Amazon delivery driver caught on camera urinating on IL residential street
ALTON, Ill. (KMOV.com) – Alton residents say loud music coming from an Amazon delivery truck alerted them to see something they wish they didn’t.
“I looked out the window and the Amazon delivery guy had parked here and was doing his thing over there,” said Marcus Wahl.
Residents told News 4 the delivery driver was urinating at the end of a residential street.
“I did what any millennial would do and pulled out my phone,” said Wahl.
The driver isn’t the first one who got caught using the street as a restroom. There are videos of Amazon delivery drivers across the county being caught in the act of urinating in public.
In recent months, there’s been frustration from residents about the lack of professionalism from some drivers.
News 4 reached out to Amazon, who sent a statement saying:
“This behavior is unacceptable and does not reflect the high standards we have for delivery service partners. This individual is no longer delivering Amazon packages and we’ve reached out to the customer to apologize for the experience.”
Amazon said when these issues are presented to them, they investigate and take disciplinary action if appropriate.

Mom arrested after deputies say she let child drive with two other children in backseat
GULF BREEZE, Fla. (WALA) — A child sitting behind the wheel during a traffic stop resulted in an arrest for the child’s mother, who was in the passenger seat, according to the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office.
This happened early Sunday in Florida, when a Santa Rosa County deputy observed a traffic violation. The driver was traveling westbound on Highway 98 in Gulf Breeze when the deputy observed the vehicle swerving, the Sheriff’s Office reports. The adult parent was in the passenger seat, and there were two other juveniles seated in the back of the vehicle, according to a SRCSO news release.
After an investigation into the incident, the adult passenger responsible for the juveniles was arrested. The news release identifies her as Francisca Darla Saria.
She was arrested and charged with the following:
• Permitting an Unauthorized Minor to Drive (Felony)
• Child Neglect
• Expired Registration
• No Proof of Insurance
Bond was set at $23,000, according to the news release.

Pharrell says ‘Blurred Lines’ scandal changed his idea about sexism: ‘We live in a chauvinist culture’
Pharrell Williams is adjusting with the times and taking a step back to discuss one of his biggest pop hits.
The artist-producer and fashion mogul talked to GQ for its New Masculinity issue (released Monday) about his 2013 single, “Blurred Lines,” which he recorded with Robin Thicke and T.I. Back then, there was a controversy surrounding the record’s lyrics, which critics said degraded women, and the tune’s video, in which one of social media’s most openly sexual influencers, Emily Ratajkowski and other women frolicked in skimpy garb.
Ratajkowski called her appearannce in the music video “the bane of my existence.”
Speaking to the men’s fashion magazine, Pharrell said the Billboard award-winning record has aged terribly. He noted that much of the theme surrounding the song wouldn’t be acceptable in today’s #MeToo climate.
“I was also born in a different era, where the rules of the matrix at that time allowed a lot of things that would never fly today,” said Pharrell, 46, of his career then and now. “Advertisements that objectify women. Song content. Some of my old songs, I would never write or sing today. I get embarrassed by some of that stuff. It just took a lot of time and growth to get to that place.”
The 13-time Grammy Award-winner said it took the backlash from his infamous Robin Thicke and Miley Cyrus-performed record to flip his perspective on what the song meant to people within the larger society, not just within his fan base.
“I didn’t get it at first. Because there were older white women who, when that song came on, they would behave in some of the most surprising ways ever. And I would be like, ‘wow.’ They would have me blushing,” the “Happy” singer said.
“So when there started to be an issue with it, lyrically, I was, like, ‘What are you talking about?’ There are women who really like the song and connect to the energy that just gets you up. And ‘I know you want it’ — women sing those kinds of lyrics all the time. So it’s like, ‘What’s rapey about that?’”
The Virginia Beach, Va., native said: “And then I realized that there are men who use that same language when taking advantage of a woman, and it doesn’t matter that that’s not my behavior. Or the way I think about things. It just matters how it affects women,”
“And I was like, ‘Got it. I get it.’ Cool. My mind opened up to what was actually being said in the song and how it could make someone feel. Even though it wasn’t the majority, it didn’t matter.”
He continued: “I cared what they were feeling, too. I realized that we live in a chauvinist culture in our country.
“Hadn’t realized that. Didn’t realize that some of my songs catered to that. So that blew my mind.”

‘When They See Us’ Ava Duvernay Sued Over ‘Reid Technique’ … Creator Says Film Trashed His Work
Netflix and “When They See Us” creator Ava Duvernay are being sued over the police interrogation technique depicted in the film because its creator claims the movie got his method all wrong.
A former cop named John Reid claims in his lawsuit … the Emmy-winning film defamed him by saying his method was used to squeeze statements out of the Central Park 5 suspects.
In particular, he points out a scene from episode 4 where a detective and someone from the D.A.’s Office are discussing the interrogation of the suspects. The prosecution staffer says to the detective, “You squeezed statements out of them after 42 hours of questioning and coercing, without food, bathroom breaks, withholding parental supervision. The Reid Technique has been universally rejected. That’s truth to you.”
In the lawsuit, Reid says the technique he created specifically does not teach withholding parental supervision, denying interview subjects any of their rights or making threats of physical harm. He claims it specifically calls for extra caution when interviewing minors.
In the docs, obtained by TMZ, Reid questions Duvernay saying, “We did our research” before making the film by inviting law enforcement personnel to discuss the case. Reid claims if that were true — Ava would have learned his technique disavows the type of things depicted in the movie.
He believes the filmmakers deliberately “fabricated a scene designed to broadcast to the audience a conversation they made up that included false statements as to the Reid Technique.”
He goes on to defend the Reid Technique, saying it’s widely used by law enforcement … and calls for a structured interview and interrogation process that consists of three stages: fact analysis, investigative non-confrontational interview and interrogation.
According to the docs, Reid says his method is anything but “universally rejected.” He says he’s conducted more than 6,500 seminars and trained more than 200,000 people to use it, since 2002.
Reid says he demanded a retraction in July … 2 months after the series was released, but Netflix refused. He’s now suing Netflix and Ava for defamation and wants the series to turn over a chunk of the profits, and other damages.
We’ve reached out to Netflix and Ava … so far, no word back yet.

Rihanna praises Vogue writer who didn’t prepare for interview: ‘That’s gangster’
Though some Rihanna fans are up in arms over a Vogue writer admitting she was unprepared to interview the star, the Fenty founder isn’t bothered by the journalist’s confession.
When asked about the backlash to Abby Aguirre’s admission she hadn’t been prepared, Rihanna came to the journalist’s defense.
Shortly after Rihanna’s Vogue cover story was published last week, some became fixated on the fact that Aguirre admitted she arrived to the interview without any questions prepared and she was “winging it.”
Rihanna praised Aguirre for her ability to think fast.
“No, no, no, no. That’s gangster. For you to get a call the day before being like, ‘Hey, Rihanna’s in LA, you wanna do this?’ And show up on the dime and write an incredible article that I’m really proud of and enjoyed reading?” the 31-year-old fashion designer told WWD. “She’s badass for that.”
She said, “If you don’t have to prepare, girl, you’re gangster.”
Aguirre tweeted in response to the backlash, saying it was a misunderstanding and she was on her way to Trader Joe’s when she got the call to interview Ri Ri.
“I research my subjects to death. *Especially* Rihanna. I appreciate the anger behind the reaction. But this is a misunderstanding, for which I take full responsibility,” she wrote. “I had literally no notice. The point was to convey how nerve-wracking this was, given my deep, bordering-on-psychotic reverence for Rihanna.”
If you had accused me of eating too much Mexican food, I would take that personally. Because it’s true. But you can’t accuse me of not doing research. Ask anyone I have ever worked with. Ever.— Abby Aguirre (@abby_aguirre) October 9, 2019

The photo comes a day after Drake shared a photo from his son’s birthday celebration. He showed off the decorations inside his Toronto mansion.
Drake captioned the post, “Happy Birthday King ?”.
The snap showed gold balloons that spelled out Adonis, along with a Sesame Street-inspired art piece.
The Sesame Street art is identical to the one seen in both Brussaux and Drake’s photos.

Five gang members sentenced for chasing a 15-year-old, killing him with a machete
NEW YORK – The five gang members who slashed a New York teen to death with a machete and knives last year after mistaking him for a rival have been sentenced to decades in prison.
Video surveillance showed the men dragging Lesandro “Junior” Guzman-Feliz out of a Bronx bodega on his back and stabbing him with long knives and a machete. The teen wanted to be a police officer, and was a member of a New York Police Department youth outreach program.
The men — Jonaiki Martinez Estrella, Antonio Rodriguez Hernandez Santiago, Manuel Rivera, Jose Muniz and Elvin Garcia — were found guilty of first-degree murder and other charges in June this year. Their sentences Friday ranged from 23 years to life in prison
“My son was a good kid, he only was 15 years old, he was doing the best in the school at the time when the tragedy happened,” said Leandra Feliz, the victim’s mother.
On the night of the attack, the gang members were in four cars when they saw Guzman-Feliz, according to prosecutors. He had left his home and had just given money to a woman he knew in the neighborhood when they approached him, prosecutors said.
They got out of their cars and confronted the teen, who then fled to a bodega four blocks away. The gang members followed him into the store and dragged him outside, where he was assaulted on the street.
Guzman-Feliz was stabbed and slashed with knives and a machete in the neck and body. After the attack, he ran to a nearby hospital, but collapsed at the entrance and died a short time later.

Woman’s cough sparks violent fight in Texas convenience store
HOUSTON, Tx. (KTRK/CNN) – It’s hard to believe but police say an attack at a convenience store all started over a cough.
Surveillance video caught two people shoving and kicking the woman at the store in Northeast Houston.
A 24-year-old woman named Ashley was sitting down next to a man and woman to hit the slots. She coughed and another woman yelled at her for doing so.
The victim asked the manager if he could ask the couple to leave.
That’s when the woman attacked, grabbed the victim’s hair and yanking her down to the ground.
She continues to punch and kick her, then grabs her purse, cash and cell phone.
All of this took place in front of a child who was being held by an adult at the slot machine.
The suspects got away in a dark-colored SUV and police are asking for assistance in finding them.
