Tiffany Haddish And Awkwafina Are Rumored To Be Starring In The Next ’21 Jump Street’ Reboot
Awkwafina had the kind of star-making 2018 that hasn’t been seen since… Tiffany Haddish in 2017. The actress/comedian/rapper starred in Ocean’s 8, Dude, and Crazy Rich Asians and hosted SNL, something that Haddish, whose breakout role in Girls Trip led to critical acclaim and a spot on Time‘s 100 most influential people in the world list, accomplished last year. So, it’s only fitting that they’re both rumored to star in the female-driven 21 Jump Street reboot.
Collider reports that Haddish is being targeted to “play a teacher this time around, possibly posing as the mother of a new student — and fellow undercover cop,” while they’ve heard from “multiple sources” that Awkwafina (real name: Nora Lum) is “at the top of Sony’s list, and for months I’ve heard that executives over there are big fans of the Crazy Rich Asians actress, who has also been considered for a supporting role in Sony’s Jumanji sequel.”
It might be hard to get people excited for more 21 Jump Street — the Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum-starring buddy comedy came out in 2012, while the sequel was released two years later — but casting Haddish and Awkwafina would be a good start. Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, who directed both films, are expected to return as producers, while Rodney Rothman is writing and directing. “We think that there’s something fun about keeping that irreverent spirit of Jump Street, but maybe having it be told through a female undercover cop point-of-view,” Columbia Pictures president Sanford Panitch said about the script. “We’ve had enough male buddy comedies. Princess Love Puts Ray J on Blast About Their Sex Life: ‘It Doesn’t Even Get Up Anymore’
Princess Love seems like she’s ready for a second child, but only if her husband is ready to bat in the bedroom.
Love and Ray J. Norwood welcomed their adorable baby girl Melody Love in May and the couple said they were open to having another child. During an interview with BET’s “Raq Rants” on Dec 4., Love said she’d love to expand her family, but Norwood’s “third leg: doesn’t seem to be working too well.
“I hope so,” the model said. “But you have to have sex, too. So, it has to go hand-in-hand… We’ve done it like three times.”
Norwood and Love went tit-for-tat over his male parts and its ability to perform. Nevertheless, the “One Wish” singer said he’s more than ready to try for a second child.
“I’m always ready,” he replied. “I’ve never been limp.”
Love sharply hit back, “You’ve been limp, lately. It doesn’t even get up anymore.”
The 34-year-old mother said she’s been basking in motherhood and called it the “best feeling ever.” She couldn’t be more ecstatic than to be a mommy to her beautiful baby girl and recently celebrated baby Mel turning 6-months-old.
Love took to Instagram last week and shared a series of photos with she and her family at an amusement park for Melody’s celebration.
“We took Melody to Universal Studios for her 6-month celebration,” Love wrote. “Can’t wait to create more memories as she gets older and now I have a reason to do all of the fun kid stuff.”
Fans complimented Love and her husband on being such great parents.

High school class laughs as students sing KKK-themed Christmas song
DOVER, N.H. — A New Hampshire school superintendent is decrying a racially insensitive video of two high school students singing, “KKK, KKK, Let’s kill all the blacks,” to the tune of “Jingle Bells.”
Fosters Daily Democrat reports a cellphone video surfaced over the weekend of the students singing the song in class at Dover High School.
Superintendent William Harbron said in a letter to the school community Monday the incident was part of an assignment dealing with the Reconstruction period in American history, but said, “the impact was harmful.”
Harbron said the 11th-graders had to select a history event and create a jingle for it. Two students selected the Ku Klux Klan.
A decision on whether to discipline the students or teacher hasn’t been made yet.

CAIRO — An Egyptian actress is facing trial next month charged with public obscenity after she showed up at the closing ceremony of a film festival in Cairo wearing a see-through dress that revealed the entirety of her legs.
Rania Youssef’s trial, which is scheduled to begin Jan. 12, follows a complaint to the chief prosecutor by a group of lawyers against the young actress.
Egypt is a mostly conservative country with a Muslim majority. The Arab country of 100 million people has retained vestiges of secularism despite decades of growing religious conservatism, but Youssef’s case serves as a reminder that Islamic fundamentalism continues to have a voice five years after an Islamist president was ousted by the military amid mass protests against his rule.
Youssef, who is in her 30s, faces up to five years in prison if convicted.

Jackie Chan’s daughter confirms marriage to Canadian girlfriend
Etta Ng, the estranged teenage daughter of movie star Jackie Chan, has announced that she has married her 31-year-old Canadian girlfriend.
The happy couple shared a picture of Ms Ng, 19, and social media personality Andi Autumn with their apparent marriage certificate, dated 8 November.
Media reports said the pair registered their marriage in Canada, and are now in Ms Ng’s native Hong Kong.
The news was celebrated online, and trended on Chinese platform Weibo.
Ms Ng is martial arts star Chan’s only child with actor and former beauty queen Elaine Ng Yi Lei following an affair the couple had in 1999.
She was raised by her mother but local media reports suggest their relationship was fraught with tension in recent years.
“We have all been hurt but if you can dream of love, you can find it,” the couple wrote in their photo caption. “Love is kind, it does not judge. Love is both strength and weakness. Love can make change. Love wins!”
Ms Ng and Ms Autumn are said to have begun dating in late 2017 and Ms Ng moved to Canada shortly thereafter.
In April, the couple made a public plea for help on YouTube, claiming they were homeless for a month “due to homophobic parents”.
This was disputed by Ms Ng’s mother, who told the Asian news site Coconuts the couple “should go find work” and not rely on Ms Ng’s father’s fame to get money.
Gay Star news reported that Jackie Chan said he was fine with his daughter’s sexuality, but according to media reports he has never had a relationship with her.
In 2015 Chan told the BBC of his shame and shock following the news his older son Jaycee Chan had been jailed for six months in China for drug offences.
