With da quickness I will ask (Siri) what song is this? And she politely answers “Just one moment”. And like magic she pulls up the name of the song I was bobbin my head to. The song is pettles. The artist Frook. Within One second I downloaded all his albums! And been listening to him on and off all week sense!

50 Cent on His Oldest Son: ‘I Didn’t Think That Success Would Cost Me My Firstborn’
50 Cent spoke with Van Lathan about his new book Hustle Harder, Hustle Smarter on Tuesday night but the conversation would shift to his son, Marquise Jackson.
Fif would detail despite not being in his life, Marquise had everything he didn’t have due to over $1 million in child support.
“It is sad, it’s a sad situation,” 50 said. “When you pray for success, you don’t necessarily pray for the things that come with it. It’s no such thing as success without jealousy without envy or entitlement.
“I didn’t think that success would cost me my firstborn but it’s the situation it is. Like, my grandfather used to say, ‘If it rattles like a snake and slithers like a snake, is it a snake or do you need to be bit?’”
Marquise had some words for 50 last week after the rapper joked about accepting 6ix9ine before his own son.
“I just woke up I had a long day on the Gram yesterday. I didn’t get a chance to hop in the most gangsta live ever,” Marquise said.
He would go on to play the clip where 50 said he would claim Tekashi first.
“Did he just say he would claim a rat?,” Marquise said. “Aw nah, I don’t want no part of that cheese y’all eating over there big fella.”

Pioneering Hip-Hop Journalist Dee Barnes Is Now Homeless
Check out Dee Barnes’ GoFundMe campaign here.
Dee Barnes has been evicted from her home after a long financial struggle.
In a new interview, Barnes revealed she’s now homeless. “I had never asked for public help before, but I then remembered a long time ago while I was going through the assault trial in 1991 people were sending me checks for my legal fees. I never cashed any of them — not one — but knowing I had that support kept me strong enough to continue to face each court date,” she told HipHopDx.
She continued, “right now, I am officially homeless. My goal with the campaign is to regain stability, which is imperative for survivors of any trauma.”
Barnes had recently created a GoFundMe explaining her situation.
A post on her account reads, “Standing in our own truth not the definitions or the expectations is powerful, and this is my TRUTH…Yes, I did post the link to my PayPal, CashApp and GooglePay accounts asking for help because I am in the process of being evicted. This page was created as an emergency fund to stop the process and the subsequent legal fees. Even though I am facing extreme financial hardship, I keep my head up. I know who I am, I know my worth and I know I’m not alone.”
As the host of Pump It Up! Barnes became the first female hip-hop journalist to have a broadcast television show. Her career derailed in 1991, after being brutally attacked by Dr. Dre. Barnes filed criminal charges against Dre and a civil suit followed before they settled out of court in 1993.
Dre, who had long dismissed the story, spoke on his history of abusing women during an episode of HBO’s The Defiant Ones, saying he was “out of his fucking mind.” The music mogul referred to abuse as “a major blemish” on who he is as a man.
After the attack, Barnes says she continues to have migraines 28 years later, and believes that she was blackballed by the industry.
“As far as the subject matter of my past history with Dr. Dre and my current situation, I will say any time a women tells her account of abuse from a public figure, there is always extreme backlash,” she said in the interview. “Women are punished first by the crime committed against them and then for holding abusers accountable for their actions and speaking out against domestic violence and sexual assault. Survivors should be able to hold people in positions of power accountable for their actions without losing their own power.”
In 2016, Dre threatened to sue Sony Pictures over the release of the TV movie Surviving Compton: Dre, Suge & Michel’le, which depicted him as a violent abuser to former girlfriend and singer Michel’le.
Michel’le has gone on record with allegations of physical abuse against Dre.

Meet Adonis, Drake’s Son
Canadian rapper Drake has shared his first pictures on social media of his two-year-old son, Adonis Graham. The “God’s Plan” hitmaker took to Instagram Monday with an emotional post about missing his family and friends as the coronavirus lockdown restrictions continue to affect billions across the globe.
“What is most important for you right now is to connect to your own inner light,” he captioned a series of pictures of his loved ones, including the curly-haired toddler.
“This will create the biggest opening of all. Trust that you have all of the power within to make this happen, and in order to do that connect to the people and things that bring you a lot of joy. When the mind starts to move into overthinking or fear, shift your attention right away to something bright.”
The 33-year-old musician, whose real name is Aubrey Graham, went on to urge his 64.5 million followers to “break free of the wheel of suffering and panic and open up to your own light” in his philosophical message, adding: “We are powerful manifestors.”
He concluded his online outpouring by declaring: “I love and miss my beautiful family and friends and I can’t wait for the joyful day when we are all able to reunite. Until then please keep your lights on.”
In one image, Drake is seen holding the little boy in his arms. Another shows Adonis being embraced by both Drake and his mother, former porn star Sophie Brussaux.Brussaux announced the birth of Adonis in October 2017, but Drake initially kept it a secret. He hinted that he had fathered a child following the brief romance in his 2018 track “Emotionless,” rapping the lines: “I wasn’t hidin’ my kid from the world. I was hidin’ the world from my kid.”
A representative for Drake confirmed to CNN that the child pictured in the photos was his son.

Panthers releasing Cam Newton after nine seasons
The Carolina Panthers already said goodbye to Cam Newton. The team now made the split official.
The Panthers are releasing the former NFL MVP as soon as Tuesday, NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero and Mike Garafolo reported.
Carolina announced last Tuesday that it had allowed Newton to seek a trade. With few potential landing spots, no leverage, and major questions about his health, none materialized. The team moved on a week later.
The No. 1 overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft instantly became the face of the Panthers franchise, leading Carolina to three straight NFC South titles from 2013-2015, a Super Bowl and four total postseason appearances.
Newton earned the 2015 NFL MVP award and was named to three Pro Bowls during his run in Carolina.
It all deteriorated quickly for the hulking quarterback, however, as injuries took their toll over the past three seasons.
Newton underwent multiple shoulder surgeries and missed all but two games in 2019 due to a foot injury that ultimately required a procedure.
The lingering health questions left no team willing to part ways with draft assets to acquire a quarterback on the last year of his contract and one who would likely have wanted an extension.
The end to Newton’s run in Carolina came swiftly. After trade winds swirled at the close of the season, the Panthers‘ new coach Matt Rhule insisted during the NFL Scouting Combine he “absolutely” wanted Newton back.
Weeks later, the Panthers reversed gears, announcing last week that Newton could seek a trade — phrasing the quarterback rejected, saying the team “forced me into this,” in what can only be described as a bitter divorce spat. The same day, Carolina already had a replacement, signing Teddy Bridgewater to a three-year, $63 million contract, with $33 million fully guaranteed at signing.
With Bridgewater in the building and no trade options, the Panthers officially cut ties with Newton, who is now the top free agent available, ahead of pass rusher Jadeveon Clowney, according to NFL.com.
Turning 31 in May, Newton enters a quarterback market flush with options and few starting chairs left. The Chicago Bears already traded for Nick Foles to compete with Mitchell Trubisky. The Los Angeles Chargers insist they’re rolling with Tyrod Taylor (and potentially a draft pick). New England recently signed veteran Brian Hoyer, potentially to compete with Jarrett Stidham for a starting job.
NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported the Panthers had trade talks with the Bears and Chargers before deciding to release Newton, but found no takers.
With the NFL’s current policy restricting player physicals, it could be difficult for Newton to find a home quickly.
When he is able to land on a squad, questions will linger about what type of quarterback that new team is getting. Is it the bulldozing force who whipped darts off his backfoot, was a menace on the ground and was the biggest red-zone threat in football? Or is it the injury-plagued player who struggled to make throws more than five yards out?
Newton’s journey in Carolina is over. Where he goes next is a question that could linger.

Shaquille O’Neal Says Dwyane Wade Was Second Coming of Kobe Bryant
Article via HeatNation
NBA Hall of Famer and former Miami Heat player Shaquille O’Neal recently made an appearance on the “Scoop B Radio” podcast to discuss his career on and off the court as well as other topics.
During the show, O’Neal talked about the similarities among some of the best players he was teammates with during his career and compared Heat legend Dwyane Wade to former Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant, who passed away in a helicopter crash in January.
“Penny [Hardaway] was a young Magic Johnson and I was a young Kareem [Abdul-Jabbar],” said O’Neal when asked to break down the differences between the stars he played with. “Kobe was a young Michael Jordan before he became Michael Jordan. And LeBron [James] is both of them combined. And D-Wade (Dwyane Wade) was Kobe when he was coming into his own. I’ll just put it like that.”
During his 19-year career, O’Neal played with some of the biggest stars in NBA history.
He was teammates with Hardaway in Orlando, Bryant, Karl Malone and Gary Payton in Los Angeles, Wade in Miami, Steve Nash and Grant Hill in Phoenix, James in Cleveland, and Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett in Boston.
O’Neal won three rings with the Lakers and won another with the Heat. He won the Rookie of the Year award in 1993 as a member of the Orlando Magic and the NBA’s Most Valuable Player award in 2000 as a member of the Lakers.

Fetty Wap Ordered To Pay Ex-Employee $1.1M & Help Restore Her Reputation
Fetty Wap has been ordered to pay a former tour staffer over $1.1 million for defamation and breach of contract.
According to Bossip, Shawna Morgan sued the rapper and his Goodfella4life Entertainment company for not reimbursing her thousands of dollars in touring costs after 2017. While Morgan was supposed to be paid between five and 10 percent of Fetty’s performance profits, she was regularly expected to cover up-front touring expenses, which Fetty was supposed to reimburse.
Besides owing Morgan upwards of $242,000, Fetty also publicly claimed that she had stolen money from him and was double-dipping by charging both Goodfella4life Entertainment and their clients. Morgan fired back against his alleged slander with her lawsuit, claiming that Fetty had damaged her business reputation.
A judge initially sided with Morgan because Fetty didn’t respond to the suit. However, he appealed to have the case reinstated, and he and Morgan went to arbitration, where he was ordered to pay her $160,000. Rather than pay the ordered amount, Fetty demanded that the suit be taken to trial, where the jury ultimately sided with Morgan and added over $800,000 to his tab.
Along with paying $1.1 million for defamation and breach of contract, Fetty is also required to issue retractions for press outlets that reported his false claims, post public retractions on his social media accounts and take out ad space in “prominent entertainment publications” to restore Morgan’s name.
So far, the rapper hasn’t posted any redacting statements on his social media profiles. This past Valentine’s Day (February 14), he released his seven-track Trap & B EP.
