Liangelo Ball Arrested In China For Shoplifting… UCLA Is Cooperating with Officials
Liangelo Ball, along with 2 of his UCLA basketball teammates, were arrested for shoplifting during a team trip to China, according to ESPN.
The UCLA basketball team was out in Hangzhou before their game with Georgia Tech on Friday.
Ball and his teammates allegedly jacked merchandise from a Louis Vuitton store next to the team hotel. According to ESPN’s Jeff Goodman, players Cody Riley and Jalen Hill have also been arrested.
UCLA issued a statement to TMZ Sports saying, “We are aware of a situation involving UCLA student-athletes in Hangzhou, China. The University is cooperating fully with local authorities on this matter, and we have no further comment at this time.”

Soul singer Jill Scott has filed for divorce from her husband Mike Dobson after 15 months of marriage. Scott cited “irreconcilable differences” and “inappropriate marital conduct that such further cohabitation would be unsafe and improper,” which in Tennessee can mean a number of things including but not limited to verbal or physical abuse, infidelity, sexual impropriety or cruel treatment.
In a statement to Bossip, Dobson said he was “blindsided” by the news and denies that he’s harmed his estranged wife in any way. He also decided to spill a little tea on what he says brought their marriage crumbling to the ground and calls her evil!!
“She’s an evil woman,” the husband told Bossip. “I’m telling you. It’s like what Jill Scott wants, Jill Scott gets. People are in her ear, and if someone comes in to challenge the dumb s**t, they made me be the bad guy and that got me outta there.”
He added: “She’s got issues. There’s no men in that family, there’s only women. And when a man comes in, it’s like a challenge.”
“She’s made other men look bad, but I’m not the one. I said (to her) ‘you’ve met your match,’” Dobson said. “She likes to have men that she can control. You’re not gonna control me. What’s right is right, and what’s wrong is wrong.”

CHRIS ROCK UNDER FIRE OVER FEMALE RAPE COMMENT DURING A SHOW: “THEY CRY RAPE BECAUSE THEY WANT MONEY”
Comedian Chris Rock is under fire over a joke he made at the Comedy Cellar on Thursday. A patron of the MacDougal Street club told PageSix that Rock was explaining that he doesn’t hire women, because they “cry rape” and that he needs witnesses with him at all times in case he was ever accused.
“They cry rape because they want money,” said the comedian, who went on to add that he wouldn’t hire a cleaning lady because he’s terrified of being falsely accused.
Many attendees, especially female attendees, didn’t like the joke at all and began to call him a “sexist pig”, according to a witness.
“I’ve seen him before and he was hysterical, but this wasn’t funny at all,” a woman told Page Six. “Nobody was laughing. There were many boos and many women who were telling him he was a sexist pig. Two people got kicked out.”
As the sssnakes in Hollywood are being exposed, in light of the recent reportings on Harvey Weinstein, and the backlash of Nene Leake’s rape comments during her standup, maybe these comedians should shy away from rape comments.
Reportedly, the comic’s stint resulted in silence from the crowd.

Meek Mill Receives Up to Four Years in Prison for Violating Probation
Meek Mill sentenced to state prison after pair of 2017 arrests violated probation
Meek Mill received a sentence of two to four years in prison after the Philadelphia rapper violated his probation with a pair of arrests earlier in the year.
Mill was arrested in March following a fight at a St. Louis airport, although those charges were dropped. Meek Mill also pleaded guilty to reckless driving in October after he posted videos of himself doing wheelies on a dirt bike in New York City.
Common Pleas Court Judge Genece E. Brinkley, who has previously overseen matters relating to Meek Mill’s probation, deemed both arrests a violation of the rapper’s probation before sentencing him to two to four years in a state prison.
Brinkley, who previously sentenced to Meek Mill to 90 days of house arrest following a February 2016 probation violation, accused Meek Mill of “just thumbing your nose at me” with his repeated violations.

LAMAR ODOM COLLAPSES AT NIGHTCLUB, SECURITY RUSHES TO HELP
Lamar Odom collapsed at his VIP booth at an L.A. nightclub early Sunday morning.
Odom was at Bootsy Bellows on the Sunset Strip when several staffers and patrons noticed the ex-NBA star collapsed to the ground around 2 AM. You can see security rush in to help and he seems to be conscious.
The person who shot the video tells TMZ Sports he saw Odom drinking for several hours before the incident.
The issue … Odom has a serious history with substance abuse — he almost died from a drug overdose at a brothel in 2015.
Odom has since gone to rehab and vowed to change his life — but he’s been partying a lot lately … from strip clubs to nightclubs.
We wish Odom a speedy recovery.

At least 20 people killed in shooting at Texas church
At least 20 people have been killed in a church shooting in Sutherland Springs, Texas, according to Wilson County Sheriff Joe Tackitt.
Terry Crew’s Groper Is Revealed
Hollywood’s cover is finally being blown. May actors, and even adults who were child actors are coming out with allegations of sexual abuse.
A few weeks back Terry Crews revealed that he had also been a victim of sexual harassment at the hands of a powerful Hollywood man.
Variety is now reporting that Adam Venit, the longtime head of WME’s motion picture group, is on leave from the agency as it probes an allegation of sexual harassment involving actor Terry Crews.
Crews disclosed via social media on Oct. 10 that he was groped last year at a “Hollywood function” by a “high-level Hollywood executive.” Sources close to the situation said Crews in recent days has been preparing to cite Venit as the unnamed executive. Crews is a client of WME.
Reps for WME and Venit declined to comment, as did a spokeswoman for Crews.
Details about the incident, including the setting of the event, remain sketchy. It’s unclear if Venit’s alleged intent was overtly sexual or if it was aggressive horseplay that crossed a line. Crews said the groping occurred in full view of his wife.
