FL Man Pretends To Be His Own Wife For Nearly A Year After Killing Her
Jamie Ivancic was unusually silent for about a year. The young mother from Florida was last seen when she attended a Facetime call with her sister Karma Stewart, telling her that she was going to leave her husband and take their two kids with her. Jamie never told her where she was going to go, but that was the last time her sister spoke to her. That was on January 25, 2018. No one heard a peep from Jamie after that.
But her husband Shelby Svensen told friends and family that the young mother of two was usually busy. Jamie’s sister used to get an occasional text from her sister, but that was it. No one actually received a call from Jamie, nor did they get a video call. But pictures of her children came frequently, which made people believe that she was okay, albeit a little too busy to spare a moment for a chat.
A month ago, Jamie’s parents and brother also mysteriously went silent, which prompted a relative to launch an investigation. On New Year’s Day, the Tarpon Springs police were requested to make a wellness check on the silent family. What officers found was the decomposing bodies of Richard Ivancic, 71, Laura Ivancic, 59, and Nicholas Ivancic, 25, as well as the bodies of three dogs in their home, in a quiet retirement community not far from Tampa.
That’s when police zeroed-down on Shelby Svenson as the prime suspect. They managed to nab the perpetrator when they spotted him in his mother-in-law’s stolen SUV. Shelby’s two young children, aged 2 and 3, were with him. Currently, the children are in the care of child welfare authorities
When he was apprehended, Shelby confessed to killing his in-laws. The confession prompted Florida police to look into his wife Jamie’s strange case as she was reported missing under mysterious conditions. When they investigated her missing person case, the police were able to recover her body from the backyard of a home the couple shared, roughly 10 miles from her parents’ home. Pasco County Sheriff’s Col. Jeff Harrington spoke to the press about the ongoing investigation. He revealed that Jamie had died of ‘violent blunt force trauma’.
The officer also revealed that no one recalls having a conversation with Jamie since January, last year. Her sister said that she intended to leave her husband and take the kids with her, and that was the last time anyone had seen or heard from her. People would often receive picture updates of the kids from Jamie’s phone, leading them to believe that she was still alive and kicking. However, she could never be reached over video call or the phone because Shelby would tell people that his wife was busy and couldn’t answer the phone, or that she was out and couldn’t be reached.
“I feel betrayed and that I was played,” Jamie’s sister Karma Stewart told the Tampa Bay Times. “I didn’t expect the worst when I probably should have.”
Investigators on the case are looking into how exactly Shelby managed to keep the lies up for nearly a year. “It would appear that he was able to just trick them into thinking that she was unavailable, she was somewhere else and she was unavailable for a phone call,” said Harrington. “They vacated the residence, he and his kids, close to a year ago and he’s been in various places, in the area and elsewhere.”
The Sherrif’s Office is pushing towards charging Svensen with the murder of his wife as well as that of her parents and brother.
FL Mother Jailed For Pimping Out Her Daughter, Since She Was 3-Years-Old, For Drugs
Celeste Chambers, a 37-year-old Florida mom would reportedly ‘pimp the girl out’ in return of some drugs. Chambers was convicted for this horrendous crime that she performed on her daughter since she was three-years-old. With the help of her ex-husband Kevin Wyatt she would get customers to molest her baby girl who could not refuse this sexual torture because Wyatt would hit her.
This horrible ordeal has been going on since 2003 and it ended in 2016 when the daughter finally broke her silence. At the court hearing in Tallahassee, Florida she courageously told the court about the assaults that was done against her. She was visited by pedophiles at least twice a week who forced her to indulge in sexual intercourse against her wish and how she wasn’t supposed to talk about whatever had happened.
The victim also added that Wyatt would hurt the girl physically if she refused to perform sexual acts. During the hearing, the girl’s grandmother made a statement telling the court about the child’s inability to sleep peacefully due to the traumatizing sexual abuse that she had to endure all these years. Following their confessions, the court found Chambers guilty of child abuse, capital sexual battery, and human trafficking.
Kevin Wyatt admitted taking part in the abuse of the girl in 2018. Anna Norris, the Assistant State Attorney of Tallahassee, said the child has “gone through a nightmare” as reported by The Sun. She added: ” The child has gone through a nightmare her entire life, and she was trafficked. It’s good to see that people are understanding that human trafficking is not what we see in the movies.
Revealing how happy Norris is for the justice that the girl received, she said: “I am glad this child was finally vindicated. What Chambers did to her was wrong and she was finally strong enough to come forward. It’s a difficult accusation to make. Now [Chambers] can’t hurt anyone.”

Scout leader busted for installing camera in boys bathroom
A vile former UK scout leader who coerced a likeminded perv to abuse his infant son and installed a hidden camera to film boys using the bathroom has been sent to the slammer for 12 years, according to local authorities — who described him this week as a “professional pedophile.”
Terence Hamblett, 44, who used to run a scouts group in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire, pleaded guilty in November to a string of child sex charges — and returned for sentencing on Thursday, the Cheshire Constabulary said in a statement.
An investigation revealed that Hamblett installed a hidden camera in the the bathrooms of a café he ran at JTF Mega Discount Warehouse in Stoke-on-Trent.
Footage on one of his laptops shows him setting up the camera, and 12 additional clips show two teen boys using the toilet and getting changed.
Investigators learned that Hamblett — who liked to be referred to as “Master” — had been inciting a fellow pedophile to sexually abuse his own infant son on a webcam during their Skype communications over a 3-year-period.
Nearly 14,000 messages — including indecent images — were exchanged between the two men, police said.
Authorities began investigating Hamblett’s alleged actions in September 2016, after receiving information from another police force.
He was arrested on suspicion of possessing, making and distributing indecent images of children.
Police seized several of his devices, which revealed a whopping 922 indecent images and videos of children being sexually exploited, police said.
He also had distributed more than 600 files containing child sexual abuse material — both to other offenders and his victims — through Skype, authorities said.
He pretended to be a teenage boy, and used the Skype names bennyboy4900 and jordbroomy when chatting with the victims, according to police.
He allegedly sent teen boys indecent images and videos in exchange for them performing sexual acts for him on a webcam. But he never showed his face — claiming to have a broken webcam to conceal his true age and identity, police said.
“This was a highly complex investigation involving thousands of images and videos, more than one-and-a-half million Skype messages and the identification of a large number of victims and other offenders both in the UK and abroad,” Detective Constable Andy Kent, of Cheshire Constabulary’s Major Investigation Team, said in the statement. “As a result of the work by our dedicated officers we have been able to show that Hamblett is a professional pedophile who used the internet and social media to sexually exploit vulnerable victims for his own sexual gratification.”

Freshman congressman tries to bring 6-pack of beer onto House floor
A freshman congressman brewed up some trouble in the House on Friday.
Rep. Joe Cunningham, a newly elected Democrat from South Carolina, was barred from walking onto the House floor with a six pack of beer Friday afternoon.
Cunningham said the illicit brews, from two breweries in Charleston, were a gift for Oregon Democrat Peter DeFazio.
“Making friends when you’re a freshman is hard and I thought I’d grease the skids with some Lowcountry beer,” Cunningham tweeted after the brew screw-up.
“Thankfully @RepPeterDeFazio got it in the end! Can I join the beer caucus now?”
The assorted six pack included a White Thai and One Claw from Westbrook Brewing Company and Dead Arm from Coast Brewing, according to the Post and Courier.
Coast Brewing suggested that another one of their signature brews could’ve helped lawmakers find common ground on Capitol Hill.
“For the record, I would have added our 32/50 Kölsch…..it’s very bipartisan,” they tweeted.

Teacher fired for making black students play slaves in class plans $1B lawsuit
A white city public school teacher — who claims she was wrongfully fired over a controversial lesson on slavery in which she was accused of having black students lie on the floor while she stepped on their backs — plans to sue the city for $1 billion.
Patricia Cummings, 37, was canned in October after complaints about the highly unorthodox teaching method that left some students feeling humiliated and singled out by the exercise.
But Cummings insisted Thursday that she initiated the lesson in her class at MS 118 in the Bronx in good faith — and only one student and her parent objected.
Her sacking — and the torrent of criticism that followed — has rendered her permanently unemployable, Cummings said at a press conference alongside her lawyer, Thomas Liotti. “I have no career at this point,” she said.
She filed a $120 million lawsuit in Suffolk County, where she lives, against a slew of defendants ranging from the city Department of Education to Mayor Bill de Blasio to media outlets. But Liotti said they plan to build a $1 billion class-action case with other teachers claiming similar forms of discrimination.
Cummings said she was initially cleared after an internal school investigation but that the case was revived after media reports on the incident.
The teacher said her suit will be supported by the testimony of a black teacher at the school who witnessed the lesson.
That colleague found it effective — and said he would not have objected if his own kids had taken part.
“That 20 seconds of a teachable moment changed my life,” she said, adding that she was pelted with emails calling for her murder and was widely vilified as a racist.
“Anyone who has met me knows I don’t have that bone in my body,” she said. “I was brought up — you treat everybody the way you want to be treated.”
Liotta argued Thursday that the lesson only drew objections because of his client’s race.
“How does the City of New York expect to attract effective teachers when people like Patricia Cummings have to go through this kind of abuse?” he asked. “It’s outrageous.”
The Education Department initially reassigned Cummings before firing her after an investigation, according to agency spokesman Doug Cohen.
Their probe found that she used poor judgment but did not substantiate the corporal punishment charge.
“Ms. Cummings was terminated based on a thorough investigation and a review of her performance as an educator,” Cohen said Thursday. “We’ll review the complaint.”

Couple used spy camera to watch nanny shower, get changed
A Lower East Side couple used a camera to spy on their nanny in the bathroom where she showered and changed, the nanny alleges.
Vanessa Rivas claims she agreed to take Lauren and Matthew Seltzer’s kids to swim lessons as long as she could use their bathroom to clean up afterwards, according to a Manhattan Supreme Court suit filed Friday.
After a year of working for the family, Rivas in January 2018 spotted a small, hidden camera in the bathroom where she regularly undressed.
She removed the memory card from the device before informing Lauren Seltzer of her discovery, saying that she felt “uncomfortable,” Rivas charges.
“Immediately,” Seltzer “became defensive and hostile toward” Rivas, calling her 45 times and sending 26 text messages demanding the memory card’s return, the former nanny claims.
Rivas said when she later reviewed the camera footage, she found that the device was placed in the bathroom 15 minutes before she arrived— when just Lauren Seltzer and the children were at home.
Rivas promptly quit. When she and her mother went to the Seltzers’ StuyTown apartment to drop off the keys, Lauren Seltzer allegedly “became irate” and called the cops to help retrieve the memory card. Rivas said she turned it in at the local precinct.
About a week later, Seltzer’s mother called and “attempted to persuade Ms. Rivas to sign a disclosure to avoid police contact,” Rivas’ lawsuit charges.
When Rivas refused, Seltzer spread rumors to other nannies and parents that she was “irresponsible and crazy,” according to court papers.
The ordeal caused Rivas to “lose all of her business and seek therapy for her traumatic experience,” she alleges.
She claims her former employers violated her “reasonable right to privacy.”
Neither Rivas nor the Seltzers could be reached for comment.
The legality—and ethics—of nanny cams is a hot issue in parenting circles, according to Lynn Perkins, CEO of the Urban Sitter babysitting agency.
“This topic comes up a lot in our nanny/sitter Facebook group,” Perkins told The Post. “The majority of care providers assume the family will have a camera in the home.
“That being said, it goes a long way to establish trust and open communication with the sitter when the parent mentions it when the sitter comes into their home.”
Parents have a right to install and use hidden surveillance cameras—with some exceptions—Manhattan lawyer Jeffrey E. Goldman writes on his website.
“No employer has the right to install nanny cams in the bathroom used by the nanny or in the nanny’s private room if it is a live-in employment situation,” he states.
In May, a former CNBC television director was arrested for spying on his nanny with a hidden camera in the bathroom of his suburban New York home. Daniel Switzen pleaded guilty to unlawful surveillance.

Eddie Murphy Confirms He Will Star in ‘Coming to America’ Sequel
It’s happening. The long-awaited Coming to America sequel is finally moving forward. And Eddie Murphy has signed on to star.
The 57-year-old comedian confirmed the news Friday, more than 30 years after the original comedy film hit theaters. The Paramount project will be directed by Craig Brewer, who helmed Hustle & Flow as well as the upcoming Netflix movie My Name Is Dolemite, starring Murphy and Wesley Snipes.
“After many years of anticipation, I’m thrilled that Coming to America 2 is officially moving forward,” Murphy said in a statement. “We’ve assembled a great team that will be led by Craig Brewer, who just did an amazing job on Dolemite, and I’m looking forward to bringing all these classic and beloved characters back to the big screen.”
According to Deadline, Murphy will reprise his role as African Prince Akeem, who traveled to Queens three decades ago in search of his, well, queen. The sequel will reportedly follow Akeem as he returns to NYC in search of his long-lost son. It’s unclear if other original cast members—such as Arsenio Hall, James Earl Jones, and John Amos—will appear in the second installment.
Black-ish creator Kenya Barris has signed on to pen the sequel’s script.
“Craig’s ability to create a distinct cinematic world with each of his films is not only impressive, but also what made him exactly the voice and vision we needed to bring this story to life,” Barris said. “[…] He never fails to blow me away. He is a true auteur and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have him on board.”
Paramount has not announced when shooting is scheduled to begin. We’ll be sure to keep you posted as more details about the film become available.

Man Rapes Drunken Daughter on His Wedding Night
A Danish man has been convicted of raping his own daughter on his wedding night in what he claimed was a case of mistaken identity.
The rape occurred in the aftermath of the country house reception for the 50-year-old man’s wedding, when his 20-year-old daughter was left drunk and unconscious in the bridal suite.
According to court proceedings reported by the Danish outlet JydskeVestkysten the woman, who had been sick repeatedly from drinking too much alcohol, was taken to the newlyweds’ room at 2:30 a.m. by her father and one other guest.
The father fell asleep 90 minutes later, in the same bed as his wife and his daughter. The man, whose name has not been divulged to Danish media, says beyond this point he cannot remember anything that happened. He denied all accusations of rape and sexual misconduct throughout court proceedings.
The daughter testified that, between 4:00 a.m. and 4:45 a.m., her father grabbed her. When she asked him to stop, attempting to sit up, he pushed her hard in the chest. Despite her persistent begging he then raped her. She was unable to defend herself, the prosecution argued, because she was still drunk.
In the days that followed the attack, the father claimed over text that he had mistaken his daughter for his wife, apologizing for the incident.
The pair had reunited just months before the wedding over Christmas 2017 when he invited her to the wedding. They had planned a trip to Berlin together, but the daughter canceled the trip and cut off all communication with her father.
“I think we should cease all contact … what you have subjected me to is something I cannot accept. I asked you nicely to stop and you continued. I shouted, you continued, I hit you, you continued,” the daughter was reported to have said by the Danish news site Ekstra Bladet.
Insisting that he had thought his daughter was his wife on the night of the wedding the man asked, in vain, if they could stay in touch.
He was found guilty and jailed for two years and six months.
Missy Elliott becomes first female hip-hop artist to be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame
Missy Elliott is officially the hottest ’round.
The “Get Ur Freak On” artist made history Saturday, becoming the first female hip-hop artist to be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
The official announcement was made on “CBS This Morning,” which featured Hall of Fame Chairman Nile Rodgers. Elliott is also the third rapper to be inducted.
“It’s amazing. To me, it’s important to have equality. I’ve written with a lot of women songwriters, but not nearly enough. That’s sort of my secret goal — I want to have more women songwriters,” Rodgers said on air, adding that Elliott was “one of my favorite writers of all time.”
Elliott shared her excitement on Twitter by congratulating the other inducted songwriters, who are Dallas Austin, Tom T. Hall, John Prine, Jack Tempchin and Yusuf Islam (Cat Stevens).
“I AM SO HUMBLY GRATEFUL to now be inducted,” Elliot tweeted.
The Hall of Fame’s 50th Annual Induction and Awards Dinner is scheduled for June 13 in New York.
‘A groundbreaking solo superstar’
The Songwriters Hall of Fame website described Elliott as “one of the most significant female artists in contemporary music history” who is a “groundbreaking solo superstar.”
A Portsmouth, Virginia, native, Elliott’s debut album, “Supa Dupa Fly,” was released in 1997, the Hall of Fame said. The album was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America and spawned the singles “The Rain (Supa Dupa Fly),” “Sock It 2 Me,” “Hit Em Wit Da Hee” and “Beep Me 911.”
Her third album, “Miss E…So Addictive,” released in 2001, saw the release of the hit “Get Ur Freak On.” The song won Elliott her first Grammy for best rap solo performance.
The song “Work It,” featured on Elliott’s fourth album “Under Construction,” made history by spending 10 weeks at the No. 2 spot on Billboard’s Hot 100, according to the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
Elliott has a long list of songwriter credits, the Hall of Fame says, that include songs for Whitney Houston, Mary J. Blige, Aaliyah and Jennifer Hudson.
She also performed at Super Bowl XLIX in 2015 and teamed up with other female artists for the song “This Is For My Girls” as part of Michelle Obama’s Let Girls Learn initiative.
