Halloween: Michael Myers Unmasked in Documentary-Style Trailer
A new trailer for the upcoming reboot of John Carpenter’s Halloween unmasks Michael Myers.
The video, which starts out using a documentary-style narration of the events of the original film, features a brief glimpse of Myers without his mask. Although Myers doesn’t appear on screen for long, he’s clearly sustained damaged to his left eye, likely as a result of an injury he suffered at the hands of Laurie Strode in the original film.

‘Avengers Assemble: Black Panther’s Quest’ Review: T’Challa and Shuri Launch into Adventure
if you just can’t get enough of Black Panther, I have some very good news for you. A brand new season of Disney XD’s hit action-oriented animated series Marvel’s Avengers Assemble is about to kick off in a big way this weekend. It not only launches Season 5 with a two-part special premiere, it also sets up the main thrust of this season’s storytelling focus, “Black Panther’s Quest.”
Over the previous four seasons, the gathered Avengers–which have included Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, Black Widow, Falcon, Hawkeye, Thor, Captain Marvel, Ms. Marvel and many more–have tackled the likes of Red Skull and Thanos before taking on the “Ultron Revolution” and “Secret Wars” storylines. Now, thanks in no small part to the smash-hit success of Black Panther and T’Challa in the MCU and Marvel Comics, the Wakandan King (and his sister) are headlining the adventure in a new globe-trotting quest. The hourlong premiere is a perfect way to set up Black Panther’s relationships with the other Avengers, establish the Disney XD version of his sibling rivalry with Shuri, and launch the duo into their own focused storyline.
Before we dig too deep into the review, here’s the two-part special’s trailer to bring you up to speed:
The Black Panther must decide his loyalties. Is he an Avenger first or King of Wakanda? As the mysterious Shadow Council rises to challenge Wakanda, T’Challa teams up with his sister Shuri to go on missions that no other Avenger can.
It’s a globe-trotting journey of espionage and mystery as old foes resurface and new friends are made. In the end, Black Panther must balance defending his home and stopping threats before they start. Is he a sword or a shield? Only he can decide.
Don’t miss the season premiere of Marvel’s Avengers Assemble: Black Panther’s Quest 9/23 at 9:00PM on Disney XD!

Color of Change: Remember the Outcry Over Princess Tiana’s Makeover in Wreck-It Ralph 2? Disney Listened!
You know, we relish every opportunity to use our powers for good, so we were thrilled to hear that an article we published last month helped influence some very positive change at Disney, one of the world’s oldest, largest and most revered movie studios (and self-proclaimed creators of “the happiest place on Earth,” Disneyland).
After we, several other outlets and commenters on social media spoke out about the seeming whitewashing of Disney’s only black princess (as well as its other princesses of color) in its upcoming Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2, our friends at racial justice organization Color of Change launched a campaign lobbying the 79-year-old studio to try harder when it comes to representing one of their rare black characters.
And Disney took note—of the campaign, our article, and the general outcry regarding the appearance of their formerly dark-skinned, wider-nosed and full-lipped princess, who, through the unfortunate magic of CGI, had been homogenized into a button-nosed, sandy and curly-haired pixie who basically looked like a super-tan version of all the other Disney princesses.

Ralph Breaks the Internet’s New Trailer Promises to ‘Never Give You Up’
Article via: Ralph Breaks the Internet’s New Trailer Promises to ‘Never Give You Up’
It’s time for cat memes, princess selfies, and the darkest corners of the webiverse in the latest look at Disney’s sequel Ralph Breaks the Internet.
The new trailer for Ralph Breaks the Internet shows us more of the plot behind this web-friendly sequel to 2015’s Wreck-It Ralph. Take a look…
The steering wheel on Vanellope’s (Sarah Silverman) driving game broke in half—must’ve been a really strong preteen driving the game that night. Fearing that Sugar Rush could get shut down for good, Ralph (John C. Reilly) suggests they go to the internet to get a new steering wheel.
Only problem: They need money. So they check out a free-to-play mobile game called Slaughter Race, which features fellow driver Shank (Gal Gadot). Vanellope is drawn into the digital world, which only shines a light on how different she is from older video game characters. And Shank can relate to this, becoming a sort-of big sister to Vanellope…much to Ralph’s dismay.
Oh, and if you thought that exploding bunny was bad, just wait until you see what happens to the junkyard dog.
The film also stars Taraji P. Henson as the trend algorithm behind BuzzzTube (get it, because internet things), and sees the return of Jack McBrayer as Fix-It Felix Jr., who’s married to Sergeant Tamora Jean Calhoun (Jane Lynch).
Ralph Breaks the Internet heads to theaters on November 21.
Life-Size 2 Will Reunite Tyra Banks and Lindsay Lohan
It seems as though all of our childhoods are being brought back around.
Lindsay Lohan’s movies are some of the most important parts of our our childhood and preteen years. Now, in December Life Size 2 will premiere, 18 years after the first movie aired.
it has Tyra Banks back in the lead as a life-size doll that comes to life. The model-turned-actress is promising that her original co-star Lindsay Lohan will be showing up too.
Tyra Banks is excited to be returning to the fictional town of Sunnyvale in Life-Size 2. She stars as Eve, a living doll who has already dabbled in a medical career, aerospace design and the fashion industry, really giving Barbie a run for her money. Banks had this to say about the unexpected sequel that most fans didn’t even really know they wanted.
The original premiered as a Disney Channel original movie way back in 2000. Lindsay Lohan was just getting started, starring as Casey Stuart, a girl who transformers her favorite doll into the perfect living, breathing, thinking woman. Banks was initially disappointed that Lohan couldn’t return for the sequel. Even though the actress turned international resort owner and future MTV star had expressed a deep interest in being in the movie. Banks says this.
“She has this new TV show on MTV about this club so she couldn’t make it, which was sad. [Lindsay] will be in the movie in some kind of way. We’ll see where that ends up.”
Though Lindsay Lohan wasn’t around for initial shooting, she will be participating in the movie. Banks has a new co-star to contend with this time around too. Grown-ish star Francia Raisa will be stepping in to occupy some of the space left by Lohan. And apparently, Banks and Raisa really hit it off. Tyra goes onto say this.
“We went to a spa together before we started shooting and that really bonded us. That girl can act, it’s in her eyes.”
Life-Sized 2 won’t be debuting on the Disney Channel. Instead, it will be part of Freeform’s 25 Days of Christmas line-up, hinting at a Christmas themed story this time around. While talking about Life-Size 2 with The Hollywood Reporter, Tyra Banks also revealed that, should her long-running reality competition series America’s Next Top Model return for another season, it will probably mark the beginning of the end. She says this about wanting to bring it all to a close with this next possible run of episodes.
“I wonder, should I stop at [season] 25? Because I don’t want it to stop at, like, 29. You know what I mean? You want it to stop at a round number.”
Tyra Banks went onto say that the original Life-Size theme song is going to be revamped for the sequel. She didn’t provide any more info on Lindsay Lohan’s return, but it sounds like it might be nothing more than a glamorized cameo. Well, us Life-Size fans will take what we can get.
