Empire Producers Considering Suspending Jussie Smollet From Empire
Looks like things are going from bad to worse from Jussie Smollet. As expected since he is now a suspect in his false claims of being racially attacked, producers are now considering suspending him from the hit tv show Empire.
Fox had previously stood by Smollet after he allegedly claimed he was attacked on January 29th. While they are considering suspending him, Smollet will likely not be written off the show entirely seeing as how he’s a major character on the show.
It’s honestly a shame that all of this mess is unfolding during Black History Month of all times. Smollet is looking at a felony charge and it will only get interesting from here.

Couple charged after boy tortured with hot pepper on genitals
A South Carolina mom and her boyfriend face charges after her kids were allegedly tortured with hot sauce and spices, according to officials.
Sabrina Irene Emerick, 25, and her boyfriend Robert Earl Kailiala Saladaga, 37, were both charged with cruelty to children, the Greenville Police Department said Wednesday.
Saladaga — who lives with Emerick — was also charged with assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature.
The two children, ages 5 and 7, were interviewed by child services and detailed abuse at the hands of Saladaga, according to the Greenville News.
Police said Emerick was aware of the “horrific” abuse and allowed her children to continue to be at risk.
The children claimed Saladaga went to lengths to punish them. He allegedly forced the 5-year-old boy to take extremely cold and hot showers — and suffocated him with pillows on multiple occasions.
Saladaga is also accused of rubbing a hot pepper on one of the children’s genitals as punishment for wetting the couch in their sleep.
The 7-year-old claimed Saladaga put a pepper in his eyes and mouth to torture him. In another incident, Saladaga allegedly put hot sauce all over the 5-year-old kid’s face, eyes and mouth. Both instances allegedly forced the kids to vomit.
“Heinous crimes against children are some of the most difficult cases we investigate,” Greenville Police Lt. Jason Rampey said in a news release. “The horrific stories of abuse endured by these children are sickening and reprehensible. As such, the children have been removed from this abusive environment.”
The children were removed from the home and are living with a family member, the Greenville News reported.
Saladaga and Emerick were released Feb. 15 from jail on bond.

Roseanne Barr calls Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez a ‘bug-eyed bitch’
Roseanne Barr is apparently not a fan of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez — calling her a “Farrakhan-loving…bug-eyed bitch” who is costing “hundreds of people decent-paying jobs” with her so-called Green New Deal.
“She got paid to do that — paid to decimate communities,” blasted the former sitcom star in a rambling YouTube video. “Because they breathe carbon in their air or some horse s–t.”
Barr, 66, fired off multiple obscenities during her 2-minute critique of Ocasio-Cortez — aiming most of the barrage at the Democratic congresswoman’s Green New Deal to combat climate change, as well as her support for socialism.
“It’s a f–king Ponzi scheme and a con game,” Barr said, calling Ocasio-Cortez a “bug-eyed bitch who looks like a realtor.”
“Lefty dumb-asses,” the TV star added, seemingly referencing AOC’s large following. “Dumb as they get.”
Woman assaults cops, EMT after losing money to pinball machine in bowling alley
A dangerously drunk Monroe woman assaulted police officers and an EMT after she lost money to a pinball machine at a Pennsylvania bowling alley.
Kilee Nicole Cunningham, 36, was asked to leave Blue Mountain Lanes on Moorestown Road Sunday night after she punched the glass of a pinball machine despite being reimbursed for the money.
Cunningham instead asked for more alcohol and chucked a cup of water in the face of an employee when he refused, Lehigh Valley Live reported.
When officers arrived at the scene to speak with her, she was uncooperative and they attempted to take her into custody for public drunkenness.
While restrained in handcuffs in a police vehicle, Cunningham unbuckled her seatbelt and continued to resist officers. She kicked an officer in the chest and headbutted him for trying to return her to the vehicle.
At the Slate Belt Regional police headquarters, she kicked an officer who tried to place her in a holding cell.
Officers requested emergency personnel to take her to a hospital for her severe intoxication.
Cunningham resisted EMTs trying to get her into an ambulance and had to have a spit hood put on her. While inside the ambulance she bit an EMT on the forearm so hard that it left marks.
She was charged with three counts of aggravated assault, three counts of simple assault, one count of resisting arrest and three related offenses, according to Lehigh Valley Live.
Cunningham was arraigned and is being held in Northampton County Prison in lieu of a $30,000 bail.

Sleeping man wakes up to wife cheating and stabs lover
Charges were filed against an Indiana husband who says he stabbed another man after he woke up to him having sex with his wife.
Michael Neil, 29, was arrested early Monday at his Elwood apartment, where he allegedly busted his cheating spouse, news station WXIN reported.
Neil told police he woke up in the apartment and discovered his wife engaged in sex with a male lover.
He then allegedly grabbed a knife from the bedroom and stabbed the man multiple times.
Officers arrived at the scene around 12:30 a.m. to find the victim outside suffering from multiple stab wounds.
Police arrested a bloody Neil on a felony charge of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, WXIN reported.
He is being held without bond at Madison County Detention Center.
The stabbing is still under investigation, officials said.

Couple arrested after 2-year-old daughter found dead in bucket of acid
LAREDO, TEXAS (AP) — A South Texas couple has been arrested after the remains of their 2-year-old daughter were found in a bucket apparently containing acid.
Gerardo Zavala-Loredo and Monica Yvonne Dominguez are both charged with abusing a human corpse and evidence tampering. Dominguez is also charged with two counts of child endangerment.
Webb County District Attorney Isidro Alaniz says Dominguez told police two of her children were bathing unsupervised in their Laredo apartment about 1:30 p.m. Thursday when Rebecka Zavala drowned. Dominguez said she asked her husband to help dispose of her body.
Alaniz says a neighbor called police, who found the remains in what appeared to be a five-gallon bucket of acid in a bedroom closet.
“As you can imagine, it’s very difficult for all of us in law enforcement and for the first responders to be in a situation to come across a scene like we did yesterday,” said Alaniz during a press conference Friday.
Zavala is currently being held in the Webb County Jail under a $125,000 bond while Dominguez is jailed under a $175,000 bond.
The couple’s four other children have been placed in the custody of Child Protective Services.

Man slapped kid accused of bullying his 12-year-old stepdaughter
(Meredith) – A Texas man was arrested for slapping a 12-year-old boy accused of bullying his stepdaughter, police said.
James Olander Peace, 37, is charged with one count of felony injury to a child, KTRK reported.
Peace’s wife, who did not want to be named, told the station their 12-year-old daughter was walking home from school in Deer Park, Texas on Feb. 14 when two boys began teasing her. She said they called the girl “a transvestite” and “threw ice cream at her.”
The girl then called her parents to get a ride home, so she could escape the alleged bullies. Deer Park Police Lt. Chris Brown said when Peace picked up his stepdaughter, he confronted one of the boys.
“On the drive home, they happened to see the juvenile suspect walking and that’s when the stepdad decided to stop and confront the kid,” Brown said in an interview with KTRK.
The Deer Park Police Department reportedly obtained nearby surveillance video that showed Peace shouting at the boy before hitting him.
“He was slapped across the face with an open hand, had red marks and swelling to his cheek and upper jaw,” said Brown.
The following day, the boy told a teacher that he was afraid to go to lunch because he didn’t want to see Peace’s stepdaughter, according to KHOU. That’s how school counselors reportedly found out about the case.
Peace was later released on $15,000 bond, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported, citing jail records.
