NikkieTutorials Says Police Have Identified Her Blackmailers
“With the help of police, we have found out who exactly was blackmailing me,” she said. “I have their names, their phone numbers, email addresses.”
NikkieTutorials has shared her first YouTube video since coming out as transgender earlier this month.
On Tuesday, the beauty vlogger, whose real name is Nikkie de Jager, posted a video to her channel titled, “Responding To My Coming Out,” and opened up about the outpouring of support she’s received after sharing her story. Nikkie, who has a whopping 13.1 million subscribers, also “cleared up” some questions about her blackmailers, who had allegedly threatened to reveal she was trans.
The makeup guru first began the video by explaining that she was going to do some “makeup therapy.”
“For weeks I was struggling to decide what my next video should be because, how do you follow up a coming out video?” Nikkie said. “I didn’t know what to post after that. But there’s one thing that has always helped me, even through my darkest times, and that is makeup.”
Nikkie then recalled her emotions the night she published the coming out video, saying she had “no idea” what to expect. “That night of me uploading the video, I was the most anxious, the most nervous, the most stressed I have ever been in my life,” she said. “The feelings that went through my body, I wouldn’t wish upon my worst enemy.”
The YouTuber, who thanked her fans for their “acceptance, love and kindness,” admitted that it took her two days to go out in public after she uploaded her clip as she was “so scared about what the public would say.”
Although the Netherlands native was fearful to go outside, she was immediately met with support when she went out to walk her dog. “My neighbor and she told me how proud she was of me and how I’m such a strong individual and she had tears in her eyes,” Nikkie said. “Not in my craziest dreams did I think that would happen.”
As she continued to do her makeup, Nikkie recalled the overwhelmingly positive response she’s received from everyone from media outlets to Dutch lawmakers who had reached out to her. “Trust me when I say, if I could write a book from all the offers I got for a book deal, ‘Harry Potter’ would be nothing,” she quipped. “It has been so crazy and absolutely surreal seeing the world respond to me and welcomed me with open arms and showing me nothing but love and respect.”
Though Nikkie ultimately chose to appear on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” she expressed that “the number one outlet where I get to truly be myself and share my full story is here on my YouTube channel.” She added, “I want my words to come from a safe place and this right here [YouTube] is my safe place.”
The internet personality then took the time to address rumors about her blackmailer and urged her fans to stop searching for them.
“First of all, I think we need to stop the witch hunt that I’ve been seeing going around,” Nikkie said. “I don’t think that is your story to tell. If anyone is going to have the right to tell more about these blackmailers, it’s going to be me.”
“With the help of police, we have found out who exactly was blackmailing me,” she continued. “I have their names, their phone numbers, email addresses. I even know where they live and how they treated people around me to get more information on my true story.”
While Nikkie said she won’t reveal the blackmailers’ identity, she admitted she was “shocked” because it wasn’t someone she knew.
“I think in a way, they already got their punishment,” she said. “They now know that I know exactly who it is. And I think they’re gonna have a little bit of that fear, that one day maybe their name is gonna leak to the press, and they’re gonna feel exactly the same thing that I was feeling.”
“I think it is my right to determine if I want that name to come out or not,” she explained. “And right now, with 32 million views, I think he knows. And I think [those] are the most badass 32 million f–k you’s ever.”
Nikkie also had some words for those who thought her coming out as a transgender was a publicity stunt. “Sweety, have a seat,” she said, waving her makeup brush. “Have a seat and go sit there for awhile and rethink your actions and your words.”

Tyra Banks Declares It’s ‘Payback Time’ In Passionate Video About The Dark Side Of Modeling
Tyra Banks has long fought against the cookie-cutter beauty standards of the fashion and modeling industry, but in 2020 the model is fed up. The 46-year-old released a passionate video where she shouted out all the things she hated about the industry, and every pain she had felt over her 28 years in the industry. The model encouraged her fans to do the same, and to make videos shouting at whoever caused them pain in order to turn it into strength. The video was released to promote Tyra’s new venture “ModelLand,” an inclusive model-themed interactive entertainment park that is set to open in late 2020.
Martha Stewart Slams “Irritating” Gwyneth Paltrow Goop Products
Lieberman/FilmMagic
Gwyneth Paltrow released a candle that smells like her vagina, and Martha Stewarthas some thoughts.
During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Stewart was asked by a caller to comment on Goop‘s new candle scent, “This Smells Like My Vagina” (which, somehow unsurprisingly, has already sold out). Given that Stewart basically written the book on running a successful, longterm lifestyle brand, it’s a fitting question. And to no one’s surprise, she’s not impressed by the candle.
“I’m sure it sold out,” Stewart said to Andy Cohen of the $75 product. “She does that kind of irritatingly—she’s trying to zhuzh up the public to listen to her and that’s great. Let her do her thing.”
Sure, she said live and let live in response to the interesting scent, but would she burn it in her own home? As she hilariously admitted, “I wouldn’t buy that candle.”
Chimed in Cohen, “So, to be clear, you don’t want a candle that smells like Gwyneth Paltrow’s vagina?”
“Not necessarily,” Stewart teased.
As the host continued, “What does it say about America that the candle is now sold out?”
In response, Stewart said, “I think it’s not America. I think it’s a lot of guys who are horny.”
Karlie Kloss appeared on the Bravo show alongside Stewart. And she also had a hot topic issue to address in the interview.
Unable to remain mum, Cohen asked Kloss about that viral moment on Project Runway where a contestant shaded the supermodel by saying, “Not even to dinner with the Kushners?“
As the star (who is married to Joshua Kushner, Jared Kushner‘s brother) said, “Well, listen, I was honored to be one of the first memes of the decade. Honestly, the real tragedy of this whole thing is that nobody is talking about how terrible that dress was! That’s why he went home! And no, I would not wear that dress to any dinner.”
Not even if the host had a vagina-scented candle.

Instagram beauty influencer slammed for ‘blackface’ photos: ‘I am disgusted’
A professional make-up artist and beauty influencer has been criticized after she shared photos and a video that followers accused of containing “blackface.”
Ghadeer Sultan has more than two million followers on Instagram who have been left shocked by the video, which she uploaded to her page on New Year’s Eve.
The Kuwaiti woman is lip-syncing to We Are the World 25 for Haiti sporting a variety of different colored wigs and skin tones, from light to dark.
“No matter where you are from or what you believe in, we are all children of this world, and we all share it together equally,” she captioned the video.
“Beauty comes in all shapes and colors, so let’s love each other and celebrate our unity. I love u all, happy new year #happynewyear #happy_new_year #2020.”
However, not many people were impressed by Ghadeer’s efforts and shared their outrage at her choice to darken her face.
“Darkening your face, regardless of the context or the circumstances, is always unacceptable because of the racist history of blackface,” one wrote.
“Black face really??? I am disgusted,” another said.
“This is just a straight up black face, which is very offensive and as an educated make-up artist you should know better about that, you want to show your abilities or talent on black skin USE A BLACK MODEL !!! Period,” another stated.
“This is the most offensive thing I’ve seen. You can portray togetherness without disrespecting an entire culture. So uneducated, this is beyond unnecessary and unacceptable,” someone else wrote.
Many begged the social media star to delete the video, branding it “crazy” and “offensive.”
“This is crazy. Delete it!!” one said.
“Black face ain’t cute, delete,” another agreed.
“This is so stupid,” one added.
The social media star responded to the heat by posting a photo wearing the dark make-up, captioning it: “I am not racist. I hate racism. What I’ve done is only to show what I am capable of … I love you all.
“Life is meant for living … living with love and passion for every one without thinking of what they are could really change your life … Think 2020 and live with passion for all peoples. Happy New Year.”
Ghadeer has refused to take the post down and continued to defend herself by sharing a video of a BBC News report on the controversy.
The initial clip appears to be inspired by the celebrity charity video made to raise money for the victims of the earthquake that devastated Haiti in 2010.
The song is a cover of We Are the World written by Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie in 1985.

Taraji P. Henson’s New Hair-Care Line Is Truly a Blessing for All Hair Types
If Taraji P. Henson weren’t acting, she’d probably be doing hair. As a college student, the Empire star would do wet sets (styling wet hair with rollers immediately after cleansing) for her classmates as a side hustle. And while her talent and onscreen magnetism have gained her 32 awards and a mess of nominations, the latest chapter in Henson’s career is taking her back to her first love. “I always loved and understood hair,” she tells Allure. “Growing up, we took [it] very seriously. I was always in a salon every week getting a different hairstyle.”
TPH by Taraji is the fruit of Henson’s decades-long passion for hair, grown from her own experiences styling and nurtured by the kind of trial-and-error we all go through when learning how to take care of our own hair. The 18-piece line is divided into four color-coded parts: teal for cleansing and care, red for repair, purple for treatment stylers, and yellow for scalp-care products.
As Henson tells Allure, scalp care lies at the heart of TPH, due to her own experiences wearing weaves over the years. “The first time I went to get the weave taken out, it smelled like mildew. I was so embarrassed. I was washing my hair, but wasn’t doing drying the weft,” she explains. “When you have a weave or an install, your hair is braided down and then sometimes they sew a hair net down on top of that and then they sew the hair tracks on top of that. My dilemma was how do I get to my scalp? How do I clean it? I didn’t ever want that mildew smell again.” Her Master Cleanse, the hero product, is inspired by a homemade concoction Henson made just to refresh her scalp when she wears weaves.
The collection wasn’t made with a specific hair type in mind, nor is it solely for people who wear weaves. Henson says she created TPH hair for every texture, from silky and stick-straight, to fluffy, gravity-defying z-shaped zig-zag strands. So, we tested the range on five different hair types.

Models urge Victoria’s Secret CEO to take a stand on sexual misconduct allegations
More than 120 of the biggest names in fashion have signed an open letter to Victoria’s Secret, expressing their “concern for the safety and wellbeing of the models and young women who aspire to model for Victoria’s Secret.”
The likes of Doutzen Kroes, Christy Turlington Burns, Milla Jovovich and more all signed the letter from The Model Alliance and addressed it to Victoria’s Secret CEO John Mehas.
“In the past few weeks, we have heard numerous allegations of sexual assault, alleged rape, and sex trafficking of models and aspiring models. While these allegations may not have been aimed at Victoria’s Secret directly, it is clear that your company has a crucial role to play in remedying the situation,” the letter begins.
The letter calls out any alleged connection between Victoria’s Secret, its parent company L Brands and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Epstein has pleaded not guilty to charges of sexually exploiting and abusing dozens of minor girls at his Upper East Side mansion and his home in Palm Beach, Florida. He faces up to 45 years in prison if convicted. His trial is set for sometime next year.
The letter also addresses “allegations of sexual misconduct by photographers.”
“It is deeply disturbing that these men appear to have leveraged their working relationships with Victoria’s Secret to lure and abuse vulnerable girls,” the letter states. “We stand with the courageous women who have come forward and shared their stories, despite fears of retaliation or harm to their careers. It breaks our hearts to keep hearing these stories. We can and must do better. It is time for RESPECT.”
Ava Smith, a former Victoria’s Secret model, said it’s easy for photographers to try to push acceptable boundaries with models.
“How many other jobs can you expect to be asked to, you know, out of the blue, pose nude or topless, etc.?” Smith said. “And so I think one of the things to us is the inconsistency about how it’s done, which you know you’re almost never prepared for.”
“There are multiple photographers who are known for their work for Victoria’s Secret who have been accused of sexually assaulting models,” Sara Ziff, founder of the Model Alliance, told ABC News. “And in addition to that there has been a lot in the news recently about L Brand CEO Leslie Wexler’s close personal and professional relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, who has multiple allegations against him of child sex trafficking and of luring girls and young women under the pretense that he was a recruiter for Victoria’s Secret. So in the face of all of these very serious allegations we felt that we couldn’t just sit silently and not say anything.”
The Alliance lays out the new Respect Program in its letter.
“Signatory companies make a binding commitment to require their employees, agents, vendors, photographers and other contractors to follow a code of conduct that protects everyone’s safety on the job, and reduces models’ vulnerability to mistreatment. Models have access to an independent, confidential complaint mechanism, with swift and fair resolution of complaints and appropriate consequences for abusers,” it explains.
Smith is one of the women to sign on to the Alliance.
“There’s a responsibility for all of us to sort of come together, because it is really an industry-wide issue with all of this,” Smith told ABC News. “So I think that it’s fantastic that we do have major models that are are stepping up and saying, ‘Hey this is an issue; we need to talk about this.'”
The letter asks the company to enact the Respect program and move “to be a leader, to use its power and influence to bring about the changes that are urgently needed in our industry.”
“If Victoria’s Secret were to take a stand against these abuses and commit to meaningful change by joining the RESPECT Program, this would go a long way in helping our industry chart a new path forward,” it closes.
A request for comment from Victoria’s Secret was not immediately returned to ABC News.
