Drunk Florida man allegedly peed into nightclub ice machine
This guy’s a real pisser.
A boozy Florida man took a whiz into a commercial ice machine at a local nightclub over the weekend, a report said.
Michael Williams, 28, of St. Petersburg was inside the 260 First club at around 2:20 a.m. Saturday when he relieved himself inside the joint’s ice chest, The Smoking Gun reported, citing an arrest affidavit.
An “intoxicated” Williams caused a “disturbance” and then “actively resisted the security officers as they tried to remove him” from the bar, the affidavit said.
Williams was charged with disorderly conduct.
As police patted down Williams, they found a bag of marijuana in his pants pocket and additionally hit him with a misdemeanor possession charge, the outlet reported.
Williams was booked at the county jail and later released after posting his $400 bond, the report said.

Pedophile beaten and drowned in prison cell toilet bowl
A pedophile was allegedly drowned in his Florida prison cell toilet after being beaten by a cellmate, according to a report.
Convicted child molester David Oseas Ramirez, 56, was found dead in his cell in Jacksonville’s Duval County Jail last Tuesday allegedly after being beaten and drowned in the toilet bowl, according to First Coast News.
He was serving life for lewd and lascivious molestation of an 11-year-old girl — with his 2013 jury taking less than 15 minutes to find him guilty, according to Newsweek.
The attack was witnessed by a third inmate and also captured on surveillance camera footage, which has not been released, the station said. A medical examiner will determine the official cause of death.
Cellmate Paul Dixon, 43, was arrested on suspicion of Ramirez’s murder, authorities announced. He was already serving life for a murder committed when he was 17.
“A verbal altercation became physical. The suspect killed the victim in his cell,” the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.
“A third cell-mate was present and witnessed the murder. The suspect declined to speak with detectives and requested an attorney.”
The killing highlighted how there is “no peace in jail” for convicted child molesters, News4Jax crime and safety analyst Ken Jefferson said.
“They have to constantly watch over their back. They have to hope they can befriend someone to look out for them,” he said.
Jacksonville sheriff’s assistant chief Brian Kee told Action News Jax that the department has not had a similar crime “in recent memory.”
“I mean, I’ve been here almost 23 years. I can’t recall one,” Kee said.

Husband lets pals gang-rape wife after losing poker bet
A monstrous Indian man bet his wife in a twisted game of poker — then twice let her be gang-raped after he lost, according to a report.
The unidentified gambling addict bet his wife after running out of money during a drunken card game with a relative named Anil and a friend called Arun at his house in Jaunpur, according to New Delhi Television Limited (NDTV).
He then let both men rape her after losing the game, the station reported.
The wife fled to her uncle’s house, followed by her husband, who begged for her forgiveness, the station said.
She let him drive her back home — only for him to stop the car and allow the two men to gang-rape her again, according to NDTV.
Shockingly, police initially refused to file a case, but she finally made an official crime report after taking her complaint to court, the station says. There was no information on what is happening with the case.
India has been plagued by a series of horrific sex attacks. Just last month, two men reportedly kidnapped a 3-year-old girl from a train station, gang-raped her and cut off her head.

This 9-year-old has built more than 30 mobile games
Seated in a stylish living room of a home in a suburb of Nigeria’s commercial center, Lagos, Basil Okpara Jr. is tapping away on his laptop keyboard.
The 9-year-old is building a hide and seek game, using a free programming application called Scratch 2.
Scratch 2 allows users to create games, animations, and stories online or offline. So far, Basil has used it to generate more than 30 mobile games.
Today’s game involves a bat he has programmed to hide. The player gets a point every time he catches the bat when it emerges from its hiding place.
“I learned how to build games at a boot camp. Now, I build to keep me busy when I am bored,” Basil told CNN.
In March, his father signed him up for a five-day boot camp for children aged 5 to 15.
The camp, organized by Codefest International, was put in place to give children like Basil access to emerging technologies like robotics and virtual reality.
Growing up, Basil used to play a lot of mobile games says his father, Basil Okpara Sr.
“I bought him a tablet when he was 4 years old because I saw that he was always grabbing phones to play games with. He played Candy Crush and Temple Run a lot,” the father told CNN.
But Basil’s interest in creating his games grew at age 7 after he got scolded for spending all of his time playing.
“There was this day he was on the tablet, as usual, he was so carried away with the game he was playing that I got upset with him,” his father said.
“Out of annoyance, I said to him, ‘you are always playing games, can’t you think about building your own games so others can play yours too?’. I was angry when I said it, and I did not know he took it seriously,” he added.
Since then, Basil actively showed interest in learning how to make his own games, prompting his parents to buy him a laptop and register him to learn the first steps of building games.
Basil, who wants to be a scientist in the future, titles his games based on what they are about.
The games are still in their raw form and can currently only be accessed on computers that have Scratch 2 installed.
But according to his father one of them, titled Frog attack, will be available to the public on Google play store in August.
Africa has the largest youth population in the world, and like Basil, this population is taking the lead when it comes to innovation on the continent.
Two Nigerian 12-year-olds were recently celebrated for using codes to build robots to sort out their house chores.
In May, team Acrobot, a Ghanaian all-girls high school team won the 2019 Robofestcompetition by programming robots to stack boxes.
And with Africa experiencing increased investment from tech giants like Google and Microsoft, Basil and his peers are on their way to becoming future coding stars.

Brazilian inmate who dressed as his daughter in failed escape found dead in cell
A Brazilian inmate, who went viral around the world for his attempt to escape prison disguised as his daughter, was found dead in his cell on Tuesday.
Prison officials told CNN that Clauvino da Silva, 42, appeared to have taken his own life. He was serving a 73 year sentence for drug dealing.
On Saturday, da Silva disguised himself as his 19-year-old daughter hoping to escape from the high security prison where he was detained. The prison guards recorded the convicted drug dealer taking off his clothes, when they noticed it was not the man’s daughter.
The video was then released by Brazil’s prison authorities, where it was promptly picked up by the international media.
Images of da Silva’s escape ruse, a silicone mask with long black hair and a teenage themed t-shirt, made headlines throughout Brazil.
Silva’s death comes on the heels of a massive gang battle in a prison in northern Brazil that killed 57 people on July 30. Sixteen prisoners were decapitated.
The riot was the latest violence to have taken place in Brazil’s often overcrowded and underfunded prison system. 55 inmates were also killed in gang-related riots at four prisons in western Brazil in May of 2017.

Man accused of fracturing 13-year-old’s skull for not removing hat during national anthem
SUPERIOR, Mont. – A Montana man is accused of assaulting a teenage boy during the national anthem at the Mineral County Fairgrounds this weekend, according to KPAX.
Witnesses told deputies the suspect grabbed, picked up and slammed the boy on the ground — apparently because he did not remove his hat during the national anthem.
Within minutes after dropping her son off at the fairgrounds, Megan Keeler says she received a phone call stating her son was on his way to the hospital.
“Dude come up and grabbed him by his neck, picked him up and threw him to the ground head first,” Keeler told KPAX.
The suspect, Curt Brockway, is accused of assaulting the 13-year-old.
Witnesses say Brockway tried to justify his actions because the boy was disrespecting the flag by not removing his hat during the national anthem.
“He’s deathly afraid of strangers. He doesn’t remember anything. All the witnesses I have talked to said this was completely random,” Keeler said.
“There was no exchange – nothing! He targeted Wally and took him down,” she added.
The boy was flown to Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital in Spokane after receiving temporal skull fractures.
Keeler says the child was bleeding from his ear for nearly six hours after the incident.
He’s since been released from the hospital and is back home where he will continue healing.
Brockway arrested and made his initial court appearance on Monday in Mineral County.
“I want to know Curt is put away and I would like compensation for the damages and bills,” Keeler said. “But most of all, my son to heals.”
The state requested that Brockway’s bond be set to $100,000, but a judge ruled that Brockway can be released on his own recognizance.
This is not Brockway’s first run in with police. KPAX obtained court documents from a 2010 incident where he plead guilty to an assault with a weapon charge.
In that 2010 incident, Brockway pulled up to a parked vehicle, got out and pulled a gun on a family and stated he was going to kill them.
Brockway’s friend persuaded him to put away his weapon and leave.
He was sentenced to 10 years with the Montana Department of Corrections, all of which were suspended.

Padgett is now facing a charge of false report of using a firearm in a violent manner.

British man has been awarded more than $24,000 after going into a hospital for a bladder procedure — and coming out circumcised.
“It was a real surprise,” 70-year-old Terry Brazier told the Daily Star of the accidental snip at Leicester Royal Infirmary.
Brazier was supposed to get a cystoscopy, where Botox is injected into the bladder wall to help control incontinence, and was too busy chatting with staff to realize he was instead receiving the personal procedure, he told the UK paper.
“They didn’t know what to say when they found out they’d done it. They said they can’t send me back to the ward and they needed to talk to me,” he said. “I went in the surgery for some Botox and they ended up circumcising me.”
He was awarded more than $24,000 in compensation for the surgical screw-up that’s being blamed on staff mixing up their notes, according to the Guardian.
“We remain deeply and genuinely sorry that this mistake occurred, and I would like to take this opportunity to once again apologize to Mr. Brazier,” Andrew Furlong, medical director of the trust that runs the hospital in Leicester, told the paper.
“We take events like this very seriously and carried out a thorough investigation at the time to ensure that we learned from this incident and do all we can to avoid it happening again.
“Whilst money can never undo what happened, we hope this payment provides some compensation.”
