4 arrested over ‘bodily fluid’-tainted cupcakes served to classmates
WINCHESTER, Conn. – Police arrested four people accused of serving cupcakes tainted with bodily fluid to their former classmates at a Connecticut high school, according to WTIC.
The two boys and two girls aren’t being identified since they were juveniles at the time of the incident. They face charges of conspiracy to commit fourth-degree sexual assault, fourth-degree sexual assault, and second-degree breach of peace.
The four allegedly served the befouled baked goods to classmates at The Gilbert School in Winchester last year.
A concerned parent, who asked to remain anonymous, told WTIC they distributed the cupcakes and acted as though they were doing it out of the kindness of their hearts.
“Then, during lunch, they bragged about putting ‘bodily fluids’ into the cupcakes to a small group of friends at lunch,” according to the parent. “They expected their friends to find it funny, but reactions apparently backfired.”
The cupcakes had the number 17 written on them in icing, but former student Kelsey Owens told WFSB that there was a code to the desserts.
“The kids they didn’t like got the ones with dashes through the seven so they knew those were the tainted ones,” Owens said.
“The case was presented to the prosecuting authorities (Juvenile Court) after an extensive forensic examination of the ‘cupcake’ and DNA comparisons of the suspect juveniles,” police said.
No staff or students reported falling ill after eating the cupcakes.
Dr. Anthony Serio, head of schools, issued the following statement about the arrests:
“Nothing is more important to us at The Gilbert School than the safety and well-being of our students, and as such we are grateful for the support and responsiveness shown to us by the Winchester Police Department throughout this difficult situation. We continue to work cooperatively with the police, and any further questions regarding this case should be directed to them.”

Parents arrested after 10 children found in ‘squalor’ describe years of torture
FAIRFIELD, Calif. – Two people were arrested after police in California say 10 children were rescued from “horrible” living conditions.
According to the police department, officers returned a missing 12-year-old boy to a home on Fieldstone Court in Fairfield, located roughly 45 miles northeast of San Francisco, on March 31.
Investigators say nine other children, ranging in age from 4 months to 11 years old, were living in “squalor,” in “unsafe” conditions.
Police arrested the father, 29-year-old Jonathan Allen, on felony counts of child abuse and torture. The mother, 30-year-old Ina Rogers, faces child neglect charges.
Fairfield Police Lt. Greg Hurlbut said during a press conference Monday that there was “garbage and spoiled food on the floor,” as well as “animal and human feces and a large amount of debris making large amounts of the house unpassable.”
Hurblut said he believed the children had been home-schooled, but couldn’t say if authorities had been contacted in the past about their living conditions.
Rogers claims the mess came from her tearing the house apart to look for her son in March. Lt. Hurlbut said officers found the boy sleeping under a bush in a neighbor’s yard.
After investigators entered the home, Rogers’ children were taken by child protective services and she was charged with child neglect.
During the following six weeks, investigators say the children started to open up about how Allen was treating them.
“The children described incidents of intentional abuse, puncture wounds, burns, bruising and injuries consistent with being shot with a pellet or BB gun,” Hurlbut said.
“When the children were safe with other family members it came to light that there was significant abuse and incidents of torture,” Chief Deputy District Attorney Sharon Henry said. “The children who were interviewed talked about the incidents, which went back several years.”
Allegations in the criminal complaint date back to 2014, Henry said.
On Friday, officers arrested Allen, charging him with nine counts of felony torture and six counts of child abuse.
“That’s why this is absolutely crazy,” Rogers said of the children’s father. “He was the nice guy. He was the one playing video games with them and I was telling them we need to clean up and do chores.”
Rogers allowed KTXL to see the conditions inside her home but she claimed the mess was made by the police department when they arrested Allen.
“They tore up everything and I haven’t had time to clean it because I’ve been back and forth to work. I work graveyard.” Rogers said.
But officers say the conditions between their first visit in March and their second on Friday had not improved, although they did conduct a search of the home.
“So objects were obviously moved while conducting that search but that was not the basis for the charges regarding the environment the children were in though,” Hurlbut said.
Allen is currently being held on $1.5 million bail at the Solano County Jail. Rogers was released after posting $10,000 bail following her March 31 arrest.
Rihanna’s sexy new lingerie line is here
Rih fans, rejoice: Rihanna’s much-awaited lingerie line, Savage x Fenty, has finally arrived.
The line, which Rihanna partnered with TechStyle Fashion Group to produce, dropped online late Thursday night at SavageX.com. Its 90 styles span a wide range of sizes intended to “[celebrate] all shades and shapes,” according to the brand’s website. (It’s similar to the mission of her popular Fenty Beauty line, which is heralded for its wide range of shades.) Prices start at $14.50 and cap at $99.
“We’ve been working on this for a few years now, believe it or not,” the singer told the crowd at her launch Thursday night, held at Villain in Williamsburg. As she stood on stage, a larger-than-life hologram in her likeness strutted around her, modeling various items from the collection. “Finally, after all this time, I cannot believe that everybody’s going to be able to have their hands all in it.”
The collection includes four categories: “On the Reg,” which features not-so-basic basics such as T-shirt bras and briefs; “U Cute,” which consists of feminine lace pieces; “Damn,” which ups the sexy ante with frisky garters and sheer corsets; and “Black Widow,” which gets naughty with the likes of cupless bras and sheer bodysuits.
In tune with the brand’s size-inclusive, shade-inclusive mission, the campaign is shown on models of different races and body types. “I think RiRi is, truly, starting a revolution,” one of the posers, Stella Duval, tells The Post in an email. “She is changing the way people view beauty. She is lighting the barrier between ‘plus-size’ and ‘straight-size’ — she is making us equals.”
Rihanna hopes her fans — all of them — love it just as much.
“Tell all your friends, your cousins, your sisters, your girlfriends and your ex-girlfriends, too,” she told the crowd Thursday. “Because Savage is for everybody, regardless.”

Accused stalker sent man 65,000 texts after one date, police say
PARADISE VALLEY, Ariz. – A woman is accused of breaking into an Arizona home, bathing in the homeowner’s bathtub, and sending tens of thousands of disturbing text messages to the man’s phone after the pair went on one date, according to KNXV.
In July 2017, 31-year-old Jacqueline Ades was found parked outside of the victim’s Paradise Valley home, police said. The man also accused her of repeatedly texting him, despite him saying he no longer wanted to talk to her.
Officers found Ades still outside the victim’s home when they arrived and told her to leave, officials said. Shortly after, the man started to receive threatening text messages from the suspect.
Police received a similar report in December from the same residence, but officers were unable to locate her.
On April 8, the victim called a detective a third time, saying he was out of the country, but saw Ades in his home while checking his home surveillance video.
When officers arrived at the home, the woman was taking a bath, police said.
A large butcher knife was discovered on the passenger’s seat of her car, court paperwork said. She was taken into custody and charged with trespassing.
After Ades was released from jail, she allegedly started sending more threatening text messages to the victim — some of the messages alluded that “harm may come to him,” authorities said.
Less than three weeks later, the victim called authorities to report receiving multiple threatening text messages from her, court documents said. The man also explained that they met on a dating website, and after one date Ades began stalking and harassing him.
Ades allegedly sent about 65,000 text messages to the man’s phone. The victim said that she sent about 500 text messages to him a day, court documents said.
In one of Ades’ messages, she allegedly stated, “…Don’t ever try to leave me…I’ll kill you…I don’t wanna be a murderer.” She also said that she wanted to wear his body parts and bathe in his blood, court paperwork said.
On May 4, police were called to a business in Scottsdale after passersby reported Ades “acting irrationally and claiming to be the owner’s wife,” police said. The owner of the business is the Paradise Valley homeowner.
Ades was arrested on Tuesday on charges of threatening, stalking and harassment.
While being questioned by police, the suspect explained that she sent the man text messages all day but he never responded, court documents said. She said that she threatened him because she was worried he had called police to report her behavior.
The woman is also accused of admitting that she threatened him because she didn’t want him to leave and because she loved him, court paperwork said. She allegedly admitted to knowing her statements were “crazy” and plans to return to Florida once she’s released.

Mother accused of giving birth at McDonald’s, telling police she ‘found’ newborn baby
NORFOLK, Va. — A Virginia mother is accused of lying to hospital workers about giving birth to a baby at a McDonald’s and claiming she “found” the newborn inside the restaurant, WTKR reports.
Nicole Jones, 23, told medical staff at a hospital she found the baby while eating at McDonald’s, according to court records.
Hospital officials told police the baby had depressed body temperature, was in critical respiratory arrest and his umbilical cord had been cut but not clamped which resulted in significant blood loss.
Jones said she called 911 after she “found” the baby but was told it would be “a while” before an officer could respond so she took the baby to a local hospital.
Police went to Jones’ home and found blood, a medical kit and a one-year-old boy who was crying. During an interview with police, Jones admitted to giving birth to the baby.
Court records indicate Jones used her phone to search “safe home births” and “water births.” She also searched for safe haven options in Virginia.
Jones is being held without bond, according to WTKR.
Fetus found after 2nd NYC woman in days says she disposed of newborn
HARLEM, Manhattan — For the second time in two weeks, a woman in NYC arrived at a hospital seeking medical attention after allegedly giving birth and throwing out the fetus, officials said Friday.
A fetus was found in the trash outside a Harlem home on Amsterdam Avenue between West 131 and West 133 streets after cops were called to a Manhattan hospital Thursday evening, according to police.
A woman, 23, arrived at the hospital after having given birth earlier on Thursday, police said.
The woman allegedly told police the general location of the fetus she had discarded.
It is not yet known if the baby was alive when the woman gave birth, police said.
Friday’s investigation comes two days after a 23-year-old woman arrived at a hospital in Richmond Hill, Queens complaining of severe abdominal pain and trauma, police said.
The woman showed evidence of having given birth, and told officials she delivered a baby on Sunday that was not responsive, so she disposed of it, police said. The fetus was believed to be about 28 weeks along.
It is not clear if investigators ever located the fetus in the earlier incident.
The women in both cases have not yet been charged.
Man allegedly tries to buy 7-year-old girl for $200 at grocery store
COBB COUNTY, GA (WGCL) — A Marietta man has been arrested and charged following an investigating that involved the suspect trying to purchase a female child for $200.
Cobb County authorities say the incident took place May 7 at a Kroger located in the 2100 block of Roswell Road.
According to investigators, the grandmother of a 7-year-old female became alarmed when an unknown male began following them around the grocery store and making inappropriate comments about the child.
At one point, the grandmother says the man asked to purchase the child for $200. She also states she has seen the male at a Wal-Mart and during that incident, the male requested to “have” her granddaughter for $100.
The suspect, Einodd Samimi, was chased through the store and to his vehicle by several shoppers after the exchange at the Kroger. He was arrested later that day at his residence.
Samimi was charged with enticing a child and criminal solicitation.

Man accused of trying to hire hit man through white supremacist group to kill black neighbor
A white South Carolina man is accused of trying to hire a hit man through a white supremacist group to kill his black neighbor.
Brandon Cory Lecroy, 25, of Hodges, was arrested in April after he contacted the white supremacist group, and then made an arrangement with an undercover FBI agent to carry out his plan, authorities say in federal court documents.
A grand jury Tuesday indicted Lecroy on federal charges of soliciting someone to commit a violent crime, and using interstate commerce facilities — in this case, a cellphone — in the alleged scheme, the US Attorney’s Office in Greenville says.
Prosecutors didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment. It wasn’t clear whether Lecroy has an attorney.
A probable cause affidavit doesn’t say how Lecroy came in contact with the undercover agent, or why he allegedly wanted his neighbor dead.
According to the affidavit, an FBI informant told investigators in March that Lecroy contacted a white supremacist organization, and “indicated that he wanted to seek assistance with the murder of his African-American neighbor.”
The next day, Lecroy talked by phone to an undercover FBI agent in Virginia, and allegedly made an arrangement with the undercover agent “to pay for the murder of his neighbor,” according to court documents.
In the call, Lecroy made a request “to put a ‘flaming cross’ in the front yard and hang his neighbor from a tree,” the affidavit says.
“Five hundred dollars and he’s a ghost,” Lecroy said during the phone call, according to the court document.
In a phone call two days later, Lecroy reaffirmed the agreement and gave the undercover agent “further intelligence on when to best … commit the murder as well as plans to take over the victim’s property,” the affidavit says.
On April 9, Lecroy met the undercover agent in Greenwood, South Carolina, discussed “future targets,” and gave the agent “a $100 cash down payment with acknowledgment that this payment was for the murder of his neighbor,” the affidavit says.
Lecroy was detained on April 9. After a hearing that day before a US District Court in Anderson, a judge ordered that Lecroy be committed for up to 45 days to a federal facility for a psychiatric or psychological evaluation. It wasn’t immediately clear where Lecroy was being held.
If convicted on all charges, Lecroy could receive up to 10 years in prison and be fined up to $250,000, prosecutors said.
Mom admits she let men rape daughters, ages 5 and 6, in exchange for money
FULTON COUNTY, Ga. — A 25-year-old woman pleaded guilty to allowing two men to sexually assault her two daughters in exchange for cash.
The Office of the Fulton County District Attorney said Friday that the girls, ages 5 and 6, told their guardians that their mother, Morgan Summerlin, would take them to men’s homes to be molested and raped. The men would then pay them and Summerlin would take their money.
One of those men, 78-year-old Richard “Pop” Office, was found guilty on Tuesday of rape, child molestation, trafficking a person for sexual servitude, enticing a child for indecent purposes and sexual battery. He was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole, plus 146 additional years.
Summerlin also allowed Alfredo Trejo to abuse the girls in multiple and similar ways. Trejo was convicted of rape, sexual battery, child molestation and aggravated child molestation. He was sentenced to 25 years and life on probation.
The children’s grandmother, Teresa Davidson, also pleaded guilty to cruelty to children for failing to protect the girls after they told her they were being abused. She was sentenced to five years in prison.
Summerlin pleaded guilty to cruelty to children, trafficking a person for sexual servitude and enticing a child for indecent purposes. She will be sentenced on June 4.
