Twitter Declares That ‘Kanye West Is Over’ After His Unedited Phone Call With Taylor Swift Leaks
Article via CheatSheet
Just when we think we’ve finally reached the end of the infamous Kanye West and Taylor Swift feud, another piece of vital information surfaces. In Swift’s recent Netflix documentary, Miss Americana, we got to see the VMA interruption from an entirely new perspective. At the time of the unfortunate incident, Swift believed that she was the one being booed not West. But, of course, a lot has happened between the two since that faithful day in 2009.
Taylor Swift BLASTS Kanye during her Grammys speech #reloaded
A quick recap of The Taylor Swift and Kanye West feud
Back in 2016, West reignited the feud when he released his song “Famous” and referenced the “You Belong With Me” singer. “For all my Southside ni**as that know me best. I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex
Why?
I made that bi*ch famous (God da*n) I made that b*tch famous,” the song
boasts. This lyric clearly hurt Swift’s feelings and she referenced it during her Grammy’s speech soon thereafter.
Kim Kardashian West gets involved
But, things got interesting when West claimed that he had gotten Swift’s permission to use said lyrics.”I called Taylor and had an hour-long convo with her about the line and she thought it was funny and gave her blessings,” West shared. Fans weren’t sure who to believe until West’s wife, Kim Kardashian West, released a video of the phone conversation where it appeared that Swift did actually give permission to West. The 39-year-old reality star also implied that Swift was a snake when releasing the footage.
Immediately, thousands of people began rallying behind West. They seized the opportunity to paint the Red singer as a liar. She even began trending on Twitter with #TaylorSwiftIsOverPary. Swift immediately tried to take control of the situation. She released a statement saying that she never heard the final lyrics of the song, and never once did West say that he was going to refer to her a bi*ch.

Swift shared her side of the story on Instagram
“Where is the video of Kanye telling me he was going to call me ‘that b-tch’ in his song? It doesn’t exist because it never happened. You don’t get to control someone’s emotional response to being called ‘that b*tch’ in front of the entire world. Of course I wanted to like the song. I wanted to believe Kanye when he told me that I would love the song. I wanted us to have a friendly relationship. He promised to play the song for me, but he never did,” Swift began about West in a since-deleted Instagram post.
Swift concluded the statement by saying that she no longer wanted to be a part of the conversation.”Being falsely painted as a liar when I was never given the full story or played any part of the song is character assassination. I would very much like to be excluded from this narrative, one that I have never been asked to be a part of, since 2009,” the “All Too Well” singer wrote, referencing the infamous VMA incident.

An unedited video of the conversation has leaked
Unfortunately for Swift, the damage was already done. Despite her clarification about West, she received countless amounts of hate and was called a snake and a liar for weeks on end. Things got so bad that the pop star felt the need to drop off of the grid and isolate herself from the public eye for an entire year. But now, four years later, it seems that Swift is getting the vindication she deserves. View this post on Instagram

On March 20, 2020, a video leaked of the unedited call between Swift and West. In this new version, it’s clear that Swift is apprehensive about the lyrics that West has come up with about her. “Is it going to be mean?” she asks before West promises that it’s not. She also says that she needs to think about it and hear the song before she can give her blessing. Furthermore, the lyrics that West shared with Swift were not the ones that ended up on the song.
Twitter declares that #KanyeWestIsOver
With this new information, it appears that Swift was telling the truth the entire time. Both West and Swift are currently trending on Twitter under the following hashtags: #KanyeWestIsOverParty, #KanyeIsOverParty, and #TaylorToldTheTruth. People are also outraged at the amount of hate Swift received at the time and are making their feelings known. View this post on Instagram

“Proof that Kanye West and Kim not only mortified Taylor in the most cruel, vile, and horrifying way but they lied to the whole world to make THEM look better and to benefit THEM. selfishness at its fuc*ing finest I guess #KanyeWestIsOverParty,” one person tweeted. “Taylor Swift was canceled & attacked for this, to the point it affected her mentally and made her think she had to disappear from the spotlight. So sad she received that treatment when she was telling the truth the entire time. #KanyeWestIsOverParty,” another person chimed in.
#TaylorToldTheTruth is trending on Twitter
It’s certainly great that the truth is finally out there about the situation. However, we hope that people have learned that their words carry weight and sending a person massive amounts of hate can be detrimental no matter what their celebrity status. Hopefully Swift is able to find some peace about the situation if she hasn’t already.

‘7th Heaven’ child actor Lorenzo Brino dies in car accident at 21: ‘I’ll love you forever’
Lorenzo Brino, who made up one half of the Camden twins on The WB family dramedy “7th Heaven,” died last week at age 21, authorities said.
Brino lost control of his car Monday at 3:05 a.m. while driving in his hometown of Yucaipa, California, and collided with a utility pole, according to a coroner’s release from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department. He was pronounced dead at the scene and the Sheriff’s Department Major Accident Investigation Team is investigating the collision.
Brino’s only acting credit was as Sam Camden on “7th Heaven” from 1999 to 2005, starring opposite his brother Nikolas as twin David Camden. Sam and David, born in season three, were the youngest of the Camdens, led by patriarch Rev. Eric Camden (Stephen Collins) and Annie Camden (Catherine Hicks).
Originally, the roles were shared by their quadruplet siblings, but Lorenzo and Nikolas eventually took over as Sam and David full time.
USA TODAY has reached out to Brino’s representative for more information.
Mimi Brino, one of the quadruplets, paid tribute in an Instagram post dedicated to her “amazing and crazy brother.
“You might be gone but it’s true when people say ‘gone but never forgotten,'” she wrote. “Saying that you were a blessing is an understatement. You brought light to so many lives and you did so much with the too short of a life that you had. I had the privilege of growing up side by side with you for an absolutely wild 21 years. Believe me when I say that you drove me so insane at times, but you were also a part of some of my most cherished memories. I am so so happy to know that I was beyond loved by you and that I forever have a guardian angel by my side. Rest In Peace Lorenzo, I love you now and I’ll love you forever.”

Pornhub to Release First Ever Non-Adult Film, About Black Lesbian Strip Club Culture
Ubiquitous American pornography website Pornhub is releasing its first ever non-adult film on Wednesday, the company exclusively announced to Variety.
The move places the digital giant, which estimated 42 billion visits to the site last year, in the company of other streamers seeking to expand audiences and diversify its content portfolios. The movie in question is the documentary “Shakedown,” from filmmaker and conceptual artist Leilah Weinraub. It hails from the upper echelons of the art world, where the project enjoyed a prestige rollout in exhibits at the Whitney Museum and MoMA over the last three years.
“Shakedown” is a stream-of-consciousness, nonfiction narrative about the queer women and men who populated the lesbian strip club scene in Los Angeles in the early aughts. It is culled from neatly 15 years of footage shot by Weinraub over her adult life, and offers a humorous, sensual and informative look at a vibrant subculture.
Repped by distributor Grasshopper, the movie will stream on Pornhub for free for the entire month of March before hitting broadcast on the Criterion Channel, and, finally, the iTunes store by summer.
“There’s a cool opportunity right now to present films in the art space, there’s more openness to diversity and content, and a different sort of storytelling,” Weinraub said, adding she’s specifically hoping to engage Pornhub’s female users. While the company would not comment specifically on the gender composition, their 2019 user data is staggering, and includes figures like: 115 million visits per day, 39 billion unique searches for the year and 1.36 million hours of new content uploaded. That translates, Pornhub noted, to 169 years worth of content to watch.
Weinraub and Pornhub have collaborated before, when she led the buzzy streetwear brand Hood by Air. Official Pornhub merchandise and clothes emblazoned with search engine terms featured prominently in the line’s 2016 fall collection. Numerous sets of pearls were clutched at that New York Fashion Week show.
“This film is part of a larger general commitment Pornhub has to supporting the arts. We want to be seen as a platform that artists and creators can use,” said Pornhub’s brand director Alex Klein. “We’ve seen artists in general upload content to the site, that might not have a home at places like YouTube or Vimeo, who don’t permit nudity. For us, premiering a feature length film is a first. We’re very excited about it.”
In their quest to thoughtfully reach women, the site and Weinraub have built a self-contained online home for the project, itself a sort of performative space where Weinraub hopes users can be “alone, together.” A chat window will be open for discourse, and Weinraub will drop in once a week to have conversations with users.
In “Shakedown,” gay women of color in South Los Angeles converge in a world informed and nurtured by ballroom drag and cisgender exotic dancers. The dreamy footage presents their stories, without a conventional arc seen in most modern docs.
“I feel like it complicates the history of subcultures, like Los Angeles. It reorients your placing of things in that history. I feel like that was my goal, not to put a finger on it, but complicate and add to that richness,” Weinraub said.

Co-Host Named In Tamar Braxton’s New Beauty Show
Tamar Braxton may not have new music but she’s coming back to television with a new beauty show. Details of the show are unclear but what is known is that the Braxton Family Values star is bringing her sass to VH1.
She’s adding credibility to the show by enlisting the help of a co-host with renowned celebrity clients and tons of experience in hair and beauty.
Tamar Braxton lands new beauty show
After Braxton was fired from the FOX daytime talk show The Real, she vowed to return to daytime television. She announced that she was working with Steve Harvey on developing her own talk show, but after several years passed, nothing ever came to fruition.
“It’s not, because of contractual reasons. We couldn’t get my network down to kind of free me of that,” she revealed when asked what the hold up was. “I’m waiting on my talk show too.”
She continued filming her WeTV reality series Braxton Family Values and Tamar & Vince before getting another spin-off on the network to focus on her life post-divorce from Vincent Herbert.
Fans finally received the news they were waiting for when Braxton announced she partnered with VH1 for a different show.
“I have a VH1 show coming up that got picked up for 20 episodes. I’m really excited about it. So they’re being a little bit more lenient nowadays,” The Jasmine Brand reported in June 2019. Months later, the outlet revealed more details about the show. The untitled beauty competition series was greenlit for production in January 2020.
Celebrity stylist, Johnny Wright, will co-host Tamar Braxton’s new beauty show
Details of the show have not been released to the public but The Jasmine Brand announced on March 3 that celebrity hairstylist, Johnny Wright, will join Braxton as a co-host. Wright comes with years of experience in the beauty world and even has some hosting gigs under his belt.
Wright’s most famous client is First Lady Michelle Obama. He spoke to The Beauty Experience on how he began working with the former FLOTUS.
“Obama had announced his presidential candidacy two weeks earlier, and he was calling to tell me about an opportunity to style Michelle Obama’s hair at a photoshoot for Essence,” he explained. “It was the chance of a lifetime.” From there, he spent 8 years working side by side with her at the White House.
From there, the Chicago native’s clientele grew. He’s worked with other stars, including Kerry Washington, Tamron Hall, Janet Mock, Angela Rye, Cynthia Bailey, Regina King, and Queen Latifah to name a few.

How to Watch Corey Feldman’s (My) Truth: The Rape of 2 Coreys Documentary
(My) Truth: The Rape of 2 Coreys is finally coming out next month. However, it will not be a traditional release. Corey Feldman announced earlier this week that the long-awaited documentary is seeing the light of day after a series of roadblocks. Feldman has secured the backing he needs to release the documentary the way he sees fit and there are a lot of people waiting to see what he has to say. We have detailed below how you can watch the doc when it comes out next month.
First of all, (My) Truth: The Rape of 2 Coreys will have a live premiere in Hollywood on March 9th. The night marks the eve of the tenth anniversary of Corey Haim’s death. Potential viewers will have to go to Corey Feldman’s MyTruthDoc.com in order to stream the premiere and the movie. The site is currently under construction, but it will be up in time for the tickets to go on sale on February 22nd, 2020.
Tickets prices will be announced on February 18th by Corey Feldman. In his original announcement, the actor/musician says he wants to keep tickets in the $15 – $20 range like a normal movie. With that said, this will not be like a normal movie streaming event. It is, for now, a one night only event, that will take place March 9th at 8PM Pacific. That means East Coasters will have to watch at 11PM. Once the ticket is purchased, viewers will be given a registration code for Truthdoc.com, which will allow whole households to watch the movie for one low price.
Corey Feldman will not be allowing preview screenings or reviews, in order to let (My) Truth: The Rape of 2 Coreys speak for itself. He does not want the media or anyone else twisting his words before the world gets to see his side of the story. Feldman has been taken advantage of in the press in the past and this sadly still happens today. Whatever the case may be, Feldman is ready to get his story out and he’s not charging an arm and a leg to do it.
(My) Truth: The Rape of 2 Coreys was made in order to shed light on what still happens to young actors and actresses in the entertainment industry today. Corey Haim and Corey Feldman have heartbreaking stories, which nobody should ever have to go through. So, hopefully, the release of this documentary will help bring awareness to this issue.
As for whether or not he will be naming the names, that remains to be seen, but he does have 24-hour armed security for himself and his wife. To recap: (My) Truth: The Rape of 2 Coreys will premiere on March 9th at 8PM PTS and 11 EST for a one-night only streaming event that will go worldwide. Tickets will go on sale 2/22/20 on MyTruthdoc.com. You can check out the poster for the movie below, thanks to Corey Feldman’s Twitter account.

Gabrielle Union Demanded A Prenup from Dwayne Wade
Gabrielle Union — an actress best known for her roles in films such as Bring It On, 10 Things I Hate About You, and Bad Boys II — has been married to former NBA player Dwyane Wade for nearly six years. Though they have a marriage that is going seemingly well, the two have not been without their relationship struggles. They each had already been divorced by the time they married in 2014. And, for Union especially, there were some valuable lessons she took from her failed marriage that affected her decisions with concern to Wade.
Gabrielle Union’s first marriage was to Chris Howard
Wade wasn’t the first NBA player Union has been married to. Form 2001 to 2005 she was married to Chris Howard, in a union that many thought was doomed from the start.
The proposal alone was enough to give anyone pause. Howard was apparently snacking on a bucket of KFC chicken with one hand while waiting for Union at home with the ring in the other. The next day she discovered that he might be cheating but went ahead with the marriage anyway.
At the wedding, it was clear some of her friends weren’t happy about her decision. In Union’s memoir, We’re Going to Need More Wine, she wrote about how a friend she had asked to do a reading made his feelings known: “Dulé thought this marriage was a terrible mistake, so as he read from 1 Corinthians, he kept sighing dramatically, pausing to look at me like ‘Are you getting this?”
Gabrielle Union’s prenup with Dwyane Wade was her idea
Union hadn’t had a prenup with Howard, and even without the details of their divorce, it’s clear from her interviews she believes that was a big mistake.
During a 2014 interview with Arsenio Hall, just a few months before her marrying Wade, Hall asked if she’d always “chosen so perfectly.” The answer was no, and she gave several examples of poor choices she had made in the past.
When it came to her upcoming marriage to Wade she knew she wanted at least one big thing to be different.
“For this marriage… the biggest difference between this and the last marriage will be a prenup,” Union said. “At my insistence. When you have your own stuff, you don’t need to worry about anybody else’s stuff. So everyone should go into the relationship knowing I’m here for you and you’re here for me. And the reality is I’ve never seen Dwyane balance a checkbook. So… I gotta protect my stuff… That’s the wave of the future, protecting your stuff.”
She shared a similar sentiment in another interview: “I want to make it clear that I have in no way hitched my wagon to his star. I have my own wagon and star.”
Dwyane Wade had a messy divorce from his first wife
Though Union didn’t mention it in her comments about getting a prenup, it’s important to note that Wade’s divorce from his first wife Siohvaughn Funches was not at all amicable, and may have also played a part in Union’s decision. Funches and Wade were married in 2002 and divorced in 2007 but the legal battles lasted well into 2010.
Funches made claims that Wade had abused her and also said she was left without child support for their two children for long periods of time. She even unsuccessfully tried to sue Union at one point for, as she claimed, breaking up the marriage. Wade eventually got full custody of the children when all was said and done.
There is also the matter of Wade’s third child, who was conceived with another woman while he and Union were on a break in 2013. Details of this time in their relationship have just begun to come out thanks to his ESPN Documentary D. Wade: Life Unexpected, Dwyane. Wade says that telling Union about the child was one of the hardest things he’s ever had to do.
In 2018 Wade and Union had a child of their own together through a surrogate.
