Shooter Arrested For Killing Man In Queens Home
The shootings just never seem to stop do they? Up in Queens, New York, Denzel Floyd has been arrested for the alleged murder of Jonathan Polanco, whom was found with a gunshot wound inside Floyd’s home Monday morning.
The chaos then spilled out into the streets when Floyd fled his house in a black Mazda with a man and a woman in tow a short time after the shooting. Floyd traveled 8 blocks before crashing into parked and moving cars.
The shooter then ran from the car with a pink gun in his hand and threw the weapon into a woman’s yard then returned to the car to get a crying woman who’d been riding in the backseat and was unable to walk The other passenger in the car, a 28-year-old man, was screaming that he’d blown his finger off.
Medics took the passenger shot in the finger and Polanco to Jamaica Hospital, where Polanco later died. Also during the shootout, it was said that Floyd shot a 28-year-old man in the back. The victim walked into Long Island Jewish Medical Center where he is in stable condition.
Floyd was charged with second-degree murder, attempted murder, two counts of assault, two counts of criminal possession of a weapon, reckless endangerment and tampering with physical evidence, police said. Floyd’s passengers have not been arrested.
