8-year-old in Oklahoma expelled after telling another girl she had a crush on her
An 8-year-old Oklahoma girl was expelled from her Christian school after telling a classmate she had a crush on her, her mother told local media.
“My daughter was crying, saying, ‘Does God still love me?” Delanie Shelton, of Owasso, Okla., told Tulsa-based KOKI.
Shelton’s daughter, Chloe, was a student at Rejoice Christian Schools, according to the outlet – at least until recently.
School policy prohibits boyfriend and girlfriend relationships in general and administrators told the station they were following the student handbook.
Shelton told KOKI that her daughter Chloe’s vice principal sat her down and said “the Bible says you can only marry a man and have children with a man.”
Shelton said she later the told the vice principal that she thought it would be “OK for girls to like girls” and that the administrator then “looked shocked and appalled.”
Rejoice did not immediately respond to a Fox News request for comment.
The school was founded in 1992 on faith-based principles, according to its website. It is one of the largest Christian schools in the greater Tulsa area.
“Rejoice Christian Schools exist for the purpose of partnering with parents in training students in Bible-based Christian principles and in the establishment of a high-quality academic foundation,” the school’s mission statement reads.
Its statement on philosophy cites Deuteronomy 6:5-7 and argues that parents are responsible for their children’s education.
Shelton said she is raising her children not to judge others and to love whoever they want.
“They ripped my kids out of the only school they’ve ever really known away from their teachers and friends they’ve had over the past four years over something my daughter probably doesn’t know or fully understand,” she told the station.

Ohio Republicans propose that June 14 is Donald Trump Day
The proposal from two Republican state legislators would make June 14 every year President Donald Trump Day in the Buckeye State, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer.
Representatives Jon Cross and Reggie Stoltzfus made the request to their fellow lawmakers via an email on Friday, asking them to co-sponsor a bill “to celebrate one of the greatest presidents in American history.”
“Let’s show the 3,154,834 Ohio voters who cast their ballot to re-elect Donald J. Trump that we as a legislature recognize the accomplishments of his administration,” the email read, according to the newspaper.
June 14 is Trump’s birthday, and it’s not uncommon for states to honor former leaders.
California and 39 other states celebrate President Regan’s birthday on Feb. 6
Illinois unofficially celebrates Barack Obama Day on Aug. 4.

Black Lives Matter is nominated for a Nobel peace prize
Black Lives Matter has been nominated for the 2021 Nobel peace prize — a pitch that lauds the movement’s fight against racial injustice but takes little note of the decidedly non-peaceful violence and property damage that has been committed in its name.
BLM was nominated for the humanitarian honor by a Norwegian politician who hailed its multi-racial breadth, calling it “a very important worldwide movement to fight racial injustice,” The Guardian reported.
The pol, Petter Eide, a member of Norway’s Parliament, brushed aside questions of the movement’s occasions of violence on Friday.
“Studies have shown that most of the demonstrations organised by Black Lives Matter have been peaceful,” Eide said.
“Of course there have been incidents, but most of them have been caused by the activities of either the police or counter-protestors.”
More than 93 percent of U.S. BLM protests have been peaceful, according to a September study by the Armed Conflict Location and Event Data Project, which looked at 7,750 demonstrations from four months of last year.
Still, throughout the U.S. and Europe, BLM demonstrations have devolved into bottle-throwing, fire-setting, graffiti-spraying. statue-toppling and attacks on police in the years since it was founded in 2013 in response to the acquittal of the man who shot Trayvon Martin.
Most recently, in New York, hundreds of BLM demonstrators tangled with NYPD officers in City Hall Park on Martin Luther King Day.
Eleven cops suffered minor injuries, including a captain who was struck in the head with a bottle, but who was wearing a helmet at the time.
Meanwhile, former President Donald Trump has been nominated for a second time, by another Norweigan pol.
Christian Tybring-Gjedde, a far-right member of Parliament, cited Trump’s role in normalizing relations between the United Arab Emirates and Israel.
The Norway-based Nobel Committee is expected to choose the winners in November.

Alleged 9/11 mastermind, Gitmo detainees to start getting COVID vaccines
Here’s a real kick in the shin: chances are accused 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed will get the COVID vaccine before you do.
Accused terror masterminds like KSM and other detainees at Guantanamo Bay will begin receiving the coronavirus vaccine, the Pentagon confirmed Friday, even as the United States continues to experience severe shortages of the miracle jab.
A spokesman for the Department of Defense confirmed that officials had signed an order which will see COVID-19 vaccinations “offered to all detainees and prisoners.”
The shots could be given as soon as next week.
“It will be administered on a voluntary basis and in accordance with the Department’s priority distribution plan,” spokesman Michael Howard told The Post.
Forty detainees remain at the United States military prison in Cuba, including the man accused of plotting the worst attack on US soil, which claimed 2,977 inncocent lives on Sept. 11, 2001, and has since been linked to thousands of other deaths.
The order was signed on Jan. 27 by Terry Adirim, the Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs who was sworn in as a Biden appointee on Inauguration Day, a Pentagon spokesman confirmed.
The move immediately sparked outrage from New Yorkers who lived through and helped bring New York back from its darkest day.
“You can’t make this up. The ridiculousness of what we get from our government. They will run the vaccine down to those lowlifes at Guantanamo Bay before every resident of the United States of America gets it is the theater of the absurd,” said Tom Von Essen, who was city Fire Commissioner during 9/11 and lost 343 firefighters on 9/11.
“It’s f—ing nuts,” he said of KSM getting the vaccine before most Americans can.
John Feal, a demolition supervisor at the Ground Zero pile in the aftermath of the attacks who has various 9/11-related illnesses, and who has not yet gotten the vaccine, was stunned by the news.
“The fact that the 9/11 community can’t get the vaccine and the terrorists can show how backward our government is,” he told The Post. “It’s the most ludicrous thing I’ve ever heard. It’s an insult to the people who ran into the towers and were killed and those who worked on the pile for months and are ill.”
The average 9/11 responder was 38 at the time and are now age 58-59, short of the cutoff to get the vaccine in New York, said Feal, who runs the Feal Good Foundation, an advocacy group for 9/11 responders and who helped push Congress to permanently extend the 9/11 Victims Compensation Fund.
Brian Sullivan, a retired special security agent with the Federal Aviation Administration, said, “I’m incensed. It’s totally outrageous. I’m 75. I haven’t gotten my COVID vaccine. They’re going to give it Khalid Sheikh Mohammed?”
Sullivan added it’s a scandal that the terrorists haven’t faced justice approaching the 20th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks. “This news adds insult to injury. It’s slap in the face to the 9/11 victims’ families,” Sullivan said.
“This year will be the 20th anniversary and the terrorists are still at Guantanamo. And now we’re going to give them the COVID vaccine. It’s just insane.”
Two other men, accused of being accomplices to the 2002 nightclub bombings in Bali, which killed 202 people, would also be in line to get the vaccines under the Defense Dept. order.
The Pentagon’s decision comes as states like New York complain that their cupboards are bare, forcing them to cancel a mass inoculation program, and the Biden administration warns that shortages of the jab will last well into 2021.
On Tuesday, The Post revealed that thousands of New York City teachers have had their COVID-19 vaccine appointments canceled due to dwindling supply and scheduling snafus.
“It is inexcusable and un-American that President Biden is choosing to prioritize convicted terrorists in Gitmo over vulnerable American seniors or veterans,” said Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY).
Retired FDNY Lt. Michael O’Connell worked search and rescue when the towers fell. It left him with sarcoidosis, an auto immune disease.
“This is a real kick in the balls. It’s very upsetting. It’s absolutely disgusting,” he said of the Gitmo vaccination order.
“These terrorists committed harm but the patriots are the one who have to wait to get vaccinated. We responded within 10 seconds of when the first plane crashed into the building. Here we are a year later [since the COVID-19 outbreak] and the politicians can’t get it right on the coronavirus vaccine.”

Ohio teen fatally shot taking out trash just after kissing mom on cheek
A 14-year-old Ohio boy was fatally shot just moments after kissing his mother on the cheek and taking out the trash, authorities and family members said.
Dayvion Jones was walking in his Columbus neighborhood when he was confronted by a group of men in a stolen SUV shortly after 4 p.m. Sunday, the Columbus Police Department said in a statement.
One of the men then whipped out a gun and fired at Dayvion before driving away, cops said.
The SUV later crashed at a nearby intersection, prompting the suspects to flee, police added.
Meanwhile, cops arrived at the scene and found Dayvion lying on the ground with a gunshot wound.
The teen was rushed to a local hospital where he died. No arrests have been made.
Kim Jones said she heard gunshots shortly after her son kissed her on the cheek and left the house to take out the trash.
“We hear gunshots and we’re like ‘Oh, my God, is somebody shooting at our house?’ This is how close it was,” she told WBNS.
The frantic mother then rushed out of the house to look for Dayvion, but it was too late.
“I got in the car and it’s like my car wouldn’t drive fast enough and when I got there the police, they all was pulling up but my son was in the middle of the street face down, dead,” Jones recalled.
Jones said her son — who was on house arrest because of a fight last year — wasn’t perfect but had a beautiful smile and a sense of humor.
“Dayvion, I miss him so much,” the distraught mother told the outlet. “Dayvion was everything to everybody that he touched.”

Teacher busted for allegedly trying to hire hitman to kill his mom
A Kentucky middle school teacher tried to hire a hitman to kill his mom, authorities said.
Billy Reynolds, a teacher and school bus driver for West Carter Middle School, was arrested Thursday for allegedly offering someone $10,000 in the murder-for-hire plot, news station WSAZ reported.
State police said they received a tip on Jan. 15 from someone who claimed they had been contacted by 41-year-old Reynolds and given a retainer fee to kill his mother.
It’s unclear why Reynolds had wanted to kill his mom, who lives next door to him in Olive Hill.
Relatives also said they were stunned Thursday by the alleged scheme, WSAZ reported.
The teacher had never previously been in trouble with the law, his uncle told the outlet.
Carter County Schools Superintendent Dr. Ronnie Dotson said Reynolds has been suspended pending the outcome of the investigation.

Kanye West facing lawsuits from allegedly stiffed Sunday Service cast and crew
Kanye West is currently facing two class-action lawsuits alleging mistreatment of performers and staff of his extravagant Sunday Service shows pay, according to reports.
Filed last summer in Los Angeles, the lawsuits are reportedly divided between performers and crew; Frank Kim is repping more 500 performers, while attorneys Harris & Ruble are concentrating on the approximately 300 crew members.
Some of the stories from the lawsuit, reported by the UK Sun, are shocking if by now sadly predictable tales from the gig economy: A hairstylist named Raina Leon claimed she had to wait 120 days for a $550 paycheck from work done in November 2019, which was then less a $20 wire fee deducted by West’s company.
Michael Pearson, a performer, alleged he was paid a flat day rate of $250, and regardless of his hours, was not permitted a meal or restroom breaks, and also alleges that performers stood all day or sat on the floor — because not enough chairs had been sourced — and walked home when a shuttle wasn’t provided for them.
The suits also pertain to West’s “opera,” the “Nebuchadnezzar,” performed at the Hollywood Bowl in November 2019, which allegedly violated California labor laws by not paying employees on time — or ever — and denying overtime, meal and bathroom breaks.
Sources told the Sun that lawyers are tracking down further members of the Sunday Service series and believe the final number of plaintiffs could reach closer to 1,000 people.
“No one knows how involved Kanye himself was, if he knew what was going on, as it was all so last minute, it was terribly ran. Whether it was mismanagement, accidental, or on purpose, this is a very strong case,” the source told the outlet.
The Los Angeles County Superior Court has joined the lawsuits together and the Sun’s sources estimate Kanye’s payout could be as high as $30 million should he choose to fight, after settling with the plaintiffs and paying his legal bills.
Meanwhile, the Daily Mail reports that West, 43, is still dealing with another Sunday Service-related lawsuit, this one from MyChannel Inc., which alleges that its employees were stiffed for six months of work on Sunday Service-related technology. The suit, filed in August 2020, claims that West’s lack of payment is tantamount to theft of the tech.
We suppose this means that West’s September claim of spending $50 million on Sunday Services in 2019 will have to undergo an audit.
And of course, all of this comes as West is preparing for his divorce from Kim Kardashian, as Page Six exclusively reported. Earlier this week, he returned to LA from Wyoming.
“He understands Kim’s side has to spin that she is sick of him. In reality, he’s been sick of being involved with [the] Kardashians for a long while,” an insider shared. “Especially her mother [Kris Jenner], who looms large in all big decisions she makes.”
West and Kardashian are the parents of four children: 7-year-old daughter North, 5-year-old son Saint, 3-year-old daughter Chicago and 1-year-old son Psalm.
Page Six has reached out to West for comment.

Texas mother of three murdered while delivering Uber Eats
A married Texas mother of three was murdered while dropping off an Uber Eats delivery on Saturday night, according to authorities and a family friend.
Ryan Munsie, 31, was found dead in the breezeway of an apartment complex in Haltom City outside of Fort Worth at about 9:35 p.m., according to police.
Munsie had visible signs of trauma and was declared dead on scene.
Authorities have not yet revealed Munsie’s cause of death. As of Tuesday, her killer remained on the loose.
Police said Munsie was working for a meal delivery service when she was killed.

Texas dad fatally shot when confronting daughter’s cyberbully, family says
A Texas dad was fatally shot when he went to confront the parents of a teen who had been cyberbullying his daughter, his family said.
Brandon Curtis, 35, of Houston had hoped to put an end to the harassing messages that a boy had been sending his 15-year-old daughter for nine months, news station KTRK reported.
“When he left from here, my husband went to go resolve the issue. He wanted to go speak to the parent,” Curtis’ wife, Shantal Harris, told the news station.
Curtis had spoken to the boy’s father before, but he went over with his daughter and son to address the issue again Friday evening at the home in the Humble area.
While outside the residence, the confrontation escalated to violence, KTRK reported.
A 20-year-old man told police that Curtis hit his younger brother, the outlet reported.
He claimed he then pulled out a gun to defend the teen boy and shot Curtis, who was pronounced dead at the scene, the outlet reported.
But Curtis’ family strongly denies that he would have become physical with the boy.
“My brother would never put a hand on a child,” Curtis’ sister, Jeran Perkins, told the news station. “We want justice.”
Curtis’ wife also denied that he would have become violent.
“I know my husband. My husband is not like that,” she said, adding, “For them to claim self-defense, it’s sickening.”
No charges have been filed against the shooter.
The case will be referred to a grand jury when the investigation is complete, the Laredo Morning Times reported.

Wife reportedly stabs husband after she sees a photo of him having sex with a woman – she was that woman
A Mexican woman flew into a rage and stabbed her husband when she found what she thought were snaps of him on his phone having sex with another woman — who happened to be her when they were dating years ago.
Police responded last week to reports of a domestic dispute at the couple’s home in Cajeme, Sonora, where they discovered the man with multiple stab wounds on his arms and legs, the Daily Mail reported.
His wife, identified as Leonora A, reportedly went ballistic when she found the explicit photos on his phone showing him having sex with who she thought was another woman.
Without asking him about the photos, Leonora allegedly began attacking her shocked hubby, identified as Juan N., who finally managed to wrestle the knife from her hands and asked her what set her off, the outlet reported.
Juan then told Leonora that the woman she thought he had been cheating with was actually her — when they were just dating.
His wife apparently did not recognize herself because she was younger, thinner and had makeup on, according to the report.
Juan, who is expected to recover from the injures, told investigators that he told his jealous wife that he had recently found the photos in an old email and transferred them to his phone.
Leonora was arrested and remains behind bars pending charges, the Daily Mail reported.
