Dwanye Johnson The Rock says tabloid interview 100 percent false

Interviews

Dwanye Johnson widely known as “The Rock” has said the interview in which he is reported to have criticized General Snowflake never happened, calling it 100 percent false.

The wrestler-turned Hollywood star posted a  video t his  Instagram, explaining “the interview never took place, never happened, never said any of those words, completely untrue, 100 percent fabricated. I was quite baffled when i woke up this morning”.

In the clip he said “you know its is not real DJ interview if I am ever insulting a group, a generation or anyone. That’s not me, that is not who I am”.

The “Rampage” star added:”I always encourage empathy. I  encourage growth, but most importantly, I encourage everybody to be exactly who they want to be.

Generation Snowflake is  a term used for the young adults of the 2010s as being more prone to taking offence and having less psychological resilience than previous generations, or as being too emotionally vulnerable to cope with views that challenge their own.

‘The Rock’ laments ‘snowflake’ culture

Interviews

Actor Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson lamented the “snowflake” culture in an interview with the U.K.’s Daily Star published on Friday.

Johnson, who has toyed with the idea of politics, told the publication that snowflakes’ complaints do a disservice to the war heroes who fought for freedom of speech.

‘THE ROCK’ HAD EPIC RESPONSE TO TEEN’S ‘PROMPOSAL’

“So many good people fought for freedom and equality – but this generation are looking for a reason to be offended,” he said. “If you are not agreeing with them then they are offended – and that is not what so many great men and women fought for.”

He said he may not agree with what someone thinks, who they voted for, but he will support their “right say or believe it,” according to the publication.

“That’s democracy,” he said.

“We thankfully now live in a world that has progressed over the last 30 or 40 years,” the 46-year-old superstar continued. “People can be who they want, be with who they want, and live how they want.

“That can only be a good thing – but generation snowflake or, whatever you want to call them, are actually putting us backwards.”

Spiritual ‘healer’ featured on Oprah accused of sexual abuse

Interviews, News & Info

RIO DE JANEIRO — Ten women in Brazil have accused a self-styled spiritual healer of sexually abusing them at a clinic in the central-western state of Goias.

The accusations against Joao Teixeira de Faria, known as John of God, were made Saturday night on the Globo TV network.

It was not immediately clear if Farias was being investigated by prosecutors.

In a statement to the G1 news portal, Faria’s press office said: “John of God vehemently denies having committed any inappropriate behavior during his treatments.”

Faria’s faith-based healing skills drew the attention of TV host Oprah Winfrey, who said on her website that she interviewed him at his clinic in 2013 and saw him performing psychic surgeries.

Faria’s website says he has treated former President Bill Clinton and Brazil’s ex-President Luiz Inacio da Silva.

Mariah Carey’s legendary Jennifer Lopez shade was her ‘trying to be nice’

Interviews, News & Info

It was so shady that it’s now one of the most popular memes and gifs of all times.

Years ago, Mariah Carey was asked during an interview about fellow singer/actress Jennifer Lopez. Carey shook her head and proclaimed, “I don’t know her.”
In a recent interview with Pitchfork, Carey offered her explanation for how the moment of shade came about.
“I really was trying to say something nice or say nothing at all,” the superstar said. “I really was.”
(Notice how in explaining the shade, Carey seemed even more shady.)
People on the internet seemingly can’t get enough of the whole thing. The Guardian named it “pop’s shadiest power move.”
“You have to embrace it,” Carey told Pitchfork, when it comes to the memes and the gifs. Though having her words and actions so thoroughly dissected is not always the greatest thing, Carey added.
“I try to stay away from it because you can’t drown in that,” she said. “I don’t know how people read comments all the time and then survive.”

Mary J. Blige Says Kim Porter Tried To Protect Her From Kendu Isaacs From The Very Beginning

Interviews, News & Info

On Saturday, Kim Porter was laid to rest in her hometown of Columbus, Georgia. Days later though, more and more is coming out about the heartwarming speeches given during the funeral service, including from Diddy, her son Quincy Brown, and now, Mary J. Blige. In an audio clip from the funeral obtained by The Blast, the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul opened up about how protective Porter was of her friends and family. She mentioned a time when, before Blige was set to marry Kendu Isaacs, Porter quizzed her about whether or not she was sure about him. Blige said thinking back on the questions now, she realizes she could have avoided a lot of heartbreak and pain had she taken heed to what Porter was asking and saying to her:

In 2003, my brother invited me to a boat ride [laughs], yacht ride. I’d never been on one before. It was the year I got married and he said, “This is going to be your honeymoon.” It was a honeymoon because every day I got to see him and Kim be romantic. And the most beautiful part, I got to know her, and that’s when she became my friend. She was protective over me. She asked me was I ready. She was like a mom: “Are you ready for this?” She made me question myself a lot. I think about those questions now she asked me now that I’m in the situation I’m in. Kim was always a protector, she protected me. And every time I saw her, I just felt like I was seeing my grandmother or somebody. It was just that much love and beauty. So I just want to say, what an angel. She protected us, she’s still protecting us. I love you Kim Porter, so much. This is why I’m standing up here, because I don’t do all of this speaking very well. But I’m here because… [cries] I just saw you two weeks ago. I was just dancing with you. I can’t even believe this is happening. I love you. Thank y’all.

Blige would go on to wed Isaacs at the end of that year, on December 7, 2003. In July of 2016, she filed for divorce, they battled over her money for a long time, and ultimately, the divorce was finalized in June of this year. When speaking on their contentious split and how she was doing after the fact, Blige told Variety in 2017 that she realized Isaacs had been a “con artist” all along.

“I’m doing OK. I’m living. I’m not happy about a lot of things. I thought someone loved me, right? Turns out, he was a con artist and he didn’t, and now he’s coming after me for all my money,” she said. “When you come out of something like that, you realize you were never the one. There was someone else that was his queen. I got played. I got suckered. I have to keep smiling and keep my spirits up because this is designed to kill me.”
