal’s 20-day suspension without pay took effect on Feb. 14.

Florida mayor opens fire at cops as they raid his home
The mayor of a Florida town opened fire at a SWAT team who raided his waterfront home and arrested him, officials said.
Port Richey Mayor Dale Massad fired two shots at officers when he was arrested Thursday on allegations of practicing medicine without a license.
The deputies announced their presence at his home on the Gulf Coast around 4:40 a.m. as they attempted to serve a search warrant.
Shots were fired when officers entered, but they retreated and didn’t return the gunfire, officials said. No deputies were injured in the shooting.
“He’s lucky he’s not dead,” Pasco County Sheriff Chris Nocco said at a press conference.
The 68-year-old mayor surrendered to authorities and was taken to Pasco County Jail.
Authorities said they received information that Massad — whose medical license was revoked in 1992 — was still treating patients at his home.
Massad faces charges for attempted murder and practicing medicine without a license.

11-year-old arrested after refusing to stand for Pledge of Allegiance
An 11-year-old student was arrested after refusing to stand for the Pledge of Allegiance and allegedly telling a teacher that “the flag is racist and the national anthem is offensive to black people,” according to reports.
The boy, a student at Lawton Chiles Middle Academy in Lakeland, Fla., was charged with disrupting a school function and resisting arrest without violence for the Feb. 4 outburst, according to Bay News 9.
He was also issued a three-day suspension.
His mother, Dhakira Talbot, said officials took things too far by arresting her son, who she said is in gifted classes and has been bullied in the past.
“My son has never been through anything like this. I feel like this should’ve been handled differently,” she said. “If any disciplinary action should’ve been taken, it should’ve been with the school. He shouldn’t have been arrested.”
The classroom kerfuffle happened when a substitute teacher, Ana Alvarez, ordered the boy to stand for the Pledge of Allegiance.
When he told her he believed the flag was racist and the anthem was offensive, Alvarez asked him “why if it was so bad here he did not go to another place to live,” the teacher said in a statement to the school district.
The teacher said he replied, “they brought me here.”
Alvarez then told him, “Well you can always go back, because I came here from Cuba and the day I feel I’m not welcome here anymore I would find another place to live.”
She said she resorted to calling the main office “because I did not want to continue dealing with him.”
The student also allegedly called school leaders racist, threatened to get the school resource officer and principal fired and beat up Alvarez, according to an arrest affidavit.
He denied threatening to beat the teacher in an interview with Bay News 9 with his mother.
Polk County Public Schools spokesman Kyle Kennedy insisted that the boy was not arrested for failing to stand for the pledge.
“Students are not required to participate in the Pledge of Allegiance,” he told The Ledger.
The sixth-grader was collared “after becoming disruptive and refusing to follow repeated instructions by school staff and law enforcement,” he added.
Kennedy said he couldn’t discuss the boy’s discipline. Alvarez will no longer work as a substitute teacher in Polk County, he said.
“Our HR department will contact Kelly Services, which provides our substitutes, to further refine how our substitutes are trained,” Kennedy said.

Fake doctor claimed to have the cure for diabetes
A Florida man who posed as a doctor claimed he could cure diabetes through a dubious procedure transferring the patient’s own blood back into them, according to officials
Onelio Hipolit-Gonzalez, 73, was arrested Tuesday in connection to a medical scam which advertised his services on a site called “Elclassificado,” according to the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office.
Hipolit-Gonzalez posed in a white lab coat on the site and claimed he treated a range of illnesses from leukemia to multiple sclerosis, authorities said.
The Florida Department of Health alleges he never had a medical license in the state.
An undercover officer arranged an appointment last week with Hipolit-Gonzalez — who requested $160 for the visit and asked to meet at a residential home, officials said.
“Hipolit-Gonzalez checked the patient’s blood pressure and pulse and then placed a band around the patient’s head and had him hold a metal rod (both the band and the rod were connected to a machine on a table),” authorities said. “Once turned on, the machine began making beeping noises. Hipolit-Gonzalez told the patient, that the device was testing his heart, brain, intestinal system, bones, nerves, and ‘everything else.’”
When the test was complete, the so-called doctor diagnosed the patient with diabetes and osteoporosis, according to authorities.
Hipolit-Gonzalez then claimed he previously cured diabetes for another patient and could treat the undercover cop for $2,000.
Officials said he went on to explain that the treatment would include injecting the patient with “his own blood.”
The Hernando County Sheriff’s Office then intervened and brought Hipolit-Gonzalez in for questioning.
When asked about the bizarre procedure, Hipolit-Gonzalez said “he draws the patient’s blood, and then injects the same blood he just withdrew,” according to police.
“He said when the blood enters the body it ‘combats’ the blood cells and increases the immune system,” officials said.
In regards to his medical background, Hipolit-Gonzalez claimed he was a lab technician in Cuba then got a certificate in Florida for iridology, herbology and nutrition.
Charges were filed against Hipolit-Gonzalez for unlicensed practice of a health care profession and unlawful use of a two-way communication device.
Hipolit-Gonzalez is being held on $10,000 bond.

Florida politician is rejecting calls to resign after a high school photo showing him in blackface
A Florida politician is rejecting calls to resign after a high school photo showing him in blackface surfaced — claiming the image was merely a prank with a black classmate.
State Rep. Anthony Sabatini, a 30-year-old Republican representing House District 32, said the image showing him as a teen with darkened skin while wearing sunglasses, a New York Yankees cap, a do-rag and gold chains has been “decontextualized” since his days at Eustis High School, the Orlando Sentinel reports.
“I’m 16 years old, one of my best friends of the time was black, and we thought at the time — looking back, it was immature — it would be funny to dress as each other,” Sabatini told the newspaper. “He dressed in my clothes — a Ralph Lauren polo shirt, shorts, Converse — and I dressed in his clothing … None of us thought 14 years later any of us would be a public figure and the photo would be decontextualized.”
Sabatini insisted that the controversy surrounding the image, which has resurfaced on social media after being mailed anonymously to media outlets in Lake County prior to his defeat of Democratic Cynthia Brown in November, had “zero” in common with the blackface scandals that prompted Florida Secretary of State Michael Ertel to resign and calls for Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam to do the same over a racist photo in his medical school yearbook from 1984.
Sabatini, who denied the photo was racist, accused the Democratic Party of doing “whatever it takes to influence” elections in the Sunshine State, including “going into high school yearbook pictures of you.”
But Brown on Monday renewed her call for Sabatini to resign over the photo, calling the behavior “mean, cruel and unacceptable for anyone,” particularly an elected official.
“Floridians need to know that our elected leaders will not accept this behavior and will stand consistently in opposing racism,” Brown wrote on Facebook.
Brown said in a separate post that the specifics behind the photo, including how old Sabatini was at the time and his political party today, should not factor into the discussion on whether he should step down.
“Anthony you cannot represent ALL of the people of our district, just as the Florida Secretary of State decided he couldn’t,” Brown wrote. “Do what is right for once, step down and resign.”
The state’s Democratic chair, Terrie Rizzo, echoed Brown’s sentiment, calling for Sabatini to step down in a statement released Tuesday.
“Governor DeSantis did the right thing in accepting Michael Ertel’s resignation — and he and Leader Jose Oliva should do the right thing and ask for the resignation of Rep. Anthony Sabatini,” Rizzo’s statement read. “In calling out racist behavior Florida Democrats and Republicans should stand united.”
A message seeking comment from Sabatini early Wednesday was not immediately returned.
Sabatini’s high school friend, meanwhile, defended the image picturing Sabatini and himself, saying he didn’t understand the controversy surrounding it.
“Every year at high school homecoming week, we had things like ‘80s day and celebrity days,” Brandon Evans told the newspaper. “We said, ‘I’m going to be you and you’re going to be me.’ I don’t know how it got to be seen as racial. That’s all it was.”
Sabatini, a native of New York state whose campaign website billed him as a “true conservative,” defeated Brown by 13 percent in November, one month after the photo initially surfaced.
“When we were 15, 16 sophomore year, it was OK to joke around like that,” Sabatini told the Orlando Sentinel in October. “It’s changed, OK? There is definitely a different standard. I get it.”
Asked if he would be photographed in blackface again, Sabatini said at the time: “Are you joking? Of course not.”

Florida Substitute teacher dumps poop on party in revenge against principal
This substitute teacher in Florida really wanted the principal to eat sh-t.
Heather Carpenter, a sub at Phillippi Shores Elementary School, will be arraigned Friday for allegedly sabotaging the principal’s party at a Sarasota park by dumping human feces on the grills and tables, news station WWSB reported.
Police said 42-year-old Carpenter was angry over a complaint she filed at school and wanted revenge on the principal.
The sub allegedly was witnessed in rubber gloves and a face mask around 6:30 a.m. Dec. 1 at Urfer Park putting fecal matter around the pavilion, which was reserved for the birthday party of the principal’s 6-year-old daughter.
Officers spoke to the principal who explained she had an ongoing dispute with a substitute teacher, who taught her daughter’s class. The detectives went to the home of Carpenter, who allegedly confessed to the act of revenge, officials said.
She told officers she flung the poop around the pavilion because she was upset over how a complaint she filed at school was being handled and wanted to disrupt the birthday festivities.
Carpenter was arrested Dec. 7 on suspicion of criminal mischief. She was released the next day on $2,500 bond, according to court records.

Florida man finds out his dad helped deliver him at birth, throws pizza at him, police say
A Florida man wasn’t willing to give his father a “pizza” his heart.
Robert Houston was arrested Thursday after he allegedly attacked his father with a pizza upon finding out his old man helped deliver him at birth, WFLA reported. Police arrived at the home in Holiday, Fla., and discovered a slice of the pie on a chair along with cheese and tomato sauce splattered inside the residence.
Houston’s father told deputies he was returning home from a walk when his son picked up the pizza from the delivery man and proceeded to shove the pie in his face, hold him down and yell at him.
“The victim began to flail around trying to get the defendant off him at which point the defendant went outside and awaited law enforcement,” the arrest report stated.
Houston later told police he “threw pizza at his dad’s face striking him with it due to him being mad his dad helped give birth to him,” WTSP reported.
It’s unclear why the information caused him to attack his father.
Houston was arrested and held on a $150 bond.

Gamer’s alleged rape of teen girl overheard on PlayStation
A video game player faces rape charges after he was reportedly overheard through his PlayStation console forcing a teen girl to have sex, police said.
Daniel Enrique Fabian, 18, was charged Wednesday with lewd and lascivious battery in connection to an incident earlier this year at his New Port Richey, Florida, home, news station WFTS reported.
Police said Fabian was playing “Grand Theft Auto” against another gamer online in June when he said he planned to “smash” a girl who was over his house.
The other player said Fabian left his gaming microphone on and he could hear the 15-year-old victim refusing his advances.
The girl reportedly told Fabian “no” four times, but he continued to have sex with her, according to an arrest affidavit.
About 15 minutes later, Fabian resumed the game with the other player, police said.
The victim told officers that she was sitting on Fabian’s bed when he covered her mouth with his hand and pushed her down to rape her. The girl completed a rape kit, which linked Fabian to the alleged crime through DNA testing, news station WFLA reported.

Florida teen killed mom and buried her in fire pit after arguing over bad grade, police say
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — Authorities say a 15-year-old Florida boy strangled his mother after getting into an argument over a bad grade he received. Volusia County Sheriff Mike Chitwood told CBS affiliate WKMG-TV Gregory Ramos was arrested early Saturday after the body of 46-year-old Gail Cleavenger was found buried under a nearby church’s fire pit.
Investigators say Ramos killed her after they argued about his school grades. Chitwood said the boy is one of the “top three sociopaths” he has ever encountered, calling him a “soulless individual.”
Chitwood says he faces murder charges. It was unclear Saturday if he has a lawyer to represent him.
After the killing, authorities say the boy called friends to help him make it look like someone had burglarized the home. The boy initially told deputies his mother was missing.
“To watch how cold and callous and calculating he was, I think was probably the most shocking thing for all of us,” Chitwood said. “No sign of remorse whatsoever.”
The two 17-year-old friends face multiple charges.
