Angelina Jolie feels Brad Pitt ‘turned’ her and kids’ ‘lives upside down’
Angelina Jolie still has anger toward Brad Pitt despite ending their marriage more than three years ago, multiple sources exclusively reveal in the new issue of Us Weekly.
“Angelina still has a lot of resentment toward Brad,” says a source. “She wants him to be held accountable because she feels he turned her and the children’s lives upside down.”
Pitt, 55, and Jolie, 44, had been together for nearly 12 years — they tied the knot in August 2014 — before splitting in September 2016 due to irreconcilable differences. While the actor is desperate to move on, multiple sources reveal that Jolie can’t.
The Maleficent star, for one, is bitter that she can’t move with their children — Maddox, 18, Pax, 15, Zahara, 14, Shiloh, 13, and 11-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne — out of Los Angeles, where the actor is based. (The former pair — who have yet to finalize their divorce — share physical and legal custody of the kids.)
“Before the divorce, the entire family led a very nomadic existence, and that was because of Angie’s restlessness,” says a second source, but it led to a lot of fights. “Brad wanted the kids to have stability while Angie always said they were giving the children an idyllic childhood by exposing them to different countries, languages and experiences.”
Another thing Jolie is upset about? The fact that she didn’t want to marry the Ad Astra star in the first place. “She felt that Brad pressured her,” a source told Us in October, and as a result, it’s a reason she’ll “never get married again.”
Jolie revealed in her Harper’s Bazaar December/January cover story that she’d “love to live abroad,” but “right now, I’m having to base where their father chooses to live.”

Once Upon A Time in Hollywood Director Quentin Tarantino Shuts Down New York Times Reporter’s MeToo Inspired Question

I’m all for TRUE victims of assault and rape of woman of all colors. I’m all for woman empowerment. But I’m seeing an ugly trend with the #METOO Movement. I see and hear obnoxious FAKE ASS feminists shoving what is THEIR obnoxious views on all genders who didn’t ASK nor want to be bullied into answering THEIR answering fake feminist #metoo question.
During a press event at the Cannes Film Festival to promote his latest film, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, director Quentin Tarantino shut down a New York Times reporter’s #MeToo inspired question.
Here’s her question:
“Quentin, you have put Margot Robbie a very talented actress, actor, in your film. She was with Leonardo in Wolf of Wallstreet, I, Tonya. This is a person with a great deal of acting talent, and yet you haven’t really given her any lines in the movie. And I wonder, I guess that was a deliberate choice on your part, and I just want to know why that was. Why we don’t hear her actually speaking very much. And, Margot I wanted you to also comment about being in the film and this part.”
The director flatly rejected her question with a simple yet stern, “Well, I just reject your hypothesis.”
Margot Robbie, in turn, did her best to answer the question in a balanced way that didn’t feed into the reporter’s loaded question.
To really show those wonderful sides of her I think could be adequately done without speaking. I did feel like I got a lot of time to explore the character even without dialogue specifically, which is an interesting thing. Because I often do look to the interaction with other characters to inform me on the character. Rarely do I get an opportunity to spend so much time on my own as a character. Going through a day to day, existence. That was actually an interesting thing for me to do as an actor. I really appreciated the exercise. And I felt that I could deliver want I wanted to on screen.”
“Like I said earlier, I always look into the character and what the character is supposed to serve to the story. I think the moments that I got on screen gave an opportunity to honor Sharon and the likeness. I don’t think it was intended to delve deeper then, like Brad also mentioned, I think the tragedy ultimately was the loss of innocence.
Once Upon A Time in Hollywood will be released on July 26th.
