Boosie Badazz To 6ix9ine: “U Will Be Murdered Less Than A Month After Your Release”
Article via HotNewHipHop
Boosie wanted to see 6ix9ine free at first but he’s changed his mind.
The drama involving Tekashi 6ix9ine‘s legal situation continues to get even crazier. While he may not be making headlines on a daily basis anymore, when he does, the news is usually pretty scandalous. The former “King of New York” is spending time behind bars as he awaits his trial in 2020 and he’s apparently been squealing like a rat to anybody that cares to listen. When it comes to the shooting he allegedly ordered on Chief Keef, Tekashi says that he paid his associate Kooda B $20K to go through with it. Thankfully, nobody was harmed. Even 69’s girlfriend Jade is joking about him snitching, trolling him yesterday with a Valentine’s Day post that he would surely appreciate. Now, Boosie Badazz is chiming in and his comments are pretty potent.
“WHEN YOU FIRST WENT TO JAIL I WAS LIKE FREE DUDE CAUSE I DONT LIKE TO SEE NO ONE N DAT CAGE LIKE DAT,” started the rapper. “BUT ONE THING I DONT CONDONE OR SUPPORT IS RATS.” Boosie says that now, 6ix9ine will need to admit that he’s a “hoe ass n***a” because all of his credibility is lost. “AND I DO UNDERSTAND YO SITUATION N***A. I WAS FACING A NEEDLE. (Lethal injection) N AINT BEND BREAK R FOLD,” said Boosie. “U WILL BE MURDERED LESS THAN A MONTH AFTER YOUR RELEASE FRFR YOUR KIDS WILL BULLIED N SCHOOL FOR THE DECISION YOU MADE ,YOU PUT ALL YOUR FAMILY N GRAVE DANGER FOR LIFE CAUSE OF THIS BS, DID U THINK BOUT THEY SAFETY?”
Boosie brings up some very valid points. In an attempt to shorten his own sentence, 6ix9ine did seriously endanger the lives of his loved ones. However, you’ve got to consider both sides of the story here. Tekashi is facing life in prison. You’ve got to think he would do anything he can to get out as soon as possible.

Family says choking game led to 13-year-old daughter’s death
VANCOUVER, Wash. — A Vancouver family says a dangerous internet challenge called the choking game led to their teenage daughter’s death.
Many people gathered at a vigil Wednesday night, sharing their stories and leaving behind messages of love for Gabby Perez, the young girl who died.
Now, the family is committed to raising awareness around this dangerous trend.
“Things like this can take lives and it does,” said Lonny Nelsen, Gabby’s uncle.
13-year-old Gabby Perez was a vibrant young girl.
“She was a spitfire,” Nelsen said. “13 going on 30.”
Nelsen says last week, Gabby’s mother found her daughter dead, after she believes Gabby was playing the choking game.
It’s a dangerous challenge in which a person intentionally strangulates another person or themselves to achieve a brief high feeling. Often, it’s posted online.
“All indications are that it is a result of this game,” said Nelsen. “It’s just a ridiculous childhood thing that went horribly wrong.”
Police say they’re still investigating her death and say there is no foul play suspected.
Meanwhile, Gabby’s family just wants to let other people know that this game is out there, it can be deadly, and it can happen to anyone.
“It’s hard. It’s hard to try and keep our kids safe and at the same time give them the freedom to be who they need to be. Just be aware and be careful,” said Nelsen.
“There is a lot of peer pressure out there and when other teens are seeing this being done on social media and they’re seeing influencers engaging in these types of behaviors, it’s, you know, it’s fun to try out,” said Margaret Ngai, a psychiatric nurse practitioner student.
Much of Ngai’s research is focused on adolescents. She says social media can be a different world for teens.
“I think just continuing to have these conversations at home and to continue to talk to our children and our teens about how there are lots of benefits to social media but there are also serious drawbacks,” said Ngai.
Gabby was a spunky 13-year-old so many people knew and loved, and it showed at the vigil in her honor.
“I think we all know how well Gabby was herself,” said a friend who attended the vigil.
The always-smiling, happy middle schooler will be a light in their lives forever.
Gabby’s father was too upset to be interviewed on camera, but he tells FOX 12 they hope by sharing his daughter’s story, it will prevent another tragic death from happening because of the choking game.

‘Bomb threat’ at Home Depot was just a warning from man needing to poop – “You all need to get out of here because I’m fixin’ to blow it up”
(Meredith) — A Kansas man said he had no intentions of setting off an actual bomb when he told other customers that he was going to “blow up” the bathroom at a Home Depot.
Turns out, he was just talking about a bowel movement.
Officers were called to the home improvement store in Wichita around 12:15 p.m. Monday after an employee reported a bomb threat, according to the Wichita Eagle.
The employee told police he was standing at a urinal when a customer came out of a bathroom stall and said: “Somebody told me there’s a bomb in the building. You need to leave the building.”
The customer said he overheard another man say, “You all need to get out of here because I’m fixin’ to blow it up,” the newspaper reported.
Police later identified the man who gave the warning. He reportedly told an officer he “had no intention of causing such alarm.” The man said another person understood the joke and laughed because they knew it was just “a polite warning to the other patrons of the bathroom.”
Home Depot does not want to press any charges.
The Wichita Police Department later shared a link to an article about the incident on its Facebook page, with the caption: “Can anyone relate!! LOL!”
Caught on camera: Deputies put mud on surveillance camera to block view
IMPERIAL, Mo. (KMOV.com) – The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department launched an internal affairs investigation after an Imperial resident filed a complaint about the actions of three deputies, which were recorded on a home security system.
Ashley Mathis first noticed something unusual Sunday night.
“I was getting ready for bed, we’d been gone all day. And I looked over at the monitor, because it sits on the desk in our bedroom and noticed that camera 1 is black,” said Mathis.
Mathis and her fiancé, Gary Schuetz, backed up the video for camera 1 and saw three deputies walked into their yard earlier in the day while the couple was gone. Then the video shows one of the deputies reaching up and putting something on the lens, blocking its view. The security camera turned out to have mud on the lens.
“I want to know what they were here for,” said Schuetz.
Mathis said the actions of the officers were suspicious and very concerning, so she filed a formal complaint with the sheriff’s department.
“Why would the Jefferson County police officers have the need to come and cover my cameras, what was their intentions?” she said.
The sheriff’s department released a statement that said, in part:
“We began an internal affairs investigation immediately because an incident like this is something we take very seriously. This is not a standard practice and it appears to be an isolated incident.”
After interviewing all three deputies, the sheriff’s department said the officers had gone to the house because they had an arrest warrant out of St. Louis County for an individual who was believed to be living in the home. No one was there at the time but sheriff’s officials say one of the deputies decided to cover the lens of the security camera, hoping the individual wouldn’t see them approach if they returned.
The officer didn’t return to the home and Mathis said they had the wrong address because she’s lived there since 2008.
“This is uncalled for,” said Schuetz.
The sheriff’s department characterized the officers’ decision to put mud on the surveillance camera as a lapse in judgment. But a spokesperson for the department said the officers would learn from the experience and that this mistake wouldn’t happen again.

Church group files complaint against Carnival Cruise Line for playing R. Kelly’s music
Article via YahooNews
Members of a Scotland-based church group clashed with a Carnival cruise ship DJ, who they claim ruined their trip when he refused to stop playing music by R. Kelly. Unsatisfied with the company’s response to the incident, the group has now filed an official complaint.
The Rev. Teri Peterson of The Church of Scotland told the Scotsman that she and several other clergywomen were aboard the Carnival Magic liner cruising through Miami when they heard Kelly’s music coming from the ship’s nightclub. Outraged, she and her friends approached the DJ and asked him to turn it off “because of everything surrounding the singer.”
Kelly has been the subject of sexual abuse allegations for many years. Surviving R. Kelly, a documentary released in January, shined a renewed spotlight on the performer’s alleged transgressions, prompting new calls for boycotts and criminal investigations.
When asked by the church group members to stop playing Kelly’s songs, the DJ “refused and then began singing and dancing along and mocking us,” Peterson said. Then when the women ran into the DJ in a different part of the cruise ship, she said, he made fun of them again.
The reverend was on the ship with more than 60 fellow members of RevGalBlogPals, an international online community for female clergy, ministers, and community leaders, for which Peterson is an office bearer. Peterson said that once she returned home, she spent five days emailing the company and even communicated her gripes in meetings with the cruise ship’s management.
In a statement shared with Yahoo Lifestyle, the church group said of the trip:
“We showed up for camaraderie, for rigorous study … and — as individuals who accompany countless others through celebrations and trauma alike while navigating the complexities that arise in our own lives — we showed up for respite. Unfortunately, for 9 of us who identify as Black women, our time aboard the Carnival Magic was colored by our experiences of taunting and discrimination at the hand of the ship’s employees.”
Then they described approaching the DJ, Bl4ck Zoe. “When we all gathered around the DJ Bl4ck Zoe’s booth to request that he change the music, he laughed at us all, shrugged his shoulders, began singing and dancing, and refused to honor our request.”
The cruise ship staff offered her a $100 onboard credit, she said, but no apology. Management also sent a letter to the church leaders, which they shared with Yahoo Lifestyle. It read:
“We had a small group of guests who took issue with two songs that our DJ was playing in a nightclub well after midnight. While we only play radio versions of popular music that have been sanitized so that offensive language has been removed, we do not make a habit of banning music as we have a broad cross section of guests. Our shipboard team listened to the concerns of these guests and provided a goodwill gesture. We are proud of the many ways we’ve been recognized for our commitment to diversity and inclusion and every day we work to make sure our guests and crew feel welcome and part of the Carnival family. We’re sorry this group feels otherwise.”
A spokesperson for Carnival added, “Our employees come from more than 150 countries around the world, so diversity is a hallmark across all our cruise brands.”
For Peterson and her fellow clergywomen, this is not enough.
“The response from Carnival makes me really angry,” she told the Scotsman.
A spokesperson for Carnival explained the company’s stance in a statement to the newspaper.
“We had a small group of guests who took issue with two songs that our DJ was playing in a nightclub well after midnight,” the spokesperson said. “While we only play radio versions of popular music that have been sanitized so that offensive language has been removed, we do not make a habit of banning music as we have a broad cross-section of guests. Our shipboard team listened to the concerns of these guests and provided a goodwill gesture. We are proud of the many ways we’ve been recognized for our commitment to diversity and inclusion, and every day we work to make sure our guests and crew feel welcome and part of the Carnival family. We’re sorry this group feels otherwise.”
But Peterson is still holding out for a resolution. “They had so many chances to do better and do the right thing, but they made it worse,” she said. “We want Carnival to first of all apologize for a significant customer service failure and to make sure that there are better choices in their music and entertainment lineup. Also to update their training so that this doesn’t happen to anyone else.”
She also said in the group’s statement that the clergywomen requested that Bl4ck Zoe be “removed from his duties.”
Yahoo Lifestyle has reached out to Carnival Cruise Line for comment.

Nickelodeon Is Reviving ‘All That’ With Kenan Thompson as Executive Producer
Article via Variety
“All That” was the show that kept on giving to Nickelodeon over the course of a decade in the 1990s and 2000s. Now the company’s president thinks a revival of the sketch-comedy series could be all that — and more.
Nickelodeon will revive the program — a “Saturday Night Live” for the tween set — with an all-new cast. But the show will have callbacks to its past as well. Kenan Thompson, the long-running “SNL” cast member who got his start on television when “All That” launched in 1994, will serve as an executive producer. Nickelodeon expects some former cast members to make appearances in the series.
The sketch comedy show “stayed in the zeitgeist for many years,” Brian Robbins, president of Nickelodeon, tells Variety. “People are really fond of it.” One regular sketch, “Good Burger,” was set in a fast-food restaurant with a clueless cashier, and served up the premise for an original movie in 1997. Kids also loved recurring characters like “Walter the Earboy,” “The Spice Boys,” and “Baggin’ Saggin’ Barry.”
Thompson is one of the people who remembers the series fondly. “It means everything to me,” he told Variety. “It was my first job that I ever had. It gave me an opportunity.”
Robbins was a co-creator and an executive producer of the original run of the series, which during its time featured Thompson, Kel Mitchell, Amanda Bynes, Nick Cannon and Jamie Spears, among others. Many of the cast members went on to star in other landmark Nickelodeon series, such as “The Amanda Show,” “Kenan and Kel” and “Drake and Josh.” Thompson said many of the show’s stars remain close more than a decade after “All That” went off the air.
An “All That” revival would continue Nickelodeon’s recent efforts to dig into its past to help secure its future. In recent years, Nickelodeon executives have tested new editions of one-time stalwarts like “Hey Arnold” and “Legends of the Hidden Temple,” sometimes as movie specials. Such programs can spur viewing by both parents and children, as one generation tries to interest another in favorite pieces of popular culture.
“We think there’s a great opportunity to find the next pool of stars,” said Robbins. “We want to bring the show back in a real fun way. This summer, we are going to bring back a lot of the original cast and the cast through the years, and let them introduce the new cast of ‘All That’ to the world.” He suggested the program would be “a sort of mash-up of some of the old sketches and a lot of new sketches.”

Article via HotNewHipHop
C Tha God calls on his fans for their honest opinions.
We are currently in a climate where people are feeling more comfortable with expressing how they have undergone certain procedures to enhance their receding hairlines. Kudos to such acts like Tory Lanez and Tyga who have been so open about their cosmetic touchups. “At the end of the day … I don’t know about Soulja or Tyga …. but my HAIRLINE most def made the BIGGEST come back of 2018 . And that’s factual,” Tory previously tweeted.
For acts such as Jamie Foxx – who has yet to publically announce his truth – just know there are people who get it.
The latest to speak publically about their hairline is none other than Charlamagne Tha God, who has taken to Instagram to ask his follower’s opinion on just which route he should take. “Some of y’all thinking about getting a new car for the summer I’m thinking about getting a new hairline. If I get my edges restored what hairstyle should I get?? Reply with a number. 1-6. Let’s discuss,” he captioned his post.
The series of images show familiar hairstyles from The Weeknd, OBJ, Usher and more. We think it’s safe to say C Tha God may be joking, but hey, live your best hair life.
