Justin Bieber apologizes for ‘saying really hurtful things’ related to race
Justin Bieber is apologizing for “hurtful things” he’s said in the past.
In an Instagram post Wednesday with an image of the words “STAND AGAINST RACISM,” the singer, 25, addressed his past mistakes around race.
“When I was young I was uneducated and found myself saying really hurtful things not knowing the power of my words,” he wrote. “Racism Is still very prevalent and I want to use my voice to remind we are all human being and all of EQUAL VALUE BEFORE GOD!”
Though he did not say what he was referring to, fans will remember that the singer offended when two videos surfaced in 2014 of him saying the N-word and mentioning the KKK.
In an earlier post, he shared a more general message addressing his past actions.
“I’m determined this holiday season to take ownership of all my shortcomings and work on them for myself and the ones I love!” he said. “What is your goal?”
Bieber’s comments also come at the same time that his wife, the former Hailey Baldwin, announced an art auction they’re organizing.
In another Instagram post, Bieber shared a screenshot of the auction details along with the caption: “Proceeds to families in need. Love, The Biebers”
The Biebers, who tied the knot last year, celebrated with a wedding Sept. 30 in South Carolina.
The happy couple and several famous friends posted photos of the festivities to Instagram at the time after the festivities. Justin shared two black-and-white photo booth shots of him and Hailey kissing, with a design in the upper left-hand corner that read “The Biebers, September 30, 2019.”
“My bride is ?,” he captioned the photo. In the picture, Hailey wore her hair pulled back in a low bun, showing off her Tiffany & Co. diamond earrings. Her wedding bling was also on full display on her ring finger in the sweet snapshots.

Terry Crews criticized over reaction to Gabrielle Union’s ‘AGT’ ouster
“America’s Got Talent” host Terry Crews is catching heat from supporters of Gabrielle Union who believe he hung her out to dry.
NBC has been accused of ousting Union as a judge, Variety reported, after she expressed concern over a “toxic culture” on the set of the popular competition series. Fellow celebs, including Ellen Pompeo and Debra Messing, have spoken up on Union’s behalf, resulting in the actress sending a public thank-you message to her supporters.
Crews, 51, took to Twitter to respond to Union’s appreciative post, simply writing “You’re the best, Gabrielle! You will be missed!”
The short statement didn’t sit well with some fans of the 47-year-old actress, who said Crews should have come to her defense more vehemently. Fans also noted that Union was one of very few public supporters of Crews when he accused Hollywood agent Adam Venit of groping him at a party in 2017.
“She was there for you but this is the best you could do. Not surprised,” wrote one follower, while another responded, “Oh Terry. This is all you’ve got? That’s a shame.”
“This is disappointing Terry,” added another fan of Union’s. “She stood up for you when you needed it and this is how you repay her?”
In its statement Sunday, SAG-AFTRA confirmed the union’s involvement in an investigation of the allegations against NBC.
“We take issues of workplace health and safety very seriously. We immediately reached out to Ms. Union’s representatives when these reports came to light. It is our practice to work closely with members who reach out to us and their representatives in instances like this, as that usually affords the best protection and best resolution for the affected member.”
According to Variety, Union “urged” producers to report a Korean joke allegedly made by guest star Jay Leno to human resources, but several insiders told the publication the incident didn’t make its way to HR. The line was cut from the episode.
Variety also reported that she received the note that her on-air hairstyles were “too black” while working on the show.

Kid Rock’s Detroit restaurant is closing after profane Oprah rant goes viral — but he says he’s not racist
Kid Rock confirmed that, come April, he will not be renewing the licensing agreement for his Made In Detroit restaurant, his signature eatery at Little Caesars Arena that opened in 2017. The space will instead offer a new concept which “aligns with our community and company values,” said Chris Granger, president of sports and entertainment for Ilitch Holdings, according to Detroit Free Press.
The news comes days after Kid Rock’s drunken, profanity-laced tirade against Oprah Winfrey went viral, with the 48-year-old musician alluding to the drama in a Wednesday Facebook post announcing the news.
“I appreciate all who have patronized our place and still have much love for the City of Detroit and the people / organizations that I have helped there for years, black, white, whatever, but learned long ago, go where you’re celebrated, not tolerated,” Kid Rock, whose real name is Robert James Ritchie, wrote.
“I guess the millions of dollars I pumped into that town was not enough. I will let the NAN network and others go ahead and take the wheel now. Good luck,” the Detroit native continued.
Kid Rock was referencing the not-for-profit civil-rights organization National Action Network (NAN), founded by the Reverend Al Sharpton, with whom the rocker has clashed over the years. He added, “Trump 2020!!” before specifically listing a few organizations in Detroit to which he’s donated hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Hours later, he tweeted, “All this BS going on has just go my blood pumpin’ and is only more songwriting fuel for a new record and tour in 2021. I am beholden to no one, no corporate sponsors, no label and I am gonna go the f*** off!” He added in another tweet, “You haters better be shaking in your boots.”
The “Only God Knows Why” singer faced backlash after a vulgar video of him bashing Winfrey, Joy Behar and Kathie Lee Gifford was posted online last week. Kid Rock, who appeared heavily intoxicated, made the statements on a mic at his Honky Tonk bar in Nashville. Many people viewed his comments as racist, something he denied mid-rant.
“Oprah Winfrey is like ‘Hey, I want to get some white women to believe in this [expletive],” he yelled. “And if you say that, you’re like, ‘Hey, well I’m pretty sure Kid Rock is a racist.’ I’m like, okay fine. [Expletive].”
“I’m not a bad guy,” added the musician. “I don’t like Oprah Winfrey or Joy Behar.”
He continued, “They’re like, you’re [expletive] racist, I’m like, you’re [expletive] weird. You call your people, I’ll call mine.”
Kid Rock (sort of) elaborated on his disdain for Winfrey in a follow-up tweet Friday.
A Detroit activist group said it plans to hold a news conference on Wednesday about what it calls his “reprehensible tirade,” according to the Associated Press.

Gucci Mane was R Kelly’s ghost writer, rapper reveals
According to a new interview with OJ da Juiceman, “If you listen deep into it R Kelly singing and sh*t”.
2019 has seen R Kelly arrested on federal sex trafficking charges in Chicago, face further claims of abuse from his ex-wife and seen his ex-girlfriend Jocelyn Savage claim he made her have two abortions.
Now the R&B singer’s name has been brought up in a ghost-writing claim from rapper OJ da Juiceman, who claims fellow rapper Gucci Mane penned lyrics for R Kelly.
In an interview with CountryRapTunes, OJ da Juiceman claimed that his 2009 R Kelly collab ‘Supaman High’ actuall featured secret vocals from Gucci Mane and R Kelly’s lyrics were written by the rapper.
OJ da Juiceman explained, “Gucci wrote the hook…no, I wrote the hook. Gucci wrote R Kelly’s verse. And R Kelly kept Gucci’s ad-libs. If you listen deep into it R Kelly singing and sh*t, you’ll hear Gucci.”
He went on to say, “The label [said] R Kelly got this record. He need a hook and a verse. The label put the call in. ‘R Kelly? Hell yeah!’ I was happy as hell to do that sh*t. Me to be a trap rapper rapping ’bout dope and sh*t? R Kelly? Got-damn, c’mon man.”
Gucci Mane has yet to respond to the claims at the time of writing.
R Kelly is currently in jail in Chicago awaiting trial, although no trial date has yet been set in the singer’s sex trafficking case.

R. Kelly‘s girlfriend is officially breaking her silence with a video that refutes the abuse claims attributed to her on a Patreon account … claims she calls total BS.
Joycelyn Savage says she wants to clear her name following reports she’d turned on Kelly by posting dirty deets about their relationship on the paysite, Patreon. She says she had nothing to do with the site, and STILL has no plans to assassinate Kelly’s character.
But, in this video we obtained … Joycelyn starts out reading a prepared statement, or, as Kelly’s critics might call it … a script.
As for the claims of abuse, purportedly made in her name on Patreon, she says they were all flat-out false — and she blames an impostor for launching that page, as well as an Instagram account bearing her name.
Joycelyn also reveals the current status of her relationship with Kelly, saying they communicate daily.
It should be noted … lots of people had cast doubt as to the veracity of the Patreon account, including R. Kelly accuser Lisa Van Allen, who explained her rationale to us on “TMZ Live.”
Joycelyn did go off script later in her video statement … adding both she and Azriel Clary are still firmly in Kelly’s corner, although Azriel never appears on camera.
As we reported, Patreon shut down the alleged Joycelyn account after it couldn’t authenticate the owner’s identity.
R. Kelly, meanwhile, is still behind bars … and dealing with multiple federal and state sexual abuse cases, but Joycelyn says she still sees him regularly.

Damon Dash and his baby mamas are cutting him out of the equation when it comes to settling up his hefty child support tab — and instead, the dough will come straight from Lee Daniels.
The hip-hop mogul had a hearing Tuesday in NYC, where he and Rachel Roy and Cindy Morales came to figure out how to square the $950k he owes them in back child support. Their settlement plan involves a previous settlement Damon reached with Daniels. Stick with us.
Lee and Dame reached a settlement earlier this year over a $5 million lawsuit Dame had filed against him. On Tuesday, Roy and Morales’ attorney Donnell Suares, and Dash’s attorney Natraj Bhushan informed the court the child support will come directly out of the pot of money Lee owes Damon.
The deal calls for the women to be paid in installments of several thousand dollars per quarter until the total of $950k is paid in full.
Rachel and Cindy had this idea earlier this year when they sued Lee to get direct payments.
You’ll recall, just last month — in an entirely different legal battle — Dash cried poverty, saying in court docs he couldn’t pay off a $2,400 debt. You’ll recall, cops arrested Dame about 2 weeks ago over the child support. When he got out he told us he’d paid what he owed.
Seems like he didn’t, but at least they’ve now agreed on a payment plan. They just need the judge to sign off on the deal.

Model may need 60-inch butt amputated after illegal injections
A model who cosmetically enhanced her backside to 60-inches with illegal injections has been told by doctors she may have to have it amputated.
Courtney Barnes, also known as Miss Miami, says she is desperate to get her body back and went to see surgeons on E!’s reality show “Botched.”
But the 35-year-old, from Miami, Florida, was shocked when Dr. Terry Dubrow told her that in order to fix her botched backside, it might have to be amputated.
Stunned, she responds: “Amputate the whole booty? I’m not doing that. No, I’m not doing that. I’m not amputating butts.”
Barnes first had the risky fillers injected when she was just 22 and working as a dancer in a club.
“When I was in college I got a job dancing at a club. The first night, after really not making no money on the stage, there was a dancer who walked up to me and she told me that I needed some more booty if I wanted to make some more money,” she said. “That’s when I found out about the injections that gave me my big booty problems.
“So I made the appointment and she showed up at my hotel room. She told me she worked for a cosmetic surgeon and that’s how she was able to get her hands on what she needed. I asked her why she was doing it outside of the office and that’s when she told me the procedure was illegal. It’s foolish, definitely, but all I wanted was a big booty.”
After a year and three rounds of injections, Barnes says she noticed an improvement in her appearance — but she wanted more.
It was during her fourth round that her problems started, she said.
“This time I showed up at her house to have my injections, but after leaving my injections were beginning to leak out of my butt. My butt had so many dimples so I called the lady who injected me immediately. She told me it probably could be fixed with a few more shots and that’s how round number five got started,” Barnes explained.
“That round of injections, it seemed like it only made my butt bigger. She did not fill in the holes. Then number six happened. It made it a bit worse. There was nothing I could do to fix my butt. After six rounds of butt injections, I believe I spent about seven or eight thousand dollars to get me right here, with these big booty problems.”
Barnes decided to embrace what she had done and turned to social media where she posts sexy snaps to her nearly one million Instagram followers.
She has even written an autobiography about her experiences, called “I Am Not My Body — But I Wanted a Bigger Behind,” as she warns other young girls about the dangers of getting the shots.
But despite the fame, Barnes is fed up with the size, discoloration and sag of her butt and wants the fillers removed. So she turned to the “Botched” doctors for help.
Examining her rear, Dr. Dubrow explains that he is struggling to find a separation between the lumpy masses of fillers and normal tissue.
The doctor concluded that she had granulomas — or clusters of tissue that are produced in response to infection, inflammation or a foreign substance.
“Whoa, I’ve never felt anything like this before,” he says, stunned, to the camera in the episode.
He then goes on to explain to Barnes: “Because the masses are so superficially located, you absolutely can’t remove all of them. Unless you amputate … the whole booty.”
He did have some good news, however.
“The good news is that the person didn’t seem to inject much of it into the muscle — and that’s how people die. You get into the blood vessel of the buttock muscle and it goes right into the main blood vessel that goes back to your heart and your lungs. That’s how they’re killing people, so it’s very good that you don’t have that problem.”
Dr. Dubrow goes onto explain how he saw another patient who he didn’t think he would be able to help and then an idea came to him at a later date. He said they crafted a high-risk plan and went to the operating room but it was a success.
“What I would tell you is don’t give up hope,” he added.
Speaking to the camera, Dr. Dubrow says: “Hopefully we can find a way in the future we can figure out an option that won’t be too dangerous.”
Barnes adds: “I’m hopeful that Dr. Dubrow will have a solution for me but don’t take too long because I want a regular butt like a natural booty, like a nice little booty, I want one of those.”

Not long after Spotify announced its upcoming music awards show, Apple has done the same. The Apple Music Awards is a “celebration of the best and boldest musicians of 2019 and the enormous impact they have had on global culture this year.” The event takes place at the Steve Jobs Theater at Apple Park this Wednesday December 4th, and will be live streamed at 9:30 PM ET / 6:30 PM PT.
The star of the show will be Billie Eilish, who’ll be celebrating her Artist of the Year award with a special performance at the event. Other winners include Lizzo, as Breakthrough Artist of the Year, and Lil Nas X, who takes home the Song of the Year award for his earworm tune Old Town Road.
And, because it’s Apple, the physical awards themselves are seriously extra with custom silicon wafer suspended between polished glass, an anodized aluminium body and patterns created by ultraviolet lithography — no cheap plated participation trophies here. Watch the event live via iTunes.
