Amandla Stenberg Launches New Comic Book Starring a “Badass Girl” of Color

I love the fact we’re seeing more People of Color in comic bocks and graphic novels but it be nice see a DARK SKINNED Character you white people (DO NOT TAKE IT PERSONAL WHITE PEOPLE of course I DON’T MEAN ALL OF YOU THINK THIS WAY) may say what’s the BIG DEAL at least you have something of your OWN! yes that’s TRUE but light skinned or white seems to be always the DEFULT when it comes to producing; casting for movies, TV or even creating a comic book; graphic novel. I am proud of this sistah girl Amandla Stenberg but from the Hunger Games Movies I wonder does she recognize that it is important to NOT only represent her OWN complexation but give the DARK SKINNED GIRLS some SHINE!
