High School Football Player Stabs Father

We got another crazy story from Texas, in this case it’s about a high school football player stabbing his father.

In Sugarland, Texas a 16 year old is being detained at a Juvenile Detention Center after stabbing his father multiple times over him attending football practice. The 16 year old was planning on quitting the football program which is something he kept from his father.

The argument started when the father discovered that his soon wasn’t attending football practice. But the argument got worse when they arrived home which resulted in the boy stabbing his father multiple times in the stomach, arms, and back. The boy’s mother heard the commotion and called the police.

The father has since been in the hospital and is under stable condition. The 16 year old is being held at the detention center but is refusing to cooperate. The 16 year old is being charged with aggravated assault.

There has got to be a lot of tension in that house for something to pop off like this. Maybe once the teen calms down some more he can explain why he did what he did. Sounds like the father put too much pressure on him.
