Lizzo Says She’s Down for a Thong Line with Tommy Hilfiger
Lizzo says Tommy Hilfiger has connected with her on a future collab, and the article of clothing she thinks they can peddle best … butt cheek dental floss.
We got the pop superstar Sunday outside of the Sweet Chick waffle house in L.A., where our guy asked what’s on the horizon for after a mega-year of praise and accolades. Before she can even answer, Lizzo tells us straight-up … she’s pretty hungover. So, we helped her out.
Our photog suggests politics as a new lane she could pursue, but Lizzo literally laughs in his face. Hm, okay … maybe not. On the fashion front, however, she’s apparently making moves.
You’ll recall … we ran into Tommy in December when he told us he wanted to work with Lizzo in some capacity for a potential new line … telling us he thought she was a star.
Welp, it seems TH may have gotten in touch … and Lizzo says she’s landed on good old-fashioned thongs as what they might be working on. Makes sense, that’s kinda her thing.
Lizzo’s certainly not afraid to show (and shake) what her momma gave her, as we’ve seen in the recent past. She actually showed off her thong at a Lakers game in December, and now … it looks like a Tommy Hilfiger partnership could follow. Assuming either of ’em is serious.
In any case … Lizzo’s upgraded from “kiss my ass” to something a bit more graphic. We’ll let her explain for herself.

Kobe Bryant’s pilot had been disciplined by FAA over weather-related flight violation
The pilot of the helicopter that crashed into a Calabasas hillside last month, killing NBA star Kobe Bryant and eight others, violated federal flight rules in 2015 when he flew into busy airspace near Los Angeles International Airport despite being ordered not to by air traffic control, according to records from the Federal Aviation Administration obtained by The Times.
Ara Zobayan was flying northbound in an AS350 chopper when he was denied clearance to traverse the airspace because weather conditions had reduced visibility below what is known as visual flight rules (VFR), according to the enforcement action records obtained through a freedom of information act request.
The FAA said Zobayan took responsibility for the violation and underwent counseling, but faulted him for his lack of preparation. “Had Mr. Zobayan properly planned and reviewed current weather at LAX, he would have been able to anticipate the required action to transit … resulting in proper coordination,” the report says.
Federal authorities are investigating Zobayan’s actions during last month’s flight when he veered out of control after flying into heavy clouds. Zobayan also died in the flight.
On the May 2015 flight, Zobayan was flying for Island Express Helicopters, the same charter company where he worked for years leading up to the crash. It is not clear where Zobayan was traveling that day or whether he had any passengers.
Near the Hawthorne Airport and the 105 Freeway, he contacted a tower at LAX to gain clearance to fly through the airspace. The tower told Zobayan that the airfield was reporting less than three miles of visibility and a cloud ceiling at least 1,000 feet above the ground.
Zobayan, who was relying on his sight to guide him, responded with a request to continue under special VFR, which would grant him clearance to fly in weather conditions with less than the minimum visibility for regular visual flying. When the tower denied that request and told him to navigate around the airspace, Zobayan backtracked and said that he could actually maintain VFR.
During the conversation, Zobayan continued flying northbound and entered the airspace without approval, violating FAA rules, according to the enforcement report.
An FAA investigator, who was not named in the document, did not recommend remedial training and instead opted to counsel Zobayan in several areas including operating in airspace around large airports, special VFR weather minimums, proper planning and reviewing weather.
“There are no indications that this is a repeated incident and there are no signs that this incident is a trend with Mr. Zobayan or any other [Island Express Helicopter] personnel,” the investigator wrote.
Opinions among pilots and experts are split on the severity of the violation.
Shawn Coyle, a longtime helicopter pilot, said the violation is considered relatively minor.
“I don’t know a single pilot out there who hasn’t violated a rule,” he said. “If that’s the only violation he’s ever had then I would say he’s pretty safe.”
The report comes as investigators continue to try to determine the cause of the deadly chopper crash on Jan. 26, a process that will likely take months. However, investigators have said Zobayan was struggling with poor visibility in the moments before the aircraft slammed into the hillside.
But Zoey Tur, a veteran Los Angeles news chopper pilot, noted that both the Hawthorne incident and the Bryant flight involved a case when the pilot found himself struggling with poor weather conditions.
“As a pilot you’re supposed to check the weather conditions along the route of flight,” Tur said.
A representative for Island Express Helicopters could not be reached for comment. An attorney representing the company did not respond to a phone call from a reporter on Friday.
Kurt Deetz, a former pilot for Island Express Helicopters, said navigating around the controlled airspace near LAX would have added only five to ten minutes to the flight.
He contends the pilot also should have known that LAX rarely allows helicopters to fly under special flight rules in the airspace around the airport. Entering the airspace without approval, he added, can be dangerous because of potential conflicts with commercial jets.
“You can’t request special VFR and then they deny you and you say, ‘Oh wait a minute, actually I’m VFR’,” he said. “That’s not how it works. It shows that perhaps his understanding of special VFR as opposed to VFR was cloudy.”
Zobayan reported the incident to his employer and the FAA. Island Express Helicopters told federal investigators that they conducted additional ground and flight training with Zobayan in response to the situation.
Helicopter pilots and aviation experts say less-than-ideal weather is not uncommon for experienced pilots, but flying when visibility is decreasing poses an extreme danger.

New Jersey just raised its threat level for white supremacists to ‘high,’ well above ISIS and al Qaeda
)White supremacists are officially more of a threat to New Jersey than both ISIS and al Qaeda, according to state security officials. In New Jersey’s annual Terrorism Threat Assessment report, released Friday, the state raised the threat level for white supremacist extremists to “high” — the topmost category for threat levels for any extremist group there. The only other threat listed as high as white supremacist extremists are homegrown violent extremists, who also held the top place in 2019’s report. White supremacists were previously listed as a moderate threat, along with ISIS. But in 2020’s report, white supremacists moved up while ISIS receded one level, to “low.” White supremacists outrank Boko Haram, black separatist extremists and more than a dozen other extremist groups in the report.
What changed from 2019 to 2020
The report specifically discusses a rising threat from white supremacist extremists over the last year, referencing the El Paso Walmart shooting as an example. The shooter in that incident wrote a racist, anti-immigrant four-page document.
The report also mentions local incidents, like the arrest of a man who admitted to instructing members of a neo-Nazi network to vandalize synagogues and was accused of expressing interest in attacking black people with a machete at a New Jersey mall. “The ever-changing threat landscape in New Jersey and around the country requires us to adjust our strategies to anticipate new threats while remaining ready to combat those already existing,” said Jared Maples, director of the New Jersey Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness, in a news release.ISIS, on the other hand, was reduced to “low” because of the group’s focus on a global presence, rather than attacks on the US. Black separatist extremists went from “low” in 2019 to “moderate” in 2020’s report, after two people associated with the ideology killed four at a kosher supermarket in Jersey City late last year.
The report outlines the ways white supremacist organizations in the state have actively attempted to spread their beliefs and recruit new members. According to the report, since January 2019, there have been 168 reported instances of white supremacist propaganda distribution, compared to 46 reports in 2018.
And it’s not just discourse — the report also states that white supremacist groups can turn to violence to create the social change they desire.”Some white supremacist extremists argue that participating in mass attacks or creating other forms of chaos will accelerate the imminent and necessary collapse of society in order to build a racially pure nation,” the report states.New Jersey’s report comes just over a week after the Anti-Defamation League found increased white supremacist propaganda efforts across the country. The number of times hate groups left flyers, stickers, posters and other handouts more than doubled between 2018 and 2019 — growing from 1,214 to 2,713 incidents, according to the ADL.

Whitney Houston hologram tour is already creeping people out
There was outcry last year when it was announced that a hologram of Whitney Houston was set to go on tour years after she died. That hasn’t changed now that folks are getting a sneak peek at the show. “An Evening With Whitney : The Whitney Houston Hologram Tour” is set to kick off February 25 in the UK and footage of it making the rounds on British TV is eliciting quite the response. “I’m not saying the Whitney Houston hologram tour will be a hot mess, but they are suggesting she had as much grace as a malfunctioning The Sims character wafting away a fart on #ThisMorning,” one person tweeted. The singer, who died in 2012 at the age of 48 after an accidental drowning, is the latest celeb to get the hologram treatment.
Holograms of Tupac and Roy Orbison have also made headlines. In 2018, Amy Winehouse’s estate announced plans to produce a hologram concert tour to celebrate the singer’s legacy. The Grammy-winning singer died of accidental alcohol poisoning in 2011. She was 27.
Pat Houston, the pop star’s sister-in-law, former manager and now president and chief executive officer of her estate said in a statement last year, “Whitney prided herself on her family and that included her fans.”
“She adored her audiences and that’s why we know she would have loved this holographic theatrical concept,” Pat Houston said. “An event at this level is something special and Base Hologram’s track record to be fully authentic and respectful made them the perfect partner. This upcoming tour will allow audiences to experience Whitney’s amazing voice and passion for music for a long time to come and help them share that magic with future generations.
“Base is the company behind the hologram tour.

DevaCurl Faces Class Action Lawsuit Alleging Hair Loss
NPR’s Leila Fadel speaks with hair stylist Stephanie Mero about the controversy surrounding DevaCurl products.
LEILA FADEL, HOST:
For years now, more and more people have been embracing their natural hair. They’re choosing to let it curl rather than straightening it with heat and chemicals. And if you’re part of the curly hair community, you know this natural hair movement runs deep.
One company’s products dominate this corner of the hair care market, DevaCurl. But now DevaCurl is mired in controversy. Earlier this week, a group of consumers filed a class action lawsuit against the company, alleging that its products were causing them to suffer from scalp irritation, damaged hair and hair loss.
We invited DevaCurl to speak on the program. They declined but provided a statement which reads in part, quote, “we are aware that a lawsuit has been filed, but we do not discuss active litigation. We stand behind the quality and safe use of our DevaCurl products” – end quote. So we’ve called up someone with direct experience with the company’s products, Stephanie Mero. She’s a hairstylist in Orlando, Fla. Stephanie, thanks for joining us.
STEPHANIE MERO: Thank you so much, Leila.
FADEL: So for our listeners, can you explain the significance of DevaCurl to the curly hair community?
MERO: So DevaCurl really is, I feel like, the focus and center of the whole curly hair movement, if you want to call it, or natural hair movement. And so they’ve created this huge brand that’s everything from stylists and products to salons. And even the original founder, Lorraine Massey, wrote the “Curly Girl” handbook.
And since then, it’s really evolved to where there’s all these sort of – you could call them copycats in the industry, all these other product lines coming up. But if you want to say that they jumped on the bandwagon, I would say that DevaCurl is the driver of that wagon.
FADEL: So what led to this lawsuit? I mean, what was happening to you? You’re a hairstylist, right? What was happening to you and your clients?
MERO: So my hair became more important to me when I started doing YouTube videos. And what I noticed was it was – I was going through this amazing healthy hair journey. People were really obsessed with watching my hair grow out because I had chopped it all off. And it started to change. But I didn’t attribute it to the products because I had used them for four years on my clients, on myself with no issues at all. Everyone had super healthy hair, no complaints.
And I had moved actually from Orlando to Miami. And around that time was when my hair started to change, so I just attributed it to, like, dryness or something else. But it got so damaged that I no longer could attribute it to weather.
And then I started to realize that all my clients that use DevaCurl, which was 99% of them – their hair, the texture of it was looking like mine, even if we had totally different hair. And the bald spots and stuff – I noticed that after the fact. So people are upset, as you can imagine.
FADEL: Yeah. When you have – when you find a bald spot, you get a little upset, I would imagine. But you created a Facebook support group for other people to share their stories, stories like your own. And it now has 40,000 members, over 40,000 members. What’s the overall response been to, you know, the allegations?
MERO: Well, there’s a – there’s two very far apart ends. It’s either I believe you and I believe this is happening and it’s happening to me and I’m super upset, and what do I do now? Help. And then there’s the people who are like in there just to see what’s going on but believe this is not at all possible and feel this, like, really strong relationship to the brand.
FADEL: So you’re a hairstylist, like we talked about. So how has this impacted your work? I know this used to be kind of the central product you used on your clients, on yourself. What are you doing now?
MERO: It’s completely changed my work. I had to totally rewire my brain because I couldn’t use the skills I was taught, for example, at DevaCurl academy for styling because that’s for healthy hair. Severely damaged hair has to be treated completely different. And honestly, realizing the scope of this, stylists are going to need training on how to work with it because I cut all my damage off, but most people are not prepared to do that. And that means they need to learn how to work with it. And it’s the stylists’ responsibility to become educated in whatever we need to know to be able to give the person in our chair whatever they need to feel the best about themselves and their hair as possible.
FADEL: That was Stephanie Mero, a hairstylist in Orlando, Fla. And we should say again we offered DevaCurl an opportunity to speak on the program, but the company declined, providing a written statement that reads, in part, quote, all of our products have gone through rigorous testing that has confirmed they are safe and adhere to both quality assurance and regulatory standards. We also recognize that any changes to curly hair for whatever reason demand a special type of attention that safety tests alone can’t address. That’s why DevaCurl is committed to creating a professional curl care council of trusted medical professionals, dermatologists, independent industry experts, professional stylists and members of our Curl community to help us all better understand healthy curls and scalp.

Amber Heard Defecated On Johnny Depp’s Bed, Punched Him For Being Late To Her Party
Amber Heard and Johnny Depp‘s domestic violence case ended up in the latter’s favor a while ago when an audio clip exposed her physically violent behavior towards the Fantastic Beasts star, and now, the actor has referenced another incriminating instance in his defamation lawsuit.
Depp, who seemingly lost his role in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise because of these domestic violence allegations, has recently submitted an official declaration to the federal court of Fairfax County, Virginia, detailing one instance in their relationship when the Aquaman actress physically and emotionally abused him for being late for her birthday party, even though he had informed Heard that he wasn’t going to make it on time because of an important meeting.
The court document reads:
“Among other violent acts, Ms. Heard punched me repeatedly in the face as I lay in bed reading after the party, leaving me with an egg-shaped swelling under my left eye,”
As Depp notes, after he left the penthouse the following morning, either Heard or one of her friends, who were present for the party, defecated on his bed before leaving together for Coachella. The actor also claims that their estate manager Kevin Murphy said to him that Heard admitted the feces was “just a harmless prank.”
A month later, Depp arrived at the penthouse to collect his things and inform Heard that he was filing for divorce, though the actress allegedly “went berserk and started screaming,” phoning her friend iO Tillett Wright to mock Depp and deny the defecation incident, calling it a figment of his imagination.
Then, an angry Depp took the phone and said, “I don’t care. It’s over,” before tossing it towards the sofa where it landed four feet away from Heard. When he turned to walk to the other side of the room, the actress screamed, “Johnny stop hitting me!”
According to the actor, one of Heard’s friends who were hiding somewhere in the penthouse rushed to the scene, yelling, “Don’t do it, stop it, leave her alone.” As the declaration reads:
“I was shocked and immediately denied this absurd allegation because I had neither thrown the phone at her, nor hit her, nor touched her, nor was I physically anywhere near her. Ms. Heard did not know that my two security guards were posted immediately outside the door of the penthouse,”
It would seem that Heard was serially violent towards Johnny Depp, and amid the controversial audio clip in which she claims that no one will believe his allegations, things aren’t looking particularly good for the Aquaman actress. Not to mention that the petition to remove her from the sequel has now reached its target, but we’ll just have to wait and see if Warner Bros. decides to take action in the wake of these new revelations.

Amber Rose Has A Forehead Tattoo
Amber Rose shocked fans on Feb. 7 when she showed off a new forehead tattoo in a photo she posed for with a fan.
Amber Rose, 36, made heads turn on Feb. 7 when she stepped out in public with a brand new forehead tattoo! The gorgeous model’s bold art could be seen in an Instagram photo she posed in with a fan and once other fans took notice, they had a lot to say. In the photo, a smiling Amber can be seen standing near the fan with her proudly displayed tattoo, which appears to read her kids’ names, Bash (for her son Sebastian, 6,) and Slash (for her three-month-old son of the same name). She wore a long-sleeved black top with a plunging neckline and black leather pants. In the caption for the photo, which was taken the Dolls Kill store, the fan shared a story that revealed Amber’s generosity.
“I was just shopping at @dollskill and my card declined bc I forgot to tell my bank I was leaving the state. I walked away to call them and the cashier walked up to me with my bag and said ‘This is for you from Amber Rose.’ LA is WILD y’all,” it read.
Once the pic and story were posted, it didn’t take long for followers on Instagram and Twitter to respond with their opinions. “Holy f*ck. Corey Feldman’s new documentary that will expose Hollywood’s ‘pedophile ring’ will be aired only ONCE
Actor Corey Feldman’s new documentary called ‘(My) Truth: The Rape of 2 Coreys’, which is set to release on March 9, is touted to be a provocative exposé where the musician and one-time teen idol will reveal the details of the most “emotionally trying” period of his life. However, there’s a catch for the much-anticipated documentary — viewers will only get one chance to watch the film.
Reports state that ‘(My) Truth: The Rape of 2 Coreys’ will air only once and interested viewers across the world will have to watch it at the same time. The documentary will stream live at 8 pm on the West Coast, which means 11 pm on the East Coast.
Feldman, his family, friends, and colleagues will also be watching the live stream at the time in a private screening.
Feldman, in a statement, said that he is keeping a promise —through the film — to his best friend, late Canadian actor Corey Haim, to reveal to the world about what really happened to the two when they were young actors in Hollywood. Feldman had long promised an exposé of high-profile celebrities in Hollywood who engage in pedophilia and continue to be working in the entertainment industry.
Feldman and his wife Courtney Anne Feldman recently shared a video of the release date and detailed how the documentary has been in the works for at least three years. E-tickets will go on sale on February 22. Feldman said an innovative new technology and platform will be used to launch the film.
This is the first time ever a movie has been shown in this type of platform, according to Movieweb.com.
Although the pricing of the event has not yet been announced, Feldman said that it will be the same price as an average movie ticket and will range between $15 and $20. No advanced screenings of early reviews of the documentary have been scheduled as Feldman does not want his narrative and message to be twisted.
It is not yet clear if even a trailer or any footage from the film will be revealed beforehand.
The actor added that he is not attempting to profit from the endeavor and that he nearly did not go through with it. Reports state that even Netflix turned down the documentary because they felt that the film’s contents were too dangerous to be associated with.
‘(My) Truth: The Rape of 2 Coreys’ will premiere on March 9 at 8 pm Pacific. The film’s releasing on the eve of the 10th anniversary of Corey Haim’s death.
