McDonald’s employee fired after telling paramedic they wouldn’t serve ‘his kind’
Madeira Beach (WFTS) — A McDonald’s employee was fired after turning away paramedics Wednesday night.
Anthony Quinn, a paramedic with Sun Star Inc., claimed in a Facebook review of the Madeira Beach McDonald’s that he and his partner were denied service at the restaurant.
In his review, Quinn said that he went in to use the bathroom when the employee told him that the restaurant “doesn’t accept officers in here.” When Quinn told the employee he wasn’t an officer, the employee said he wouldn’t serve “anyone with a badge.”
Later, Quinn says his partner went to order and the employee said he wouldn’t serve “his kind.”
Casper’s the company that runs the McDonald’s location, released the following statement.
“We are aware of the unfortunate incident that took place at one of our restaurants last night. We, like you, were upset and disappointed and took immediate action. The employee has been terminated. What occurred does not reflect the values of our brand, our franchise, or the love and admiration we have demonstrated consistently for our friends in law enforcement and first responders. We have reached out to offer our sincerest apology.”

Dayton gunman had ‘kill list’ for boys, ‘rape list’ for girls, former classmates say
As a high school student, the gunman in the Dayton, Ohio, massacre had a “hit list” of classmates he wanted to kill or hurt, according to four former students who said they were told by school officials they were on the list.
Spencer Brickler said a counselor at Bellbrook High School told him that he and his sister were on Connor Betts’ hit list. Brickler said he was riding on a school bus when he saw Betts getting escorted off by officers who were investigating the threats.
“He was kind of dark and depressive in high school,” said Brickler, who recalled the incident occurring about nine years ago when he was a freshman. He said he had no idea what prompted Betts, then a sophomore, to put him or his sister on the list.
The information has taken on new significance now that Betts has been identified as the gunman who killed nine people early Sunday morning in a popular nightlife district in downtown Dayton, authorities said. Police officers on patrol nearby immediately responded and killed Betts less than a minute after he opened fire, authorities said.
In response to CNN’s inquiries about the hit list, Bellbrook-Sugarcreek Schools Superintendent Douglas A. Cozad said, “At this point, I can confirm that Connor Betts was a student at Bellbrook-Sugarcreek Local Schools his entire school career and graduated from Bellbrook High School in 2013.
“Since he has not been a student here for over six years, we are still gathering additional information and will release it as soon as we can,” Cozad said.
Another former classmate, who asked not to be identified out of concerns for his privacy, also recalled being summoned to a school administrator’s office and being told he was “number one” on the list of students Betts wanted to kill.
He said the list was separated into two columns: a “kill list” for boys and a “rape list” for girls.
A third person, who also asked not to be named for privacy reasons, told CNN that Betts sent messages about the list to one of his classmates, who told her mother. Her mother then notified the police, who came to the school and interviewed people on the list individually in the school’s office.
“Personally, it freaked me out,” said the classmate who was told she was on the list. “I started having panic attacks in the school building.”
A fourth person, who also asked not to be named for privacy reasons, said, “All I know is there was a list of violent actions and a list of names including mine.”
She said some of the names were female students who, like her, turned him down for dates. She said Betts often simulated shooting other students and threatened to kill himself and others on several occasions.
“He loved to look at you and pretend to shoot with guns, guns with his hands,” she said.
Another former classmate, who was not on the list, said that he met Betts through a “friend of a friend.” He said whenever they hung out, Betts would talk about violence and use harsh language about women, like calling them “sluts.”
Betts’ former classmates told CNN that they recalled Betts being removed from the school for at least a year, but that he later returned to Bellbrook High.

Man accused of molesting two boys in stranger’s home claims he ‘blacked out’
NDEPENDENCE, Mo. — Prosecutors have filed charges against a Missouri man for allegedly entering a stranger’s home and molesting two boys under the age of 10, one of whom has autism.
Treyvohn D. Covington, 26, faces two counts of first-degree sodomy, second-degree child molestation and first-degree burglary.
According to court records, officers responded to an apartment in Independence around 5:15 Sunday morning on a burglary. When officers arrived they found Convington in the living room of the apartment naked from the waist down, according to a news release from Independence police. He was taken into custody for burglary and sexual assault.
The woman who reported the incident to police said she had driven from Springfield, Missouri with her grandsons and they were staying at her sister’s apartment. She told police the three grandkids were asleep in the living room and she was asleep in a back bedroom.
One victim, who is diagnosed with autism, came into the bedroom and was “acting excited” but was having trouble communicating. The grandmother said she told him to go back to the living room but stated a few minutes later she heard what she thought was her grandsons playing and went out to tell them to be quiet.
The grandmother told police when she got to the living room she saw Covington on top of her grandson. She said she pushed the suspect off and took the three kids to the bathroom, locked the door and called police.
Covington told police he had been with his friends drinking and blacked out. He said the last thing he remembers is taking a shot of Hennessey in a car on the way home from the club. The next thing he remembered was waking up in jail and did not have any recollection of what happened.
Prosecutors have requested a $75,000 bond for Covington.

Cardi B wants videotape and text messages with Offset sealed in $30 million court battle
Article via RevoltTV
Cardi B has taken a trip back to court in hopes of blocking a videotape and private text messages with Offset from being released.
According to The Blast, Cardi is worried about her videotaped deposition, which is scheduled for this month. During the deposition, Cardi will be confronted by her former manager, Klenord “Shaft” Raphael, in regards to their lawsuit. Cardi is urging the judge to seal the videotape. The Invasion of Privacy spitter fears that the video will become a social media frenzy if released.
“The public release of any video of Ms. Almanzar’s deposition, in particular, poses a significant risk of harm and misuse on social media platforms because it is highly likely that any such video will be reproduced and edited (and possibly manipulated) into out-of-context video clips and GIFs of her testimony,” the site reveals. “Any such video clips are likely to be widely posted on YouTube, Instagram, and Twitter and remain available through trial in this case. Such dissemination would be an egregious and prejudicial invasion of Ms. Almanzar’s privacy and could significantly affect the available jury pool.”
Back in April, Cardi was sued for $10 million by her former manager for a breach in contract. As a response, Cardi countersued Raphael for $15 million in damages. She also accused Raphel of screwing her over in multiple business affairs.
The Bronx spitter stated that Raphael took advantage of her “trust and naiveté and persuaded her to sign contracts and to enter into deals in which Mr. Raphael attempted to take an unreasonable and unconscionable portion of [her] earnings in the entertainment industry for himself.”
Last week, Cardi emphasized the importance of being safe and cautious. The mother-of-one was set to hit the stage at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Downtown Indianapolis. Unfortunately, one hour before the soldout show, the event was canceled due to a security threat.
“Dear Indiana I just want to let you know I was in the venue today,” Cardi wrote in an effort to sympathize with her fans. “I rehearsed and started doing glam.Due to a security threat that is under investigation the show was canceled. My safety and your safety first .I want to thank the promoters we have already rescheduled the show. Im so sorry guys I never dealt with a situation like this before and I’m not taking any chances.I love you guys.”

Valentina Sampaio Is Reportedly Victoria’s Secret’s First Transgender Model
Valentina Sampaio has reportedly been hired to appear in a Victoria’s Secretcampaign, which would make her the first openly transgender model for the lingerie company, which has been trying to rebrand.
The 22-year-old Brazilian recently posted on her Instagram page a photo of her sitting in a bathrobe backstage at what she said was a photo shoot for the company’s PINK line on Long Island, New York.
“Backstage click @vspink #bastidores #new #vspink #campaign #representatividade #diversity #beauty #selfie #model #life #fashion #usa #vstorm #valentinasampaio #bomdia,” she wrote.
She also posted a selfie video, writing, “Never stop dreaming genteee #staytuned #bastidores #new #vspink #campaign #representatividade #diversity #beauty #selfie #life #fashion #usa #vstorm #valentinasampaio,” as well as a pic of her sitting and smiling, writing, “Life is amazing… Love more and hate less, hate is useless, just do not waste time with it!”
Victoria’s Secret and parent company L Brands have not commented on her posts, which come amid the group’s attempt to rebrand amid declining sales and following controversial comments that the group’s chief marketing officer Ed Razek had made last year about the idea of including transgender and plus-size models in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
“First transgender to shoot with Vs! This make me so happy! ❤️” Victoria’s Secret Angel and fellow Brazilian model Lais Ribiero tweeted on Saturday.
“Wow finally!” fellow transgender star, LGBTQ+ activist and Orange Is the New Black alum Laverne Cox commented on Sampaio’s post.
While Sampaio (not to be confused with Victoria’s Secret Angel Sara Sampaio) would make fashion history with her mere involvement with the chain, she will likely not get to walk anytime soon at Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, as it apparently won’t take place this year, according to recent comments made by Victoria’s Secret Angel Shanina Shaik.
“I’m sure they’re trying to work on branding and new ways to do the show because it’s the best show in the world,” she told Australia’s Daily Telegraph.
L Brands has not commented on Shaik’s comments.
In 2017, Sampaio made fashion history by becoming the first transgender model to appear on the cover of a Vogue publication, specifically Vogue Paris.
In November, Razek told the main Vogue magazine, “If you’re asking if we’ve considered putting a transgender model in the show or looked at putting a plus-size model in the show, we have.”
“Do I think about diversity? Yes. Does the brand think about diversity? Yes. Do we offer larger sizes? Yes,” he said. “It’s like, why doesn’t your show do this? Shouldn’t you have transsexuals in the show? No. No, I don’t think we should. Well, why not? Because the show is a fantasy. It’s a 42-minute entertainment special. That’s what it is. It is the only one of its kind in the world, and any other fashion brand in the world would take it in a minute, including the competitors that are carping at us. And they carp at us because we’re the leader.”
Weeks later, Halsey, who performed at the 2018 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, wrote on Twitter that after the event was filmed, “some comments were made regarding the show that I simply cannot ignore.”
“As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I have no tolerance for a lack of inclusivity. Especially not one motivated by stereotype,” she wrote. “If you are a trans person reading this, and these comments made you feel alienated or invalidated please know that you have allies. We stand in solidarity, and complete and total acceptance is the only “fantasy” that I support…”
The reported scrapping of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show this year comes months after the New York Times said that L Brands’ chief executive Leslie Wexner announced in a memo to the chain’s associates that the event would no longer air on network television after a nearly two-decade run. Wexler said that the company had been “taking a fresh look at every aspect of our business” in recent months, and that the brand “must evolve and change to grow.”

A$AP Rocky is Out and About, Crashes Kanye’s Sunday Service and Checks Out His Ex GF Kendell Jenner
A$AP Rocky is showing his gratitude to one Kanye West for trying to get him out of Swedish custody … by showing up on a Sunday and partaking in worship.
The just-released rapper was in attendance Sunday for Ye’s weekly Sunday Service, where he was wearing a jacket in the hot sun — but appeared to be in great spirits. He was filmed talking to his old flame, Kendall Jenner, and they seemed pretty chummy.
Kendall and A$AP have history together, they were dating on and off for a number of years. They haven’t been seen in a romantic capacity since early 2017.
A$AP was also photographed chatting up Kanye himself, who was decked out in his usual Sunday Service gear. Some thank-yous were probably exchanged … and for good reason.
As we reported … Kanye was part of the initial push to get A$AP’s legal predicament on President Trump‘s radar, before he was eventually freed last week pending a verdict. We’re told Ye’s got a direct line to the Oval, and that he suggested Trump talk to the Swedish PM.
A panel of judges decided to release A$AP while a decision is made in his assault case, which wrapped up Thursday after a three-day trial. Rocky touched down in L.A. early Saturday morning, and seemed ecstatic to be finally be home after a month in jail.
A$AP testified that he and his crew were acting in self-defense, and that they tried to diffuse the situation with the alleged victim before things got violent.
The Swedish prosecutor recommended a 6-month jail sentence — a decision is expected to be made on his fate on August 14, when he has to come back to Sweden.
