Mason High School graduate Ethan Roser killed in track and field accident near Chicago

A 19-year-old from Greater Cincinnati was killed Saturday afternoon during a track and field competition outside Chicago.
Ethan Roser, a Mason High School graduate and freshman at Wheaton College, was volunteering at the competition, the college said in a statement.
At about 4:15 p.m., a hammer accidentally hit him during a hammer throw event. The “hammer” in hammer throw is a metal ball — 16 pounds for men, 8.8 pounds for women — attached to a grip by a steel wire. Competitors spin around several times before……

Judge Sheila Abdus-Salaam’s husband says his wife did not commit suicide

The husband of America’s first female Muslim judge—whose body was found floating in the Hudson River off New York City last week—does not believe she committed suicide
According to the New York Daily News, Judge Sheila Abdus-Salaam’s husband dismisses the idea that his wife took her own life.
“Those of us who loved [the judge] and knew her well do not believe that these unfounded conclusions have any basis in reality,” said the Rev. Gregory Jacobs, who married the New York State Court of Appeals judge last year. “And in the absence of any conclusive evidence, we believe such speculation to be unwarranted and irresponsible.”
Abdus-Salaam’s husband issued the statement after police said they did not find any evidence of trauma or struggle on the body and an autopsy ruled the judge’s cause of death to be inconclusive. The medical examiner plans to conduct more tests, and the New York City Police Department….

WOW. What did this motorist do to warrant this punch in the face? As we know Police have NO self control when it comes to Black and brown folks. OUR LIVES DON’T MATTER! Maybe just MAYBE if he was Muslim he wouldn’t have gotten sucker punched. WE ALL KNOW IF HE’D BEEN WHITE HE’D BEEN TREATED WITH RESPECT AND DIGNITY. If this had been a Muslim brother or sister this happened to. The whole USA would have come to his defense. There would have been marches and demonstrations. The highest courts of the land would have come to their aid. I’m not saying that doing this for our Muslim people is wrong. But it is a FACT. BLACK AND BROWN LIVES DO NOT MATTER. There are a lot of white People who scream ALL LIVES MATTER! When they feel left out. It seems strange to me when a dozen or more Black and brown children go missing. There’s not a hashtag or any national news airing updates on the case. If only these people with their hands over their eyes, ears and mouth would only remove their hands and SEE US AND HEAR US AND SPEAK UP FOR THOSE OF US WHO ARE OPPRESSED. People of color are only helped by selective hearing.

I guess when more white folks get punched in the face by Hulk smash police only then will it becomes a national emergency. Then we ALL will get the rights and equality we want. Boruto Episode 1 Review
Naruto Shippuden ended its 10 year run in Japan on March 23 of this year and with that end comes a new beginning. That new beginning is in the form of Naruto’s son Boruto Uzumaki and the new anime series Boruto: Naruto Next Generations.
As an introduction episode it does a really good job at introducing some of the kids from the Konoha 11. You can tell that Masashi Kishimoto is trying his hardest to make Boruto his own person and not a clone of his father.
The character Denki seems interesting as well as he will be attending the ninja academy not to be a ninja, but to study ninjutsu.
I would say that the first season or so will probably focus on their time in the academy as well as Boruto’s strained relationship with Naruto since he can’t be around as he’s now Hokage.
It’ll be interesting to see how their time in the academy will unfold even though we can take a guess on what the results will be as far as them become ninja.
I think this series is worth giving a chance and I’m looks forward to seeing the second episode. For those who want to check out the episode check it out on Crunchyroll.com or Viz.com which will start premiering episodes April 12th.
