‘Cannibal couple’ apparently pickled their last victim
An eerie new photo shows the “Russian cannibal couple” kissing as forensic experts claim that the pickled human remains of their last victim were found in a glass jar in their fridge.
The sinister picture was revealed after it emerged that suspect Natalia Baksheeva, 42, complained that she has been mocked by fellow prisoners in jail, with regular taunts of: “Did you eat enough human meat?”
Her husband, Dmitry Baksheev, 35, is being kept in solitary confinement amid fears he will be “beaten” by other detainees.
Glass jars were found in the couple’s home on the grounds of a Russian military academy along with still-unidentified frozen body parts and “steamed human meat.”
Among the horrific finds are the pickled body parts of “final” murder victim Elena Vashrusheva, 35, according to the Moskovsky Komsomolets news website.
The pair from Kransodar city confessed to murdering the waitress “in a fit of jealousy” after Natalia accused her of seeking to seduce her husband.
In jail, Baksheev is reported to have “complained” about the “separation from his wife,” who was said to dominate him in their relationship.
Viktor Belikov, a human rights activist permitted to meet the alleged cannibal in detention, said: “It is obvious that he loves his wife very much and worries about her.”
Belikov also visited Natalia — whose grandfather Konstantin Chanikov was a decorated World War II hero in Stalin’s forces — and said the pair had spoken of their “mad love for each other.”
Natalia told Belikov she “feels for her husband like a mother.”
Natalia then went on to complain that two other women sharing her cell are taunting her over the cannibalism allegations.
The Russian Investigative Committee — which is similar to the FBI — is examining an alleged confession from the ex-nurse that she and her husband killed and ate at least 30 people.
The alleged victims include women dating site users who went missing after arranging to meet up with them.
Spokesman Vadim Bugaenko said they are checking “information about mass murders” and there is “no confirmation yet.”
However, the couple has now changed tack and, while admitting to Elena Vakrusheva’s murder, they reversed a previous confession and denied they were involved in previous killings or cannibalism.
“Dmitry has heard that the newspapers have called him and his wife Natalia cannibals,” said Belikov.
“I would not say that he was angry, his reaction was more melancholic. But he fully denies having eaten human meat.”
Apart from human body parts, police found videos with instructions on how to cannibalize humans in the couple’s apartment.
They also discovered a picture dating back to 1999 that apparently showed a human face being prepared as a dish surrounded by oranges.
Dmitry “does not look well, he is depressed” and prison chiefs have refused to put him in a cell with others because “he could be beaten.”
Reports say Natalia made and sold “pies” from suspected human meat and even supplied local restaurants.
Retired air force communications officer Sergey Labintsev, a friend of the couple, said they suddenly attacked him with the false allegation that he had slept with Natalia.
“I could have been eaten too,” said the pensioner. “I could have been dead. Last night I had a nightmare that they were making steamed meat from me.”
“Some six weeks ago, I just survived. They could have eaten me if I had not been in good physical shape.”
“And I’ve known these people for many years and always helped them.”

Beware These Hoaxes Circulating After Las Vegas Mass Shooting
After a gunman opened fire from the Mandalay Bay hotel-casino in Las Vegas in what would be the one of country’s deadliest mass shootings, internet trolls have been hard at work spreading bogus information on social media.
Among the hoaxes was a series of posts identifying the gunman as comedian Sam Hyde. It’s become a disturbing routine for online trolls who have identified Hyde as a suspect in the 2015 San Bernardino shooting and again in a shooting at UCLA last year.
A number of troll accounts on Twitter pushed out phony missing victim photos, asking for retweets to “spread the word.” The “missing” included a suspect linked to a murder case in Mexico, an adult film actor and former Vine star Lil Terio.
And there wasn’t a shortage of conspiracy theories either.
Primarily disseminated by far-right blogs, a news story claimed the shooter was a man named Geary Danley, a mutual friend of Marilou Danley, who has since been identified as the companion of the actual shooter, Stephen Paddock.
Citing Geary Danley’s left-leaning page “likes” on Facebook, which included Rachel Maddow and MoveOn.org, trolls quickly convicted Geary Danley, with some linking him to the antifa movement.
One bizarre story that has yet to be debunked was the claim that an emotionally disturbed woman warned many concertgoers of what was going to happen.
“There was a lady who pushed her way through the front of the crowd … and she started messing with another lady and told her we were going to die tonight,” a witness told a TV news crew.
It’s still unclear if that mystery woman had any ties to the shooting. The Clark County Sheriff’s Office, which covers Las Vegas, did not immediately comment on the incident, which could have been a bizarre coincidence.
How to spot a hoax
There are many ways to investigate for yourself whether a report you’re seeing online is legitimate.
According to experts, one of the first giveaways is a shady domain and URL.
If you’re visiting a site with a questionable news story, an immediate red flag is a domain with an ending like “.com.co.” Most established news sites own their own domain like CNN.com and NYDailyNews.com. Reputable news outlets would almost never opt out of the .com family.
While there are a number of popular blogs written and maintained by journalists, there are also blogs operated by those who identify with radical ideologies. An easy way to sift through this content is by simply searching for the site’s About Us page, where missions and goals are usually stated.
To that end, it’s important to note: reputable news sites almost never speak in the first person.
If a questionable photo is used in the story, take advantage of Google’s reverse image search. This tool has become incredibly useful for those looking to debunk hoaxes and stories that seem too good to be true.
You can learn how to perform a reverse image search, here.
Another easy way to verify whether a story is true or false is to Google it.
If a story sounds shady, searching a few terms on the topic should pull up other related news stories from different outlets. Chances are if other reputable news outlets haven’t reported on this story, it’s probably not true or it’s loaded with inaccuracies, which may be the reason why other outlets opted out.
Finally, look at the comments section.
It’s likely that others already sniffed out the story, deeming it fake news. Readers usually take advantage of the comment section to sound off on the validity of the story in question.

Blogger turns skin removed in designer vagina surgery into necklace
Controversial blogger Tracy Kiss has taken upcycling to a whole new level by using her own labia as jewelery.
Tracy, from London had surgery to remove excess skin from her labia after suffering 29 years of painful problems, and decided to use it, not lose it.
Tracy explained to Metro how she first realised something was wrong after feeling a burning sensation down below after exercising.
Her doctor diagnosed a cyst caused by friction because of the excess skin on her labia and she was advised to have it removed.
After the operation, Tracy asked her surgeon if she could keep the skin and proudly displayed it at home in a jar full of surgical fluid.
Tracy explained: “I have kept my labia in a jar since my surgery to celebrate my freedom from pain as it took me 29 years to realise that anything was wrong with my tender protruding labia because nobody has ever talked about it.”
After the unneeded flesh has been sitting in it’s jar for some months, it turned from pink to grey and Tracy started to look into ways of preserving it which would be more attractive.
In a video on her blog, Tracy walks us through the steps it took to make two wrinkly, slug-like bits of her own flesh, into a glittery pendant she’s clearly proud to wear.
The first step to making flesh into finery was to remove the pieces from the surgical fluid and dry them out for 48 hours.
Tracy used a cereal box, cotton thread and tiny pegs normally used for hanging Christmas cards to create a tiny washing line for the labia.
Once they were dry, a liberal coating of shiny pink paint was applied.
After that followed an avalanche of glitter.
Tracy then used crystal resin and a jewellery mould to make the final pendant design which she threaded onto a choker and proudly displayed.
Tracy is passionate about speaking up about the issue of female genital surgery, and she hopes her unusual pendant will be a talking point.
“Its contents may not be immediately obvious to the unsuspecting eye or to everybody’s taste” says Tracy, “but that’s the beauty of it.”
Tracy isn’t afraid of utilising whatever bodily parts or fluids she has to hand in her quest for fitness and happiness. She has made headlines before talking about her love of sperm smoothies and semen facials.

Dress-up shop is selling pregnant Kylie Jenner costumes
A week ago, the world found out that Kylie Jenner is pregnant. Now there’s a best-selling Halloween costume featuring her barely-there baby bump.
Within 48 hours of the preggers news — broken by The Post’s Page Six — e-tailer Yandy.com, which makes lingerie and other sexy apparel, was selling its Kylie costume, dubbed “Reality Star in the Making.”
“We’ve received so much interest that we’ve actually had competing sites reach out to us to request the costume — which, of course, we didn’t allow because this is a Yandy exclusive,” said a spokeswoman.

Wisconsin Teen Pleads Guilty to Attempted Murder Charge After She and Friend Stab a Classmate 19 Times to Please ‘Slenderman’
A second Wisconsin teenager accused of stabbing a classmate to please the fictional Internet bogeyman Slenderman has accepted a plea deal, her attorney said Friday.
Morgan Geyser, 15, will appear in court Thursday, October 5, to plead guilty to a charge of attempted first-degree murder, attorney Donna Kuchler told CNN.However, the plea deal stipulates Geyser was not criminally responsible due to her mental health, Kuchler said. She will be committed to a mental hospital operated by the state Department of Health Services, Kuchler said.
CNN affiliate WTMJ reported that the deal calls for a maximum of 40 years in a mental institution. There’s no minimum sentence Prosecutors could not be reached for comment Friday.
Geyser and Annisa Weier were both 12 in May 2014 when they allegedly stabbed a 12-year-old schoolmate in a Waukesha park 19 times and left her to crawl to her own rescue. The victim has since recovered from her injuries.
CNN does not generally name minors who are charged with crimes, but it does make exceptions if the minors are charged as adults. Both Geyser and Weier were charged as adults.
Weier, 15, pleaded guilty in August to attempted second-degree homicide due to mental illness or defect in the stabbing as part of a plea agreement. Then, in September, a jury said Weier was mentally ill when the attack occurred.
Weier will spend at least three years at a mental hospital before she can petition for her release, her lawyer, Maura McMahon, said at Weier’s hearing. A judge could also order a commitment of up to 25 years, she said.
One of the girls encountered the name of Slenderman on a website known as Creepypasta Wiki, authorities said. One of the suspects allegedly told police that Slenderman is the site’s supposed leader, and to climb into his realm, a user must kill someone.
During the trial, a psychologist testified that Weier developed a condition called shared delusional disorder, in which she came to share Geyser’s delusion that Slenderman was real, CNN affiliate WISN reported.
Geyser was diagnosed with schizophrenia a few months after the assault, CNN affiliate WISN reported.
Pennsylvania woman charged with shooting 64-year-old pharmacy executive in face
A 33-year-old woman living with a 64-year-old pharmaceutical executive was charged with shooting him in the face and then staging a burglary to cover her tracks.
Jennifer Morrissey was arrested on charges including burglary, tampering with evidence, possessing instruments of a crime and criminal homicide in the slaying of Michael McNew, from Bucks County, ABC 6 reported.
The pair began living with each other in 2015 but recently had a falling out. According to court documents, he wanted her out of the house, which likely sparked the deadly confrontation.
McNew reportedly told her he’d be boxing up her belongings and sending them to storage.
Authorities found the father and grandfather dead in a chair in his Pennsylvania home — along the Delaware River — on Aug. 8
Investigators were able to recover a series of threatening texts from Morrissey to McNew, sent the same day, according to CBS Philadelphia.
“Get the gun ready cause I’m coming, I already told you I’d be there tonight … guess you’re just going to have to shoot me,” she allegedly texted. “You have a choice. Touch my stuff or I’ll cut your throat.” According to Bucks County District Attorney Matthew Weintraub, another text reads: “I’ll gut you like I’m field dressing a [expletive] deer.”
Investigators would not elaborate on the details of Morrissey’s relationship with the executive, though she did indicate he’d been financially supporting her, investigators told NBC.
“It’s safe to assume there was a relationship between Mr. McNew and Ms. Morrissey,” Weintraub said. “It’s not disputed that Ms. Morrissey did have a boyfriend other than Mr. McNew.”
McNew reportedly threatened to give the FBI information on her boyfriend — he has not been charged, though officials believe she tried to cast suspicion on him initially. Investigators said it appeared Morrissey took great care in covering up the crime. She allegedly staged a robbery scene, stealing a laptop and cellphone, as well as deleting all her text messages.
In an interview with police, the 33-year-old suspect tearfully said McNew took care of her and that he didn’t deserve to die.
Morrissey was being held at the Bucks County jail without bail and is slated to appear in court on Oct. 16.
Woman who helped save boy from burning truck may face charges – this is why people don’t get involved and don’t help
An Idaho woman who helped rescue a child from a burning truck could face criminal charges.
Thirty-four-year-old Tequila Isaacson was driving through Snoqualmie Pass in Washington state on Sunday when she saw a pickup truck in flames at a rest area.
Isaacson said the boy’s parents were trying to get him out while another man called 911.
Isaacson broke the glass door of a coffee shop to get a fire extinguisher to help save the boy.
Isaacson said a trooper later told her she would need to pay to replace the glass door or could face burglary charges.
No charges have been filed yet.

Transgender teen’s eyes gouged, genitals stabbed, authorities say
Some of Ally Lee Steinfeld’s burned remains were found in a bag in a rural southern Missouri chicken coop. Authorities say both of the transgender teen’s eyes had been gouged out and she had been stabbed in the genitals.
As questions swirl about why the quiet 17-year-old was killed in such a ghastly manner, authorities aren’t saying what led to the killing. But they dismiss the possibility the death was a hate crime.
Authorities identified the remains as those of Joseph Matthew Steinfeld Jr. – Ally Lee Steinfeld’s birth name. They were found last week in the town of Cabool, near the mobile home of one of the alleged killers, 24-year-old Briana Calderas, with whom Steinfeld was living.
Calderas and two 18-year-olds, Andrew Vrba and Isis Schauer, are charged with first-degree murder and other counts. A fourth suspect is charged with abandonment of a corpse and tampering with evidence.
Both Sheriff James Sigman and prosecutor Parke Stevens Jr. insist the crime was not motivated by Steinfeld’s gender identity.
“I would say murder in the first-degree is all that matters,” Stevens said. “That is a hate crime in itself.”
Yet the killing has drawn the attention of transgender advocates and others across the U.S. who believe Steinfeld was targeted for her gender identity, despite what the Texas County sheriff and prosecutor say.
“This violence, often motivated by hatred, must come to an end,” said Chris Sgro, spokesman for the Human Rights Campaign, who said Steinfeld was the 21st transgender person killed this year in the U.S. “We will continue to mourn Ally and fight back against transphobia and anti-trans violence.”
Steinfeld had been missing for weeks, and initial news reports referred to her as a male, in part because missing-person posters distributed by the family used Steinfeld’s birth name, as did police documents.
Steinfeld’s mother, Amber Steinfeld, still refers to her child as Joey, but said the teen identified as female to family and to friends on social media. She said her child was “loving and kind-hearted.”
Steinfeld was engaged to a woman until they broke up in August, Amber Steinfeld said, and soon after began dating Calderas. She said Steinfeld and the two 18-year-old suspects were all living at Calderas’ mobile home. She said Steinfeld was upbeat before she disappeared, telling relatives that she loved them and was happy.
Steinfeld grew up mostly in House Springs, Missouri, near St. Louis, Amber Steinfeld said. The family moved briefly to Florida, then to Texas County, an area of rugged hills in southern Missouri.
Steinfeld dropped out of high school upon turning 17, Amber Steinfeld said. At about the same time, the rest of the family moved back to House Springs, but Steinfeld stayed in Houston, Missouri, living with different friends.
In May, Steinfeld posted on Instagram that she was coming out and was “mtf,” or male-to-female. In a posting on June 13, Steinfeld referred to herself as “Trans male to female and I am mostly lesbian but pansexual.” In another that same day she wrote, “I am proud to be me I am proud to be trans I am beautiful I don’t care what people think.”
Vrba told investigators he initially tried to poison Steinfeld, then described how he stabbed Steinfeld in the living room of Calderas’ mobile home, Deputy Rowdy Douglas wrote in a probable cause statement. The female suspects said Vrba bragged to them about how he gouged Steinfeld’s eyes and stabbed Steinfeld in the genitals, Douglas wrote. The probable cause statement does not offer any motive.
Authorities say the three suspects burned Steinfeld’s body, placed some of the bones into a garbage bag and put the bag in the chicken coop. Calderas admitted helping burn the body and led authorities to the knife used in the killing, Douglas wrote.
An attorney for the three suspects, Michael Jacobs, said Tuesday that it was too early to comment.
Linda Camara, 61, a friend of Steinfeld’s family, was struck by the gruesome nature of the killing.
“People kill each other, which is bad, but to do it that way, that’s something you see in movies,” Camara said. “And the three people who did this, they were kids, too.”

Brothers lived with mom and partner’s corpses for days after double suicide – believed the couple were “asleep and cold”
Four young brothers in Spain lived with the decomposing bodies of their mother and her partner for nearly a week after the couple killed themselves – not realizing they were dead despite the overpowering stench.
The boys, between the ages of 5 and 13, believed the couple were “asleep and cold,” the Daily Mirror reported.
They dressed and fed themselves, and went to school, while the corpses rotted away after what police say were deliberate drug overdoses.
One of the youngsters finally mentioned to their landlord that their 32-year-old mom had been asleep for days. When he went to check, he was overcome by the smell of death.
On Sept. 20, police found the bodies of Rocio Aguilar and her 40-year-old partner, Jose Antonio, inside the home in La Zarza-Perrunal in southwestern Spain.
It turns out that cops had already stopped by after the boys’ school raised concerns – but they left when the kids assured them that their mother was asleep.
The co-owner of a hostel where the family had stayed before moving to the rental place told the Spanish paper El Mundo that they had arrived “with nothing” only two weeks earlier.
“They were running from something, I do not know what,” said the woman, who only gave her first name, Isabel.
Bella Vazquez, the hostel’s other co-owner, said she knew Aguilar when she was a child and that her family had moved away to Huelva during a mining crisis.
“She was a girl with a very miserable life. It’s a terrible shame,” she said. “There are four children who will hopefully go on and have a good life.

Canadian Woman Who Got Tattoo on Her Eyeball May Lose Eye, Is Warning Others About Procedure
Catt Gallinger, 24, from Ontario, Canada, is warning others of the drastic consequences of getting a “sclera tattoo” — a tinting of the whites of the eyes to another color using a hypodermic needle — after getting purple ink injected her right eye. Gallinger said that she got the tattoo in mid-September and since then, it has swelled, purpled, leaked colored tears and her vision could be permanently ruined.
According to the model, who has been posting written and video updates to her Facebook page, the damage was “caused by undiluted ink, over injection, (and/or) not enough/smaller injections sights” during the procedure.
Gallinger’s eye initially began leaking the light purple ink before swelling shut. Three weeks later, the sclera itself began to swell and hemorrhage, with the sclera tearing due to a puncture from the needle, leading to irritation, double and blurred vision. Doctors gave Gallinger drops and ointments to contain the swelling, dispel the ink, dilate the pupil and help disperse the ink.
Doctors are concerned the equipment wasn’t sterile, due to an infection caused by the ink, Gallinger said. A commenter on one of her videos asked if she was planning to take legal action, she simply said, “yes.”
Gallinger acknowledged that she should not have trusted the artist, who repeatedly asked her to get the tattoo done, but also said he should not be insisting on performing a sensitive procedure without proper training. Gallinger warns others to do their research on artists, body modification procedures, and to reach out to others to get feedback.
After receiving comments that what she did was “stupid,” Gallinger said in an emotional video on Sep. 25: “you know what? You really think that after something like this, I’m not the first person thinking that? I’m the first person to think that every single time I look at myself.” Gallinger, who wears light sensitive dark glasses inside and outside, is completely discouraged from continuing her modeling career.
“I don’t see myself ever being comfortable enough to do another shoot. I can barely look at myself except for when I have to do my treatments,” she wrote on Sept. 23.
Her most recent post said she was waiting to meet a cornea specialist.
“I am sharing this to warn you to research who you get your procedures by as well as how the procedure should be properly done,” Gallinger wrote in her first public post about the incident.
Doctors have done corneal tattoos for medical reasons and to cover discoloration from disease or injury, but the trend of sclera tattoos as a cosmetic body modification can be traced to 2007, with posts on BME.com, a body modification blog, about a “highly experimental procedure that should not be emulated.” Currently, the site has more than 100 pictures of users’ tinted eyeballs. In Oklahoma, the state Senate passed a bill declaring sclera tattoos illegal in 2009.
