A music festival in Detroit has moved away from ticket prices based on race after local rapper Tiny Jag pulled out of the show over the price discrepancy.

Chicago rapper CupcakKe, real name Elizabeth Eden Harris, has released a new track that seeks to call-out Ayesha Curry, celebrity chef and wife of Stephen Curry. The new track, entitled “Ayesha,” directly mentions Curry after she created a controversy surrounding her attention in comparison to her NBA-player husband.
On the track, CupcakKe raps about “all these b*tches cloning me, got me feeling like Lupita in Us,” continuing with “I rock Versace robe with the low cuts / I really wonder why they gas you hoes up? / Yeah you rocking all that Fashion Nova / But in reality, you look like a fashion no bruh!” The chorus continues with her Ayesha Curry-aimed callout by saying “Ayesha, Ayesha, Ayesha Curry / These hoes just want my attention, stay worried.”

Azealia Banks is booed for the summer, and I can’t get a text back.
The controversial rapper confirmed on IG on Thursday that she got a new man in her life and that she is happy to have found the love of her life finally. We’ve grown used to Azealia Banks getting into beef on social media with other rappers like Nicki Minaj, Cardi B, and more. She even once got into it with Rihanna. Her feud never ends well. Today she stunned her fans when she posted a photo of herself and her boyfriend, Paul.
“I want to introduce the world to my boyfriend,” she wrote. This is the love of my life. I’m so happy I found you and can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives together.”
Sounds like she plans on walking down the aisle sometime soon. Some fans think that this is a publicity stunt, while others believe that it’s a good thing and that is perhaps the reason why she hasn’t been lashing out on the Gram lately.
“Maybe this is what you needed this whole time sis so you can calm yo azz down lol, notice we haven’t seen any feud with you lately good d*** will do that,” one fan wrote.

Turns out Jada Pinkett Smith almost passed on having Jordyn Woods appear on Red Table Talk.
The Facebook Watch series, hosted by Pinkett Smith, her daughter, Willow Smith, and her mom, Adrienne Banfield-Jones, sees the three tackling tough topics and given fans insight into their lives.
Woods appeared on the show after news broke that she had hooked up with Tristan Thompson, the father of Khloe Kardashian’s daughter, True.
“It actually wasn’t something I wanted to do because it was very close [to home],” Smith revealed to People. “But as time transpired, Jordyn was just like, ‘I really need you in this platform’ and Will [Smith] felt like it was supremely important. So I was like, ‘Okay, let’s do it.’
The episode broke records as the most viewed Facebook original episode in its first 24 hours.
Pinkett Smith—whose family has known Woods since she was a child thanks to Woods’s late father, John, working as a sound engineer on the Fresh Prince of Bel Air—said she wanted to give the 21-year-old “a platform to tell her story.”
“Jordyn really felt like it was the only safe place that she could do that interview,” Pinkett Smith said. “That was my intention honestly. I just wanted her to have a platform to tell her story. That’s it.”
“She’s a young beautiful woman inside and out and me having been a young girl, we sometimes get in situations that we don’t necessarily know how to handle,” the actress continued. “You just [try to] help young girls navigate through life, through difficult situations we’ve all come across.”

JT of City Girls “Will be Home Within the Next 90 Days” Says Quality Control CEO

It looks like JT of City Girls will be returning home soon, if Quality Control’s Pierre “Pee” Thomas’ recent comments are anything to go by. In an interview with HipHop-N-More, the record label CEO shared that JT could be released from jail within the next 90 days.
The City Girls member is currently serving a two year sentence for fraudulent credit card charges. At this time, we don’t know exactly what day she’ll be out of jail. Thomas replied “stay tuned” when asked for more details on JT’s release. Watch the clip below.
Although City Girls have been split up since JT began serving her sentence in July 2018, Yung Miami has been holding down the fort, performing “Act Up” at the BET Awards earlier this week. The duo also featured on A$AP Ferg’s new track “Wigs.”

Iggy Azalea is suiting up for her big comeback as she’s readying her forthcoming album In My Defense. The Australian rapper has released two singles in the past few months, “Sallie Walker” and “Started,” however, she was hit was a curveball after her topless photos leaked online. The 29-year-old artist took a break from social media and has learned not to let a deterrent stop her shine, but to get to the place where she isn’t off-put by challenges is a journey she’s still traveling.
In a recent The RuPaul Show interview, Iggy admitted that she’s taken some time for self-reflection at a wellness retreat. Think of it as Iyanla fixing your life, just without Iylana. And in the desert. “I did, I don’t know what you would call it,” Iggy said. “An intense workshop yourself? In Arizona. I went away and just one-on-one talked to people…there were people around me who I worked with that were like, ‘We love you but we think that you self-sabotage yourself.'”
“And I was kinda pissed about it, even though I knew it was true,” she continued. “I knew that it was true but I think a lot of it was because I was bullied a lot in high school. I got made fun of because I always was very ridiculous and over the top, and so it was hard for me in my adult life to kind of be able to tell the difference between somebody being critical and constructive and somebody bullying. I couldn’t really…I had the same response to both those things.” She also said that she’s embraced muting and blocking people who come at her with negative comments, but she’s learning how to accept and apply healthy criticisms.
