Diddy Reveals He Was Hidden Upstate Amid Biggie’s Death
Article via TheSource
A Verzuz battle with Diddy is in high-demand, but the mogul thinks his catalog is too extensive to battle against anyone. But we’ve got just the person who can go toe-to-toe with the Hip Hop legend: Dr. Dre.
On Friday Puff told Fat Joe on Instagram live that “we’re definitely talking about it.”
Swizz Beatz previously suggested that this battle needs to be a “pay-per-view event” during an Instagram live session with Timbaland. “We need Dr. Dre versus P. Diddy Pay-per-view for the culture,” Swizz Beatz said. “Let’s bring the two kings in and give back to the people. This is a give back to the people.”
But the two moguls have a fortune between them and can spare an hour of free content for the culture. The young generation deserves this educational moment to get a virtual feel of the game-changing East Coast vs. West Coast beef.Advertisement
Elsewhere during his conversation with who he called the “Puerto Rican Oprah,” Diddy revealed that he hid upstate for two weeks after his artist and friend, Notorious B.I.G. was gunned down in Los Angeles. “The day I made ‘Missing You’ was the first day I went out the house. First, they went and hid me upstate somewhere. They were concerned about me, like my family, for like two weeks.”

Diddy says ‘Black Panther’ was a ‘cruel experiment’
The star wasn’t as impressed by the movie as everyone else.
Diddy has called Black Panther a “cruel experiment”, despite the acclaim the movie has received for improving representation in Hollywood.
The Marvel movie featured a predominantly black cast, including Michael B. Jordan, Chadwick Boseman, Lupita Nyong’o, Letitia Wright, and more.
While the film’s representative nature has been widely applauded, Diddy wasn’t as impressed with it. “Black Panther was a cruel experiment,” he told Variety. “We live in 2018 and it’s the first time that the film industry gave us a fair playing field on a worldwide blockbuster, and the hundreds of millions it takes to make it,” he said.

Justin Combs Is Still a Bruin
Earlier this year Hip Hop mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was arrested for assaulting UCLA strength training coach, Sal Alosi, for bullying his son Justin during football practice
At the time there were rumors Justin had been kicked off the team, the rumors were not true…
Last week during the Pac-12 football media summit Bruins head coach Jim Mora confirmed there had been ‘no changes to their roster’ but flat out refused to entertain any questions regarding Diddy directly.
This young man worked hard to make that team, he shouldn’t be kicked off the team because his father was acting the fool.
L.A. district attorney’s office declines to charge Diddy for UCLA confrontation….#mustbenice
The Los Angeles County district attorney’s office declined to file felony charges against hip hop mogul
Sean “Diddy” Combs, it was announced on Thursday.
Combs was arrested June 20 at UCLA’s athletics facilities for a charge of assault with a deadly weapon, which was a kettlebell. He was also charged with one count of making terrorist threats and one count of battery. Diddy’s son, Justin Combs, is a defensive back on the Bruins’ football team.
DA spokesman Ricardo Santiago said his office has decided to turn the case over to the Los Angeles city attorney’s office, where lesser misdemeanor charges could be considered.
Combs, 45, said in a statement released June 24 that he was defending himself and his son.
“The various accounts of the event and charges that are being reported are wholly inaccurate,” a representatives for Combs Enterprises said. “What we can say now is that any actions taken by Mr. Combs were solely defensive in nature to protect himself and his son.”
The incident involved UCLA strength and conditioning coach and former New York Jets staffer Sal Alosi but details of the altercation were not made clear.
UCLA has denied a USA TODAY Sports request through the state’s public record laws for any video footage of the dispute.
“I’m thankful that our staff showed the level of professionalism that they did in handling this situation,” UCLA coach Jim Mora said in a statement issued through the school. “This is an unfortunate incident for all parties involved. While UCPD continues to review this matter, we will let the legal process run its course and refrain from further comment at this time.”
