Man breaks into car, relaxes inside, then sets it on fire in Brooklyn
A man was caught on video breaking into an unlocked car on a Brooklyn street — relaxing in the back seat for more than five minutes before setting the sedan on fire and sauntering away, police and law enforcement sources said.
The man was spotted on police surveillance footage walking in the area of Humboldt Street and Nassau Avenue in Greenpoint early last Sunday morning — pulling on the door handles of cars parked along the street, police and sources said.
Shortly before 6 a.m. he approached the driver’s side of a blue 2018 Hyundai Sonata, and appeared to try to open the locked front door, the footage allegedly shows, according to a source.
With no luck on his first try, he moved to the rear driver’s side door, which was unlocked, and climbed into the back seat, where he remained for several minutes.
Shortly thereafter, he got out of the car, finished smoking a cigarette, threw it to the pavement and casually walked away as the vehicle went up in flames. It wasn’t immediately clear what he used to start the fire, police said.
Photographs released by police late Friday show the man inside a nearby bodega, where he loitered for approximately 40 minutes after setting the blaze.
He was last seen wearing a black jacket with a black hooded sweatshirt underneath. He has dark, medium-length hair.

Arnold Schwarzenegger drop-kicked while greeting fans in South Africa
The Terminator got taken down — and his kindergarten cops let it happen.
A crazed man blasted Arnold Schwarzenegger with a flying double dropkick to the back yesterday, sending the former California governor sprawling during a sports event for school kids in South Africa on Saturday.
A video posted to YouTube captured the assault, showing an unsuspecting Terminator smiling and taking pictures with fans at the crowded gym.
His attention is drawn to a girl skipping rope near him — and he had no clue he was about to be assaulted.
The clip shows The Terminator going down, but doesn’t show how he lands.
A security guard then holds the man down on the floor.
Just moments beforehand, the suspect can be seen walking up behind Schwarzenegger, holding up his right arm and waving as if he wants the former bodybuilder’s attention.
A member of the security detail grabs the man by the arm and leads him off camera. But somehow the drop-kicker got past the posse moments later.
After going down, the 71-year-old lived up to his iconic on-screen line.
He came back.
Appearing unfazed, Schwarzenegger reassured those attending his Arnold Classic Africa in Johannesburg that he was fine. He smiled and shook hands.
Following the incident, the actor took to Twitter to let his fans know he was okay.
“Thanks for your concerns, but there is nothing to worry about. I thought I was just jostled by the crowd, which happens a lot. I only realized I was kicked when I saw the video like all of you. I’m just glad the idiot didn’t interrupt my Snapchat.”
He followed up suggesting fans share a video of a handicapped athlete showing off his archery skills instead.

‘Fake psychologist’ treated hundreds of patients in Virginia, deputies say
STAFFORD COUNTY, Va. – Authorities say a woman who posed as a licensed psychologist for more than five years in Stafford County treated hundreds of patients, according to WTVR.
Sharonda L. Avery, 42, was employed as a psychologist at a medical practice in Stafford County since 2012, according to Amanda Vicinanzo with the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office.
“Avery has treated hundreds of children and adults,” Vicinanzo said. “She was fired from the medical practice, which is no longer in business.”
Officials said deputies began receiving “numerous complaints” in October of 2018 questioning if Avery was a licensed psychologist after several alleged victims claimed they or their children had been misdiagnosed by Avery.
As a result, detectives said their investigation revealed Avery, who claimed to have two doctorate degrees and a master’s degree, was not a licensed psychologist in Virginia. However, deputies said she never graduated from college.
Accordingly, Avery of Spotsylvania was charged with obtaining money by false pretenses, passing a forged document, perjury and practicing psychology without a license on May 6.
Officials said the perjury charge is related to allegations that Avery, who claimed to be a doctor, testified in Stafford Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court in 2017.
Avery is being held without bond at Rappahannock Regional Jail.
Anyone with information that could help investigators is asked to call the Stafford Sheriff’s Office at 540-658-4400.

NYPD officer accused of trying to hire hitman to kill ex and a minor
NEW YORK — An NYPD officer has been arrested for allegedly trying to hire a hitman to kill her ex, a source told PIX11 Friday.
Valerie Cincinelli, a 12-year veteran with the department, has been arrested, the source said. It is not clear if the ex is a former boyfriend or her husband.
Police confirmed Friday that a 34-year-old female police officer was charged with conspiracy to commit murder, with the Eastern District of New York prosecuting.
A criminal complaint accused Cincinelli of asking a confidential FBI source to help her hire a hitman to kill her second husband and a minor whose identities weren’t made public.
The officer, who was arrested by the FBI, is currently suspended without pay, police said.
Court papers say the source informed her he knew someone who would do it for $7,000. They say that after a local detective went to her home on Friday with a fake story that her husband had been murdered, the source recorded her cooking up an alibi.
Cincinelli had previously been placed on modified duty for a prior domestic incident, according to the source.
She is part of Police Service Area 9’s Video Interactive Patrol Enhanced Response unit, which does surveillance for the New York City Housing Authority.
Cincinelli was ordered held without bail at hearing federal court on Friday. Her lawyer declined comment.

Catholic school music director sought sex with undercover cop posing as teen
A Catholic school teacher was busted after he sought sex with an undercover officer posing as a 14-year-old girl, saying he wanted to get intimate with her on a “desk in his classroom,” court documents reveal.
Lazaro Benito Rocha — the 26-year-old director of music at St. Peter, Prince of the Apostles Catholic Church in Corpus Christi, Texas — was arrested Thursday on suspicion of online solicitation of a minor and display of harmful material to a minor, according to an arrest affidavit obtained by the Corpus Christi Caller-Times.
Rocha replied on May 6 to an online ad posted by an undercover officer posing as a 14-year-old and knew potential consequences he faced, writing that “anyone 18 and older can get in trouble if they were to be found with someone your age,” according to the document.
The undercover cop stopped replying at that point, but Rocha contacted the officer the following day.
“I’m not complaining,” Rocha replied, according to the affidavit. “Are you?”
After asking for the teen’s cellphone number, Rocha then sent a photo of his genitals and asked the person he thought was an underage girl if she had lost her virginity before suggesting possible sex acts they could perform, the document states.
“During the messages, Rocha stated he was 26 years of age and a teacher,” the affidavit states. “Rocha stated he wanted to have sex with the 14-year-old on the desk in his classroom.”
A spokeswoman for the Diocese of Corpus Christi told the newspaper that Rocha, who worked part-time at the St. Peter, Prince of the Apostles Church, is no longer working for the diocese.
Rocha also will not return to Incarnate Word Academy in Corpus Christi, where he worked part-time as an elementary music teacher. He passed a required background check and drug testing prior to his employment, according to a statement by the school’s president.
Rocha, who posted bail Sunday, was at the school while he sent the sexually explicit messages and his vehicle did not leave the building during that time, according to the affidavit.

Woman sentenced for posing as sheriff’s deputy to free boyfriend from jail
An Arkansas woman who posed as a California sheriff’s deputy to break her boyfriend out of jail has been sentenced.
Maxine Feldstein, 30, pleaded guilty on Monday to several charges, including criminal impersonation, and was sentenced to 30 years in prison, but half her sentence was suspended by the judge, KFSM-TV reported.
In July, Feldstein posed as deputy “L. Kershaw,” with the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office, at the Washington County Jail, and presented forged documents to fool those at the jail into freeing her boyfriend.
Boyfriend Nicholas Lowe reportedly told Feinstein to pose as a deputy from the sheriff’s office, the station reported, citing court documents. Lowe told his girlfriend she should tell the jail staff that the sheriff’s office was “having issues with overcrowding and all low-priority extraditions have been suspended.”
Two days later, a real Ventura County sheriff’s deputy called the jail to let them know he was on his way to pick up Lowe, which is when jail officials realized what happened.
The couple was arrested in Fayetteville about a month after the incident.
In court earlier this week, Feldstein also pleaded guilty to second-degree criminal impersonation, forgery and third-degree escape. In February, Lowe pleaded guilty to third-degree escape and was given a year in prison, with credit for time served, and will be suspended for five years once he’s released.

Oklahoma woman accused of stabbing her 11-year-old daughter 50 to 70 times, hitting her in the head with an ax and then setting their home on fire has been sentenced to life in prison.
A Tulsa County Judge handed the sentence Thursday to 40-year-old Taheerah Ahmad, who pleaded guilty last month to two counts of child neglect and one count each of first-degree arson and assault and battery. Her daughter survived and authorities say she has recovered from her injuries.
Ahmad was arrested last May after authorities said she attacked the girl and bound and gagged two younger daughters, who escaped and were found unharmed.
An arrest report said Ahmad told investigators she was upset with her children “because of the way they were reading and looking at her.”
