Tyrese’s Child Abuse Case Has Been Dropped
We all watched Tyrese crying hysterically over the possibility of being separated from his daughter.
“Don’t take my baby, OK? I’ve been waiting on my baby for two months. I just wanna see my baby,” he was crying to a camera. He continued in agony, “What more do you want from me?!” (Was I the only one who felt as though his crying was… staged? Forced?)
Since then, the star’s wife, Samantha Lee, went on social media and suggested that people pray for the problems that her family is going through. I am sure there were some saints out there who did offer prayers. Thankfully, it looks like those prayers have worked. Tyrese’s abuse case has officially been dismissed.
“E! News can confirm the Department of Child and Family Services has closed its investigation into the actor after his ex-wife, Norma Gibson, claimed he beat their 10-year-old daughter, Shayla,” E! declared. “We’ve learned the LADCFS will not be pressing any criminal charges against the Fast and Furious star.”
We hope that this is the best situation for Shayla.
Hopefully, Tyrese will stop acting out, at least for all the world to see.

Black Panther Excitement
With Black Panther about 3-4 months away from being released into theaters, a lot of us have very high expectations for this movie.
For me, I have nothing but high expectations for this movie. Judging from how the trailer looks i expect nothing but the best from Black Panther. One of the things that I look forward to is the technological advances of Wakanda. As we all know, if Wakanda was a real country we would all pack up and move there if we could. It is going to be very interesting to see how much vibranium has advanced the country.
The second thing I want to see are the different Black Panther suits that T’Challa has and what they can do. It has been shown That T’Challa owns more than one suit. One specifically looks like it absorbs kinetic energy then releases it. I’d love to se if the costume from Civil War has the same effect as well.
As with every super hero movie there will always be a villain, and in Black Panther’s case there’s three. I’m anxious to see what The Claw, M’Baku and Erik Killmonger bring to the table. More specifically Killmonger and his Jaguar suit. It will be great to see these rivalries on the big screen in February next year and I can’t wait for its Sequels.

Rapper, Gucci Mane, and his fiancé, Keyshia Ka’oir, have always been very candid about their love story. Just a few weeks ago, the blogs were in a tizzy when Gucci Mane revealed that he doesn’t permit Keyshia to perform oral sex on him because he thinks it’s disrespectful. Interesting. Keyshia, likewise, is raising eyebrows with what she revealed during a recent interview. She told Page 6 that she knew she was in love with Gucci Mane when she gave him a bath.
“I went on tour with Gucci in 2010 — that is when it really started to get serious. I fell in love with Gucci when I bathed him … I put him in a shower and just bathed him. I just did things to him and he looked at me and said, ‘Wow, no one has ever bathed me before.
“I am a traditional Jamaican lady, that is what you do. You take care of your man,”
If there are any Jamaican women reading this, please teach us a thing or two.
The love between Keyshia and Gucci does seem genuine and wholesome. This is evident in this pure moment they had in the bathtub.
But because this seems like such an intimate moment – although a bit strange – they should have reserved the moment for the two of them and the two of them only (because I know y’all have jokes).

Banana Republic Employee Alleges Store Manager Said Her Hair Was “Too Urban” For Their Store
On Wednesday, Destiny Tompkins shared a social media status, wherein she alleges that her manager at Banana Republic chastised her for wearing her hair in braids.
Her post reads:
So today I went into work at Banana Republic at the Westchester Mall and after the district manager (a white woman) popped in for a visit, I was told to go to the office to speak with my manager, Michael (Mike), who is a white man. I came in and he questioned me about the dress code and immediately, I thought there was something wrong with my outfit but he sat me down and questioned my hair instead. He told me that my braids were not Banana Republic appropriate and that they were too “urban” and “unkempt” for their image. He said that if I didn’t take them out then he couldn’t schedule me for shifts until I did. When I tried to explain to him that it was a protective style for my hair bc it tends to become really brittle in the cold, he recommended that I use shea butter for it instead. I have never been so humiliated and degraded in my life by a white person. In that moment, I felt so uncomfortable and overwhelmed that I didn’t even finish my work shift and ended up leaving. When my friend’s mom called the store to find out my manager’s last name (only been working there a month so idk it), he refused to give it to her. Box braids are not a matter of unprofessionalism, they are protective styles black women have used for their hair and to be discriminated against because of it is truly disgusting and unacceptable. Make this public bc they need to be exposed for their blatant racism and discrimination. There’s no reason why a white person should feel allowed to tell me that I can’t wear my hair the way that I want bc it’s too black for their store image. #boycottbanana Banana Republic

Cam Newton Disses ‘Female’ Reporter

The proverbial foot in mouth syndrome strikes again.
Cam Newton, a Carolina Panthers QB, was taking questions from the media when Jourdan Rodrigue asked how he felt about WR Devin Funchess being more physical when running his routes.
Newton laughed and then said, “It’s funny to hear a female talk about routes.”
Jourdan — who covers the Panthers for the Charlotte Observer — replied on Twitter, “I don’t think it’s ‘funny’ to be a female and talk about routes. I think it’s my job.”
When asked if anyone spoke with Cam after the incident she said, “I spoke with him after and it was worse.”
“I chose not to share, because I have an actual job to do today and one he will not keep me from.”

Gabrielle Union’s New Book: “I Have Had Eight or Nine Miscarriages
In two weeks, actress Gabrielle Union will release her first ever memoir, titled “We’re Going to Need More Wine: Stories That Are Funny, Complicated, and True.”
Even though Union and Dwayne Wade are raising Wade’s two sons and his nephew, and another son that is not allowed in any family pictures, Union and Wade don’t have any biological children together.
Now Union opens up about her infertility issues. On Wednesday, PEOPLE magazine released an exclusive excerpt of the new memoir, where the actress details her infertility issues in several attempts to have a baby with NBA star husband, Dwyane Wade.
“I have had eight or nine miscarriages,” the Union wrote. “For three years, my body has been a prisoner of trying to get pregnant – I’ve either been about to go into an IVF cycle, in the middle of an IVF cycle, or coming out of an IVF cycle.”
Although the actress has opened up about IVF before, she declined to detail the struggles she has faced after three years of failed cycles. But, throughout the heartbreaking trauma, she revealed that she and her husband “remain bursting with love and ready to do anything to meet the child we’ve both dreamed of.”
“For so many women, and not just women in the spotlight, people feel very entitled to know, ‘Do you want kids?’” she told PEOPLE, after revealing that she never wanted to have children until she became a stepmom to her husband’s three sons and nephew. “A lot of people, especially people that have fertility issues, just say ‘no’ because that’s a lot easier than being honest about whatever is actually going on. People mean so well, but they have no idea the harm or frustration it can cause.”

I truly think these two “parents” were just trying to making excuses for what their lack of control. I agree with Ti “Not all money is good money. It’s better to have integrity then to try and do anything to get views, To try and get quick cash because you never know how that might come back.”

People of color are only helped by selective hearing.
