Canadian Woman Who Got Tattoo on Her Eyeball May Lose Eye, Is Warning Others About Procedure
Catt Gallinger, 24, from Ontario, Canada, is warning others of the drastic consequences of getting a “sclera tattoo” — a tinting of the whites of the eyes to another color using a hypodermic needle — after getting purple ink injected her right eye. Gallinger said that she got the tattoo in mid-September and since then, it has swelled, purpled, leaked colored tears and her vision could be permanently ruined.
According to the model, who has been posting written and video updates to her Facebook page, the damage was “caused by undiluted ink, over injection, (and/or) not enough/smaller injections sights” during the procedure.
Gallinger’s eye initially began leaking the light purple ink before swelling shut. Three weeks later, the sclera itself began to swell and hemorrhage, with the sclera tearing due to a puncture from the needle, leading to irritation, double and blurred vision. Doctors gave Gallinger drops and ointments to contain the swelling, dispel the ink, dilate the pupil and help disperse the ink.
Doctors are concerned the equipment wasn’t sterile, due to an infection caused by the ink, Gallinger said. A commenter on one of her videos asked if she was planning to take legal action, she simply said, “yes.”
Gallinger acknowledged that she should not have trusted the artist, who repeatedly asked her to get the tattoo done, but also said he should not be insisting on performing a sensitive procedure without proper training. Gallinger warns others to do their research on artists, body modification procedures, and to reach out to others to get feedback.
After receiving comments that what she did was “stupid,” Gallinger said in an emotional video on Sep. 25: “you know what? You really think that after something like this, I’m not the first person thinking that? I’m the first person to think that every single time I look at myself.” Gallinger, who wears light sensitive dark glasses inside and outside, is completely discouraged from continuing her modeling career.
“I don’t see myself ever being comfortable enough to do another shoot. I can barely look at myself except for when I have to do my treatments,” she wrote on Sept. 23.
Her most recent post said she was waiting to meet a cornea specialist.
“I am sharing this to warn you to research who you get your procedures by as well as how the procedure should be properly done,” Gallinger wrote in her first public post about the incident.
Doctors have done corneal tattoos for medical reasons and to cover discoloration from disease or injury, but the trend of sclera tattoos as a cosmetic body modification can be traced to 2007, with posts on BME.com, a body modification blog, about a “highly experimental procedure that should not be emulated.” Currently, the site has more than 100 pictures of users’ tinted eyeballs. In Oklahoma, the state Senate passed a bill declaring sclera tattoos illegal in 2009.

Georgia Teen Murderer Arrested In Staten Island
A Georgia teen on the run for a double murder has been found and arrested. 17 year old Akilee Zakee Wilson will be extradited back to Georgia after cops found him in a housing complex on Staten Island.
Cops say Wilson was involved in a shooting between two rival groups in Canton, Georgia. When the dust settled, one man was found dead, another injured and one who was wounded but died enroute to the hospital.
Police charged three other men, one of them being the brother of one of the victims, with murder, and a fourth one with obstruction of an officer, in connection with the shooting back in July.
It’s amazing how a lot of young people are throwing their lives away over something that was probably petty more than likely.

Tamar Braxton’s Husband Ordered to Pay Sony $3.7 Million
Tamar Braxton’s husband and business partner, Vincent Herbert, has been ordered to pay Sony almost $4 million.
Music exec Vincent Herbert was ordered to pay up after a judge sided with Sony in their legal battle over a 2013 advance. According to the lawsuit Sony paid Herbert to find new talent, and part of the deal required payments back from Interscope Records.
However, Sony sued Herbert, claiming he started intercepting the money from Interscope in October 2015, in turn cheating Sony out of recouping the advance.
Herbert failed to respond to the lawsuit, and the judge issued a default judgment. Now, including interest, Vince has to pay $3,738,515.93 to Sony.
We caught up to Tamar this weekend and she responded to ruling: “Lies!”
Just kidding… share your thoughts below.

IT Movie Review (Slight Spoilers)
Yes I’m late on this but better late than never. A few weeks ago I saw the remake of Stephen King’s novel IT. I can honestly say that this is one of the best horror films that I’ve seen in a very long time.
As most of us know IT tells the story of 7 kids known as the Loser’s Club encountering and eventually combating a mysterious shapeshifting entity called IT also known by its favorite form; Pennywise the Dancing Clown.
Let me start off by saying the the major thing that I enjoyed a lot about this movie are the kids. Their acting was on point and all of them were very likable. The movie took its time to show each of the kids back stories and what fears Pennywise uses to scare them.
One thing that I particularly noticed how they balance the horror and suspense with comedy, when the kids aren’t being terrorized by Pennywise the scenes with them are actually very hilarious. It pretty much shows just how kids act when their parents aren’t around.
Now let’s move on to our main villain, IT otherwise known as Pennywise the Dancing Clown. Compared to the 90s miniseries this version of Pennywise is definitely more deranged than its previous 90s counterpart. Bill Skarsgard did an amazing job as Pennywise and was very intimidating.
The only gripes I can saw I can have with this movie are the bullies getting off a little too easy and Ben Hanscom being the historian of the group vs Mike Hanlon
Overall I can say that I definitely got my money’s worth when I saw this movie and I look forward to its sequel in 2019. Hopefully the sequel can carry the same tone as this one. On a scale of 1-10 I give IT a solid 9!
Abandoned Infant Found on Side of Oklahoma Interstate With $5,500 Cash, Birth Certificate
A 1-month-old baby boy found along an Oklahoma City area interstate over the weekend was found with $5,500 cash stuffed in the car seat and a birth certificate, according to police.
A church group found the baby abandoned in a car seat along I-40 in Oklahoma on Saturday, according to KTLA sister station KFOR in Oklahoma City.
The driver of the church group’s van noticed a car seat on the side of the Interstate 40. He initially thought there was a doll inside the car seat, but he noticed two feet kicking inside the car seat and immediately pulled over.
According to Sgt. Gary Knigh, officers also found a Social Security card, cash, and a birth certificate with the baby.
According to KFOR, it was 91 degrees when the baby was found. Police said it’s unlikely the baby was on the side of the road for more than 30 minutes.
The baby was in good health and taken to a local hospital for an evaluation.
The baby’s mother was located through family members and was also being evaluated at a local hospital.
No names were released in the incident.
Authorities say it is too early in the investigation to determine if charges will be filed. According to the police report, the baby has been placed in protective custody.
California boy, 8, killed with hammer trying to protect younger sister from mother’s abusive ex-boyfriend molestation
An 8-year-old boy in California was killed trying to protect his younger sister from their mother’s ex-boyfriend.
Dante Daniels, who had just started the third grade at South Sacramento’s Oakridge Elementary, was brutally beaten with a hammer during the early morning of Sept. 1. He died from his injuries six days later.
A criminal complaint states that 23-year-old Deandre Chaney Jr. was performing a criminal lewd act on Dante’s 7-year-old sister when the little boy stepped in to help, Fox 40 reports.
Chaney, who pleaded no contest last year to a charge of failing to register as a sex offender, was the ex-boyfriend of Dante’s mother, 28-year-old Elizabeth Salone.
“The guy beat my grandson with a hammer,” Monique Brown, the children’s grandmother told Fox 40. “Down to his spine. They couldn’t save his brain.”
The criminal complaint states that Chaney used lighter fluid during the attack, and at point turned the hammer and a knife on Dante’s sister.
“Trying to save his sister from this child molester and that’s why he was beat the worst.” Brown said.
According to an arrest warrant, the children were home alone with Chaney when the attack happened. Salone had asked him to watch her children while she took her brother to work, the Sacramento Bee reports.
When she returned home, she heard one of her children crying. Salone told detectives that she was “struck at least three times” with a hammer from behind as she went to check on her child. Chaney then tied her up and poured lighter fluid on her.
Police said he grabbed her car keys and some other items and left in Salone’s vehicle. Chaney was captured a day after the attack in Nevada hiding in someone’s backyard.
Both Salone and her daughter survived, but Salone’s left eye was damaged during the attack.
“She will probably never see out of her left eye,” Brown said. “My granddaughter will need a lot of help.”
Brown said even after Dante’s death, he’s continuing to help people. A 4-year-old boy in California received Dante’s heart.
Chaney was arraigned on murder, attempted murder and charged with lewd acts with a child under 14.
The family started a GoFundMe as Salone and her daughter recover.
NFL stadium worker quits job after national anthem protest
SOME PEOPLE JUST DON’T GET WHAT IT MEANS TO BE AN AMERICAN
“I Disapprove of What You Say, But I Will Defend to the Death Your Right to Say It”
ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. – Several Bills players knelt during the national anthem. Others locked arms.
“I can’t stand and support something where our leader of this country is just acting like a jerk,” LeSean McCoy said in a post-game press conference.
It was a show of solidarity for members of the NFL who believe President Trump’s remarks Friday evening toward players were divisive, but there were plenty of people –fans, players, politicians–arguing both sides.
Stadium worker Erich Nikischer quit his job at New Era Field after almost 30 years.
“I waited until the National Anthem ended, I took off my shirt, threw my Bills hat on the ground, walked out,” Nikischer said in a sit-down interview with Channel 2 at his West Seneca home.
Nikischer says he has no problem with players protesting before the National Anthem. It’s when the kneeling continued into the song that strong feelings took over…..

Stephen A. Smith Points Out NFL’s Paid Patriotism Problem
Original article Sep 14 2016
Late last month, as the country was only just becoming consumed by Colin Kaepernick, Tom E. Curran of Comcast Sportsnet New England reported that, actually, NFL players did not typically stand for the national anthem until 2009. Somehow this escaped many of us until, uh, Stephen A. Smith highlighted it this morning on First Take.
Responding to a tip from one of his “boys,” Smith brought up the fact that until 2009—eight years and a new Presidential administration after 9/11—players weren’t on the field for the national anthem and instead generally remained in the locker room. According to Smith’s boy (and the researcher at ESPN who checked it), the switch happened “because it was seen as a marketing…….

President Donald Trump just might’ve helped Colin Kaepernick get back in the NFL
It’s all about the money
President Donald Trump just might’ve helped Colin Kaepernick get back in the NFL. Trump spoke to a Huntsville, Ala., crowd on Friday night and did what he’s done best since taking office: continue to rip the fabric of America down the racial seam.
During his rambling, empathetically racist rant, Trump exclaimed:
“Wouldn’t you love to see one of these NFL owners, when somebody disrespects our flag, to say, ‘Get that son of a bitch off the field right now, out. He’s fired. He’s fired!,’” Trump said. “The crowd of supporters erupted in cheers. The president was referring to former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick, who, last year led a non-violent, silent protest against the killings of unarmed African……
