Wife says she sliced off cheating husband’s penis, then threw it out the window
A jealous wife has been arrested after allegedly hacking off her husband’s penis Tuesday with a 12-inch-long carving knife.
Karuna Sanusan, 24, carried out the bloody attack on 40-year-old Siripan after discovering he was having an affair, she told police.
She said she then hurled his severed manhood out the bedroom window, leaving Siripan writhing and screaming in agony in a pool of his own blood.
Neighbors heard his howls of pain and called the police, who arrived at the couple’s home in Sriracha, near Bangkok, Thailand, at 6:20 a.m.
Officers recovered his penis and put it in a cooler for surgeons to try to reattach — but medics said that would not be possible.
Siripan was rushed to the nearby Samitivej Sriracha Hospital while Karuna was arrested and held in custody.
She was pictured by reporters sitting calmly as she was interviewed by police.
She told officers she had recently discovered her husband had been seeing different women and hatched the revenge plot to cut off his penis.
She said: “Me and my husband work together selling organic vegetables at a stall. Before this happened I became suspicious he was having an affair.”
“I always saw him flirting with a lot of girls and I had an idea of what he was doing.”
“Then I found out that he was secretly going with other women. This made me very angry.”
“I was full of anger and couldn’t relax. I was so angry inside.”
She also told cops that she planned the butchery.
She added: “I aroused him in the morning while he was absent-minded, then used the knife to cut off his penis. I threw it out of the window.”
Police Col. Somkid Boonlert, deputy head of Sriracha Police Station, said officers had received an emergency call about a man’s penis being cut off with a knife.
Boonlert said: “Police arrived along with rescue staff and found the man severely injured. From the initial investigation it was discovered that the husband and wife had a career together selling vegetables. She had an idea that he was seeing other women and she took revenge.”
“The man had lost a lot of blood. He is now under close medical supervision. He will never be able to use his penis in the same way again.”
“Doctors said the cells in the penis are dead as it had been out of his body for too long. He will be disabled for the rest of his life.”
“Police officers have detained Miss Karuna for legal action and she is being prevented from seeing her husband.”
Ex-con stabbed his sister 53 times for taking too long in the bathroom
An ex-con stabbed his 15-year-old sister 53 times last month, killing her, because she took too long in the bathroom, a detective testified Monday.
Gavin Henderson, 27, moved in last year with his mother and siblings at the Lacota Apartments in Dunwoody, Georgia, after being released from a Florida prison following a several-year stint for violent crimes. Henderson turned to his relatives because he had no other options, a Dunwoody Police Department detective testified, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
But Henderson soon had alarming physical confrontations with his family, including pulling a knife on one of his sisters and a deadly dispute with another, Keaira Henderson, on June 18 — when he needed to use the bathroom and she apparently wasn’t finished, Detective Jesus Moldonado testified.
“She said there was an altercation about Keaira taking too long in the bathroom, which led to the fighting,” Moldonado testified in reference to a police interview with Henderson’s 12-year-old sister.
Henderson then allegedly grabbed a 10-inch hunting-style knife and chased Keaira outside the apartment, where the teen started banging on neighbors’ doors for help. Responding police officers would later be unable to count the number of times the teen was stabbed, but the medical examiner’s office counted 53 stab wounds in all, according to the newspaper.
Henderson, according to statements he later gave investigators, knew the stabbing would undoubtedly send him back to prison, so he acted as if there was “no turning back” after stabbing his younger sister once and just kept attacking her, Maldonado testified.
With his hands and T-shirt soaked in blood, Henderson later walked to a nearby convenience store and asked a clerk to call the police, saying there had been an “accident,” Moldonado testified. He is now facing charges of murder, aggravated assault and first-degree cruelty to children, the Ledger-Enquirer reports.
Henderson’s family did not attend Monday’s hearing and his attorney did not address the court on his behalf. A judge ruled that prosecutors had enough evidence to proceed in the case and remanded him into custody, according to the Journal-Constitution.
Keaira Henderson, meanwhile, was remembered as an aspiring attorney who attended Alpharetta High School, according to a GoFundMe page created to help offset funeral expenses. The campaign had raised more than $4,700 as of Tuesday.
“Keaira had a way with words but sadly her voice has been silenced,” the website reads.
Dad killed sleeping wife with hammer in front of son
A Florida man allegedly used a hammer to kill his wife while she was sleeping in bed with their young son, according to officials.
Marc Alan Berkowitz, 42, was arrested Thursday in the grisly murder of Anastasiya Savitskaya at their Plantation home, news station WBBH reported.
Police claim Berkowitz bludgeoned his 33-year-old wife because he was upset that she wanted to leave him and had exchanged texts with another man.
During the bloody assault, Berkowitz reportedly told his 7-year-old son who had awoken to “turn over” so he wouldn’t witness the scene.
The boy, however, later told investigators that he saw the “boo boo” on his mother’s head and watched his father drag her into the living room.
Authorities said the child told them that “mommy wouldn’t wake up” after the alleged assault.
Berkowitz admitted to police that he strangled his wife in the living room to “put her out of her misery.”
He then allegedly woke up his mother, Barbara Waterson, to confess to the horrific slaying, WBBH reported. Waterson called 911 but Berkowitz grabbed the phone and told the dispatcher, “I killed my wife.”
Berkowitz is being held without bail at the Broward County Jail on charges for premeditated murder.

Boss fired after telling mom her son being on life support is no reason to miss work
A Michigan gas station manager was fired after her callous response to an employee’s request for time off to be with her son, who was reportedly placed on life support, went viral.
Crystal Fisher, of Albion, told FOX 17 that her son Jason, 18, was rushed to the hospital on Thursday after his temperature spiked to 104 degrees and he had “low oxygen.”
Fisher had her 14-year-old daughter, who was not named in the report, contact her boss at PS Food Mart to let them know she could not make it to work due to her son’s illness.
“[Fisher’s daughter] said, ‘Can you have somebody cover Mom for [Friday], my brother’s really sick, they’re going to have to ventilate him,’” Fisher said. “And the boss, I could hear her over the phone and she told my daughter, ‘This ain’t the way we run things, your mother needs to be the one calling me.’”
Fisher said she was told by the doctors that her son needed to be transported to the University of Michigan.
“[The doctor] came in and told me that they were going to have to tube him and transport him to [University of Michigan],” she told FOX 17. “I lost it. That’s my kid.”
Fisher said she was told her son had a bacterial infection and that he would have to be placed on life support.
She then sent a text to her manager, whom she identified as Dawn, on Saturday, letting her know that she would not be able to make it to work until her son’s condition improved. Fisher said she was shocked by what came next.
“I text her Saturday and said, ‘Hey just letting you know that I’m not going to be able to come to work until further notice at least until he’s off life support,’” Fisher said. “She automatically came back with, ‘Oh so you’re letting me know you’re quitting.’”
Fisher said she was shocked by the response and replied, “Ok so how do we do things when my child is on life support? I never said I was quitting so I take it that you’re firing me?”
“If you can’t come to work that’s you quitting,” Dawn allegedly replied.
Fisher explained she was letting her know “ahead of time” that she could not make it to work “due to my child’s life on the line.”
Dawn allegedly replied, “I will not get into [this] with you on here but I’ve been more than accommodating during this allowing schedule changes and such. There is no reason you can’t work and I will not tolerate drama. End of conversation. If you aren’t there to work your shift tomorrow then I take that as you’ve quit.”
Fisher then said she would be contacting corporate. The manager supplied the mother with the corporate office’s number, but Fisher had one last question.
“Would you be able to go to work and function if your child was on life support? I don’t know if I’m coming or going and you expect me to work?” she asked.
“Yes I would, I still have bills to pay and something to keep me busy and occupied. We don’t just get to come and go as we please at Folk Oil. I have tomorrow and Monday covered. Your son is in the best place he can be. I have a store to run and that’s my focus,” the manager allegedly replied.
Fisher posted the text exchange on her Facebook page, where it went viral. She said she was shocked by the feedback and attention the post has received.
“My 14-year-old she was like, ‘Mom, Mom, so many shares.’ And I’m like I did not expect it to take off like this,” Fisher said. “But when I have people in my inbox ‘Hey I’m from Australia praying for you,’ you know, I’m just, I’m overwhelmed.”
Fisher said she was contacted by Folk Oil’s corporate office following the viral post. The office told her to take as much time as needed, and the manager was terminated following an investigation.
“We investigated and have found that the situation was handled improperly and without the compassion that we value as a company. For that, we are very sorry,” the company said in a statement.
“As a result of this finding, we took quick action and that manager is no longer employed by PS Food Mart. We have also reaffirmed to our employee that she will be able to take all the time off that she needs during this difficult period,” the statement concluded.
Fisher said doctors told her that her son may have a type of sepsis.
“My concern is when my son does wake up and when he does open his eyes, he sees Mommy there,” Fisher said.

Teacher accused of sex assault, trying to hypnotize girls
HUMMELSTOWN, Pa. — A third-grade teacher is accused of sexually assaulting a girl at a Pennsylvania elementary school and police say he tried to hypnotize others and make them vow to obey him.
James Mentzer, of Hummelstown, was charged Thursday with institutional sexual assault, indecent assault, unlawful contact with a minor and five counts of corruption of minors. Police began investigating him in February, and Mentzer was put on leave from East Hanover Elementary School.
Police say Mentzer requested each girl — ranging in age from 8 to 11 — come to his classroom to record videos for an alleged project.
Police say Mentzer videotaped them reading and attempted to hypnotize them.
One victim told police he made her repeat the phrase “I will obey you, Master” as he swung a necklace in front of her eyes.
No attorney information is available in online court documents.
Woman found very much alive in morgue fridge
A woman was declared dead after suffering severe injuries in a car crash — but scared the life out of mortuary workers when they discovered she was still breathing.
The dead giveaway came when staffers at the Carleton morgue in South Africa pulled the woman’s body out of the refrigerator and found she was very much alive, according to Times Live.
The woman, who was not identified, was thought to have been fatally injured when she and others were ejected June 24 after a driver lost control of the car they were traveling in. Two others died.
Paramedics with Distress Alert, an ambulance company, checked her vitals and even used a machine, which showed no sign of life.
“This lady had severe and multiple injuries,” Distress Alert operations manager Gerrit Bradnick told the news site. “The injuries, especially to her head, were so bad, you could not work out her age or size.”
A mortuary source blamed the death debacle on paramedics.
“Paramedics are trained to determine death, not us,” the source said. “You never expect to open a fridge and find someone there alive. Can you imagine if we had begun the autopsy and killed her?”
The woman, from Gauteng, was immediately taken to Leratong Hospital in Krugersdorp, where she’s receiving care.
An investigation into the morbid mistake is under way, but Bradnick maintained that his company is not at fault.
“This did not happen because our paramedics are not properly trained,” he said. “There is no proof of any negligence by our crew.”

Man pleads guilty to stabbing parents of daughter who called him ugly
NAPERVILLE, Ill. — A suburban Chicago man has pleaded guilty to stabbing the parents of a girl who called him “ugly.”
The Daily Herald reports that 21-year-old Zachary Machnikowski faces up to 60 years in prison on charges of attempted first-degree murder.
Police say the Naperville man believed a girl called him “ugly” while the two were at the same party in 2015. Machnikowski became angry and left the party to sneak into the girl’s home. Once inside, he grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed the girl’s parents in the head, neck and body while they were lying in bed.
The couple survived after the father was able to knock the knife away.
Machnikowski has been held without bail since the night of the stabbing. He faces sentencing later this summer.

Neighbors Call Police on 12-Year-Old Ohio Boy Who Mowed the Wrong Lawn
A 12-year-old entrepreneur says his lawn-mowing business is getting a lot of new clients after someone called the police on him for mowing the wrong yard.
Reggie Fields runs Mr. Reggie’s Lawn Cutting Service in the Cleveland, Ohio, suburb of Maple Heights. He has his cousins and his brothers and sisters working for him.
The tiny landscaping crew was mowing a lawn last week when police showed up.
Lucille Holt, the woman who hired Fields, told CNN affiliate WEWS that neighbors called the police because the children inadvertently strayed into a thin strip of their yard.
“They said the kids cut their grass,” Holt told WEWS.
Holt posted a live video of what was happening on Facebook, where it got almost a half a million views.
“They called the police to tell the police that the kids was cutting their grass. Who does that?” she said in the video.
Reggie told WEWS he didn’t realize they were in the neighbor’s yard.
“They said I was cutting their grass. I didn’t know it,” he said. “I was like, that’s a shame. I didn’t know.”
Reggie’s mom, Brandy Fields, told CNN that police just talked to the adults and did not bother the kids.
CNN has reached out to the Maple Heights police for comment.
Fields said her son started mowing yards in May because he was bored and wanted some candy money. When he saw how much money he could make, he threw himself into the business.
They were mowing four or five yards a day before all of the attention, said Fields, who added that Reggie has picked up about 20 new clients in recent days.
“Some people are calling from out of town, saying, ‘Can you come cut my grass?,’” she said.
Reggie will be going into the 7th grade and he’s got big plans to diversify his business. He’s planning to buy more rakes so they can pick up leaves in the fall, and then snow shovels for the winter.
“The City of Maple Heights is extremely proud of these young entrepreneurs!” Mayor Annette M. Blackwell said in a statement Sunday, calling the episode “a very heartwarming story and testament to the great children and generous people that live here.”
