You CAN’T tell me there’s no bias when it comes to people of color. If this gentlemen and his family was Black or of dark complexation he and his hole family would have been dragged off. Maybe even shot. I am not trying to diminish this man’s horrible experience.
But we need to think about how privileged white people are. Even when they are being somewhat mistreated they are treated more with respect.

I’m not surprised. These people that make the decision to greenlight a show want more viewership. And they want the viewers to look like them. This Netflix movie gonna flop big time! ANME FREAKS ARE SOME SERIOUS FANS!
Reacting to accusations of whitewashing, one of the producers of Netflix’s “Death Note” remake claimed that the roles actually could have gone to Asian actors. This didn’t happen, however, because apparently, the casting team couldn’t find an Asian actor who can “speak perfect English.”

Another day, another black child has been gunned down by a trigger-happy police officer; another community enraged and another family in pain. This time, his name was Jordan Edwards. He was only 15-years-old.
According to Attorney S. Lee Merritt, legal counsel for Edwards’ family, the teen was leaving a party Saturday night with friends after hearing gunshots. He was struck by the officer’s bullet through the passenger side window of the vehicle in which he was traveling.
