Drake’s Show Euphoria Has Too Many ‘Dicks’
Article via HotNewHipHop
After the success of Game Of Thrones, HBO is looking for their next big goldmine. The network has an amazing track record for creating some of the most buzzworthy television shows and their next series has all the makings of something that will stick with audiences. The creator of Euphoria recently told The Hollywood Reporter that it might be the most graphic depiction of teen life to ever air on the small screen and if this is anything to work off of, we can most certainly confirm.
The new series, which stars Zendaya and was produced by Drake, is set to premiere on June 16 and we’ll be able to witness just how bold the production truly is then. However, we’ve got a pretty good idea of what’s to come after a report was published that one episode contains nearly thirty penises in it. The pilot episode alone is set to shock audiences with scenes of statutory rape, a drug overdose by Zendaya’s character and a sex scene involving choking.
The show is reportedly so graphic that they had to cut down the nudity in the second episode, which featured a locker room full of high school boys changing. Apparently, the original shot contained upwards of eighty men wearing nothing at all but the network voiced concerns over it, accepting a slimmed down version of the extreme content.

Man who participated in caging, abusing autistic relative gets 10 years
NEW ORLEANS — A Louisiana man was sentenced to 10 years in prison for his role in the physical and psychological abuse of a young autistic woman who told him in federal court Thursday, “You made my life a living hell.”
Jody Lambert’s sentencing was the latest in court cases involving the woman who was kept in a cage, beaten, shot with a BB gun and forced to eat the cremation ashes of her dead mother before the abuse was discovered. Those cases have been playing out in state court in Tangipahoa Parish, where the abuse occurred, and in federal court in New Orleans.
Lambert tearfully apologized. “There is no excuse for what I did,” he said, his voice breaking often.
“She didn’t deserve that … I just went along with it because it was easier,” he said.
Later, when the judge gave the victim an opportunity to make a statement, she said: “Jody, you made my life a living hell.”
She added, “You should have stopped them. If you had stopped them you wouldn’t be in this predicament.”
Lambert is the son of Raylaine Knope and the stepson of Terry Knope II, both of whom have pleaded guilty in state and federal court and face decades in prison for abusing the victim, who is identified in court documents only by her initials.
He pleaded guilty in October to a federal civil rights charge. His federal sentence is 10 years, with credit for time served since his 2016 arrest on state charges.
In court documents, prosecutors noted he had cooperated in the case and indicated they would accept a “downward departure” in federal sentencing guidelines. Still, in court, prosecutors called for the maximum 10-year sentence, while asking U.S. District Judge Carl Barbier to make sure Lambert receives credit for time served since he was arrested on the state charges. He will serve the remaining seven years in federal prison after being sentenced on similar charges in state court.
Lambert told Barbier he had been raised in a “dysfunctional” home. Barbier agreed and noted what appeared to be sincere remorse.
“However, as you yourself said, it doesn’t in any way excuse what you did,’ said Barbier.
Court documents said Lambert at various times verbally abused the victim, shoved her on the ground once and locked her in the cage where she lived, with a bucket for a toilet, for several months. Lambert also knew of other abuse, including Terry Knope’s shooting of the victim at close range with a BB gun. The documents say the victim and her mother were relatives of Raylaine Knope and that both had lived with the Knopes until the mother’s death in August 2015.
The victim was 22 when her abusers were arrested, court documents said.
Barbier will formally sentence Raylaine and Terry Knope in August. They face 28 years in the federal case and already have been sentenced to 29 and 33 years respectively in the state case, according to the District Attorney’s Office in Tangipahoa Parish.
Among the charges to which Terry Knope II pleaded guilty was a hate crime. Court documents say he shot the victim with a BB gun because of her “actual and perceived disability.” Documents also say he was taking the victim’s regular Social Security disability checks.

Uncle charged after 5-year-old shoots toddler in the head
GRAY, Ga. — Authorities say a 5-year-old shot a 2-year-old sibling at a Georgia home while playing with a gun and now the children’s uncle has been charged.
News outlets report the children found the gun in the home Wednesday and were playing with it when it discharged. The Jones County Sheriff’s Office says the 2-year-old was shot in the head and is in critical condition.
Authorities charged 18-year-old Darius Johnson with reckless conduct and theft.
Jones County Sheriff’s Captain Jimmy Black says the gun was stolen during a burglary about two weeks ago.
Johnson lived at the same home as the children when the shooting occurred. Sheriff Butch Reece says the gun was left where the children could get it.
It wasn’t immediately known if Johnson has a lawyer who could comment.

Minnesota boy, 4, takes great-grandfather’s car for joyride for candy
This tot’s joyride was short but sweet.
A 4-year-old Minnesota boy swiped his great-grandpa’s SUV and drove to a store to satisfy his candy craving, according to a report.
Sebastian Swenson grabbed his elderly relative’s keys and drove a mile and a half to a convenience store during morning rush hour Wednesday in Blaine, according to FOX9.
The sweet-toothed tot — who climbed up onto his great-grandpa’s walker to snatch the keys off a wall hook — swerved along the four-lane road at 15 mph until a police officer spotted him, the local station reported. He was pulled over at a nearby gas station.
“He watches everything people do and he’ll repeat it,” his great-grandpa, Roy Becker, told FOX9.
The small-time car crook hit a few mailboxes and a tree along the way — but nobody was injured.
“It could’ve been very serious,” Capt. Mark Boerboom with the Blaine Police Department told the station. “He could’ve hit a car. He wasn’t wearing a seatbelt. We could be talking about a funeral.”

9-year-old girl set herself on fire while playing with lighter
A 9-year-old Florida girl accidentally set herself on fire while playing with a lighter and a bottle of rubbing alcohol, authorities said.
The Fort Lauderdale girl had second-degree burns on her arms and legs, and covering roughly 30 percent of her body after flames engulfed her Thursday evening around 7 p.m, Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue Battalion Chief Stephen Gollan told The Post.
“It’s believed at some point she must’ve ignited the bottle of alcohol, dropping it to the floor, which then caused the flames to come up her lower extremities,” Gollan said Friday.
The girl’s foster mom, who was outside playing with other kids, heard her daughter’s terrified screams and rushed inside, Gollan said.
The girl was rushed to a hospital in Fort Lauderdale before being transferred to a burn center in Miami due to the severity of her injuries. Her condition has since stabilized, Gollan said.
The girl’s mother will not be charged in connection to the incident, which has been ruled accidental.
Gollan, meanwhile, urged parents to keep lighters and all flammable materials away from children, especially during summer months when “kids are out of school and they’re bored.”

11-year-old boy home alone fends off intruders with a machete
MEBANE, N.C. — Authorities say an 11-year-old armed with a machete thwarted a three-person home invasion in North Carolina.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release Friday that the boy was home alone in Mebane when a woman knocked on the door. About the same time, a man entered the home by breaking a window, grabbed the homeowner’s pellet gun and forced the child into a bedroom closet.
The child got a machete and struck the intruder in the back of the head. The man kicked the boy in the stomach and in the side of the head.
The intruder, the woman and a second man standing at a car fled when the intruder realized he was bleeding.
Authorities say 19-year-old Jataveon Dashawn Hall faces charges that include kidnapping when he’s released from a hospital.

A nearby teacher intervened and walked the teen suspect outside, where cops arrested him.
