Mom turns herself in after slashing throats of her two children
A Bronx mother slashed her two young children’s throats before turning up at a police precinct covered in blood to confess to the heinous crime, cops said Monday.
A passerby saw Shanice Martin, 24, allegedly stab her 2-year-old daughter and 6-year-old son in the neck and body on the corner of Washington Avenue and Brook Avenue at 8:30 p.m. Saturday, police reported.
Martin ran off as witnesses called the cops, officials said.
Shortly after the 911 call, Martin, covered in blood, walked into the 42nd Precinct and confessed to her crimes, police added.
She now faces 12 counts of assault, two counts of child abandonment, two counts of child endangerment and two counts of possessing a weapon, police said.
A razor blade was recovered, but it was not immediately clear whether it was the weapon she used to stab her children, officials said.
Martin is undergoing psychiatric evaluation and observation at Lincoln Hospital.
The children were treated at New York Presbyterian Hospital, but their conditions were not immediately clear, according to authorities.

Mom left ‘unrecognizable’ by attack as cops hunt ex-boyfriend
A mother in England was left gravely wounded and “unrecognizable” after being beaten in bed – and cops are now on the hunt for her ex-boyfriend, according to reports.
Britney Salim, 23, suffered internal bleeding, a broken jaw, fractures on her face and a collapsed lung from the heinous assault at her home in the South Yorkshire city of Sheffield on April 12, The Sun reported.
Salim remains in critical, but stable condition in the intensive-care unit at a local hospital.
Police believe that Salim’s attacker climbed up the balcony to her home and busted in through French doors before going after the mother-of-one.
Salim was found unconscious in bed by a family member and was rushed to the hospital.
Authorities are now trying to track down Salim’s ex-boyfriend, 31-year-old Shaka Williams, who is reportedly the father of Salim’s 9-month-old daughter, Priya.
“We have got a big family, and we are all distraught,” said a cousin, who did not want to be named, according to The Sun.
“[Salim] was found by our auntie because [Salim] was babysitting her daughter,” the family member saying, adding that the aunt “went to the house to take her daughter back and as she got there she found Britney practically on death’s door.”
“When her auntie went in, [Salim] was unrecognizable. Her face was black and blue,” the cousin said.
According to the cousin, Salim “has seven broken ribs, internal bleeding in her liver, swelling on her brain, a broken jaw, fractures on her face and a collapsed lung, and she has had to have a blood transfusion.”
“Doctors have said at the minute she isn’t getting any worse, but she is still in an out of consciousness and remains in intensive care,” the cousin said.
The family member noted that Salim has woken up several times and “had outbursts of screaming.”
“She is on morphine to deal with the pain. Her mom is just broken,” the cousin said. “Police have not been able to get a full statement from Britney yet because she isn’t able to speak.”
Police have asked locals if they see Williams or know where he is to get in touch with authorities.

Man who raped teen on FaceTime call busted thanks to screenshots
A brutal rapist who attacked a teenager while she chatted to her boyfriend on FaceTime was caught thanks to him taking screengrabs of the attack.
Samuel Fortes, 27, followed the 19-year-old victim through the England city of Leeds before dragging her under an overpass and raping her during a 15-minute attack.
Although horrified by what he was seeing, the victim’s boyfriend took a screenshot of Fortes stamping on the girl – which was later used by police as evidence.
He called the police and his girlfriend was found a short time after at the scene of the attack, battered and bruised and naked from the waist down.
The victim’s heartbroken dad later said: “It is like you have been growing and protecting a flower for 19 years and all of a sudden somebody just comes and stomps on it.”
The student was returning from a night out with friends when Fortes, who had been lurking in Leeds city centre, spotted her at 3:15 a.m.
He walked alongside the teenager and asked her for her number.
She politely refused and tried to walk off, still chatting to her boyfriend on the mobile phone app.
As she was about to cross a footbridge to walk home, Fortes grabbed her from behind, Leeds Crown Court was told.
Prosecutor David Gordon said: “The victim struggled and told Fortes to get off her.
“He was smirking and she asked him why. His reply was to punch her in the face six times.”
He dragged her from the footbridge to underneath an overpass where she was savagely attacked.
Most of her clothes were ripped off. She suffered a fracture to her face, a broken tooth and extensive swelling to her face and body.
PUNCHED HER SIX TIMES IN THE FACE
The victim feared she was going to die but Fortes was disturbed when three passers-by on the footbridge found her handbag, phone and keys.
They went to look for the victim and found Fortes attacking her. Fortes fled and police were called.
One officer said: “I was also shocked by the injuries to her face. They were some of the worst I have seen in my 11 years of service.”
Fortes spent an hour hiding behind a bush before fleeing back to his home city of Sheffield, South Yorkshire.
But he was caught after a painstaking forensic examination of the scene revealed a single piece of hair which was linked to his DNA.
CCTV also showed him wandering around Leeds city centre before the attack, following his victim, and catching a train afterwards.
He was arrested – with the teen’s blood still on his sneakers.
Fortes admitted rape and wounding with intent at Leeds Crown Court on Monday and on Thursday was jailed for life with a minimum of eight years to be served.
Judge Rodney Jameson QC described the victim’s statement as “the most remarkable I have ever encountered,” adding: “I salute her extraordinary courage.”
The victim, now 20, said in the statement read to the court: “I was and still am sickened by the thought that one human could do that to another. I thought I was going to die. It is a feeling that no words could ever describe.
The court heard Fortes, who came to the UK from Portugal in 2010, has previous convictions for domestic violence against an ex-partner in 2017.

Woman beat boyfriend with his prosthetic leg after he tried to break up with her
A New Orleans-area woman, who beat up her ex-boyfriend with his own prosthetic leg earlier this year because he tried to break up with her, was arrested last Wednesday, police said.
On Feb. 11, Michelle Jackson, 58, was drinking with her now ex-boyfriend when he told her he wanted to see someone else, Capt. Jason Rivarde said. The man went to sleep without incident but awoke the next morning with an injured hand and a large cut on his head that was dripping blood, The Times-Picayune reported.
Jackson, who had left before authorities arrived, allegedly told a relative she had beat the man with his prosthetic leg and thought she had killed him. The woman allegedly told police that she had stabbed him, but Rivarde said there was no evidence.
U.S. Marshals arrested Jackson in her home Wednesday, New Orleans Fox 8 reported. She was booked into the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center on an aggravated battery charge without bond, the report said.
Woman assaults cops, EMT after losing money to pinball machine in bowling alley
A dangerously drunk Monroe woman assaulted police officers and an EMT after she lost money to a pinball machine at a Pennsylvania bowling alley.
Kilee Nicole Cunningham, 36, was asked to leave Blue Mountain Lanes on Moorestown Road Sunday night after she punched the glass of a pinball machine despite being reimbursed for the money.
Cunningham instead asked for more alcohol and chucked a cup of water in the face of an employee when he refused, Lehigh Valley Live reported.
When officers arrived at the scene to speak with her, she was uncooperative and they attempted to take her into custody for public drunkenness.
While restrained in handcuffs in a police vehicle, Cunningham unbuckled her seatbelt and continued to resist officers. She kicked an officer in the chest and headbutted him for trying to return her to the vehicle.
At the Slate Belt Regional police headquarters, she kicked an officer who tried to place her in a holding cell.
Officers requested emergency personnel to take her to a hospital for her severe intoxication.
Cunningham resisted EMTs trying to get her into an ambulance and had to have a spit hood put on her. While inside the ambulance she bit an EMT on the forearm so hard that it left marks.
She was charged with three counts of aggravated assault, three counts of simple assault, one count of resisting arrest and three related offenses, according to Lehigh Valley Live.
Cunningham was arraigned and is being held in Northampton County Prison in lieu of a $30,000 bail.

Cops bust Brooklyn man who went berserk inside deli over bagel order
He’s going from egg sandwiches to bologna behind bars.
The enraged customer who threw bread and a metal bell at a deli worker for making him wait for his bacon, egg and cheese sandwich was arrested Thursday morning by the NYPD’s Warrant Squad in connection with the attack, police said.
Edilberto Burgos, 24, was picked up at his Bed-Stuy apartment just before noon for assaulting the 28-year-old clerk on Nov. 25 at the deli on Flushing Avenue in Bushwick, according to authorities.
“Make my cinnamon toasted raisin bagel with bacon, egg and cheese right now!” he screamed, as he repeatedly banged on the store’s display counter, according to video from the incident.
The footage later shows Burgos throwing store merchandise — and even bread — at the victim, who suffered bruising and swelling.
On Thursday, Burgos was charged with assault and menacing, cops said.
He was previously arrested for petit larceny in February 2015 and for being in possession of a loaded firearm in February 2012, police said.
He is due to appear in Brooklyn court on Thursday.

Woman clubs boyfriend, sits on his face for refusing oral sex
A “very violent” mohawked Missouri woman clobbered her live-in lover as she demanded he perform oral sex on her, the victim and authorities said.
Amy Nicole Parrino, 43, was busted on charges of domestic assault and sexual abuse for the Sunday night incident that occurred at Parrino and the man’s Boone County home, according to a probable cause affidavit obtained by The Smoking Gun.
During the 9:45 p.m. attack, Parrino allegedly punched the man up to 25 times and struck him with a belt, cellphone and brass plate, according to the court filing.
Then a naked Parrino chased the man around the house as he pleaded for her to “leave him alone.”
But Parrino did not relent, as she “pushed him to the ground and then sat on his face,” the victim told police, according to the affidavit.
The victim told investigators that while Parrino “was sitting on his face she said to him ‘eat my p—-y,’” the court document states.
For a “few seconds” during the encounter, the man said, he could not breathe and that he was “scared to death,” according to the affidavit.
The victim later told police that the whole incident made him “sick” to his stomach and that he did not want to do anything sexual with Parrino.
As a result of the incident, the man suffered an up to 4-inch-long cut on both his right arm and his left arm. He also suffered a cut on the bridge of his nose, which the man told authorities “was from when Parrino sat on his face.”
The man was also left with red marks on his chest where he said he was hit with the belt.
According to the victim, “violence” between him and Parrino “has been getting worse and more frequent,” the document says.
He told police he “don’t know what she’s going to do next” and that he “fears for his safety all the time.”
The man added that Parrino will get “very violent, very quickly.”
Parrino was locked up in lieu of $25,000 cash bail, the outlet said.
Parrino wears a ring in her left nostril and a facial piercing near her eye, as well as a black “Buccaneers” jersey in her mug shot.
She was hit with an additional charge for allegedly smearing fecal matter on the walls of a jail cell and breaking a jailhouse phone, according to the website.
A judge ordered Parrino to have no contact with the victim and she has been barred from the man’s residence, according to the site.

22-year-old brat arrested for attacking mom with sausages
This son is the würst!
Police in Florida arrested a hungry 22-year-old jerk who pelted his mom with sausages because she accidentally bumped into him while making his dinner.
Hermes Callijas-Gasperin attacked his mother on October 8 in their Bradenton home, the Smoking Gun reported.
The food fight erupted when Callijas-Gasperin demanded his mom make him dinner, and she said she was busy.
When she did begin to cook his meal — sausages — she accidentally knocked into her son.
The wiener threw the sausages at her, hitting her in the eye, and then put his hands on her neck and pushed her, the report said.
Grilled by Manatee County cops, Callijas-Gasperin claimed he only wanted his mom to apologize. He was arrested and charged with misdemeanor domestic battery.

Man pleads guilty to beating girlfriend to pulp over Snapchat
A Texas man pleaded guilty to beating his teenage girlfriend to a pulp for downloading the Snapchat app, according to reports.
Dameon Marmolejo, 21, appeared in Lubbock County court Monday morning on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in connection to the grisly attack, EverythingLubbock reported.
Prosecutors said Marmolejo attacked 18-year-old Solidad Torres at her home in June 2017 after realizing she had a Snapchat message on her phone.
The girlfriend told police they had met through Snapchat, but she deleted the app when he accused her of cheating.
Torres said he became angry when the message flashed on her phone screen and slapped her across the face for re-downloading the app.
Marmolejo then allegedly threw her to the ground and began to pummel her until she flipped over to protect her head and face. The boyfriend, however, began stomping on her back and head, according to authorities.
She was able to briefly escape to the bathroom, but he forced his way inside and continued to assault her, police said.
He then allegedly slammed her head against the bathtub, leaving her unconscious in a pool of blood, according to news station KCBD.
Following the grisly incident, Torres was hospitalized and required 15 staples on her forehead.
The boyfriend was arrested after authorities matched his sneakers to the bruising pattern on the young woman’s body.
Woman gets knocked out cold, bystanders stop to take selfies
Shocking surveillance video shows the moment a Pittsburgh woman was knocked out cold by a man on a busy sidewalk — but that’s not the worst of it.
The footage also shows the woman being beaten and robbed by bystanders — who proceed to take pictures of her, including selfies — as she lay unconscious on the ground. “They don’t treat animals like that. They wouldn’t treat a dog that way,” the victim’s mother told KDKA on Thursday. “It’s disgusting. My daughter needs help.”
The disturbing incident was caught on camera in the Pittsburgh neighborhood Beechview. The footage was captured more than a month ago, but wasn’t released until this week.
“She’s lying there like somebody just hit a deer,” said Dr. Capretto, a local physician at the Gateway Rehab center who has agreed to treat the victim for an apparent drug addiction.
“It’s like a sideshow in a circus,” he added. “This is a human being.”
In the clip, the woman appears to approach her attacker for a brief second right before he throws his haymaker. A group of men can then be seen walking over to her — cell phones in hand, snapping pictures and video — as she lays unconscious on the sidewalk.
“Nobody called 911 to help her,” a police source told KDKA. “They took what looks like her phone while she’s out cold.”
Shortly after leaving, the men reportedly returned and began taking even more photos.
“They actually come back,” the source said. “A kid lays beside her and takes a selfie.”
According to KDKA, the victim is a known drug addict who has been arrested several times in the past, mostly for illegal substances.
“They deserve to be helped,” Capretto said, describing residents with drug problems.
“This is my oath to help people who are sick,” he added. “I, as a physician, this is my oath to help people who are sick. She’s sick and she needs help.”
