Newborn baby’s head deliberately SQUASHED by giggling nurses in horrifying video
Far from intervening to stop the indecency, the nurse’s colleagues can be heard giggling in the background of the video.
The nurses – who have not been named – were tracked down and immediately suspended after the footage was shared on social media.
The baby was being treated for a urinary tract infection and had spent 10 days in the hospital when the clip was filmed.
After the nurses were banned, the youngster’s dad told Saudi media he was shocked and appalled when he saw the footage.
Abdulhadi Al-Rabie, Taif Health Affairs spokesman, said: “The Health Affairs investigated the source of the video and was able to identify the nurses who appeared in the video and the hospital where the incident took place.”
“All three nurses should thank God I was not the baby’s mother. I’d squeeze all your faces much harder,” one wrote.
Another said: “Wow! These nurses are a disgrace to their profession! How disrespectful to the parents, besides hurting the babies!”
