Google Maps Street View helps Peruvian man discover wife’s affair
A Peruvian man got a bit more than he bargained for when he checked out a Street View of the capital, Lima, on Google Maps — his wife cozying up on a bench with another man, according to a report.
His wife and her paramour thought they were safe from prying eyes as they canoodled by the city’s Puente de Los Suspiros de Barranco, or Bridge of Sighs of the Ravine, back in 2013, the UK’s Express reported.
But one of Google’s cars equipped with a 360-degree camera captured the conniving couple sitting on a bench — the woman, wearing a black top, white shirt and boots, seated as her beau, clad in blue jeans and a white shirt, lounging with his head in her lap.
Although her face is blurred, as is customary on Google Maps, her hubby recognized her by her attire, the news outlet reported.
When confronted, the cheating wife confessed her infidelity — leading to their divorce.

Grandmother, 103, gets first tattoo after release from nursing home isolation
A 103-year-old Michigan grandmother got her first tattoo — after she spent months isolated at a nursing home during the coronavirus pandemic.
Dorothy Pollack, who celebrated her birthday on June 16 in a nursing home in Muskegon, had a surprise request weeks after she was discharged from the facility, CNN reported.
She went to get an image of a frog inked on her arm Friday.
“It was pretty exciting because years ago my grandson wanted me to get [a tattoo] and I wouldn’t do it,” Pollack told the network. “All of a sudden, I decided I would like to have one. And if I could, a frog.”
“Because I like frogs,” she added, laughing.
Tattoo artist Ray Reasoner Jr. told CNN she “took it like a champ.”
“I didn’t even see her wince. Maybe she had half a wince once,” said Reasoner, of A.W.O.L. Custom Tattooing. “She was just so excited. It was an amazing experience. If someone over a century old tells you to do something for them, you just gotta do it.”
Pollack was his oldest client ever, he added.
The centenarian’s granddaughter, Teresa Zavitz-Jones, told the network that “COVID-19 had her in prison for months.”
“The nurse in the home said she was horribly depressed and we needed to get her out,” she added. “We couldn’t see her so we had no idea how she really was. She’s extremely hard of hearing so phone calls were not helpful.”
After her tat, the spunky grandmother also crossed another item off her bucket list — riding on a motorcycle, according to the report.

A home belonging to celebrity cook Rachael Ray was reportedly on fire in upstate New York on Sunday night.
Fire crews were battling flames at the home in Lake Luzerne, as the Warren County Sheriff’s Office told ABC10 the residence belonged to the television personality.
Images showed the flames shooting through the roof of the home.
A spokesperson for Ray said she was not injured in the blaze.
“Rachael, her husband and their dog Bella are safe,” said the rep, Charlie Dougiello.
“The house is unfortunately damaged and we don’t yet know to what extent.”
Ray has been producing live cooking segments for her daytime talk show during the pandemic from the upstate home.

Woman who ripped her eyes out while on meth gets prosthetics
A South Carolina woman who gouged her eyes out during a meth-induced psychotic episode in which she thought she could save the world has received a pair of prosthetic eyeballs that make her “appear more normal to the outside world,” according to a report.
Kaylee Muthart, of Anderson, was 20 when she ripped out her eyes, squishing them with her hands, in February 2018 after snorting and injecting tainted methamphetamine, according to a report in People magazine.
“The drugs take your fears and beliefs and amplify them,” she told the mag. “I thought I had to take my eyes out to survive and save the world.”
Since the horrific act, Muthart has pledged to quit drugs for good and entered rehab, The Sun reported.
On Wednesday, she finally received her prosthetic eyes from Dr. Joseph Gorrin of Gorrin’s Clinic in Greenville, according to the news outlet.
“I was so excited to get them,” Muthart, who is enrolled in blind school, told The Sun. “I just wanted to appear more normal to the outside world.”
Her boyfriend Alex George, 42, said it “melted” his heart to see her receive her new eyeballs.
“She was never any different to me, but I know she’s wanted this for a very long time and I’m so happy she has this now. I felt so much joy, love, appreciation and thanks to God,” he told the outlet.
“Seeing Kaylee happy makes me happy. She is always an upbeat and positive person, but this made her extra happy. It was incredible to be able to look in her eyes,” George added.
Muthart FaceTimed with her mom, Katy Tompkins, to show her the new look
“She cried with happiness too,” Muthart told The Sun. “She is so excited for me and this next chapter in my life.”
Muthart said she celebrated by going to dinner with George at an Applebees where they had their first date.
“Before we had dinner I put on my own makeup for the first time since I lost my sight. That felt very special,” she said.
Muthart, who will soon receive a guide dog, said she has learned a “decent amount” of Braille, can cook, wash clothes, make a bed and even look after pets — and plans to get her high school diploma and go to college.
“I’ve come such a long way from two years ago,” she told The Sun. “Coming off meth was awful, physically and mentally. There was hallucinations and psychosis, but I overcame it thanks to God.”

NYPD cops don’t lift a finger as 11-year-old is beaten in broad daylight
NYPD cops had a front-row seat to a five-on-one brawl — but let the violence play out rather than doing their jobs to break it up, The Post has learned.
An 11-year-old girl was slapped, punched, kicked and even shocked with a stun gun by a group of five other girls after a basketball game around 7 p.m. Sunday on East 125th Street near Madison Avenue in Harlem.
During the roughly 4-minute beatdown, cops sat idly in nearby cruisers — but they didn’t get out until the girl was bloody and bruised, a Post photographer observed.
At least 20 police cars were nearby on the street — with at least one a little more than a car-length away, photos show.
Police sources told The Post the young girl was treated at Mount Sinai Hospital after being cut, bruised and shocked in the stomach with the stun gun. The girl told cops she didn’t know her attackers but knew two of their handles on social media, sources said.
An NYPD spokesman claimed the account witnessed by the Post photographer was “completely inaccurate.
“The officers were met by a large crowd while attempting to come to this person’s assistance. They were outnumbered. Projectiles were thrown at them. And they were forced to reposition and call every available resource in the area,” said rep Al Baker.
The department also tweeted footage it claimed to show people throwing bottles at cops who tried to intervene — though it was unclear when or where the footage was shot, and it does not show the girl being attacked.
But the Post photographer said he observed no bottles being tossed at police — though he was on the scene after hearing reports of an unruly crowd nearby some 45 minutes prior.
It was not known if any arrests were made in connection with the fight.
The hands-off approach comes as the police unions challenge a portion of NYC’s chokehold bill that makes it a misdemeanor crime to use any technique during an arrest that could limit breathing.
Top NYPD officials have also spoken out against the local reform, calling it dangerous, but have denied a slowdown — despite video leaking out from a weekly CompStat meeting capturing precinct leaders telling Chief of Department Terence Monahan that cops were “afraid” of facing charges over the law.
Over the last month, arrests have plummeted, with cops making nearly 60 percent fewer collars, according to NYPD statistics released Monday.
Cops are also pulling over fewer drivers, issuing a quarter of the normal speeding tickets — with the city’s speed cameras violation count holding steady.

Growing Up Hip Hop’s Angela Simmons Confirms Relationship With Boxer Daniel Jacobs
Article via UrbanIslandz
Angela Simmons set social media abuzz today when she posted photos of herself alongside a hot new man.
It seems entrepreneur and reality TV star Angela Simmons is finally looking to hop out of the single ring and start a new relationship and what better way to do so than with her very own champion boxer, Daniel Jacobs. Fans of the 32-year-old Growing Up Hip Hop star have steadily linked her to quite a few high profile love interests over the years. First up on the list is her good friend rapper, Bow Wow. This one is not too far from the truth, though, as the two actually dated in the early 2000s. However, Bow Wow apparently mentioned in a Vlad TV interview that he called it quits based on Simmons’ prior decision to remain a virgin until she got married.
It seems Simmons still held onto her religious beliefs up until a couple of years ago when she got engaged to Sutton Tennyson in 2016. Sadly, Sutton has since passed away, and although he is no longer with her, Angela Simmons has stated that he left her with the greatest gift and the most precious reminder, a son.
In the eyes of her fans, Simmons was also somewhat forcibly linked to her costar Romeo Miller. However, according to actor Justin Sylvester, Romeo is the one who is madly in love with Simmons and not the other way around. Sadly a feud developed between Miller and Angela while on the show, which left her to conclude, “if he’s in love with me, it’s a horrible way to go about it.”
One other person who could be foaming at the mouth as a result of the recent reveal of her new boxer bae, is rapper Yo Gotti. No matter the occasion or setting, the Memphis rapper never hesitates to shoot his shot at the lovely Simmons. He even gave her a nice one-liner in his hit single “Down In The DM.”
Clearly, Simmons and Jacobs are telling their suitors and love interests to eat their hearts out after posing in formal getup in the images shared by Angela on her Instagram account over the weekend. In one photo, the pair stare deeply into each other’s eyes as they hold hands, a truly powerful shot. The caption left below the images is also simple but symbolic, or so we assume. Simmons posted a black heart followed by the term “TKO” with a boxer glove emoji added.
Why Mike Tyson Is Swimming With 30 Sharks
Will a shark prove to be a formidable opponent to Mike Tyson? The former professional boxer will face his latest adversary on the opening night of Shark Week. Leading up to the big fight, Tyson worked with former shark attack survivor Paul de Gelder to face his fears. The pair worked in pools before getting in the ocean, and despite throwing up out of nervousness before and after each dive, Tyson eventually faced his fears and warmed up to the gentle giants, Gelder told Inside Edition.
‘Confessing our love and trust in Jesus’: Justin Bieber, Hailey Baldwin share baptism photos
Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin are celebrating another experience as a married couple: a joint baptism.
Bieber Wednesday shared on Instagram four pictures of Baldwin and himself immersed in an outdoor body of water in a post proclaiming their baptism and commitment to Jesus.
The music superstar’s post said: “The moment @haileybieber my wife and I got baptized together! This was one of most special moments of my life. Confessing our love and trust in Jesus publicly with our friends and family.”
In the first picture, the couple is in the water at what appears to be a dock, the music superstar facing downward with an unidentified man’s hand on his back. In the second picture, Bieber, 26, and Baldwin, 23, are submerged to their shoulders, each holding one of the man’s hands. In the third picture, Baldwin is looking up at the man and in the final one, her head is going under the water while Bieber is blocked by the man’s head.
The post received many responses offering praise and support.
Carl Lentz, a pastor at New York’s Hillsong Church who previously baptized Bieber, responded: “Amazing. Love you.”
Entertainment journalist Jason Kennedy, a longtime Bieber friend, wrote: “One of the top moments of my life doing this with you”.
Vocal producer and instructor Jan Smith, who has worked with Bieber, offered two words of praise: “Blessing!!! Saved!!!!”
Bieber has talked about faith in the past. In an episode of the couple’s Facebook Watch series, they talked about difficulties in their relationship that preceded their eventual marriage.
“We both had made mistakes,” Bieber said. “When we understand how much God’s forgiven us and given us grace, it gives us the ability to give each other grace.”

NASA to remove offensive names from planets and other heavenly bodies
Political correctness has now expanded to space, where NASA says planets, galaxies and other heavenly bodies will no longer be referred to by “offensive” nicknames.
In a press release Thursday, the space agency said that all planets and heavenly bodies will be referred only to by their scientific names, the Houston Chronicle reported.
Under the new rules, the “Eskimo Nebula,” discovered in 1787 by William Hershel, will only be referred to as NGC 2392.
The so-called “Siamese Twins Galaxy” will likewise be known only as NGC 4567 and NGC 4568.
“As the scientific community works to identify and address systemic discrimination and inequality in all aspects of the field, it has become clear that certain cosmic nicknames are not only insensitive but can be actively harmful,” the agency said in a news release.
“NASA is examining its use of unofficial terminology for cosmic objects as part of its commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.”
NASA’s Associate Administrator for Diversity and Equal Opportunity, Stephen T. Shih agreed, saying “These nicknames and terms may have historical or culture connotations that are objectionable or unwelcoming, and NASA is strongly committed to addressing them.”

‘Most sophisticated tunnel in US history’ discovered between Mexico and Arizona
US border officials claim an incomplete tunnel found stretching from Mexico to Arizona could be ‘the most sophisticated tunnel in US history’. The tunnel runs from San Luis Río Colorado, Mexico, to San Luis, Arizona, where it stops short of reaching the surface. It is 3ft wide and 4ft high (1 x 1.3 metres). Smugglers have been using tunnels to get drugs and people across the border for decades.
