Comedian Mo’Nique Accused of Owing $620,000 in Back Taxes
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, the Georgia Department of Revenue filed a state tax lien against Mo’Nique (real name Monique Hicks). The lien also lists her husband/manager Sidney Hicks.
The Academy Award winner is accused of owing a total of $60,365.75 for the years 2015 and 2016.
The original tax debt was $31,445.71 but it grew with interest ($8,983.55), penalties ($13,597.35) and collection costs ($6,289.14).
The Department of Revenue warns if the debt isn’t paid quickly, they will begin the process of seizing her property and assets.
Mo’Nique’s biggest project in 2015 was the HBO film “Bessie” with Queen Latifah. She would star in the film “Almost Christmas” the following the year.
The lien is the latest in a string of financial troubles for the actress.

Kevin Spacey Sexual Assault Accuser Dies in the Midst of Lawsuit
An anonymous individual suing Kevin Spacey for sexual assault has died, ET confirms.
In a new court filing, the plaintiff’s attorney has informed the actor’s attorney that he has “recently passed.” No details have been released concerning the circumstances of his death.
In September 2018, the deceased plaintiff, a male masseuse, filed claims alleging the House of Cards actor grabbed his genitals and was allegedly forced to grab Spacey’s genitals during a massage at the actor’s private residence in Malibu, California, two years earlier.
Through his lawyer, Spacey has vehemently denied these allegations.
According to the lawsuit, upon arriving at Spacey’s home, the individual suing as “John Doe” alleged the actor complained of “having some pain or discomfort” in his groin area. The masseuse claimed he told Spacey to lie face down, but the actor allegedly laid down on his back instead. While massaging the actor’s leg, he alleged that Spacey put his hand on his genitals.
The masseuse alleged that he pulled away but gave Spacey the benefit of the doubt, assuming the actor was directing him to where he was in pain. The masseuse alleged that he began to massage Spacey’s groin area in a “nonsexual, professional manner,” but claimed that Spacey forced him to once again touch his genitals.
The massage therapist claimed he pulled away, allegedly telling Spacey, “What are you doing? This is ridiculous. I am a professional. This is what I do for a living. I have a son.” The man also alleged that Spacey exposed himself and grabbed his shoulders in what could have been an attempt at a kiss. He also claimed that Spacey grabbed his genitals and allegedly offered to perform oral sex on him.
The late plaintiff allegedly made multiple attempts to leave, but Spacey allegedly blocked the exit with his naked body. However, the masseuse claimed that Spacey finally let him leave the residence, leaving behind his sheets and oil.
The masseuse reported the incident to the Los Angeles Police Department. In the lawsuit, he was asking for unspecified damages and attorney’s fees to be paid by Spacey.
The death of the plaintiff arrives two months after both a civil case and criminal against Spacey, from one alleged victim, came to an end. On July 5, a man alleging the actor groped him at a Nantucket bar in 2016 dropped his civil lawsuit. Then on July 17, ET confirmed that the sexual assault case against Spacey in Cape & Islands District Court was dropped due to “unavailability of the complaining witness.”
ET previously reported in November 2017 that Spacey was seeking “evaluation and treatment” after he was accused of sexual assault and misconduct by several men. Spacey has maintained his innocence.

Jeezy then took her salsa dancing because he didn’t want the date to end. She also disclosed an awkward moment that followed the dance. Jeezy put his hands in her shoulders. At that moment she prayed he didn’t kiss her because she didn’t want their date to be regular. Jeannie then revealed something surprising. He goes, “Can I provide you with a school assignment?’…I need you to think about the last eight hours we spend together.”

Abby Lee Miller offers Felicity Huffman prison advice: The first day is ‘the most stressful’

Abby Lee Miller has some perspective on what Felicity Huffman can expect from her 14-day prison sentence for her involvement in the college admissions scandal.
On Friday, the “Desperate Housewives” star was sentenced to 14 days in federal prison, plus 250 hours of community service and a $30,000 fine for her role in the so-called “Operation Varsity Blues.” She is ordered to turn herself in on Oct. 25.
Huffman, 56, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud in May. She confessed to paying an admissions consultant $15,000 to have a proctor correct her older daughter’s answers on the SAT. She wrote that she’d considered the same for her younger daughter but decided against it.
Miller, 52, who completed an eight-month stint in federal prison for bankruptcy fraud in March 2018, told Us Weekly of Huffman’s future behind bars, “Well, the first day going in is the most stressful. Then, after that, she is going to be in a big, huge room with bunk beds, tons of them. That’s where they first put you to get acclimated to the prison life.”
“She’s not going to get a job because she won’t be there long enough. She’s not going to learn how to be a plumber and how to do HVAC, and how to do all the things that you have to do to go over to the men’s prisons and do,” the “Dance Moms” star added.
“That’s why they have camps. That’s why women are in prison, so we can go make lunches when they all get in a fight. It’s ridiculous,” she scoffed. “It is the most absurd nonsense you have ever seen in your life.”
As for her vision of Huffman’s life post-prison, Miller has a pretty rose-colored view.
“She’ll make a huge movie out of it,” she cracked. “She’ll make millions of dollars and I’m the one paying for her health care for the rest of her life privately.”
In April, Miller said of Huffman’s then-potential prison stint, “My advice would be, take a deep breath and if you need a consultant, I’m your girl.” She added, “Be respectful of everyone, keep a low profile, be kind to people. Tell your story, but listen.”

Kevin Hart‘s sex tape partner claims Hart conspired with a friend to secretly record their encounter, and now she’s suing him for $60 million.
Montia Sabbag claims in a new lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, her 2017 encounter with Hart in a Vegas hotel room was all planned by Hart and JT Jackson — his friend who later was arrested for extortion. She says Hart was motivated by publicity … the need to get more — especially with an upcoming comedy tour — and that’s why he and JT allegedly hid the camera.
The suit claims Hart allowed Jackson into the Cosmopolitan Hotel suite so he could set up hidden video recording devices to capture the liaison. Jackson was later charged with 2 counts of extortion relating to alleged efforts to get money out of Hart to keep the tape under wraps. Jackson denied ever extorting the comedian.
Hart has repeatedly denied having any knowledge of the recording … claiming he, too, was a victim of Jackson’s extortion attempts. You’ll recall Hart later apologized for his infidelity and was adamant nobody should profit off his mistake.
TMZ broke the story … Kevin and Sabbag got up close and personal while partying at Marquee nightclub in Vegas. Sabbag, who back in September 2017 said she’s a crime victim herself, is suing for intentional infliction of emotional distress and invasion of privacy.

This weekend, Beyoncé’s critically acclaimed Netflix documentary, “Homecoming: A Film by Beyoncé,” was shut out of the 2019 Creative Arts Emmys, taking home none of the six awards for which it was nominated.
While Queen Bey has remained mum on the matter, key members of her crew took to social media to share their disappointment, as publicist Yvette Noel-Schure posted an Instagram video of herself along with manager Steve Pamon and other team members throwing up the middle finger while brushing off the evening.
Tour videographer Ben Hagarty took to Twitter to address the snubs, reposting a fan video comparing his work to the production value of “Carpool Karaoke” which ended up taking home the award for Outstanding Variety Special.
“I held a heavy ass camera and walked backwards keeping these 3 legends in frame while dave held a carabiner on my pants to guide me… Oh and I did it going down a set of stairs … ” he wrote.
Deadline reports Beyoncé lost the directing trophy to “Springsteen on Broadway” while the live televised version of “RENT” took home the award for Best Production Design. “RuPaul’s Drag Race” won for Best Costumes and FX’s “Fosse/Verdon” won for Musical Direction. Lastly, Australian comic Hannah Gadsby beat out Bey for Best Writing with her Netflix comedy special, “Nanette.”

PewDiePie pulls $50,000 pledge to Jewish anti-hate group after fan backlash
In a video uploaded today, Kjellberg said that he didn’t know much about the ADL when he made the pledge. It was only after uploading the video and seeing feedback about the organization that he admitted he “didn’t know a lot of things that surfaced throughout this whole thing about the charity.” He made the original announcement during an unboxing of a special YouTube Play button to celebrate surpassing 100 million subscribers.
“I made the mistake of picking a charity that I was advised to instead of picking a charity that I’m personally passionate about,” Kjellberg said in the video. “Which is 100 percent my fault.”
Kjellberg previously addressed the criticism against his donation in a recently deleted tweet, acknowledging that “making a donation to the ADL doesn’t make sense to everyone, especially since they’ve outright spoken against me.” A spokesperson for the ADL told The Verge at the time that they learned about the “potential donation when everyone else did: when he made the announcement on his channel yesterday.”
The original announcement about his donation to the ADL comes after Kjellberg stated he wanted to move past his former controversies. Kjellberg first drew global criticism for paying two men on Fiverr to hold up a sign with anti-Semitic imagery in February 2017. He was then caught using a racist expletive during a gaming live stream on YouTube. Most recently, he tried to distance himself from a popular meme, known as “Subscribe to PewDiePie,” after it was used in the Christchurch terrorist attack in New Zealand earlier this year.
Kjellberg said he’s still going to donate the $50,000, which he received as a sponsorship from Honey. He hasn’t announced which charity will receive the money, but said he plans to take his time with it. The Verge has reached out to Kjellberg’s team for further comment.
Update (September 12th 1:40pm ET): A representative from the ADL pointed The Verge to the organization’s previous statement, given yesterday. It can be read in full below.
“ADL learned about the potential donation from Felix Kjellberg when everyone else did: when he made the announcement on his channel earlier this week. We have not received any communication from him beyond that.”

Farrah Abraham confuses 9/11 with ‘7-Eleven’ convenience store as she visits Ground Zero
Farrah Abraham commemorated the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks with a trip to Ground Zero — but the visit didn’t come without a massive gaffe that’s floored social media users.
The former “Teen Mom” star, 28, on Wednesday seemingly confused 9/11 with the convenience chain store 7-Eleven.
“OK, so we wanted to do, since it’s going to be September 11th, in honor of the Freedom Towers and the observatory deck and everything of 7-Eleven, we are going to do this,” Abraham says in videos posted online. “Wow, look at this guys,” she adds, pointing the camera upward to show One World Trade Center.
The MTV cast member-turned-adult film star said she was in fifth grade when the Twin Towers collapsed in 2001 — and she was visiting the building in New York City’s Lower Manhattan to “enjoy this experience” with her daughter, Sophia, as she’s now in fifth grade herself. Nearly 3,000 people died in the Sept. 11 terror attacks and thousands more suffered injuries.
Abraham described One World Trade as “gorgeous, beautiful and in memory of a lot of loved ones and a lot of others lost,” and added she believes it’s important for her 9-year-old daughter to learn about Sept. 11, as she wasn’t alive when it happened.
While Abraham seemingly didn’t notice her mistake in her video, which she uploaded to Instagram and YouTube, social media users were quick to condemn her, claiming the error was disrespectful.
One commenter said while they don’t normally judge others, they felt Abraham’s video “is so disrespecting towards the people who lost and probably still are in pain of what happened that day… Many have fought to help a lot of people and many have lost their lives that day.”
“Just another vlog for you to get likes. You have no idea or respect for the meaning of 9/11. I’ve never seen a more delusional human being. Disgusting,” someone else wrote.
Some questioned why Abraham wanted to “enjoy” visiting Ground Zero, considering the horror that took place there.
“She said they enjoy the experience how can you enjoy going to the 9/11 memorial your meant to take a minute and think about those poor people not enjoy it,” someone said, with another adding: “Why would you enjoy this experience! What’s joyful about it! Stupid springs to mind.”
