Things are looking good for the My Hero Academia manga series. According to Anime News Network it was announced on October 29th that the manga series will be getting an anime adaption. Not only that but a spin off called My Hero Academia Smash will also be included in Japan’s Weekly Shonen Jump.

The superhero manga series in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump in July 2014. The story is set in the modern day, except people with special powers have become common throughout the world. A boy named Izuku Midoriya has no powers, but he still dreams of becoming a Hero. The story is written by Kohei Horikoshi.

As an avid reader of this series, I’m very excited to hear about this. If you want to read about this series check out the Shonen Jump website or purchase the manga at your local book store!
